Best pizza in Belton! We have eaten the buffet twice and ordered pizza to go twice. The variety of pizza on the bar is more than expected. If you come in and the bar is low on pizza just give it a few and they will have more. I counted 11 different kinds of pizza and 2 dessert pizza. The salad bar is fresh and delicious. The banana pudding is perfect. Highly recommend!!!

Studebakers is delicious! Their pizza is always made with fresh ingredients and it shows in the taste! Their service is always slow, but in my opinion, quality ingredients are worth waiting for. I would recommend them to anyone. Especially the chicken bacon ranch pizzas!

This is a family owned business. There food is delicious and addicting. I pride myself on enjoying a pizza made at a higher standard than the "quick and cheap" pizza. Quality is second nature to these folks and I would highly recommend this Pizza

Clean place, the pizzas are a bit larger than you order which isnt something to complain about. Be prepared for leftover pizza for breakfast. Great service. There is ice cream next door which makes it fun for the occasional bite with the kids.

The pizza was absolutely delicious. We stopped for lunch last Saturday after a volleyball tournament in Gatesville. Ordered 2 large pizzas which were more than enough to take home and have left overs for dinner. What a hidden gem for people that are not from that area. Great service as well. We will definitely go back next time we're in the area.

Friendly service. My salad was fresh crisp and served in a chilled bowl with homemade ranch dressing. My pizza was delicious! Made as I ordered, served right out of the oven. I'm a thin crust gal and they do it right. Wonderful locally owned and operated business.

We came here with the intend of getting a dessert pizza, but all of us ordered different dinner pizzas to get as many options as possible. All were very delicious! We also ended up trying the ice cream, which was a great selection! On top of it, we still got our dessert pizza, which was everything we expected and more! We all left very satisfied, and so stuffed that we didn't want to eat the next day!

Studebaker's is a bustling little restaurant with very nice salads and pizzas, as well as several flavors of hand scooped ice cream for dessert. Our favorite pizzas are buffalo chicken, and veggie on their ranch base (which is much less acidic than a tomato base). Prices are a bit higher than the chains, but the food quality and consistency are worth it! Pickup, dine-in, or delivery available. There is a wall of beer taps in the restaurant, as well as a few arcade games.

Best mom and pop pizza shop in central Texas. My family can't eat pork and the owner will let us bring them turkey pepperoni to use on our pizza before they make it. Loyal customer for years. No place better.

The pizza buffet was well worth the money. The pizza was hot and fresh. If you ask they will make any of thier pizzas and put on the buffet. Salad bar is small but has all the most important ingredients. Was very impressed with the young workers who kept everything clean and organized, all the while smiling. Will return when in the area.

For those of us on a serious no or low carb diet . Studebakers Pizza will serve you up a crustless pizza any style. Still have your favorite pizza with out the carb crash. All you have to do is say: I would like a no crust or crust less whatever pizza you desire. Example: you used to eat a meat lovers pizza. (Thats the one featured in the picture) You just order: a whatever size crust less meat lovers pizza please. Then tada they just make it up for you.

First time customers! Traveling from Waco to Abilene and just hit Gatesville at supper time. We are glad we picked this location to eat. My family and I were extremely impressed with the pizzas. Some of the best I’ve eaten, and trust me, that is saying a lot. We have all agreed we will plan our routes and times through there when we can, just so we can eat there

We had the Chicken Bacon Ranch Pizza. It was amazing! The ranch based sauce was perfect, not overly ranch flavored. Their cheesy bread was as big as a pizza and tasted wonderful. These guys were awesome enough to deliver a banana split to our hotel room! Definitely a must if anyone wants pizza! Only down was that they don't have a website, had to find their menu on facebook.

It was really good, food was fresh, service was good 👍 my only complaint would be that we were charged a delivery fee when we ate there and didn't order anything that needed delivery. Pizza was amazing! Ordered the BBQ chicken pizza. Crust was delicious. A little skimpy on the chicken and some chicken was a little gristly. Was ready in about 20 min and was able to pick up easily. No plates were offered for a to-go order for a hotel stay. That would have been convenient. Would definitely come back again to try it! Good restaurant to have in a small town. Prices were reasonable!!

First time in Studebaker’s and it was great all around. Had cauliflower crust meat lovers (who knew you could get a cauliflower crust in Gatesville, Texas?) and it tasted great, crunchy and well-appointed with meat. Lots of beer choices and cool to see local young people working. Music and decor were great. Highly recommended.

We had the STUDEBAKERS pizza. Wow, delicious. It was hot, fresh, the sauce was great, not too tangy and not too wet. There is an arcade area. Eight choices of Stubborn soda on tap. Sixteen beers on tap. Service was a reasonable wait. Wonderful to see lots of groups, friends and family, coming together knowing there is something for everyone! This place is a local favorite for lots of reasons!

