I went thru the drive thru line...Hamburger was delicious fries were freshly made.. but you all need to clean that fountain drink machine Sprite tastes like mold horrible taste I had to throw it away... there must be slime in the ice machine ..ohhh also no napkins..
Good place! Friendly, polite and caring service, accurate order delivered fast. The place is very clean, the bathroom is "sparkling clean" and well scented.
This location has the best muffins! They are light and tender and go great with sausage. Every other location I've ever gone to had tough, chewy muffins. The woman who takes the orders is always there when I visit and she's a delight! Great location!
They have been on it lately. There is this one lady there and she is amazing. When she is there I know I’ll get what I wanted and it be right cooked amazing. I don’t think she is a manager but she deserves so much. I am definitely tipping her next time I see her. She is making this towns horrible fast food thing a thing of the past.
We just stopped there today on the way home from Kalahari and the service was amazing and the employees were extremely friendly. Our car didn't start after we ate dinner there and we had to wait for a tow truck. They kept checking in on us and were the nicest people. We did not have any problem with the food either. I rarely write reviews but had to write about this mcdonalds. If we ever go to kalahari again we will stop by here to support them. The female manager was very nice too. I did not get her name and wished I did. If you are the owner she worked the night of June 9th..

The older man with white hair in glasses in the front register is the sweetest man we have ever met. This man needs a promotion. He made our day!

I had a huge order today and the lady at the drive through was super friendly and was on point with her customer service. She told me it was one of her first days and she was dealing with the rush so gracefully that I had to hop on here and give her a good review. They had mixed up my order at first. She was super quick to fix everything. I wish I had gotten her name so I could give her recognition, but she had dark hair and excellent customer service skills. Will definitely be swinging through again!
My experience at the McDonald's in Giddings was awesome. if you notice I may have put a picture there about the furniture. I couldn't believe how beautiful it was it's o However it had like a little zebra like Print and the furniture all over the store was awesome. The customer service was great! the layout was different but I loved it. In Giddings Texas awesome!

We stopped for breakfast while driving back to H-Town. Kim was so nice with a wonderful bubbly personality, she even bought our food over to us with a big smile. McDonald's needs to give her a pay raise for being so lovely. Thanks Kim!!
I go through this drive through a lot but I finally went inside today. I was surprised by how high-tech it was! You order on these electronic screens and you can pay there or at the counter. There was even a glowing table and a tabletop game system for kids. The orders could be filled more quickly, but the workers are friendly.
I visit at least 5 days a week. most staff are very nice. Beware the senior pricing on drinks keep going up as well as everything else. each location is different in the senior pricing also.
We just missed breakfast. Had a spicy chicken sandwich and fries. It was good. But the soda machine needs to be adjusted. The drinks were weak
The person in front of us was placing individual orders for about 10 people so it was a long wait just to order. I just wanted water for a drink so the cashier said it wasn't available at the soda dispenser but was available behind the counter. Ok, I pick up my order and there is bottled water with it. I ck my receipt and they charged me $1.39. I just wished he told me beforehand. The sandwich and fries were good.
Almost forgot my Happy Meals' apple juice until I asked. Fries were terrible (oily and soggy) at the time of my purchase. McFlurry was okay.
Great customer service. Employees are incredibly kind. Their food was delicious and hot just how I like it. Only down side would be the terrible smell inside the restaurant, smells like a nursing home.

We know McDonald's food quality is the worst, BUT the food ordered is how it's presented on the menu. I typically get the steak, egg and cheese bagels. But I have received some with our egg on it so now I have to check every time. 🙂

