Cosy place with both indoor and outdoor serving. The staff is very helpful and tried their best to serve us a hot vegetarian meal even if the kitchen was said to be closed. They also have gorgeous cakes! (But not milk free or gluten-free).

Last-minute breakfast, a pastry shop with a variety of pastries, though the brioches are a bit less so, but excellent. Plenty of outdoor seating. Located in the center of Giaveno, where it's usually very busy.

I can't tell you whether or not this is the best place to eat breakfast in Giaveno. However, it's right in the center, nice inside and spacious outside. There's a wide selection of sweet treats: brioches, croissants, Veneziane, tarts, and biscuits. Not the best I've ever had, but not inedible either. The service is friendly and quick. A good bar.

We were passing through in our campervan and stopped in this charming village. We happened upon this café, where a very talented band was playing excellent music. We just stopped outside to listen to the music. Paying €10 for a drink in a simple, unremarkable bar seemed excessive. We were thinking of stopping for the fair, but we continued on our itinerary. It's a small village that can be explored in just a few minutes. We wish we could give it five stars just for the pleasant music, but there's no such thing as a double rating.

Located in the center of Giaveno, quite quiet during the week. Nice and welcoming, but 2 stars because I think charging €4 for half a hot chocolate ("half" because it was in a small cup) is excessive.

THE BARTENDER'S BEHAVIOR IS SHAMEFUL. I came in for a hot chocolate with my family and went to the counter for a small plate of pastries. The waitress asked the bartender if the chocolate was dark, as my partner had requested. The bartender replied, "Our chocolate is dark. Tell him not to bother." Shocked by the response I gave to the waitress, who was otherwise kind, I canceled the order and left, telling the bartender that people who bother go away. I'm sorry I couldn't write the exact words the bartender said. Google is blocking my review.
