We went for dinner, two of us. They recommended we order three dishes to share, but we couldn't resist and ordered four. We highly recommend the prawn brioche and the octopus; they're incredible. The ceviche was also delicious, fresh, and so good you could eat it all on its own! The dessert was also very good; it was the torrija (Spanish-style French toast).

I'd heard great things about this place, and it certainly didn't disappoint. The decor is very elegant. The dishes are original and beautifully prepared, perfect for sharing. I recommend the Iberian pork cheek bao bun, the free-range chicken cannelloni, and the Iberian pork shoulder. The staff was also outstanding; they were very attentive.

Creative cuisine! I really enjoyed everything about this restaurant, from it's original fusion cuisine to its unique decorative style and friendly hospitality. The flavours work so well in each dish and they are reasonably priced. I recommend the octopus above all else, it was divine with the accompanying sauce. The service was perfect and I could not fault my meal. Definitely a place I'd go back to! I expect good things for this restaurant in the future.

Very nice restaurant in Gijon! Not your typical Spanish restaurant, very original dishes with a touch of Spain and other kitchens as well. Very nice decoration as well. We had three dishes and dessert and all were very nice.

A wonderfully quirky interior but, it has to be said, you go there for the food, which is amazing. The service is a delight- so attentive - with our waiter giving us helpful tips about their menu. Every dish we ate was totally original in tastes and textures and if I could give La Cacharreria a higher rating, I definitely would. It's superb!

Amazing food, must visit. We arrived at 9pm and the place was empty, but by 9.30 it was full, so maybe wait until then if you like to have some atmosphere. Also because we were the first in, our food arrived really quickly. So if you like a more leisurely dinner arrive later or instruct the waiter, but it suited us perfectly. The decor is really quirky, we loved it. The dishes are meant to share and the starters are similar size to the mains, so we were advised to get 3 dishes between us in any combo and it worked well. We got one starter and two meat dishes and there was plenty of food, with enough room for dessert. We did notice other people ordering a dessert each which wouldn't have been too much but you could get away with either. The food is really tasty, unusual combos, really interesting. I'd come back just to try the other things on the menu. We got smoked sardine salad, lamb tacos, bread bao Iberian cheeks and mango mille feuile for dessert.The staff were great and overall we couldn't recommend it enough.

Un sito espectacular, llevabamos dedede primeros de agosto querindo venir y finalmente el 4 de septiembre, el lugar prometia y las expextativas se cumplieron con creces, comenzamos pidiendo una ensalada de zamburiñas con vinagreta de frutos rojos, deliciosa, con un gran aroma y sabor, decidimos acompañarla con un vino Enate Rosado, que maridaba perfectamente, luego pedimos unos Medallones de Puerro con un Romescu que estaba para llorar, un sabor a pimenton, aceite y almendras , con una textura cremosa y jugosa , los puerros estaban blandos y crujientes a la vez , algo increible, nos encanto este plato, y como plato principal un Pulpo del Cantabrico con parmentier de patata y salsa de manzana increiblemente bueno, la textura perfecta del pulpo con la combinacion de sabores , de la manzana y la patata, algo inolvidable, y finalmente los postres, una tarta de queso que estaba muy rica y un manjar con una explosion de sabor a mango en la boca en una textura de espuma de mango, con un sabor potenciado al comerlo, una autentica delicia. La carta no es muy extensa. Cocina de fusión pero sin más. Nada especial. No acorde con él precio. Eso sí, trato muy amable.

But for one day, you're worth it, right? The quality of the ingredients is important and it shows. The preparation is superb, but the planning in the kitchen is crucial, and the service was perfect, arriving at just the right moment. In short, a meal in an atmosphere with soft background music that ended with an unparalleled dessert. Congratulations.

The restaurant itself is beautiful, and the staff's service is practically unbeatable. However, after having eaten there several times, I have to revise my previous review because I was quite disappointed. The tempura vegetables were the only thing I truly enjoyed. The fried cod was overly salty, and the accompanying sauces were awful. We finished with some chicken cannelloni (a classic at this restaurant), but they didn't quite win us over; the dish felt unfinished. That said, I hope to return and leave with a better experience.

Toda la comida estaba bien, aceptable pero ningún plato llamó nuestra atención ni nos pareció distinto a cualquier restaurante promedio. La sensación que transmite es de querer impresionar y siento que algunos platos al sobrecargarse de elementos pierden esencia. Desde el principio el trato con la mayoría de los trabajadores de la sala nos pareció poco cercano, como con una falsa idea de elegancia que no casaba con el concepto ni con lo que transmite gastronómicamente. El punto que nos cambió por completo la experiencia fue mientras comíamos su plato de berenjena escalivada, entre el cual encontramos un enorme pelo negro enredado entre la berenjena. Tras decirlo a los camareros, y que nadie se acercara a la mesa a pedir disculpas, se nos cobró el plato de todas maneras (17 euros), aunque nos aseguramos de que vieran lo que había sucedido y haber devuelto el plato con la mitad de la comida. Este tipo de detalles son los que hay que tratar con especial atención en hostelería, y son pequeños gestos que hacen que no vaya a volver a este local.