Order burgers, nuggets, fries and drinks. There are no ketchups on my order. Sauce for nuggets are different from what I ordered. Four pound beef burger is a bit salty than other burgers in McDonald’s. Overall, it’s an ok store but try to make sure what you order and what you get.
It's Mcdonalds, they vary this one could use help with order guy on duty. Order delivery lady was pleasant.
Ordered Latte and French fries. Latte machine was under cleaning cycle, which is a common problem across McD and it took additional 20 mins. Staff was very courteous and professional. French fries tasted bitter, though it was hot and fresh (tasted like the oil was old and burnt).
Food was hot and fresh. Took a bit to get our order, but it was delicious. Only bad thing is the dining area was not kept clean. Tables needed to be cleaned. Drink station was a mess. One machine didn't even have ice. It would have been an easy 4 stars had it not been for the dining mess, but food was spot on.
Went thru drive thru, the order taker immediately said what do you want. No greeting or anything. Then as we tried to order kept asking is that it which we replied no. He said OK and gave us our total anyways and wouldn't come back on Went inside and ordered instead. That guy was great thankfully!!
I ordered a McMuffin with no Canadian bacon on it. Not only did they add the Canadian bacon, they didn’t add cheese. I don’t even know how those two things can be mixed up. It wasn’t even busy when I pulled up. I had to put my own cheese on it and it wasn’t the same. The only good thing was that it was ready right after I ordered it so that I didn’t have to wait long
Employees are rude and complain about who job it is to make a icecream cone. Stopped thru on a mini road trip and hate I did. Service sucks!

Nice and clean Loved the self serve menu but that is where the low score comes from. I never recieved a receipt and the display didn't give me a ticket number. When a cook came from the back to help me she was aware of the receipt paper being out and said her manager hasn't fixed it yet. I needed a receipt for business. 20 minutes later I had a receipt. It seems like if the McDonald's isn't inside Walmart the customer isn't that important. I tried the new wraps. It was okay but if served hot might have been good. I tossed it out
My sandwich is always messy. Tomato’s always in the wrapper, not on the sandwich. Fries are stale, food was messed up once, they took my sandwich back and added ketchup and gave it back to me. Not sure how many bare hands touched my food. The staff is young, one guy is always in a bad mood. I was offered to have my messed up order fixed. I just never went back and got it fixed. I’ve worked fast food before, it’s not hard to stack lettuce tomato on TOP of a patty. Slow down, and focus on quality please. Edited: today I was welcomed and greeted by Keneiasha. She asked me what I was ordering and if I had any recent issues with my orders. Keneisha then gave me a drink complimentary, to combat the issues I had with my previous orders. She was nice , respectful, and has a big smile. Always glad to see her in the mornings. She definitely is one of the best McDonald’s customers I’ve ran into in a long time.
They charged me 89 cents for 2 slices of a Roma tomato! I can buy a Roma tomato for 20 cents retail at the grocery store so McDonalds can probably buy 1 for less than 10 cents. They can get 6 slices …

No, attention to detail. A clump of mayo on one side, squishing out of the bun on the wrapper. My wife's comment was, "I think this is the worst cheeseburger I've ever gotten." It was just old and nasty meat. Service at this location is always slow. Atmosphere was great, I love my car.

My husband had to correct her again on his order for the third time. When she gave us the change she slammed the window shut hard. We have 2 big macs one with extra pickles one with no pickles. The milkshake machine was broken and we had to order the vanilla cone, which was way overpriced. The server could not even fill the cones, had to get someone else to fill the cones. Next time I am going to Dairy Queen ... their ice cream is 100x better than McDonald's.
I had to walk in to purchase my drink that I thought was on my order. Apparently, I wasn't clear enough on my order even thought employee asked if I wanted a drink to go with second meal. Order took 23 min to be completed and there was only one other car parked in line. Food was good. Service was slow, there was only 4 people in the dining room so I don't think it was too busy to get food orders done in a timely matter.
Had a mobile order and clearly stated what sauces we wanted but when we received or order no sauces. Also the fries were not salted and the Dr Pepper was watered down. At the end of the interaction my partner said excuse me 3 times to the employee with no response at all when he was standing at the window with it opened.
They upcharged our drinks without asking, and then after we told them to downsize it turns out they have difference sizes for orange juice than other drinks; the medium orange juice is in a small soda cup. Imagine being charged for a large soda and getting a small cup just because you were foolish enough to get Orange Juice. Will not be back.
Food is always stake tasting, frie boxes are half full, we never receive our sauce that we pay extra for. drinks are not full. Always 1-2 inches from top. Very little ice.
Needs customer service quick! Orders take forever. It took 30 minutes to get some chicken budgets and two burgers, it was so slow, it was easier to go to whataburger next door and comeback, and our order was still not done. Whataburger has always been super slow, but this McDonald's was even slower,so that says a lot. The bathrooms were completely disgusting and seemed like they hadn't been checked in days. There was ketchup all over the soda counter, and most of the tables were dirty, I had to clean mine twice just to be able to eat in a semi decent place. We were not happy with our order at all, and was really disappointed with this McDonald's.

