From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed by smiling servers and the chef, which instantly made us feel comfortable. The portions were not large, but the aged sashimi was beautifully presented and delicious. All of the other dishes were excellent as well.

I loved the atmosphere. I went for lunch, and they had amazing sushi rolls. Fast and attentive service. Very reasonable pricing for the amount of fresh sushi. Definitely recommend

On Sunday at 7pm, my professor friend from Fullerton College kindly took me to dinner at this establishment, aiming to provide comfort following my mother's passing. The food, which can be described as comfort food, was outstanding, and I felt uplifted after dinner. The restaurant's theme was reminiscent of an Izakaya but executed in a more luxurious and exclusive style. I opted for the Bento box, which included three excellent items: Don katchu, Salmon, and mixed tempura. My friend's orders, the Chirashi bowl and two servings of Uni sushi, were met with enthusiasm. While the miso soup was good, it was somewhat too salty, prompting me to dilute it with hot water. Additionally, I wish the menu had included Miso and Soy Chilean Sea Bass. Lastly, the restaurant servers were remarkably civil and thrilled to greet us. The dinner was indeed excellent.

Absolutely loved Enraku Sushi! The motsu nabe was incredibly delicious—rich, comforting, and full of deep, authentic flavor. It’s not easy to find a great motsu nabe, and this one really exceeded expectations. Everything felt fresh and well-prepared. Highly recommend if you’re looking for quality Japanese food. Will definitely be back! 🍲✨

Had the best time here. I’ve been bringing a new friend every week the hot sake is the best during the winter. Kathy gave us remarkable customer service. We know her in a 1st name bases now and consider her a friend (in my head). lol I’ll continue coming here on Saturdays and making memories with friends.

The food in here is so amazing and the fish was so fresh. We both love the smoked salmon sushi and the scallop uni sashima. The place was really clean and the servers were really nice. I will definitely come back again.

Hidden gem in Fullerton! The sashimi platter was fresh and beautifully presented, especially the sweet shrimp and that little green peach — so unique and refreshing. Loved the cozy wooden decor and quiet vibe. Perfect spot for a relaxed dinner.

My mom and dad recently came to visit during the holidays, so I took my parents out to explore some new restaurants. A Japanese friend recommended a new izakaya in downtown Fullerton, just about a 30-minute drive from Irvine. I told my parents, “Let’s go!” and off we went 😆 ⭐ Chef’s Recommendation: Smoked Truffle Salmon It even comes with a little presentation ceremony 🥹 — made with fatty salmon belly, lightly torched and topped with truffle soy sauce and smoky flavor. The texture is layered and rich in flavor — absolutely delicious! ⭐ Their sashimi quality is top-notch 🍣 My Japanese friend was right — every piece of fish was incredibly fresh. The chef’s sashimi and sushi platter was impressive and beautifully presented, perfect for date nights 👌. Especially recommend the Tuna and assorted fish roe! ⭐ Tepan Style Hot Stone (pictured) The stone-grilled rice received consistent praise from everyone at the table. Cooked to perfection — crispy on the outside, flavorful inside. A must-try dish! ⭐ Motsu Nabe (Beef Intestine Hot Pot) If you don’t like spicy food, be sure to ask for no chili 🌶️. The portion was generous with over 30 ingredients in one pot! It’s perfect for the cooler weather lately — hearty and satisfying 😋. Will definitely order again next time. They also have private rooms — great for small gatherings or date nights 💕. Everything we tried earned unanimous praise from my parents — from the food quality and service to the cozy atmosphere and great value. It’s definitely a spot we’ll return to 🥰.

Enraku is a hidden gem in Fullerton that totally exceeded my expectations. I ordered the Umi Sashimi Combo and it was incredibly fresh, beautifully presented, and packed with flavor—definitely a must-try for any sashimi lover. The Uni Pasta was another highlight: creamy, rich, and perfectly balanced with a hint of sweetness. It’s the kind of dish you’ll be thinking about long after the meal is over. Their cocktails were also on point—super refreshing and well-crafted, complementing the food perfectly. The ambiance is stylish yet relaxed, and the service was attentive without being overbearing. Highly recommend for a date night or just treating yourself to top-quality Japanese cuisine. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Enraku has a great variety of dishes, so even if you don’t eat sushi there’s plenty to choose from. The Uni toast and Uni pasta are amazing, and the smoked salmon sushi with the smoke effect is perfect for photos. The sushi platters are beautifully presented, and the hand rolls are a great deal. The restaurant is spacious with cozy booths, making it perfect for dates. They also have some drink and lunch specials—definitely worth a visit!

