Justin was an amazing bartender. Very friendly and knowledgeable about all the beers. The food was amazing. Especially the burger of the month. He helped make our trip to Galveston one of our best trips. Jeff and Angela from Wisconsin
This place has the best avocado fries I have ever eaten! The garlic cilantro sauce is absolutely delicious with them. I always order a side of that with my smash burger. The restaurant has a bar system where you order at the counter and either open or close a tab. You also seat yourself and grab utensils/sauces/water from the front (self serve), but a waiter will bring your food out when it is ready. They make their own root beer (it tastes like black licorice).
If your idea of a good juicy burger needs 5 napkins, then we having the best because it’s 25 and counting! Ordered 1/2 burger and lLil’ Piggie. Both came with choice of sides. The piggie ( slow cooked beef in a some spectacular fancy bbq sauce)is worthy but the burger was tops. House made pickles, house made mustard, fresh spring mix, red onions and homemade fries ( brined in house)- 44 Farms beef that was juicy and flavorful. Bold enough to be one of the best burgers on the island- maybe the best…Justin was on hand to guide us with beverage choices and so personable- we’ll be back soon!
Can't recommend this place enough. We have the pork belly tacos and the pho King burger and both were amazing. To me it was the beer selection that really won it. Not gonna lie I spent probably $100 on booze over 2 days, but every drink was great and I had stuff I'll likely never see again. Anchorage's triple barrel Deal with the Devil is not something you should pass on. If you're in Galveston please please frequent this place. The bartenders are also great!
This is a fun place with some amazing offerings. Lots of the menu items can be made gluten free and the owners understand celiacs. Dedicated frier and lots of ciders and GF beers.
This place was fantastic! I ordered the Notorious P.I.G. (bougie pulled pork) and my boyfriend had the Mission From God burger (goat cheese burger with grilled onions and mushrooms) and we split. HOLY HELL. Yes. Just yes. This place has the food.
We had Blaine's Smash Burger, and it did not disappoint! This had to be one of the best burgers I've ever had! The fries are amazing, too! The service was excellent!
Good selection of food. Burgers, sandwiches, tacos and salads. Kids options also. I got Blaines smash burger. It was really good and filling. My husband got the big tex. He said it was good as well although i think he would pick something else at our next visit. Not crowded, dim lighting. It was nice
Kevin,bar and table service was really kind and knowledgeable about beers, past full time brewer. We went back the next day to also eat. While we missed the special of the day, but the smash burger and fries and watermelon gazpacho were all delicious. Ate the burger before I realized I forgot a picture.Thank you Brews Brothers! We'll definitely return when we visit Galveston.
Visited here on a Wednesday night. Tricia was going on and we were lucky to get a table for four. You have to go up to the bar to order brews and food, really my only complaint. The brews were cold and plenty of options. We ordered the Notorious P.I.G. which was the best pork I've ever had. The fries and chips are freshly made and seasoned well. Ordered the heat seeker burger, did not disappoint, very tender burger. Ordered the fish tacos, which were fresh red fish (seasonal) grilled. Finally, the fancy chicken Sammy. The chicken was grilled, juicy and flavorful and had fresh avocado on it. Overall, everything was fantastic and I would recommend the food to anyone.
Awesome burgers. I usually go for lunch during the week, I get in and out quickly. Everything is fresh and tasty. The burger of the month is always some wild creation that’s worth trying!
Absolutely love Brew Brothers! The atmosphere is unbeatable—warm, welcoming, and full of good energy. Whether you’re grabbing a coffee, a craft beer, or just hanging out with friends, this place feels like the local hangout spot you never knew you needed. What really sets it apart for me is Open Mic Night—hands down my favorite! The talent that comes through is incredible, and there’s this supportive, laid-back vibe that makes it a fun night every time. Whether you’re performing or just listening, it’s a blast. If you haven’t been yet, do yourself a favor and check it out. Brew Brothers is easily one of the best spots in town!
