Had reservations for new year eve! The place was very busy! Parking easy in and out able to find a spot! We walked in and sat down right away! Staff were very busy but still professional, helpful and friendly! Drinks and food came out in timely manner! Server kept on top of our needs and asking if we were ok! We enjoyed the grilled swordfish, noodle bowl, fish and chips and crab cakes! Would like to come by sometime when they are not so busy, To really enjoy the atmosphere, and check out the rest of the restaurant!

Love the new look and menu makeover! They have gluten free friendly options that are not salad! They have gluten free burger buns and gluten free entrees. I love the espresso martini and their blood orange martini. Their patio in the back is nice too! Definitely coming back! Live piano player is entertaining

Let’s start with the appetizer. Steamed Mussel Pot with red sauce ($14) (comes with two pieces of bruschetta). Good god. The mussels were large and plump, not chewy, almost melted in your mouth. The red sauce was freaking amazing. Fresh garlic and a little bit of heat but not overbearing. I have no idea how many mussels were in this pot, but we finally finished them after we finished our entrees if that tells you anything, and they were still hot. Entrees. I chose the Woodstock Pub Pie ($22). “Lamb & short rib braise, pearled onions, peas, corn & carrots in a red wine sauce topped with potato mashers & melted cheddar”. I think they may have forgotten the potato mashers, but who the hell cares, this dish was amazing! The lamb & short rib were so incredibly tender, and the sauce was chef’s kiss. He ordered the Crown Tavern Prime Meatloaf ($28). “Prime ground beef blended with tomato ragout, herbs & spices, slow roasted & served with red wine demi-glaze, garlic mashed potatoes and balsamic brussel sprouts”. I HAD IMMEDIATE DINNER ENVY! I am not even exaggerating when I tell you that this was the BEST meatloaf either one of us ever had, in our lives. Like ever. First let’s talk about the size of this thing. HUGE, really big (not being a size queen)! Second let’s talk taste. I don’t know what type/grade, whatever, of ground beef they use but my god, sir may I have another? The mashed pot’s & brussel sprouts were very good. On our drive home we agreed that we could have easily shared this dish. Desert. We shared a piece of lemon olive oil cake with crème anglaise & fresh strawberries ($8). Did we need to order this? No. Am I glad we did? Yesssss! The cake was moist and delectable. Our takeaway. This was a wonderful dining experience from the moment we sat down. The atmosphere was inviting and warm, our server Jordan could not have been sweeter, the food came out fast, hot and absolutely delicious. 2 cocktails, 1 appetizer, 2 entrees & 1 desert came to under $100 (not including tip). We will definitely be going back and getting that meatloaf again!

We recently held a baby shower in the wine cellar at The Crown Tavern. The event space was beautiful and our guests expressed the same sentiment. Staff was attentive, food was delicious, my requests were all accommodated and we had no issues. It was a hot day and room was comfortably cool. The girls assigned to our event were wonderful. Our guests all told us how beautiful everything was and many remarked that they had not known about The Crown but would be sure to come back. We were very pleased with our experience. All communication was returned quickly before the event. The overall cost was very reasonable and most importantly the parents-to-be thoroughly enjoyed the event!

Had a wonderful lunch at The Crown Tavern with my husband. Our server was Dimitri who was very friendly, informative, and attentive. The food was served piping hot and quickly. The food was delicious and had great portion sizes. The poutine was loaded with meat and cheese, the zucchini fritto had perfect breading. The zucchini was cut into spears instead of thin strips which I really enjoyed. I had the beef stew special and my husband got the fish and chips. We ended up sharing both dishes since we liked them so much! We also both really loved the decor and enjoyed the low noise level. We will definitely be back, it was fantastic!

The Food was fit for royalty. Thank you, Crown Tavern, for a memorable dining experience and special thanks to our waitstaff, Sean (I hope I spelled that correctly) who treated two middle aged women like queens, making our visit not just a dining experience but a memorable one. Great service transforms a meal into an occasion. He is a jewel in the Crown Taven's crown!

Run don’t walk to this restaurant! Food, service are fantastic. Some of the best we have enjoyed lately. Highly recommend tikka masala and onion soup.

We finally tried the Crown after several friends kept recommending it. Brunch was fabulous and the atmosphere was great. Our server Patricia was amazing and took great care of us. Can't wait to come back!

What a great find! The food, service and atmosphere were great! The server was super friendly. I had the calamari with peppers. The peppers were spicy which I like. The buttermilk batter was flavored well but a little soggy. Not as crisp as I would think but still very good. The beet and burrata salad was amazing. So many other things I would like to try.

Brunch was perfect! Patricia is a wonderful server and we will definitely be back again!

We had a lovely lunch with Jess. The drinks and food were fabulous and the service was even better. We hope to have Jess K. as our server in the future.

