Best value food in Gibraltar, we went here for both lunch and dinner, we ordered about 12 ration sized dishes along with drinks and it was still cheaper than little bay

Excellent. Food quality high and there it is always consistent. In my opinion best tapas place in Gib.

We are here now in food heaven. For all foodies and non foodies give it a visit. Delicious isnt a bigger enough word for the food and wine wd've just enjoyed. Spanish tapas heaven and more

Perfect tapas. Lots and lots to choose from and everything we ordered was wonderful. Great selection of both hot and cold tapas, some dishes are available as larger 1/2 or full plates too. Reasonable prices and top food. A must go to place

Muy Rico! Found the area by recommendation, then came across this little gem. Authentic Spanish food and drink. The waiter didn’t speak too much English which was a good sign. Luckily I conversed enough in Spanish to get a great selection of randomly chosen dishes which were all very tasty! We tried a variety of foods and didn’t dislike any of it! Definitely recommend the pulpo (octopus).

El servicio fue excelente! Y la comida de muy buena calidad ( las croquetas de jamón buenísimas!!! ). Los canapés son contundentes. Sin duda cada vez que visitemos Gibraltar será nuestra lugar de referencia! Iván fue muy amable y comimos de 10!

En el mes de febrero hemos ido 2 veces y nos lamentamos de no haberlo conocido antes .. la comida fabulosa y el servicio buenísimo camarer@s atent@s y serviciales .. el ambiente muy bueno .. este último fin de semana no hemos ido porque estaba todo reservado .. si te gusta el pulpo encebollado pidelo

This parade of bars/restaurants is a real hidden gem in Gib and La Tapilla Sixtina was one of the most popular when we went. We went for a date night and went through a fair few tapas dishes. All were excellent (the only slight disappointment was the chorizo, which was just cold slices rather than fried chunks that we were hoping for - but it was still tasty). Personal favourites were the secreto (thinly sliced fried pork served with chips) and gambones al pil pil (prawns in a special garlic and chilli oil perfect for dipping some bread). Great vibes on this stretch thanks to it being pedestrianised and the bars spilling out onto the street. We ate a decent meal for two with three drinks each (tinto de verano and house red which was very drinkable) for £60. Had been wanting to check out this stretch for a while and was not disappointed, would definitely go again, either to the same place or to try another just for variety. Recommend booking in advance, we got lucky in that we asked when we arrived and they made up an extra table. Though that reminds me, staff we great!

La Tapilla Sixtina is an absolute gem in Gibraltar. From start to finish, everything was exceptional. The food was simply amazing—each dish was packed with flavour and beautifully presented. Nice place for an excellent tapas lunch in Gib.

We had a delicious lunch on the patio. All the dishes were great, but the octopus was outstanding.

Went for lunch here this week, on the hottest day at that point! Was lovely sitting outside, under the awning, the atmosphere was casual and relaxed. The food was delicious, my favourite was the octopus in lemon! So tender and soft. The gambas pil pil was delicious, and I think we definitely would have eaten more had there been more prawns! And we had our usual Alhambra Reserva to complete the meal. There is an extensive menu, so we need to come back and try more things!

Traditional tapas place, up near Casemates. Good staff, and really great local tapas. The octopus salad was excellent, as was the wine selection.

Came for tapas and good wine, left in a state of bliss. Amazing food and wine. Spanish speaking staff however so if your Spanish is bad, or nonexistent like mine, expect some frowns.

Tras un par de visitas salgo muy contento del este restaurante. Tiene una gran variedad de platos para comer o picar algo, variedad de cervezas de calidad y un personal atento y amable. Además, los precios son bastante asequibles y la comida está muy rica. Tienen interior y exterior, suele estar concurrido. Muy recomendable.

Great location for tapas, recommended if you want good food at a decent price, very accommodating too.

Great menu that spells out different portion sizes. Good service and reasonably priced. Tapa small but like a trasting menu. Cheese, meatballs, chorizo, crab and salmon canapés great. Shrimp tortilla just didn't work - small shrimps lost in a batter disk - shrimps are a delicate product and they were overwhelmed.

Fui en abril y me encantó. Ahora en julio volví a Gibraltar y volví a comer. Los camareros son encantadores y la comida fantástica. Te atienden maravillosamente bien. Merece la pena ir allí a comer o cenar.

Full portions e.g. Secreto Iberio served with large portion of French fries. Why? The actual full portion of Secreto Iberico wasn't even like a 1/2 portion you would get across the border. Pinchitos are also very small portion. Would have to think twice returning here. By 22:00 staff appears to be in a rush to clean up & close.

Such rude staff and probably worst experience. I don’t know if it’s me but the Spanish that work in Gibraltar really don’t want to be here. It was like pulling tooth with the staff, I felt like they were acting out scene from Les Misérables more dramatically. Food was average at best, STOP serving everything with chip….if I wanted that I would dine at a American restaurant. Would give this a -10 if I could!!

Have eaten here twice now. Very disappointed with the second time, we ordered Gambas Pil Pil and the prawns were bad. Distinct smell of ammonia from them and tasted awful. Flies began swarming as soon as the plate was on the table. Very disappointing as the first time we ate here everything was excellent. Spoke with the waiter who said the chef said they were fine! I don't like leaving bad reviews for an otherwise excellent meal but the way this was dealt with was very bad.