Exceptional food. Everything was made to order and came out hot!THE BEST BURGER OF THIS FATTIES LIFE!!!! The chicken wings excellent! Fries and ranch will turn you into an addict.. lol Awesome bartender, atmosphere,vibe. I will be back!!!!

This is the place to visit for an ice cold drink and delicious food. They have a large beer selection to choose from. Strongly recommend if your looking for a great place to enjoy a beer and good bar style food.
We had a good experience at Brews Brothers, although service was a bit slow it was high in quality. Friendly staff and clean premises. The food is really good too! We had the wings and the hot dogs. They also have a good selection of beers on tap.
Great local place with excellent service, cool selection and a low-key atmosphere. Its like a speakeasy without the legalities. Love coming here and seeing whats new. Also they have tasty food to eat while sampling. Will definitely be back. Justin is Always awesome and will help you find the beer you want
After fishing and not having any luck we decided to try this place out, nice selection of beers on tap, food was excellent. The bartender was excellent, my only gripe was the red salsa was bland, maybe needed some salt or a bit more kick. Also the Avocado fries were amazing, can’t believe I’ve never had those before, this was the first time I’ve seen them on a menu. We’ll definitely be back when we hit up the strand.
Really cute spot with good local draft beers, boardgames and books. Little one got the kids burger. My husband got the Blaine Smash. They loved their burgers but my husband said the Blaine Smash could've used more sauce. Avocado fries to start and they were DELICIOUS!!! I truthfully needed a much larger sauce, though. I got the crabby goat as my main. This sandwich had sooooo much potential. Crab, goat cheese, tomato and bacon on sourdough. Sounds great, right? There was so much goat cheese on this sandwich that is completely overpowered any other flavor. I could not tell it was crab and even suspected it might have been chicken until I took it apart and ate the crab alone (it was really good, well-seasoned crab, too! What a missed opportunity to showcase that!). I would recommend wayyyyy less goat cheese, more crab, add arugula and pickled red onions. That sandwich would be INCREDIBLE with a few modifications. Service was great, very friendly. I had no issue with the prices. Would definitely go back. Just might make the crabby goat at home for myself, going forward. (Hey, you guys need a chef? ;) )
Good place to grab a beer. We wanted to try this place out because everyone raves about their burgers and we wanted to compare it to our favorite. Vibe is dark and smells like a brewery for sure. Victoria, our server, was friendly and nice. You order everything at the bar. My husband had a double smashburger with cheese. It was overcooked for his liking. Seasoning was lacking. That patties are too thick to be smashburgers. His fries were also not cooked enough and not crispy. I enjoyed their heat seeker burger with no bun. It was cooked to a perfect medium. The habanero aioli was AMAZING! I could bottle that up & take it home. Pickled serranos were fire! I agree with my hubs that the burger seasoning was lacking. If I didn't have the delicious habanero aioli on mine it would have needed S&P. It was a great spicy burger. I also enjoyed their avocado fries with cilantro ranch. Someone told me the ranch makes it, she was right. Avocado fries could use some seasoning for sure. Overall, it's alright. Could return to try more items. Our favorite burger on the island remains at Mac-ies.
Cool spot. Stopped in last night for a date night to try some beers and eat some dinner. Service was awesome and the beers were all delicious The food was OK. My smash burger wasn't really a smash burger and it was overcooked. Added salt and pepper and the flavors popped a bit more. My fries were about half crispy and good and half soggy from the oil. They have live music on the weekends and were setting-up while we were in. Props to them for feeding the band for free. 3.5 stars 🌟
A very disappointing experience. Nobody at this restaurant cared at all about any of the customers that were there that day. Multiple people had significant problems with all of their ordered meals, the manager didn't care, the people working there didn't care, the people in the kitchen didn't care, it was very disappointing. My burger took close to an hour to get, and even then it was cold. Beer was decent, even if that took 20 min at the bar to order and get. And the very worst part? I went to the bathroom and I was able to peek into the kitchen and it was absolutely disgusting. Will never go there again.