23 of us had a great time for our New Year's Eve brunch at the Crown Tavern. Service was great and so is the food. We were in the far left dining area and had it all to ourselves. Great british-themed decor and ambience. Can't wait to go back.

3 of us had the Pub Pie, which was delicious and very rich with lots of melted cheese on top. Much less mashed potatoes than a traditional shepherd's pie. Another person had the meatloaf, which was fabulous. Atmosphere is classy. Service was perfect (ask for Jordan). Prices were very good, compared to similar restaurants. We paid about $95 per couple (before tip), and that included 3 mixed drinks, 2 entrees, 1 shared dessert, and 2 coffees. We will be back.

I've been to The Crown twice in the last week, and had an excellent experience each time. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Our food was delicious and served hot. Servers were efficient and helpful during both visits. I can't wait to go back and experience more of the delicious menu!

My girlfriend and I love going to The Crown! The food and drinks are always awesome, the atmosphere is cozy, and the waitstaff is great! Last time we went we were tended to by Jess K. and she was so warm and hospitable. Can’t recommend this place enough!

Have dined here for a few years. Always enjoy the atmosphere and service. Food is good. Nice bar. Like the traditional English food options. Patty is a wonderful server. Very friendly and fun to talk with.

We had a small family gathering for the eightieth birthday of the patriarch and we had a marvelous time. We highly recommend the food; everything was delicious and beautifully presented. When it comes to service, our server was Jess, who was an absolute delight and I must say that handling our gang required going above and beyond, which Jess did gracefully, cheerfully and efficiently. She blended in so well with our nutty bunch easily joining in with the jokes and silliness. Jess rated five ++++ stars, and deserves a raise, at the very least, be sure to ask for Jess!

Great experience! The atmosphere is relaxing and enjoyable. Our server, Ariyonne, was very knowledgeable of the menu and made great recommendations. Every item we ordered was delicious. We will definitely be back!

Another great meal at the Crown! Meredith and her team did a fantastic job with getting us seated even while they were super busy on Saturday night. Diana our server also really busy delivered superior service!

I always have a great time at the crown. I almost always come for happy hour, but end up getting dinner. The service is great. I feel bad I cannot recognize/remember everyone. Emma was my most recent server. She was lovely! I cannot say enough good things about the crown...it's a vibe

This is our. Second visit. I would recommend the French Onion Soup and Saturdays and Sundays 11:30 to 6 is buck a shuck oysters. The staff is very attentive and friendly. I had the full Monty English breakfast today and it was delicious and filling. Oh the bloody Mary that I had with it was refreshing. I asked for extra spicy and th server brought an extra cup of horseradish just in case it needed a n extra bite. If you haven't been I would say try it. I have found it to be a good place to watch games as well.

We had a great time! This was our first time here. Patty our server was great! She is friendly and helpful. Megan also was friendly and helpful. I think she is a manager. This place has great food, service and atmosphere. I recommend it.

Our server, Jess, was absolutely lovely. She gave my friend and I time to talk while still being attentive to our needs. I had the ham cheddar and apple sandwich with tomato bisque soup. Delicious! The place is super cute and staff very friendly.

While visiting my daughter at school we drove past this place and noticed the parking lot was packed. After our errands we called to see what the wait time was and it turned out to be the same amount of time as our commute back to the Tavern so off we went. Glad we did. Atmosphere was warm and cozy, service was smooth and timely and the food was seriously delicious. We had the Brussel sprouts with dates and bacon, truffle fries (I did NOT want to share) and a bowl of French Onion soup with a twist, fried onions on top as well as the regular cooked soup onions. All 3 we spectacular and we cleaned the plates. Next came the blackened chicken mac and cheese and the short rib stroganoff. Big portions (lunch for today!) and very tasty. Now we know why the lot was full. Not to mention the live music in the bar, nice touch. If you're ever in this area you won't go wrong by stopping and having a bite. Can't wait to visit my daughter in the Spring.

Surprisingly delicious with large portions and a comfortable vibe! We always drive by and finally stopped. It was worth it! Our server Selby helped us choose all the right drinks and dishes to complete our 5 star experience! Would recommend and be back!

I went to The Crown Tavern to celebrate my father's birthday with family and to get him the prime rib special for dinner. This was our first time here, and the atmosphere was cozy, elegant, and quiet (It should be noted we were there during an Eagles game & at 3 PM, so not quite the dinner rush.) Regardless, the food was incredible and everyone at the table, who ordered a variety of dishes like the prime rib, crab cakes, oysters, English onion soup, and the English dip roast beef, was satisfied with the meal and full by the time we got the dessert menu. Our server, Jess, was attentive and incredibly polite, and it made the experience all the better! To sum it up: Atmosphere was comfortable, Food was delicious, and the staff were mannerly and welcoming! We're definitely going to eat here again!

