The crullers here are my favorite doughnuts in the whole country. They are crispy, light, airy, moist, and a touch eggy. They are amazing. It’s hard to find crullers in general, but these are the best. I think they import special flour and use a special technique. Well done, Spudnuts! And thank you!

Got a doughnut here this morning while waiting for laundry at Suds City. I don't really have anything to say good or bad about the food, since it was a standard maple bar, and there's not much variance on those no matter where you go. It tasted as expected. But I wanted to leave a review because the staff was super friendly. Overall, loved the vibe of this place.

Delicious donuts for decades. I've been going to Spudnuts for over a decade and they never disappoint. Blueberry, vanilla sprinkle, buttermilk, apple fritter, and chocolate chip chocolate frosted chocolate filled squares are my favorites.

This place is FABULOUS!!! A true gem for Isla Vista... going above & beyond for both the UCSB and IV communities. John, the store manager, truly goes out of his way to ensure that customers feel appreciated & valued. For example, I called the store to see if they could possibly deliver several dozen donuts to my son who attends UCSB and lives in IV. It was a special birthday for him-- and, given that I live across the country, I was desperate to send him and his friends something fun (and tasty!) to help them celebrate. Even though I did not ahead of time (poor planning on my part!), John graciously took my order-- and even delivered the goodies to my son's house, himself. I could not have been more impressed or appreciative. I am forever a fan of this wonderful shop-- and I look forward to many more visits in the future!

Spudnuts Donuts was a great place to go quickly and grab lunch. I got the cookies & cream boba smoothie, and 12 donut holes, all of which were very good. They had a huge selection of donuts and I would definitely recommend this place if you need a quick donut.

You're not going to get great artisinal Donuts in Santa Barbara or Goleta so Spudnuts is about as good as it gets.

Went in for a cake donut for a bit of dessert on a Saturday night. No wait, selection was enough and the lady working was super nice. I was personally hoping for a strawberry donut but I didn’t see one. A lot of chocolate and covered sugar donuts.

Went all the way there to get a ham and cheese croissant but they didn’t have any. :( I got a regular one and a cream-filled donut; they were pretty good.

Walking home from getting a coffee we had an urge to try a donut from here. The crumb topped cinnamon roll caught our eye. Since it was so big we decided to share. It came out to $3 for 1 donut. It was big so we went for it. The first couple of bites were disappointing as the donut seemed stale. But from about the middle on it seemed way more moist. Good flavors, just not sure i will be back.

Just okay. They seem to do a good business, but I thought their selection was lacking. Got a boston cream, but it tasted almost burnt. The filling and the frosting was good though. The French collinger was overly sweet - too much frosting, but the donought itself was good. Their crossiant wasn't as buttery / flakey as I would desire. Has it's own parking lot, but it's easy to miss

The food was great, the service was poor and the store was not clean and had a homeless looking person in the corner. If the owner was helping a homeless person I would have loved to hear the story but unfortunately the owner/hostess didn't want any conversations or to explain anything.

Ordered a bacon egg & cheese on a bagel.. The bagel, and egg seemed fine but the bacon smelled a little rancid :( I didn't realize until I got home to eat it, otherwise I would have said something at the shop.

To my surprise, the donuts are priced like they are gold filled. A normal glazed cinnamon rolldonut is priced at $2.50 My total for two donuts was overt 4 bucks. When I asked the clerk how much was each. The, very kind clerk said $2.50 for this one and then proceeded to mention that when she was in Vegas she paid $12 for 4 donuts. Now that I've eaten by cinnamon donut I've decided to write this review.

When a man finally walked out to the front he just stared at us. He didn't even greet us or ask us what we'd like. We just walked out. Never coming back!

Purchased two donuts seemed overpriced at $7. A bit dirty of a location to house baked items, looks more like a tool shop or second hand store. Asked for key to use restroom but was told it was out of order, the door had no signage and looked completely fine. When I asked why there's no signage he ignored but proceeded to tell me it was soiled by some homeless person and it's out of order. Probably not the place to get donuts if that is what's happening here
