Reserve 22

I am looking forward to having this again! Avocado Toast ... crisp grained bread, creamy avocado, topped with a soft cooked egg drizzled with oil sprinkled perfectly with pepper & salt. Yummmm! Beautiful outside setting with attentive & friendly service.

Service tonight was a bit slow but phenomenal none the less. And in their defense they were quite busy. FishFry Friday especially is a wonderful time.

Our family loves Reserve 22. The food is pretty good, good selection of craft beers, and the outside patio is just spectacular.

Held an event here and Liz, the event/sales manager, was fantastic to work with. She was very responsive and accommodating. The entire staff the day of was attentive and helpful. Highly recommend!

Came here for a holiday get together with 3 girlfriends and we had a great time. The atmosphere was amazing for Christmas with lots of photo ops. Good drinks and food.

Can not say enough great things about this restaurant! The food was great, and the service was off the charts! What you can’t beat in the suburbs, is the festive decor in this restaurant for Christmas! We will definitely be back!

Our 50th anniversary celebration at Reserve 22 was a wonderful experience. Food, service, staff, venue were excellent. Liz was great at helping prepare for our event and Corey and his staff were very accommodating at setting up the room as we wanted the day of our event. The staff’s professionalism made everything from start to finish flow so smoothly. Can’t thank Reserve 22 staff enough. Highly recommend!!!

Wonderful first time experience. Reserved for Easter and overall a wonderful experience. The atmosphere was fantastic, not super loud and comfortable even with groups of people. Comfortable and friendly feeling. Staff was wonderful and friendly. The food offered was pretty tasty, not a huge variety. Quality food but not a large variety. Some dinner options, some breakfast options, handful of apps but nothing kid friendly. Everything seemed to be geared towards older adults but still quality nonetheless.

The Christmas pop up is great. Very festive, special holiday cocktails, decorations were really nice.

We had my daughter's baby shower at Reserve 22 and it couldn't have been better. Service, food & ambiance was great and still being talked about. Liz did a great job of every detail, Arturo & the other gentleman who served catered to our every need! Fabulous?

Last year (2024) was the first year we had our staff Christmas party at Reserve 22. The staff was easy to work with, and the food was excellent. Everyone raved about the Mac & Cheese. I saw a few going back for seconds! Reserve 22 also worked with us accommodating staff with special dietary needs. We are going back this year.

Love sitting outside in the shade to have a very good meal here. Have always enjoyed the various entrees, however recently ordered the Sunday Salmon & 2 of us found it flavorful but just a little too dry.

This was the second time we held an even in the Blue Heron Room at Reserve 22. Both times we were treated with professionalism and respect. The entire staff is knowledgeable and friendly. This past weekend we held an after Christmas luncheon for 30 family members and everyone loved the food we had selected for our buffet. Everything was delicious, cooked perfectly. The team that took care of us that day were courteous and did everything to make our day special. Since everyone had such a great time, I think this will be a new tradition in of family. Definitely would recommend Reserve 22 for your next event. And one more thing, the restaurant was so beautifully decorated for the holidays giving a special backdrop for our family photos.

I hosted my daughter’s baby shower and it went perfectly from start to finish. We had passed appetizers. The coconut shrimp and spring rolls were a huge hit! Followed by chicken piccata and the sweet table. I also had the mimosa and Bloody Mary bar. Wow!!! Everyone loved it!! They even supplied an event captain and he was ON IT!!! When we were running low something he was quick to bring it. I would definitely have another party there.

Had a family event here. Excellent food (the chicken was dry, but it’s tough to keep buffet white meat moist and the crust was delicious enough to make up for a little dryness) and great service! Highly recommend!

Brought all my coworkers here after our christmas party to keep the holidays vibes going. They have the best decor in town. At first i thought we were going to get kicked out as we had about 30-40 people standing in the bar area but the lead bartender rocked it. i didn’t catch her name but she was phenomenal. We might need to steal her for our bar/restaurants! lol

We had our daughter’s bridal shower here. Everything was great! We had the brunch and the food was excellent especially the chicken salad croissants and Asiago pasta! Everyone is still talking about it. The space was perfect size for us and they were very accommodating! Not to mention the nice view of the golf course. Liz was very helpful and answered any questions we had quickly. If we ever have another occasion where we need a venue we’re definitely going back! Highly recommend!

