Food is great. Clean and new at this new location. A bit noisy. Good decorations and seating. Lots of grandfather clocks (5?)!!! More space than the old location
This is an excellent restaurant if you like fried catfish and vietnamese food. All the ingredients were very fresh and delicious. The combination of fried catfish wrapped with fresh vegetables was amazing. Overall, an excellent dining experience and I would highly recommend it.
I've been eating at Favori since I was a little kid, and it's always so delicious and a great place for family dinners! We always get the beef and shrimp salad with lime, banana blossom hot pot, fried catfish, and end the meal with a banana flambe and vanilla ice cream. I also really like their new location because it looks so much brighter and more modern. A lot more spacious too!
Let me just start by saying: my mouth is watering just thinking about this place. Writing this review is emotional. First off, the service? Top-notch — friendly, attentive, and fast. But let’s be honest… we’re all here for the fish. This is the main event. The eye of the tiger. The reason people make the pilgrimage. Perfectly crispy on the outside with just a hint of sweetness, and tender, savory fish on the inside that practically melts in your mouth. Wrap it all up with fresh herbs, crunchy lettuce, and your choice of dipping sauce, and it’s game over. A flavor combo that slaps in every language. This isn’t just a dish — it’s a requirement for any seafood lover. No other place does fish like this. Period. Oh, and a quick side note: don’t sleep on the marinated beef in lemon. But honestly? Skip the small talk. Order the large fish and eat like royalty.
The restaurant is beautifully decorated with a well-organized layout. The staff is quick and enthusiastic. The portions are generous and the food is delicious, especially the crispy fried fish wrapped in rice paper. The prices are reasonable.
My brother and I checked out Favori Restaurant 2 (Vietnamese French Cuisine) for their soft opening. We are happy that we did! This one is second generation runned. The moment you step inside, you are greeted with a modern design and a spacious layout that sets the perfect ambiance for an unforgettable dining experience. Their soft opening menu is limited, but let us go ahead and talk about the food - where do I even begin? The Pho Ap Chao Don, Seafood is a flavor explosion that will leave your taste buds dancing with delight. A little crunchier would have made it perfect for me! Perhaps, ask the customer how they prefer their Pho Ap Chao Don? The Bo Nuong La Lot is a culinary masterpiece, perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. And do not even get me started on the Sup Mang Cua - it's like a warm hug for your soul. Adding white pepper would have made it a double warm hug! We also had the Bun Cha Ha Noi, Choui Chien Dot Ruou, and complimentary ice cream But what truly sets Favori 2 apart is the personable, amazing, and downright funny Alex. From his witty banter to his genuine passion for food, Alex elevates the dining experience to a whole new level. He demonstrated unwavering honesty, provided exceptional recommendations, and was the epitome of an exemplary server. You can tell he genuinely cares about each and every guest, making sure they leave with a smile on their face and a belly full of delicious food. And let's not forget about the secret menu drink - it's like a hidden treasure waiting to be discovered. Trust me, you'll want to ask Alex about the Dau Biec. So, if you are looking for a dining experience that combines mouthwatering cuisine, impeccable service, and a touch of humor, look no further than Favori 2 Vietnamese French Cuisine You won't be disappointed!

I recently planned a birthday dinner here for 12 people. We had the signature dish of oven roasted crispy skin catfish, rolled in rice paper with all the fixings for the main course. Appetizer was the rare beef slices marinated in lemon juice and we finished off with the seafood hot pot. All was delicious! We also brought in a birthday cake for dessert. Service was fast and attentive. This was my first time at this new location and I was happy with the food and level of service! Will definitely come back to try other dishes!
Great place for a date! Love the food and service. Should definitely go here if you need a spot for food!

Favori is one of my favorite restaurant. The restaurant is spacious, nice decor, clean, great service. Came after lunch hour, restaurant was not too busy, we ordered quite a bit, foods came out fast, most dishes were delicious. BBQ pork was tendered, moist, tumeric fish little overcooked, love the shrimp paste on sugar cane, it was excellent, i dont eat rare beef but their rare beef salad was very good. I would recommend to everyone.
The place is nice, clean and cozy with minimal decor but yet well pleasing on the eyes. Easy parking since they share the parking lot with the plaza. Customer service can improve but nice and friendly (they just abit slow). Foods are good, well presentable, and well portion. Prices are as expected and overall it was a good meal. Yes it a huge improvement from the old location (I missed that place) to this location for sure. Nice, elegant, and cozy.
Combination $210 : Dishes include crispy fish, hot pot, eight spring rolls, beef salad, Queen fired rice, finishing with banana and ice cream dessert.
It looks like this is the second outlet of Favori Restaurant. Food here is quite good and worth a visit. Interior is new so it’s nice to dine in. Surrounding area is a mix of Korean and Vietnamese shops and restaurants that are a bit dated. There are a plenty of free parking in the strip mall. Fried cat fish was quite good.
I think I prefer the old Favori. We got the catfish also.

Very new and clean venue. Unfortunately, the service felt like 10 different waiters all on different pages, it was very chaotic and disjointed which led to a lot of staff ignoring us because it wasn't their table or they received our request but did not pass it onto the right people. Last, the food was EXTREMELY salty.

Food:3 Service: 4 . The sauce was good but the fish has room for improvement.
Foods are ok Service is nice but need more attention to customer’s need..
The food is ok. The grilled fish were not fresh. The service from the waiters are really bad. It's not as good as when we visited the 1st time months ago. We asked multiple times for the semi-private seating are & never got accommodated. The communication wasn't there & got lost easily.

Massively disappointed in the baked fish. It looks good but tasted terrible. The skin is like plastic while the flesh is soggy. A medium size fish cost $74. At that ridiculous price, at least guarantee quality. This makes sad as I have been a customer for almost 40 years. It has been declining for the last several years. I’m giving up on them. The new renovation and location is what you’re paying for.
The waiter recommended the “date night menu,” which included soup, salad, their signature grilled fish, and ice cream. Unfortunately, the fish was extremely mushy—more like mashed potatoes than grilled fish. We weren’t sure if it was meant to be that way, but typically fish should be flaky, so it immediately raised concerns. My husband ended up with food poisoning later that night. We can’t say for certain it came from this restaurant, but we do remember questioning the texture of the fish at the time. What really surprised us was the bill. We were charged for an extra portion of ice cream, even though dessert was included in the menu. When we asked why, the waitress claimed the date night menu only includes one ice cream. We never requested two; they brought out two on their own and then charged us for it. It felt blatantly odd and unnecessary. Overall, it was a disappointing experience, and we won’t be returning. There are plenty of other restaurants nearby that offer better food and clearer service.

Favori used to be to the top notch for crispy baked catfish. Now, not any more. They used frozen catfish which came out not tender but friable. Stir fried claim with basil leaves was mediocre.

Dirty leafy greens with dead bugs on it. After showing the staff, they didn’t even exchange the greens or apologize. The medium fish was clearly frozen and had barely any meat. Not worth spending money here. This is just disappointing 😭

I usually visit your restaurant in the evening, and I have always been impressed by how friendly, fast, and attentive your staff are. However, today, October 20, was my first time coming during lunch hours, and I was extremely disappointed. The morning staff were slow and showed poor attitude. I ordered an iced tea from the menu priced at $2.50, but it was never served. When I asked about it during checkout, instead of explaining or apologizing, the staff seemed annoyed and simply handed me $3 back — without a word. It felt like they were just giving me the extra 50 cents to dismiss me. That behavior was rude and unprofessional. I was very disappointed by this experience and, unfortunately, I will not be coming back again.