Every time I order here, something is wrong. Something is usually missing on my burger, the fries are always cold and soggy, and today the cookies were refrigerated and not heated up when I received them.

Avoid this location (especially if you rely on them for breakfast) or to deliver customer service. The only reason we wanted stop by this McDonalds location is because it was on the way as we embarked on a monthly outdoor trip. They are supposed to be open at 6 a.m., but we were waited patiently at their drive thru waiting for them to open. After waiting for some time, it got to be around 6:10 a.m. and we swung around to check if anybody was working inside. They only had one male, Hispanic looking worker that got to to restaurant around 5:45 a.m. He was only one inside and ignoring all customers. I even checked to see if I could walk into the lobby, but the doors were closed and he ignored me as I politely knocked on glass. There was at least 4 other cars that we noticed who tried to order from the drive thru, that drove off since they weren't truly open for business at 6 a.m. This McDonalds clearly does not adhere to their restaurant hours and does not care to provide an excellent experience to their customers. I will be reporting the manager (whose supposed to be responsible for operations) to McDonalds corporate. Hope to see this place improve!
I am currently in the drive through and it is so slow. I placed a mobile order to be picked up in the store. The doors are locked with no sign on the door. We will wait and see if I get the right food. Also no way they need $15 an hour. Just do your job. Well got to the speaker and told them what was up and they said to pull around and they will bring it out. Walked to the door knocked and a guy told me no. Then the manager said the bag of food was for me. So I got a bag of cold food because it sat so long. To take home and refry so we can eat it warm. This is prolly the worst experience I have had here yet. Something needs to be done about the service.
The store manager is an incompetent buffoon who isn't capable of a managing a roll of armadillos if his life depended on it. Makes idle threats to do things he can't figure out how to do or just flat out refuses to follow through with, due to his incompetency and obvious lack of intellect. The only reason this location is even still open is due to it being the only location in town & people are addicted to McDonalds products like free basers are to crack, disrespectfully.

New Review on 9/19/24: another bad experience. They were out of frozen drinks which isn't a big deal, but when asked for a refund, I was told they don't do refunds on mobile orders. They then got an attitude with me and told me to pull up. After waiting 5 minutes, I got food but no drinks. I asked where my drinks were and got more attitude. Guessing my expectations are just too high. We couldnt hear our number being called because we were behind a wall with a child. When asked about our order, the man behind the counter made a face and walked away to take someone's order. I then asked the manager for assistance and was met with a huge attitude. He was arguing with me and was NOT professional at all. When we went to leave, he had the nerve to give me a dirty look and start talking to employees about me. Not sure what happened to customer service since I worked there many years ago, but the service is slow and customer service is horrible. I'd rather go anywhere else.

Got there a few minutes before closing, and after they asked if we'd use the app, they stopped responding to us on the speaker! We pulled up to both the windows, and all the workers hid from us. We could hear them talking inside so they were obviously there. What's the point of being open until midnight if your workers won't provide appropriate service???
I purchased food a the gut at the window kept handing other peoples food. which is be dry unsanitary! Then on top of that they for some of my food. Don’t recommend stopping here.
The service here is terrible..told I could not purchase a sr coffee because I am not a senior. My mother is a senior and at home so not understanding why these people Are so rude. Cannot find information for manager or general manager to make a complaint. Do not stop and give this McDonald’s your business, they don’t deserve it due to terrible customer service!! They always forget about mobile orders at the curbside spot!! I've waited at the curbside spot multiple times for at least 15-30 minutes each time. Sometimes I've even left without my food. Multiple times, i've gone through the drive through and they've asked me to pull forward, making me wait for up to 15 min. Also, at this point, I think they owe me at least a dozen cookies, because they always forget to give them to me when i order less than a tote :(
Drive thru during lunch rush.. the whole order was wrong and missing items. Does not handle a rush well or packed lines. The employees were kind though.

