I got married at The Garrison in May 2024 and it was a wonderful experience. Bridget and The Garrison team made my wedding planning process seamless. I always tells people that I could have done no work leading up to the wedding but it still would have been great because I had a beautiful venue and a team of true professionals on my side. If you are considering a wedding at The Garrison, my advice would be to go for it. A great experience for the couple and their guests alike.

Getting married at The Garrison on July 11, 2025, was truly a dream come true. From the start, our coordinator Annie was communicative and clear every step of the way. On the day itself, she was calm, prepared, and kind - at one point she even placed the shoes on my feet mid-reception so I could get back to the dance floor without missing anything! The setting is breathtaking, and knowing there was a thoughtful rain plan in place allowed us to enjoy the day without stress. The food was another standout - every dish was delicious, beautifully presented, and far beyond what anyone expects from “wedding food.” Our guests are still raving about it!! What impressed us most was the way everything flowed. Cocktail hour was so full of food and drinks, that we went straight into dancing. The energy never dipped, and the dance floor stayed full all night. The entire staff was professional and attentive throughout. We are endlessly grateful to Annie and the whole Garrison team for creating a wedding day that was seamless, joyful, and unforgettable. We cannot recommend them highly enough!

We got married at the Garrison on 9/5/2025. We could not imagine having a wedding anywhere else, everything from top to bottom was phenomenal. The professionalism and attentiveness from the staff on the day of our wedding was unmatched, they were extremely accommodating and treated us like royalty! The staff was exceptional in setting everything up and preparing everything for us, and made sure everything went completely smoothly. The food was spectacular! The view was spectacular! Your guests will remember it. It was so incredibly easy working with everyone here and we would recommend them over any Hudson Valley venue! Getting married at the Garrison was the absolute best decision we could have made. The venue is absolutely stunning. You can't do better than the view and the floor to ceiling windows are so beautiful. I loved how gorgeous and unique the space was, as well as elegant and classy. I was also obsessed with the wooden farm tables they use for cocktail hour stations and the sweetheart table. And the sunset view!!! Just stunning. It's worth booking at the Garrison just for that alone. (Make sure you take sunset photos with your photographer). Aside from that, the service is amazing. We worked with Annie and she was incredible. From the moment we booked with the Garrison she was so helpful and super responsive to all of my emails. She answered all of our questions and was great at advising us. On the day of, she was on top of everything and always there if we needed anything. Fatima, my bridal assistant was amazing too. We felt so taken care of all day. The servers and bartenders and all of the staff were great too. All of our guests had a great time and said they never had to wait long for a drink and dinner service was perfect as well. Everyone said the food was delicious too. The pass arounds at cocktail hour were amazing, as well as the stations and the dinner entrees. I can't recommend the Garrison enough! An amazing place to get married!

The Garrison was the most incredible place to have our wedding - absolutely stunning views, amazing food, and truly the best staff we could’ve asked for! Annie helped plan every detail and made sure the day ran perfectly - she was completely on top of her game. Richard, our captain, helped with setup and kept everything running smoothly, and Fatima, our bridal assistant, was by our side the entire day making sure we were taken care of - she thought of everything and truly made me feel like a princess. We even brought s’mores supplies and had McDonald’s delivered late-night, and both Richard and Fatima went above and beyond plating and organizing everything! We also stayed at the inn with our families, and Marie at the front desk was so sweet and helpful when we checked in and brought all our things in. The rooms were so spacious, clean and the beds were super comfortable! The day before, we had our rehearsal and dinner at their bar and restaurant, and Adam was amazing - super communicative, personable, and made it such a fun experience. Everyone is still talking about how delicious the food was and how it was some of the best food they’ve had at a wedding! We loved every moment of our wedding weekend here and are already planning to come back for our one-year anniversary! We can’t thank the team at The Garrison enough! ♥️ Lauren & Chris

But what truly made the experience unforgettable was the incredible team that brought it all to life. Working with Annie, Adam, and Bridget felt like working with people who shared our brain—they anticipated everything, communicated clearly, and made the entire planning process feel effortless. Even when unexpected rain stopped and required a last-minute switch from an anticipated indoor to a magnificent outdoor ceremony, the team handled it so gracefully that our guests didn’t even notice. Everyone was too busy enjoying cocktails, hors d'oeuvres, and good company—all smoothly managed by The Garrison's expert staff, who knew exactly how to keep the energy flowing and spirits high. David, our day-of attendant, was an absolute gem—checking in with us throughout the evening, bringing us drinks and food, gently reminding us to take breaks (yes, even to use the restroom!). His attentiveness and kindness meant so much to us. While the property is currently undergoing renovations, it in no way disrupted the beauty or flow of the day. Once guests enter the event space, all they see is the magic—the views, the light, the architecture, and the love in the air. From our intimate inn stay to our next-day brunch, from our wedding shoot to our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception—every moment at The Garrison exceeded our wildest dreams. The food, the service, the energy—exceptional across the board. We cannot recommend The Garrison enough. It is a truly special place made extraordinary by the people who run it. The Garrison was the perfect place for our wedding. Everything from the initial planning with Bridget all the way through the wedding itself was done extremely well, and the recommended vendors were excellent also. It was clear that the group worked great together and it felt like a totally seamless experience from start to finish. A special shout out to our bridal attendant, Fatima, who was with us throughout the night and took care of so many little details. The view from the ceremony, cocktail hour, and into the reception was perfect and all of our guests had an incredible time. Food and drinks all excellent as well.

