Deep Blue at Kitty Knight

We celebrated our wedding at Deep Blue at Kitty Knight and I am still blown away by the service provided, especially from Event Manager Tiffany! For 10 months during planning, Tiffany was so responsive and helpful via email on every single detail of the wedding. Come day off, the staff nailed the decorations, dinner, bartending and more! We simply could not be happier with the flawless execution of our celebration! Thank you so so much Deep Blue and Tiffany!!!

Venue: Deep Blue at Kitty Knight - @deepblueatkittyknight Our venue was the perfect location with water views, indoor and outdoor options, and a chill atmosphere. The food options were aplenty and our main menu items of Brisket, Salmon, and Hot Honey Chicken were a hit! I even had a guest ask if they could take some home with them. We loved how we chose our His and Her bar drinks and our Georgia Peach and Coconut Mojito were on point. The staff from Tiffany, our planner, to our bartenders, the servers, and more were so helpful at every turn. If it looked like we needed anything they were immediately checking in on us. It was amazing to see even the folks working the outside deck willing to jump in and just be there to help us celebrate too. Did I mention the after party on the deck? The bartenders were keeping all of our guests happy and entertained too! 10/10 Coordinator at Deep Blue: Tiffany Abruzzo - From the moment we toured the Kitty Knight we knew it was meant I be for us. Tiffany made the location feel like home for us. Any call, text or email was handled with care and we are so lucky to have had her be there with us. She truly felt like a part of the family making sure everything went just right. Even when she brought us some extra w blankets to our room after hours the night before the wedding. What a joy to work with! 10/10 Accommodations: The Kitty Knight Inn - @deepblueatkittyknight The Kitty Knight Inn offers great views, history throughout the inn, and each room is unique. I wanted to take a look at each room, but had the chance to see inside 4 of the 11 rooms. We sold the place out and all of our guests loved being able to stay on location. 10/10

We stayed at the inn for 3 nights and ate at the restaurant 2 nights in a row! We've been coming here for about 4 years. Spectacular views and sunsets! Crab cake was delicious🦀

One of the most beautiful spots on the water. The Kitty Knight house overlooks the Sassafras River and the sunsets are spectacular! Always friendly service and the food is awesome. Come out and enjoy!

What a great place to enjoy a delicious dinner with a great view and wonderful serving staff. I had the burger with Gouda cheese and jam! Best burger in a while. My friend had the honey mustard chicken And it was cooked perfectly, juicy, moist and just enough sweetness. We were lucky to have Bella to wait on us tonight. She was very accommodating and talk about service with a smile!! Her busboy was a delight and so was the hostess.

Deep Blue catered my daughter's Bridal Shower Brunch at Broken Spoke Winery. The food was delicious and Tiffany was helpful and easy to work with. I would recommend Deep Blue Catering for any special event. My guests and I were very pleased.

Cannot explain what an amazing experience my wife I had. The food was great, view amazing and our server Mackenzi couldn’t been better!! She was very friendly and attentive.

Food here is excellent. Prices are what you expect from a venue with this kind of view and location. Crab did was good! The only disappointment was they brought out oysters that weren’t labeled or explained so I’m not sure where they were from

All my husband wanted for his thirtieth birthday was to go out on a date with me - we hadn't been out on a date since March 7, 2020, before the world shut down. I'm so glad that I found Deep Blue at Kitty Knight to celebrate his milestone birthday! We had such wonderful service that were very accommodating of my allergies - I am allergic to gluten and pork, so eating out can be difficult. Shout-out to Larry and the kitchen staff for making sure I could be safe and relax while chilling out with my husband! We ate in the dining room away from the bar and could hear each other very well; there wasn't necessarily anything too loud or distracting going on. Portion size is excellent; we were both so stuffed that dessert was out of the question! I'm so grateful we got to spend an hour at Deep Blue!

Riley was are server and she was great. We had a large party and she kept everything moving along. Food was served in a timely manner and very good.

It was a wonderful night. It was supposed to be mostly on the deck but there were terrible storms. Tiffany and Jaymi with there crew turned on a dime to make the inside work. It turned out great..Thank you all for a great event👍

Clean, classy and nautical inviroment. All courses were delicious and all comments from quests was impressive. Service crew was polo and professional. Great job!

