I tried the Parma pizza at Eataly in Genoa: it was good, but honestly, I expected something more impressive given the reputation of the place. The ingredients are clearly high quality: the Parma ham is flavorful and properly aged, the mozzarella is creamy, and the crust is light and crisp, just as you'd expect from a proper pizza al tagliere. Still, the overall combination felt a bit too safe. It lacked that extra touch or twist that would make it truly stand out: maybe something fresher or more aromatic to elevate the flavors. It’s the kind of pizza that’s solid and well-made, but not particularly memorable. All in all, a good experience, but I walked in with higher expectations.

A nice place to have a great meal by the port. We tried lots of dishes and they were fresh and tasty. They have a kids menu which is not very common in restaurants here. I didn't like the fact that we need to walk all around the store to go to the restaurant, it also doesn't look/feel authentic, but the food and service was really good.

Definitely a place to enjoy a decent meal. We stayed in Genova two nights and ate each night our dinner there. Food was great both evening. Lovely atmosphere and view overlooking the marina. Food is usually expensive in Italy so can’t complain.

Fun and great products. Restaurants. Toilets. Fun location. BUT DO NOT BUY the chocolate. They leave it on the hottest facing wall in the sun. I work in chocolate and heat destroys the temper of chocolate. It makes the coco butter crystals fall out of temper and bloom. Look at my photos. You see the white all over the bar? Chocolate shouldn’t look like that. It should be dark and shiny. I knew it would be bloomed but I really wanted to try Domori as you can’t get it in England so I bought it and , yes. All out of temper. Crunchy. Bloomed. Sad . Italian chocolate makers and customers deserve better. Chocolate does not belong in the sun. The restaurant was OK. The salads are large and gorgeous. My spaghetti seemed like it had a little bit of sugar in it and it was a thick sauce, which was disappointing, but the salads are absolutely gorgeous. Fun place just careless on somethings.

Food and drinks were good! The view is worth going up for (you can still do it w/o buying anything). The place layout is a bit chaotic and because we had no reservations we had to wait half and hour which was ok, but the hostess struggled with doing everything on her own and being polite - not one smile or corteous welcome. Overall the other staff was good. Prices are higher than the average restaurant in the area.

A good destination for a casual meal or even only for drinks after visiting aquarium of genova. The space is not big but you can enjoy high quality grocery shopping. I tried pizza and pasta dishes here and the staffs were very very friendly and helpful to decide what to order. You will have a nice view through the window if the weather is nice.

Wanted vegan apperativo by the bay and we got that. One would think for such a global brand, that Eataly would clearly marked their vegan options, but not. Neverthess, we had a decent tomato salad and hummus board. Nothing special unfortunately. It was fresh enough and was a good stop gap before dinner.

I've now been to 3 different Eataly's and this place was the most modest. I was very pleased to find Eataly by chance very close to where we parked. This place seems to be a franchise. Foodcwas cold,

The food here is good, but pricy. Be prepared, they charged us for THE SEATS 2€ extra per person. It seems weird and not worth it at all. It’s better to go to the city centre, there are plenty of different nice places to eat (which we discovered afterwards). If you go here for the view, do so at lunch, you would see the city and the port. BUT only if you are seated in the right place. We didn’t like the view in the evening. I wouldn’t go there again. If you badly want to see the view, use an observation deck nearby. On the one side of the restaurant stuff was extremely polite, on the other they were not completely rude, but made us feel uncomfortable.

I had a pre dinner drink nearby to escape the rain as the restaurant opened later. The sea food pasta was lovely but the fish cake I think was supposed to be served on a plate as they had forgotten my mayonnaise unfortunately. Tasty all the same with wonderful views. Clearly it is a very popular place but a little more expensive than some.

Arrived after peak hour (a party of 5). Nevertheless, we had to wait for 20 minutes to get a table. Then after another 25 minutes nobody had shown up to take our order (not even the drinks). The waiters just look through you as if you were transparent (while less half of the tables were occupied). Totally unprofessional. We left without eating.

The worst pasta I have ever had in Italy! If you are traveling and had Eataly before and think is good, re-evaluate this location because it was awful. First vibe break was absence of English menus in an international restaurant that exists in US aka has English menus. Second was the discrimination of the waitress of us because we asked what comes on the food. She started at us like we asked her if pasta is made out of carrots? I had to name cheeses and toppings to get her to answer at all. The food arrived, I ordered the parmesano pasta that tasted like they added about half a cup of salt on top of the salty cheese. The food was very undercooked and dry as well. My partner got a pizza, same one as people next to us were eating, it had almost no sauce or cheese on it and was soggy as a day old dominos. All in all, awful and overpriced food with discriminatory service. The view wasn’t worth it. Skip this place if you are in Genova. Btw the bread they give you is raw as well, absolutely disgusting experience!