⸻ When it comes to Japanese food, it’s either pricey Michelin spots or budget-friendly conveyor belt sushi. At regular Japanese restaurants, if you just want noodles, it’s always either udon or ramen 🤣 Honestly, I’m so over it. Today I’m sharing another hidden gem: Enraku Sushi. To say it’s low-key isn’t exactly true—it’s right in downtown Fullerton. But compared to the rest of Orange County, Fullerton does feel a little under the radar 🤣 1️⃣ Uni Pasta It’s rare to find this at Japanese restaurants—there aren’t many places in OC that serve it. Super happy this place does, and it’s delicious! The uni isn’t fishy at all, and the cream sauce is rich and flavorful. 2️⃣ Scallop Uni I order this appetizer every time. Absolutely stunning—the uni and scallop blend together perfectly. It has a slightly tangy taste that really whets your appetite! 3️⃣ Smoked Salmon Sushi This black truffle smoked salmon sushi is amazing! In photo 6’s gif you can see the smoke wafting out when the lid is lifted—such a vibe. The salmon is on the fattier side, and paired with the smoky flavor, it’s just so fragrant and tasty.

This newly opened Japanese restaurant was a real surprise! The atmosphere is very Japanese, and the seating is very comfortable. I ordered their sushi platter, and the sashimi was incredibly fresh, delicate, and melted in my mouth, with no fishy smell at all. I could tell they used the ingredients carefully. The sushi rolls were also very creative, with rich layers and not at all greasy. I also tried the sukiyaki udon and bento, which were generous portions, delicious, and very good value. The service staff was very friendly and attentive to details. They also have a special offer on sake and sushi rolls, which is a great deal. The overall experience was great, and I'm definitely going to go back!

I was genuinely impressed by the quality of this izakaya. The ingredients were very fresh, the presentation was beautiful, and the overall atmosphere didn’t feel like Los Angeles at all it really reminded me of being back in Asia. I may even be one of the first to write about this spot! The grilled smoked salmon sushi was excellent. The fish was tender and fresh, and the smoky flavor was subtle, complementing the richness of the salmon perfectly. I also tried the 12-piece sushi set, which I highly recommend. The variety was both delicious and visually appealing, and the fish quality stood out—especially the scallops and white fish. The creamy sea urchin pasta was another highlight. The pasta was cooked al dente, and the creamy sauce paired with the uni created a wonderful balance of flavors. For small bites, I ordered the fried shrimp and fried corn kernels. The shrimp, coated with potato threads, was incredibly unique and flavorful, especially when paired with the three different dipping sauces. The corn kernels were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, very similar to honeycomb corn in China, and paired perfectly with sake. The unagi rice was delicately prepared, with avocado and tamago egg rolls mixed in—it was hard to stop eating. The lychee cocktail was also memorable and added a nice finishing touch to the meal. The location is a bit outside central LA, in Fullerton, but it’s worth the trip. After dinner, strolling around the area was very relaxing and enjoyable. Overall, this is an outstanding izakaya that delivers on both quality and atmosphere. I’ll definitely be back.

Celebrated my oldest son’s back-to-school today at Enraku Sushi, a brand-new Japanese restaurant in Fullerton (close to Anaheim, not far from Disneyland and Knott’s). I came here with my three kids, and after lunch we dropped him off at his boarding school just a few minutes away — super convenient! ✨ Highlights 🍣 Gurume Premium Sushi — A 12-piece chef’s choice platter with uni, scallop, caviar, sweet shrimp, and ikura. Every bite was fresh and beautifully presented, and at only $49.95, it’s an amazing value. If I weren’t with kids, I’d love to sit at the sushi bar to watch the chefs preparing it — such an experience! 🥘 Bulgogi Hot Stone — Generous portion of beef with carrots, onions, and mushrooms. Perfectly balanced and hearty; my three kids shared it and loved it. 🍲 Motsu Nabe — Rich and flavorful beef intestine hot pot. The broth was deep and comforting, and the tripe was soft yet chewy with lots of flavor. 🍱 Chirashi — Fresh sashimi over rice, cut thick and plentiful, very satisfying. 📢 Promotions • Buy one sushi roll, get the second half off • Hot sake or Japanese beer, buy one get the next for $1 💗 Overall, the experience was excellent: very spacious dining area (rare for a sushi place), fresh fish, and family-friendly atmosphere. Perfect for family gatherings, casual drinks with friends, or even company dinners. Definitely planning to return!