We ate in the Tavern. Food was delicious. Tavern is quaint and very well maintained.

Absolutely spectacular experience. The chocolate lava cake was divine, and our server Tessa was entertaining through and through, cracking jokes throughout dinner.

We had Deep Blue Cater our at home wedding and they did an amazing job! Not only were they professional but they also helped us out in a pinch. The food was amazing and everyone was raving about it. Highly recommend!

Deep Blue at Kitty Knight was the best meal i’ve had in months. I got the chicken sandwich with the hot honey, and I honestly wish I had gotten a second for later. The chicken was juicy, the slaw a perfect cut to the bite, and the honey rounded it all for a mouth watering meal. The fries were great too! What really made the night, however, was the service. Tessa, was my server and I couldn’t give her enough praise if i tried. She was friendly, attentive, and hilarious. The water was never empty, and the laughter was never ending. The atmosphere when you walk in is welcoming and lively. I will DEFINITELY be coming back to Deep Blue at Kitty Knight!

One of the best views you can find at a restaurant. The food was excellent and came out quickly. Enjoyed the drinks too. The best part of our experience was our server Riley. She was so sweet and helpful. She was great at making food recommendations that we all loved. She was always checking on us and really made our experience exceptional.

Our waitress, Riley, did a great job serving our table of 15 people. She was very attentive and it was no trouble for her to separate our bills. All the food was good and came around the same time.

What’s not to love! The restaurant location lends itself to beautiful sunsets and welcoming atmosphere. Our service was top notch, everyone was friendly and professional. The food and drinks were fabulous. I had the crab bisque which was out of this world, with plenty of Crab meat. For my entree I had the butternut squash salad, and topped it with blackened salmon. It paired wonderfully! Too full for dessert, but on the list for next visit, because the dessert menu looks yummy. We drove a little over an hour, and it was well worth it. Can hardly wait to go back!

My friend's and I have had the privilege of Maya serving us several times in the past and again last night. She makes the best recommendations, knows the menu and drinks well and always has a smile on her face. The atmosphere is beautiful outside on the deck, our food was delicious and Maya just adds that touch to make it an extra special experience.

Need to do something about the flies and more shade. But the food was excellent and our server Maya was so nice. A very pleasant attitude and a lot of fun. Will definitely come back and ask for her.

We had a wonderful early birthday dinner last night with Mackenzi! She was very communicative and patient as we tried to hold out on the deck in hopes the rain wouldn’t hit us. When it inevitably did, she got us moved right inside and made sure my partner’s birthday was celebrated with delicious crème brûlée cheesecake, candle, and even wrote him a birthday card! We loved our steak sandwich and seared tuna, so much so we scraped our plates clean. Excellent first visit and we can’t wait to come back!

Hosted my baby shower for 14 at Deep Blue this past weekend and can't say enough positive things about the staff. Not only did they help carry in all our decorations, they waited on everyone in a kind and timely fashion. I would host a private event here again!

First time at Deep Blue at Kitty Night and I will definitely be returning. Food was excellent and the atmosphere is fun. Had a friendly, bubbly waitress, Maya, who was welcoming and made a great dinner recommendation. If your looking for a date night this is the place to go.

Elayna was our server and she was delightful. She willingly gave us her thoughts on menu options we were deciding on, gave us time to think about what we wanted to order, happily checked with the kitchen on some gluten free questions we had, and thoughtfully asked us throughout our stay if we had everything we needed and if everything was meeting our expectations. Everything we ordered was delicious!

This restaurant was surprisingly good. The menu appears casual - like a fancier beach restaurant - but don't let that fool you. The food is upscale and delicious. We started with the fried brussel sprouts and peach bruschetta special, both were devine. The brussel was a huge portion. Then then main was the soft shell crab special over mustard corn which was incredible. Piping hot, salty and crunchy, and well balanced with the corn. We loved it. The only downside was the desserts, despite other reviews saying they were great, we didn't love either the cheesecake (too mushy and not enough flavor) nor the pretzel bread pudding (sorry week on flavor, and the pretzel ice cream tasted like lemons, was a miss). But service was great, patio was huge with a great view and sunset. Very happy.

Riley was a phenomenal waitress from beginning to end, she provided stellar care. A friend in our group had never been to Kitty Knight House before. And she had the opportunity to take a tour of the building. So much history in that property. We loved out visit and hope to be back soon!