We had a customer appreciation event and Liz was wonderful to work with. Our wait staff that evening made the event special for everyone. We will definetly be back. Reserve 22 is one of my favorite restaurants in Glen Ellyn.

We had family in town and didn't feel like driving into Chicago so we saw this cute Holiday Pop Up on Instagram and decided to give it a try. It is suggested you make reservations so we went the Friday after Thanksgiving for lunch. Reserve 22 is located in the beautiful Village Links Golf Course in Glen Ellyn. The interior is beautiful! Our server Nancy was very good and attentive. They have a pretty extensive menu as well as Daily Specials. Prices tho are on the high side and they don't offer many GF items. They also have a kids menu if you ask. We didn't try any of their many Holiday Drink specials do that might have to be another visit. We ordered the Smoked Devil Egg trio but we're later told they were not serving it on the day we went. The kids enjoyed their children's meal as well as the Giant Pretzel even tho it was overpriced at 15.00 in my opinion. My wife had the Chicken Bowl (GF) ($20) and she thoroughly enjoyed it. I had their Chicago Italian Beef Flatbread ($19) which was tasty but dry. Needed either a dipping sauce or more sauce on the flatbread. For dessert the kids enjoyed their peppermint gelato sundae which was big enough to share. To get in the Holiday Spirit with family and friends,Reserve 22 is a fun place to go in the Western Burbs.

Atmosphere is top notch for the holiday season! The Decorations are tasteful and elegant. Our server was so nice. The food could have been better. I ordered the 8 oz filet. It was the chewiest steak I’ve ever eaten. I could hardly cut it. My uncle ordered the same, he could hardly cut his steak as well. The kids had pizza and a hot dog, which was standard. The hamburger was on soggy bun. Turkey pot pie was good. Shrimp pasta was average. The wedge salad needed more dressing. The 3 desserts were the best part of the meal; tiramisu, blueberry cobbler, chocolate mouse cake.

Beautiful place for lunch or dinner. The restaurant is located with a beautiful view of the golf course. There is outside and inside dining. They have a full bar available. The menu is online and they have daily specials. I highly recommend this with friends and family events. It's a little pricey but I think it's worth it for the overall experience. I had one of the daily specials see the picture attached.

Amazing plants and flowers and Beautiful outdoor golf course view! Good service and Food was pretty good too. (Had a Niçoise salad which was good but I’ve had much better). Saw someone with nachos that looked epic!!! Next time!

The good news is Cheryl (outside) is everything great about Reserve. We enjoyed being in her section tonight. The view, atmosphere and weather were perfect. Hubs had the Philly cheesesteak wrap and loved it. The calamari lettuce has all the promise of a great dish but falls short, it heavily relies on the sauce for any flavor at all. It could greatly benefit from a marinade, a pinch of salt and some avocado. I think it’s also important to have the appropriate lettuce cups if you present them as a lettuce wrap. Only one of mine easily wrapped, the 2nd one I struggled with and the 3rd was eaten with a fork. The rice was nice and tender and soaked up the sauce which was the best part. So the wrap is close but definitely a bogey.

I ment my cousin and his fiancee for dinner at Reserve 22. They had the patio open for seating- no masks required if fully vaccinated, tables were maybe a little further apart than normal. It was pretty crowded, but the server was attentive (I never had to even ask for a refill on my diet coke which is hugely appreciated.) The food was good and came faster than usual. The downside, as of 6-9-21 their online menu is not accurate- some items have fallen off, and they no longer have my beloved sweet potato tots. The prime rib sliders are phenominal though, I highly recommended them. It was pretty loud, so it was very hard to have a conversation without leaning over the table and talking quite loudly. Still, pretty area, and not bad pricing. I'm sure I'll be back because it is so convenient and clise to home.