The cocktails and appetizers are next-level fancy—think smoke effects (check out P2 & P4 for the drama). The vibe is immaculate! The space is huge, with sleek Japanese-inspired decor. The standout? The beef intestine hotpot—so comforting, perfect for chilly weather. The broth leans sweet, like a Korean-Japanese fusion twist. Also loved the uni pasta: rich, creamy, and packed with clams and fish roe. The early sections of the menu are solid for drinking snacks—the mussels were delicious and generously portioned. Bonus: Their booze deal is wild—second bottle for just $1! A must for groups who love to drink.

Stopped by thinking I was going to my regular spot but they rebranded to Enraku. Honestly, it's just almost the same but even better. This place has always been a vibe with great music and amazing service. I really enjoyed their promotions which I'm glad they didn't get rid of. Can't beat the price for Buy One, Get One 50% off special rolls. My lunch visit was nothing but delightful. They did update the menu but most of the items remain the same. What I was looking forward to was the newer items as I like to adventure off into curiosity. My newer choices consist of yuzu salmon tartare, Uni pasta, Motsu Nabe (a must have), Tepan style Hot stone (all time favorite), Double salmon roll, Cho Roll, Burrata Caprese and Saba Bouzushi. All the dishes had their own sense of style and not too heavy. Portion is large enough to feed a family of 4. Nothing was out of balance and the saltiness was just right. Highly recommend for large parties and good time!

A truly wonderful restaurant. Ample parking in the lot behind it. The ambiance is very neat, and the food is delicious. The servers were kind and attentive. Highly recommend!! The garlic edamame was amazing. Every guest in our party was very happy with their meal from a 65 year old to a 9 year old.

This place is definitely underrated on other platforms. The food and atmosphere transported me straight to Japan, with an authentic vibe that’s hard to find. The quality of the sashimi was exceptional—fresh and expertly prepared. From the decor to the service, everything came together to create a truly memorable dining experience. If you’re looking for a spot that delivers both great food and a unique ambiance, this is it!

Food was excellent!! Large selection of food options but we mainly stuck to sushi. Fish was fresh and combination of seafood/flavors all went really well together. Can’t really go wrong with what roll you pick! Gave it 4 stars only because the service was pretty horrible for going at a non busy time in the day. We had like four servers that didn’t seem to communicate because they never knew if they had taken our order and then they forgot one of our dishes. They weren’t super attentive so we were probably there longer than we needed to be, but the food makes up for it. Atmosphere was great, lots of space, and private booth! Pretty cool vibe

We frequently had dinner at this spot prior to the ownership change to Enraku Sushi. I feel that the service has drastically shifted to below average. I would not come here on the weekends as you will be waiting a very long time for your food to arrive at the table. The servers are lacking in attentiveness. They forget to check on the table after they take your order. Our entrees arrived 20-25 minutes apart. They kept telling us that there is a delay in the kitchen because of the dinner rush. Even the one sushi order took more than 30 minutes to be brought out. The food is decent so we will be back during lunch hours only. They seem to manage better at that time.

I went last night for a birthday dinner. Service wasn't the best we only saw our waiter twice and once was to take our order. We wanted to change something we ordered and our server said he'd be back but never came back to our table. We also wanted to add something to our order and we had to ask another server for help. We needed more water and had to ask the bus boy to bring us some. I think the lack of good service was because tip was already included in our bill... Food was okay, but when I got home I started feeling really nauseous and sick. It sucks because I usually like this place and recommended going there for the birthday girl's dinner...