We feel so incredibly lucky to have been married at The Garrison. The venue is so beyond stunning, combined with our fantastic photographer, our wedding pictures are truly the most beautiful photos we’ve ever seen. The scenery is so stunning and romantic. The venue works tirelessly to upkeep the property and they do a phenomenal job. We were catered to from the start of the day to the end. Anything we needed we knew Annie and Fatima had our backs. I got to meet Annie a while back, she very quickly eased any questions and concerns we had. We got to meet Fatima the day before the wedding and she was immediately ready to help and get us ready for our big day. We live out of state so getting everything organized was a bit messy on arrival, but between Annie and Fatima, they were ready to rip into the mess. So grateful for them to organizing the absolute perfect day for us. It could not happen without them. On top of the staff being so ready and receptive to us, the FOOD! The food was so beyond, every single one of our guests raved about how incredible the hors d'oeuvres at cocktail hour, their meals were, and dessert! We are so lucky to have celebrated our love at this venue and we truly look forward to many anniversary visits in the future.

We could not have asked for a more perfect wedding at The Garrison! The location is absolutely stunning, and the layout of the outdoor ceremony garden, cocktail hour room, reception room, and additional outdoor space worked incredibly well! We also got so many compliments on the food! While the venue itself is amazing, the team at The Garrison is what really sets it apart and what made our day so incredible. Annie, our wedding coordinator, was such a pleasure to work with and made the entire planning process leading up to the wedding as well as the wedding day itself as seamless as possible. Her professionalism, expertise, and care really made it a perfect day. The Garrison also has an incredible list of preferred vendors. We ended up choosing nearly all of our vendors from their list and could not be more happy with how everything turned out! Overall, we can't recommend The Garrison highly enough!

The Garrison exceeded our expectations and was the most perfect place for our wedding. Annie was exceptional to work with- so accommodating and flexible with clear communication. Our guests were so impressed with the scenery- the natural backdrop of the Hudson valley was all the decor we needed. The FOOD was also absolutely delicious and super high quality. Annie and her team made planning a breeze. we knew as soon as we entered the Garrison for our tour that this venue was the one for us. The price point was realistic and I really loved how they accommodate one wedding per day- making it a very special and personalized event. We ended the night with a campfire amidst the mountains while other guests danced the night away inside! We are so grateful and overjoyed that we chose this place for our special day!

All I can say is WOW!! I had my daughter’s bridal shower here this past Sunday. From the moment I saw the place and met with Bridget I knew this was the place. Bridget is wonderful, and a delight to work with. Bridget goes above and beyond to make sure everything is taken care of before during and after. I went to a wedding at the Garrison. The atmosphere was beautiful and the wedding went off without a hitch. We were staying in a hotel not too far from The Garrison which made everything convenient. We had a dog at the hotel with us I wanted to take him back a doggie bag of steak we did not eat. They refused to give us a to-go box and said they don't do that in the banquet hall. I was very disappointed because the food was just going to get thrown out.

A friend of mines got married here and it truly is a beautiful place! The outdoor gazebo, great mike, cocktail hour near the ceremony place for pictures, then the hall further down over looking nature! It was a really pretty place. Majority of the staff were great, especially James & Mia who served dinner and drinks and James the Bartender who made us a special cocktail at another bar. I will say the main course (vegan meal and steak meal) did not live up to everything else, there was a lack of flavour in both and the steak meal was never cooked enough. There were also two bartenders who worked the cocktail hour and at the end of the night, both females that had a very disrespectful attitude the entire night. Other than that, its a really pretty place for any of your events!

I attended a wedding here recently. This place is just ok. Nothing spectacular. Looks like its been a while since renovation. Food was terrible. We asked for well done steak, it came bloody and rubbery, asked to redo it. Still bloody and even harder. Chicken was tasteless. Everyone at the table complained about the food. Drinks: no cognac or good whiskey. Low shelf bar items only. Some renovation in area. The wedding arch or structure where couples get married is strange and scary, looks like a scene from Harry Potter. Medieval times.