The only good thing I have to say about this place was that the sweetheart of a lady with a beautiful soul that I paid at the window for my food was so polite and nice. Now, I had parts of my order missing and wrong. I was confused considering the sweet lady read my order back correctly at the window. So I parked and walked into the building with my hands full to get my order fixed and was told to put my mask on (which I did immediately once I set everything I had down) fixed my order BUT the guy that told me to put my mask on kept staring me down the rest of the time I was there like I was a criminal until I walked out the door. I never caused a single issue and was treated so poorly by this employee.
When they got our order wrong we politely asked for our actual meal they started to give attitude and it took forever to get the food we were waiting 45 minuets!

Worked a long difficult day. I got to giddings McDonald's about 8:50 pm. I ordered a chicken nugget combo large and a fila-O-fish. First the fish patty was old the bun was NOT STEAMED which blew my mind first time for that to happen. Second my fry were not even close to hot they were NOT warm they were a half degree above cold. The nuggets were old hard and like my frys the were just above cold. Room temperature is almost where they were. Why why why AM I BUYING $15.35 IN FOOD FROM MCDONALD'S AND THEY TREAT US LIKE THIS!!! IM COMPLETELY DISGUSTED WITH THIS FOOD ANDVTHE DISRESPECT THEY SHOWED ME TODAY WITH OLD COLD FOOD.
This is the worst food establishment I have ever been to. The employees were horrible. When we walked in they stared at us and openly complained about us walking in several hours before they closed. There was then an altercation where both sides were cursing at each other. The girl that was wearing a long skirt was the main instigator. This is the worst place I have ever been to and it needs some major reconstruction. That lady needs to be fired. 0-10 this place is horrible.

Ordered through the app. Got a 20ct nugget with a basket of fries, but the fries had almost zero salt on them. Also got a burger without cheese only to find it had cheese on it, which my kids refuse to eat.
There were over 10 cars in the drive through Lanes and they were closed we realize that 30 minutes later after waiting. Play drive through had a automated response asking if you were using your McDonald's app giving the false impression that they were open.

Stopped to get a bite to eat placed my order for 2 quarter pounder meals. I paid received the receipt and explained to the white male that i didn't want a big mac but a quarter pounder meal. This male got upset hit the wall cussed and kicked something across the floor. A Hispanic male came to try and fix the problem and he said he would fix it and he did i got a raw burger with blood. Terrible service here first of all the front Cashier Was Just standing there talking to her friend.i got my order wrong I don’t usually complain but when i got my fries they weren’t even half way full I Dident really care but when i opened up my double cheese burger it only had one meat so I went to ask if they could just add a pice of meat no big deal but the manager started going back and forth with me like it was my fault they messed up. Acting very confrontational and just escalating the situation for no big deal. I won’t be coming back here.