The holiday pop-up was fun! Giant gelato serving! Would be even cozier with holiday music and themed drinks/desserts.

Chicken Piccata and crisp-grilled veggies with rigatoni in marinara sauce were delicious. Service was fast, table settings crowded but nice. Lovely rooms and facilities.

Nice place with good food and good service. Country club feeling at a public golf course. Menu has many options to choose from as does the wine and beer. Good cocktails as well.

The Christmas season is a good time to go. Decorations are beautiful. Food is okay, nothing special. Service is inconsistent, especially in the bar area.

Comfortable place for lunch on a nice day! Best part is the terrace where you can enjoy the beautiful weather while dining.

We were there for an event. It was very nice. The space was accommodating the large, and the patio provided added room for folks to congregate. The appetizers were hot and tasty. Staff kept up with clearing off tables. Thank you.

Atmosphere is fabulous. Our waitress was great. Special photo room was a huge plus! Do not recommend the whitefish, but steak and burgers were great

We 'dined' at Reserve 22 for the Lunch with The Grinch event...and the characters were AMAZING. The woman that played Cindy Lou Who did a phenomenal job engaging with the kids and the gentlemen that played the Grinch was excellent as well. That's where the magic stopped. The food was AWFUL. Chicken tenders for kids that were more bread than chicken, fries that were soggy and over-salted. The pot roast sandwich wasn't edible and the sliders were tough medallions of flavorless beef, despite being asked for at a medium/medium rare temp. Was the place cute for the holidays, yes. Was the staff good, yes. Were the characters fantastic, YES! But I won't go back...there are a dozen other places that do similar events.

We came here for the holiday pop up. It was beautifully decorated with a themed cocktail menu. The food we got was subpar and expensive. The service was super slow. I think our waitress checked on us once the entire time we were there and it took her 15 mins to approach our table when we were first seated. Overall I would come to sit at the bar for a drink while enjoying the atmosphere but skip the food.

Came here with a friend for lunch to see the holiday decorations. Both of us had a hard time finding something on menu we wanted to order - it’s all over the place. She ended up getting the pot pie and I got the fish. Neither one of us really loved our meal, it was mediocre. We still enjoyed our time with the festive atmosphere, but I do not think we’d come back just for the food.

Let me start this by saying we were served RAW chicken.… I was thinking of having my bridal shower here but not anymore. Drink and appetizer not worth the price, and my $18 sandwich sandwich came with the smallest portion of fries and not even all the topping advertised on the sandwich. My friend got a chicken sandwich and parts of it were raw. Pic attached. I saw my server maybe 3 times all night. Service wasn’t great and food was even worse. Especially for the prices. We spent 75 bucks for this stuff. Update— the manager did take the sandwich off our bill which was nice.

Was running late for our 9:30 reservation but still planning to be there 20 minutes before the the kitchen closed at 10. Whoever answered the phone said they were “holding the kitchen staff open until we got there because they wanted to leave”. She was super unprofessional and actually a huge embarrassment to the restaurant. I’ll never eat there just based on principle. What the hell happened to customer service?!?!

More like negative 5 stars to use "Wrestling Observer Magazine's," creater and writer Dave Meltzer's star rating system here. No. No. Hell No. This place just didn't meet my standards in every category. Especially, one male server in particular. And, how are you a server here? Boy, act your age. To use a line from the legendary Fox show, In Living Color, "hated it." All of it for that matter. I ain't never eating or stepping foot in here to even use the restroom for that matter. You can believe that for a fact.

Very disappointed! Came here to enjoy Christmas vibe and Christmas cocktails! We arrived 2 hours early ahead of our reservation so we could sit at the bar to enjoy advertised Christmas cocktails. They were out of many ingredients so 5 Christmas cocktails on menu we wanted could not be ordered! Why have a special cocktail menu when you can’t make them?? Poor planning. And now we are sitting at our table and out of flatbreads!!! We have out of town guests from Maryland and raved about this place! Unacceptable!
