The truth is, the flavor isn't bad, except they're about the size of a wafer, and the price might be a bit high. 25 for a normal stew and 30 for a more flavorful one; it would take you about 3 or 4 hours to fill up, and the water isn't too bad. They only accept exact change or credit card, so don't pay with a very large bill.

The flavor is okay, but the gorditas are small, and to top it off, they only give you half of them. I ordered three gorditas with water, and they took forever! And that's even though there were only two people ahead of me, and I counted six employees there. None of them seemed to be doing anything; they were all huddled together. While I was waiting, I realized they prioritize delivery orders: by the time they were getting our orders to me and the two of us, I counted five delivery drivers. I understand they might be under pressure, but it's absurd that with so many employees, they can't speed things up. I also agree that they serve you reluctantly, even if you arrive friendly and cheerful. The prices are about 2-3, neither very expensive nor cheap, but you can definitely get tastier gorditas at other stalls for less money.

I love Doña Tota, but they didn't have many of the stews, they didn't have sugar gorditas, and the staff doesn't even make eye contact when serving you because they're so rude, they don't even answer your hello. Everyone seemed to be in a bad mood 🥲

Lately the quality of the service has gone down, they come several times when I go not too late and say that they no longer have service. Besides, they no longer let you eat there, in the area they are supposed to have for customers. Just as the staff is sometimes not at its best. The flavor and quality of gorditas has decreased a lot, they no longer have the same characteristic flavor they had.

I ordered some totaquiles with stew and a soda for a total of $130.00. I paid with a $200 bill, and this happened: Cashier: Don't you have a smaller bill? Me: No, it's the only one. C: I don't have any change. Could you go get it? Me: Okay, then I'll pay by card. C: The terminal isn't working. We only accept cash. Me: If you don't have change and you don't accept cards, how am I supposed to pay? You should have change. C: It's not my fault the terminal isn't working. People think we always have change here, and we don't. I decided to eat somewhere else. It wasn't just what happened, but the attitude of the person who served me. Terrible.

November 2nd at 10:40 a.m. I placed my order, and it's already 11:47 a.m. and they still haven't delivered it. I was supposed to eat here, so I had to complain. All I see is that they're serving more people and my order isn't ready. They took my receipt and still haven't given it to me. It's unacceptable. And there's not even a number to complain about it.

Terrible! I just placed an order and it arrived incomplete. Two small containers of salsa that look like leftovers, one with less than a finger's width of green water and the other half full. I ordered and paid for half a liter of salsa and they sent me a quarter of a liter!

Terrible service. I went to pay by card and the woman who attended the service despotically said that there was no card payment. I told her that they should have one and she said that it was broken, so she would let customers know so they don't act like me. In my opinion, they should have more than one terminal, one last thing at this branch.

I placed my order through didi at HEB Escobedo, the order arrived incomplete because they captured it incorrectly & they didn't want to resolve anything for me, the charge was made to my card & they made me go pick up the order at the branch & the manager at the door was super rude & arrogant, with terrible service, she didn't want to give me my order that was already paid for.

I don't like them anymore, they lack flavor, the fat dough is very dry and the stews are bland, they don't taste the same anymore, I don't know what happened to them, they used to be delicious but that was a long time ago.