We books a private room for my parents’ surprise anniversary celebration and I’m so blown away by the service that I am writing this review on the ride home. The buffet options were unbelievably tasty; every guest raved about the food. I loved the salmon so much I went back for multiple servings. The cost was beyond reasonable, and the private room was absolutely perfect. Using the audio and video system was super simple. The space was so beautiful we really didn’t need any decorations, but the staff were totally fine with us bringing our own centerpieces. I wouldn’t hesitate to book another private party here in the future. Absolutely fantastic experience. Thank you, Crown Tavern!

Stopped at the Crown for my birthday. We sat in the bar area at a high top H7. Our server was Eddie F. He did a fabulous job. Would love for him to be our server every time. The meal was outstanding. My wife had the Shanghai Shrimp happy hour special. I had the buck-a-shuck Oysters and the Blackened Cod Special. The staff is always helpful, and the atmosphere is welcoming. We always enjoy ourselves every time. Thank you for making my birthday special.

I’ve been there twice. First time, we had drinks and food at the bar. The second time, we sat at a table. Both experiences were awesome. Some of the best food I’ve had around here in a long time! Knowing it was going to be a busy restaurant on New Years Eve, we originally had intentions to just enjoy happy hour at the Crown, but also had made reservations just in case 4:15 pm would be busy. And it was! After seeing the dinner menu and the NYE menu, we decided to stay for dinner too. Cancelled reservations elsewhere and enjoyed a great meal at the Crown. Awesome service too!

My wife and I had a wonderful experience at the Crown Tavern. We had never been there before and every single thing about it was perfect. I was in the restaurant business for 15 years working every position from dishwasher and bus boy to waiter and front and manager. Our server Allyson was delightful and so was Meredith our hostess.

From my initial contact to finishing of the event of my father‘s 80th birthday, the staff the food the attentiveness was beyond exceptional! Everything was on point and wonderful. We started at the bar as a small party and ended the day at a table for 10 enjoying fantastic hors d’oeuvres or appetizers Salads and entrées. Our server Jess could not have been more accommodating and pleasant. She really is a star! Being able to celebrate such a wonderful occasion at a fantastic restaurant, made it even more special. There was so much attention paid to every detail, I couldn’t have asked for more. I will definitely be coming back to the Crown.

Visited on New Year's Eve for a relaxing experience and we were not disappointed!! The food was delicious with generous portions, and our server Angie was wonderful. Angie's smile and overall attitude in making sure we were very satisfied with everything was very much appreciated. Would recommend The Crown Tavern to anyone - you will not be disappointed.

My family and I ate at the Crown Tavern for the first time tonight for my father’s birthday. We had an excellent waitress named Jordan. She was super attentive, friendly, and patient. We had a large party and Jordan did a great job of making sure that our food came out together and quickly. Everything was delicious! The Crown Tavern even gave my dad a sweet birthday card and a dessert to bring home. 10/10 would highly recommend eating at the Crown Tavern. We can’t wait to come back! Thank you for a great dining experience. 😊

We had a delicious meal, and the atmosphere was cozy and warm. The food was excellent, and we appreciated that we could order a mocktail, since many restaurants do not offer a mocktail menu. The service was excellent and attentive. An all around great experience!

The event we held was to celebrate our managers. Both Mangers from our office and field were recognized with awards. Our reservation for the Wine Cellar was from 12:30 pm to 3:30 pm. We had appetizers served for the first 30 minutes, and then the rest were set on the bar for people to come and eat them as they socialized. We gave all of our team members two drink tickets each. These tickets were provided by the restaurant manager. Our lunch was served buffet style the food was warm, and the variety of food was wonderful. We had the Big Ben Calvary served for our lunch. There was a holiday playlist played throughout the event, and the lighting was soft dim. After dinner, our dessert table was set, and the cream puffs were the best dessert.

The Crown Tavern in Glen Mills is a great spot if you’re looking for elevated pub fare with a nice atmosphere. The food was very good—standouts for me were the fried Brussels sprouts, the steak fries poutine topped with tender braised short rib, and the wings. All of these were delicious and offered as part of their happy hour menu, which I really appreciated. Unlike many places that give you just a handful of happy hour options, The Crown Tavern has a generous selection to choose from, making it well worth it. The cocktails were fine—classic choices like a Cosmo, mojito, and lemon drop. They were decent, though nothing particularly inventive, but still solid staples that any bartender should deliver well. For dessert, I tried the sticky toffee pudding. It was good, but felt like it was missing that final wow factor—something like a bourbon caramel sauce would really elevate it. The restaurant itself is nicely decorated, capturing the charm of an elevated English pub, and the service was attentive throughout. Overall, a very enjoyable experience and definitely worth a visit.

I was served fish that was clearly tilapia or bass but was on the menu as cod. This bait and switch tactic was not appreciated. I know what cod looks like and tastes like. This was not cod!