Best restaurant we have ate at so far in Gatesville. We are visiting for 3 weeks, from Indiana. Only one complaint, we ordered a sausage and pepperoni pizza. We got a pineapple and sausage pizza, so the kiddos just picked of the pineapple. Other then that everything was delicious.

Studebaker is an amazing place to dine in or get take out. The serve pizza, salad, wings, other Italian foods and have a bar/ice cream area. They have lots of different kinds of pizza and except any types of requests. They have two locations. As for atmosphere they have a few arcade games, beautiful art one the walls and TV for people who like to watch sport games that are being played at that time.

**Update #2** Studebakers made good on the delivery and has renewed my faith in their customer service. As always the food is amazing and customer service has come through. Highly recommend! Thanks again SP! P.S. The driver was extremely nice and fast. Update** Studebakers returned my call this afternoon and has offered to resolve the issue. It was a busy night and there was confusion with the delivery. I have upgraded to two stars following the call. Stay tuned for final rating... Ordered pizza at 7:05pm. Called at 8:50 and was told it was out for delivery. At 9:20 no one answered the phone. No one called when out for delivery as I was instructed. No dinner tonight. I will say that the pizza is great, but the service is less than one star, it just wouldn’t let me leave a zero star rating.

absolutely awful. asked to speak with the manager by name and they sent me someone else while i was looking right at her. kids at the front are incredibly rude. this place has gone downhill bad and the customer service is awful. wont be coming back. got told my pizzas would be done and waited an extra 20 minutes. truly a shame since it’s the only pizza i’ll eat. Coming back three years later to edit my review. I’m still leaving the original up because I think it’s important to show the growth in this place. The food is wonderful, always hot the last few times I’ve been, not to mention delicious. The atmosphere is fun and feels safe, as there’s always a cop or two in there. The service still could be better, if you’re lucky enough to interact with someone who isn’t a teenager, you’ll probably have a good experience. Best pizza I've ever had!! We had the Stinger with extra thin, extra crispy crust. The crust held up to all the toppings and was well cooked throughout. I really hate a sloppy, wet pizza and this was definitely not that! I'll be back!

Had the Supreme Pizza and it was good. They do a really good job on the crust without making it too thin! The sauce was good and the meat was plentiful for the price! The layout of the restaurant is kind of awkward making it a little crowded to get around in.

They have a special 2 topping medium pizza for $7.99 nice selection of micro brewery beer on tap. Bee sure to find the cold mugs to self pour, they are located in a casket case near the spigot. Don't be afraid to try the cheese burger pizza, it has mustard, burger, pickles and onions.

Great subs and pizza, but why is there a delivery fee of 5.00, plus? I truly hope this goes to the delivery driver as well as the tip we leave. Much deserved to them. Hope the owner can explain this.

First time trying this location. Pizza was good. Inside of location is nice, makes you want to sit down and enjoy the atmosphere. I didn’t read the menu so when I ordered my decision was based off the names of the pizza. Ordered the bbq chicken. Pizza was cooked great. Dough wasn’t raw like some places. I’m more of a thin crust type of pizza eater but their crust wasn’t bad. I was just slightly disappointed by the toppings. Although it was good. Out of all the bbq chicken pizzas I’ve eaten this one has the least variety if toppings on a bbq chicken pizza. Flavor was solid but wasn’t the best bbq chicken pizza I’ve had.

Their pizzas and pub cheese are fantastic. When I picked up my order, I wished I had stayed instead because it looks like such a fun place. Lots of good beers on tap in the self-serve/sample style of machines.

Its a nice local place feels very pleasant and quaint. I do not like fact that I haven't ask delivery times because they only mention it after they receive payment forcing you to have to wait a long time at times for your order. In addition to that they never have bone in wings. 9.99 for chicken nuggets is not worth it

Not sure how to leave this review. I like Studebakers Pizza. I telephoned my order from Temple for pickup. When I arrived 30 minutes later, I was told my order was still in the oven. So, I waited for 15 minutes until someone asked my name again. They checked again and found it on the counter. So I was handed the pizza and sent on my way. The pizza was very good as usual although cold. We will chalk it up to a (hopefully) rare mistake, avoid a terrible review, and try again another time.

As a first time experience I was disappointed by service only because the first pizza I was handed was not what I ordered and when they fixed it we were being charged for their mistake, the second pizza I was handed was close but still not what I wanted because I was accidentally combining 2 different pizzas and instead of correcting me after making specifications they made it however they saw fit. Will return to this location but it will be a while due to this experience.

Pizza was good and so was dessert. Liked that they made a half and half pizza for us. The vegetarian pizza had balsamic vinegar base so it was a bit moist.