Nothing worse than an ice cold cheeseburger and fries with lukewarm coffee. Just stopped for a quick pickup while on the road and was extremely disappointed. Probably, the worst place Ive eaten at in a long time. I watch as our tray sat on the shelf awaiting the purchased items. After 15 min, they gave us the tray minus one sandwich and two fries. By the time we were given the food, the sandwiches were soggy and cold. We won't be visiting here again.
Other from being flat-out rude, disrespectful, and lacking any sort of manners, these workers got our order wrong, didn't hand us our drinks, and had to come out 4 different times to ask us again what we had ordered. Zero sense of customer service, especially the manager that came out at the end. No apologies, nothing. Utter disrespect when I'm a paying customer.
the mexican lady who is supposedly “manager” was TERRIBLY RUDE! she claimed we were “hauling ass” thought the drive through while we were stopped at the first window for 10 minutes when she noticed out presence multiple times but didn’t her job. So we pulled to the next window and that’s when she slammed the window open and yelled at us. She then ran to the back and I asked another employee to have her come back to the window so I could speak to her and she refused to come back to the window. I then told the other employees that I felt terrible for them for having to work with such a miserable person. So if yall come here, be prepared to be treated like absolute trash.
Absolutely awful. We spent 10 minutes in the drive through with no response from anyone. So we went inside instead in hopes and were immediately met with the manager lady (savanna) screaming at her employees, cussing them out, and then refused to take some lady’s order and when she said she was going to speak to their manager she began to yell at that customer and curse at her. We then spent another 10 minutes waiting inside the lobby while listening to her screaming at the workers and not doing anything.and when we got our order she was still yelling and incredibly rude.
I have always been a loyal McDonald’s customer in Houston and I’ve never been treated this way before. At this location, the young man named Austin at the first window was rude and did not give us the ketchup we asked for, only cream and sugar for the coffee. Then at the second window, the lady who charged us and handed us the food scolded us, saying that anything we needed should have been requested at the first window. This was completely unnecessary and unprofessional, especially since we had already asked Austin but he didn’t give us the ketchup. Very disappointing service.
Awful....I have came to the conclusion that Giddings Tx fast food restaurants are a disgrace to other fast food.... The management is awful....there manager Carol I want to say, the older African American woman hands down rude and even mumbled under her breath that she want help me because she do not get paid enough. I think she chose this job. I would love to leave a GREAT review if it's deserved. Maybe it's the water in Giddings, I'm just going to start stopping in Brenham Tx for all my food choices when Traveling thru this way. Not worth stopping if you can wait for the next town to eat! You will thank me!
McDonald's.... There service is ridiculous and the manager some black lady Caroline or something along that name but she was so ugly rude and did care if my order was incorrect... I absolutely got no help from her how could a company have someone like her but the young Hispanic lady stepped in and listen to my concerns and help me and I was grateful but she let me know this is how she is because they want pay her "Caroline" more money, and they shouldn't they should fire her and her ugly attitude! I hope corporate receives this and take action so no one else have a bad encounter with her!
I requested table service on the app when i placed the order, as i had a large order and kids with me, so it is difficult to manage. The folks did not bother dropping to the table, or even announcing at the counter that the food is ready. We kept waiting and after 15 mins, I noticed every customer is going through some bags sitting on the counter, I did the same, and guess what that was my order. Totally not okay with everyone digging in my order, and Ofcourse did not enjoy the cold fries
The employees here are some of the rudest people I’ve ever had the displeasure of encountering. My recent drive through experience included a drive through order I had to give twice and the second time the employee was so short with me. After waiting another 15 minutes I drove up to an empty window to pay and thought cool they’re busy and drove up to a frazzled cashier who took my debit card confused and returned with a demon. This demon of an employee proceeded to yell at me like I was a roach and not a customer. She yelled that I lied that didn’t see her and I had to get back in line instead of just running my card or asking me to come inside. The lack of professionalism and decency would get her fired most places, but I guess Giddings is lucky to take what they can get for bullies who yell at customers they didn’t bother to serve. Highly recommend to anyone looking to waste their time.
Slowest service I've experienced at a McDonald's. I have ordered ahead of time multiple times and come in about 10 minutes later and sit and wait for them to serve the drive-thru customers one after another. I have waited anywhere between 15 to 25 minutes AFTER ordering 10 minutes ahead of time. If McDonald's wasn't one of the very few fast food restaurants in town, I would never order from this one.
Placed my to-go order at the kiosk to save some time. When the kiosk didn't print my receipt, I asked the lady running the cash register if she could print me one. Unfortunately she didn't know how, she then asked the manager who looked annoyed that she had to take time to do it. I then proceeded to wait my entire 30-minute lunch break to get my food and had to ask them for my cup so I could get my drink. It wasn't until I was already back on the road that I discovered I was missing 1 of my 2 McDouble sandwiches, and the one I did get looked like it was literally thrown together. The nuggets looked like someone forgot them in the fryer, and they gave me honey mustard instead of hot mustard. I honestly don't know why I keep trying to give McDonald's a chance at this point.
I'm here now at 6:18am to use the restroom to dress for work and order coffee and breakfast. I commute to Austin from Houston on Wednesdays and the women in here refuse to unlock the lobby, which was supposed to be opened at 5am anyway!!! I see at least 3 women here now but they're refusing to open the lobby :-( It's sad how bad public service has gotten. I know this isn't a McDonald's custom to treat people like this. They wouldn't even speak to or acknowledge me
So i wanted to give this Mc Donalds in giddings another try, idk if it's the owner of this location or what, but this is the only location that serves their Hamburgers with patties that look handmade they are all crooked and broken up not even round their fries are cold and old, and I told the guy at the window who handed me the so called ice tea, No i don't want this , i said it looks like sugar water it doesn't even have color, he says well that's how it's coming out, lol yeah it's coming out that way because that's how your making duhhhh, idk if they can't afford tea bags at this location, but definitely now I understand why there is never anyone there,because this location doesn't deserve to be called Mc Donalds.