We celebrated the marriages of our daughter and son-in-law who were married 2 months ago and our parents who celebrated 55 years of marriage. We had 50 people at the reception and the Deep Blue was exactly what we had hoped for. The food was absolutely fantastic, the staff anticipated needs and were very acoomodating for a last minute change on the beverages. Highly recommend for your next family celebration.

The atmosphere was lovely and the view unparalleled! Our waitress Tess was a darling who took care of us efficiently and made us laugh. I highly recommend the rockfish with house made creamed corn. We stayed overnight at the Inn. Comfortable bed and pillows. Good shower. You can’t go wrong here!

Recently held a private event party here and it was spectacular! All the guests had a wonderful time. Kristina was very helpful with coordinating the party and Larry the bartender did a phenomenal job. Thank you for the great service and we will definitely be back for more fun!

Most of the meals we had were good, like the crabcake sandwich. Sweet tea was undrinkably sweet. Can't beat the view, indoors was beautiful too. Hopefully the new staffers will get up to speed soon.

We went for the Mother's Day brunch and though most of the food was pretty good. They ran out of crab bisque which was one of the best offering the salmon and Mac and cheese was dry and they struggled to keep up with refills of crab cakes, shrimp and oysters in particular. Service was just very slow and food not quite as good as it should have been for $50.

We sat on the deck on a late summer's evening to enjoy the late afternoon sun. Sitting on the deck is wonderful. We both had burgers which were okay - not the best, but not the worst that we have had. The fries were excellent, though. Service was a little slow, but we didn't care since we were enjoying the beautiful evening. Go here to sit on the deck and enjoy drinks and pub fare. We will probably go back in the colder months to check out the higher end entrees.

My experience didn't start off great. I had ordered the Tuscan salad with blackened steak. My salad was missing literally half of the ingredients and had to ask for it to be corrected twice. I wasn't mad, but not thrilled either by having a $28.00 salad overlooked like that.. It was absolutely fabulous once it was corrected. The server was wonderful. Apparently told the manager what had happened and comped my meal ( which wasn't necessary, so for that thank you Deep Blue ). I tipped accordingly to the original bill. I will definitely be going back. So overall wonderful!

Location and food were excellent, only to be marred by very poor wait staff. Our waiter took forever to bring our drinks, seemed not to understand that appetizers come before the main course, and overall seemed neglectful. We chalked much of these failings up to inexperience and summer help, but the limitations did have a negative impact on our overall experience. But should say again, food was excellent, perfectly prepared. We will go again hoping for better service next time.

It was my first time eating here. I am a regular customer at their sister restaurant (Tonic) and figured it would be just as good here, but I was wrong. I will start off by saying the lobster bisque was delicious, and the crab bisque was okay, but the rest of my order was a disappointment. The scallops were rubbery and had weird pungent taste, the crab cakes were cold, and the shrimp scampi was almost like a soup because it was in so much liquid.

Honestly went here very hopeful. There were no staff to sit us and we had to walk around the restaurant and seat ourselves. I was very disappointed in the sandwich I had which was the steak and cheddar it meat was over cooked, cheese unmelted and the onions were undercooked. Fries were phenomenal but other than that underwhelming. The restaurant was clearly understaffed, but they did address our concern and take my meal off our bill which was appreciated. Not sure if I’d want to make the trek out again.

Ambience was great! Service was extremely slow. Server was nice though. Food presentation was also good. I ordered the fried beans for appetizer and braised beef with mashed potato. The beans and the sauce were good but cold. They could have been great if served hot. The mashed potato was slightly warm but the beef was cold. Husband ordered the lobster soup and well-done burger. The soup was cold and the burger was burnt. We informed the server about the soup and offered to come back with a warm one. We did say no because we waited for a long time to get our appetizer and soup out (and maybe it has been sitting out there waiting to be served), and no guarantee we will have to wait again for another 30. We just hoped our entrees will be good. My braised beef was "tolerable" but the burger was not. There is a difference between well done and burnt, not to mention it wasnt served hot either nor the fries. Hubby didnt get to eat half of the burger. And the bad news, hubby was sick all night. Not coming back nor will recommend to family and friends. It was a wedding anniversary meal to remember for sure.