We just moved to the area and wanted to try this place because of the reviews. The food was good but they were very slow and don’t listen. My boyfriend order a calzone and they brought out a large pizza instead. They also don’t explain to you that your food comes with like 8 breadsticks so it you order breadsticks as an appetizer you get enough bread to feed a family of 5. And they’re insanely expensive we spent 65 dollars for just 2 people.

I bought 3 pizza's a large supreme a large pepperoni and a chocolate pizza. My total was 60.98 on 10/01/2022 then today my total was 66.98? I didn't tip my old lady didn't tip because of the lady that took are order was rude and the lady that delivered it was rude. I have never had a problem with this place ever. The pizza is fantastic but I'm truly amazed how a 6 dollar tip was added to my receipt for some reason. I called the Gatesville police as well to fill out a report. I know it 6 dollar so why complain at all because I work for every dollar I make and still do. Stealing is Stealing and shouldn't be excepted at anytime. They said they are refunding my 6 dollar's. But you shouldn't have to look at your statements everytime you order food. I'm just lucky that my account updates me everyday. Yes I'm posting this to make everyone aware that this might have happened to yall.

First time trying and Unfortunately, the 2 pizzas we ordered for pick up were uncooked, doughy, and flavorless. The service was friendly but didn't care for the food. The margarita pizza was not like one would usually expect. No fresh mozzarella or basil, just had a little dab of dried basil. We asked for red sauce on it but still not much flavor.

PRO--Pizza is actually very good, beer is very cold CON--everything else. ceiling fans on gale force. was told there was nothing they could do about. temp feels like its in the lower 60s. -order wrong- I ordered hamburger/canadian bacon.. got sausage/canadian bacon. Friend wanted to delete bell pepper from supreme pizza and add jalapenos and they wanted to charge $1.49. For changing which pepper was on it. beer is in fancy pour yourself bar which is ok if you don't have servers, but there is NO indication of price until its poured. A person might not want to try a different beer if its 2 or 3 dollars more. The main reason I'll not be returning is they insist on seeing ID. I'm 70 years old and in no way going to be confused with under 50, much less 21. I will not spend money where I am "carded" at my age. My wife leaves her purse in the car to keep it clean and safe and has to go back to the car to get it. I have parkinsons and its difficult to get the ID out of my wallet without spilling everything. Either your system needs to be changed or hire somebody with common sense (good luck with that) that can override it for geriatric people. Again pizza is very good (even though wrong), but best to just get it to go and don't be too picky about what kind you get.

I ordered three pizza’s one was made wrong. Then the girl at the counter was kinda rude. Then she walked around the counter and brushed up against me without saying she is sorry or even an excuse me. This isn’t the first time we’ve had a problem with this worker. We only do take out now because a few serves have made it unenjoyable for our entire family grand kids included.

Absolutely NOT!!! The pizza was rubbery and cold like it had been in a cooler, the wings were pale as hell although we ordered hot wings. The drinks was flat. It was take out and we got there in 15 minutes. It was so bad that we just threw it away. $55 and it was a $10 tip. Nah. Hell no. I wish I could give this 0 stars. Maybe it was just a bad afternoon but at 5 pm????

One of our guests needed gluten-free, so she ordered the crustless pizza. It was absolutely terrible and inedible. And the manager refused to reimburse us.

I just ordered the pasta dinner today, and my wife ordered a small chicken Margherita pizza. When we got home to eat the food my wife found a hair baked into the crust of the pizza. At first the young lady who I was speaking to on the phone when I told her about the hair was kind of like ok, and just went silent until I asked her what can we do about this situation then she was like ok let me go ask my manager. It took like 5 minutes to discuss the situation before simply saying we will refund you your money. Good place maybe just invest in some hairnets so this doesn't happen again to anyone else. The 2 topping deal is a sham. If you ask for chicken and bacon you have to pay the price of a specialty pizza. How does that make any sense if it’s only 2 toppings?! They told me one price when I called it in and it was practically double when I picked it up.

Ordered delivery to Ft hood, order was messed up I ordered buffalo wings and cinnamon sticks. Arrived with cheesesticks and plain wings no sauce. Called and politely asked about it and was met with super rude customer service from Taylor who said she was the manager and hung up on me. Very disappointed where it could have been an easily resolved issue.

Dough is over worked (over baked?), and super chewy. Their "calzone" is not a canzone but a pizza with another thick, chewy, dough on top making it literally a pie (not dough folded over, encasing the ingredients, like what you expect when ordering a calzone). A real waste of money. You will burn calories chewing it I guess. Their pizza sauce doesn't have a vibrant flavor, it just exists. Just not a fan at all.
