The young man in the cashier does a really good job, very good customer service and very respectful even under pressure.

Always great chicken and kabobs. Granada Hills, fix the AC! I can't believe you let your employees work like that on 100° days!

Amazing food, I was extremely satisfied with my visit! Their hummus was actually crazy good. I dont usually like hummus, but I was very happy with this one! Their garlick butter stuff (forgot what it was called) is to die for. Absolutely amazing. Their chicken is delicious, well cooked, and seasoned perfectly. Staff was extremely helpful and patient, and were excited to help. The ONLY downside was that it was hot. But honestly, it's not that bad. Idk if the AC is broken, or if it's just like that, but either way it's truly not horrible, just a little uncomfy. Amazing food, wonderful staff, and it's fun to watch the big hunks of meat slowly spin around and cook 10/10 I would recommend, I will be going back to much (Sorry photo is blurry)

Would takeout and to-go just for food quality and staff helpfulness.

If you love flavorful Mediterranean fresh ingredient meals come here. You will not be disappointed. Highly recommend chicken with tabbouleh and cucumber salad over rice. One "bowl" made two meals for us 😀 And yes the garlic sauce is ___

We haven't eaten here in a few years and decided to come to this location. Nick was such a sweetheart and was very patient with us as we hadn't eaten here in a long time. 5 stars all around !

They season the chicken perfectly! I will mention that I've gotten the half chicken plate both times and the first time it came with two packs of pita bread (two in each pack) but the second time it only came with one pack, which was disappointing. Not sure what the standard amount should be but some consistency in that would be great. Also, the wings have been a little dry and hard to eat but the rest of the chicken has been good. Overall, the service has been quick and probably the fastest food prep I've seen from a Zankou. I definitely recommend coming here if you're looking for a quick option for delicious chicken. Keep in mind, the parking lot is a little busy but I haven't had trouble finding a spot right out front. There also isn't much seating inside the restaurant and there's nowhere comfortable to stand while you wait for your order. It definitely has "hole in the wall" vibes even though it's in a nice location. I don't care though, as long as the food keeps coming out the way it has been!

Zankou chicken has a great option for a falafel bowl and they also have nice chicken for those of you who like meat. I know it’s a Zankou chicken but they do have a great options for vegans and vegetarians they have great salads and always give you a cold water the staff is very friendly and very nice I highly suggest Zankou chicken

This place is clean, staff is friendly. I have tried Chicken Tarna wrap. Chicken is overdried but the garlic sauce saved the day. The flavor is good. I like this place . 4 stars for now

Needed a quick, healthy bite before shopping. Service was friendly, efficient, and fast enough. However, the flavor profile of the Chicken Tarna Wrap I ordered, although good, wasn't as good or as pronounced and juicy as the Burbank location on San Fernando Road. Also, the pickled turnips weren't as cold and crisp like Burbank. I'm aware and understand that they're probably different owners.

I dont know if it was me or the staff, but i was waiting for a good little while to give my order. When i asked if i could place my order they thought i was picking up an order for someone. So i spoke a little louder and they looked at me like i had a problem. The staff needs to wake up and pay attention to their customers. But the food was good.

Staff could be a bit nicer to customer..After placing my order I had to remind staff about the drink ... Staff took it the wrong way and gave me that mean Look ...

Good good super slow to receive food

This Zankou has good parking, but employees seemed more interested in chatting with each other than greeting or acknowledging customers. My order was missing, the famous yummy reason I love Zankou, garlic paste. I didn't realize until I got back to the place I was staying. Funny thing I had given a cash tip before I left. Had to drive back to get it and again cashiers with their backs to the register. The paste was mild tasting, I wonder if the recipe changed. I have been to numerous Zankou's, I hope the customer service isn't always this bad.

Walking in here is like walking into a restaurant that stopped caring. The tables were dirty, the walls were stained and damaged, the bathroom was disgusting, the servers were barely coherent, and an employee took his lunch break in the next booth behind us blasting his music... Completely not caring about the silence we were enjoying before he sat down. The food was delicious, yes ... But please clean up the spot and care a little bit.

Ordered ahead for pick up. Was ready quickly but they missed 2 food items and it wasnt discovered until I got home. They got 18% tip plus the money I'm out for the missing items. 👎

Where the heck is the quality control? Half my 2 chicken kabob plates are burnt to a crisp, dry, like jerky. Can someone teach the cook the right way? Both our to-go orders are like this. What gives? This is not zankou quality. For $47 I expected zankou quality. I don't want to go here again. I was so excited to eat my meal, now I'm just in a bad mood. Teach the cook, somebody please for the love of God.

I love Zankou but this location doesn’t live up to the name. It’s the third time I get extremely dry, broken pita bread, and chicken. We’ve been going for a year and they clearly aren’t running this place as well as other locations. My husband already won’t order here anymore. I’m going to have to call it quits too.

Waited 20 min in store to get my order just to come home and find the got my order wrong and only ordered one plate which the beef was burnt and one gyro which was really small compared to other. Zankou spots don’t recommend always double check your order here

WASTE of money and time. Bought a big family meal with 2 whole chickens and all went to the trash. Worst chicken ever, it tasted old, very dry and no flavor except a ton of salt. Even the mutabel was spoiled, see picure. This place went down in quality within the past 6 months, they used to be good, but now is very poor quality, even the management didn't care after I informed him. Jose the manager said they will try but it ultimately is up to the owners, whom they say cannot be disclosed. I know not all Zankous are owned by the same people, this is part of the bad bunch owned by "unknown" owners. Avoid this location!!!

I placed a phone order at 5:47pm, arrived at the location at 6:10. My food was not ready so I waited, waited and waited. I asked the cashier why was my order taking so long. She check and finally gave me my bagged order which was sitting on the counter for over 20 minutes. This is unacceptable! Food was cold and I waited close to 30 minutes. Cashier said “ I don’t know what happened”. She check that bag like 5 times and ignored the fact that I was waiting for my order! It was A13. They need to be more attentive and call out the orders that are sitting on the counter! Why is management on site to check up to see if the customers are being taken care of? Not a happy customer today!

No one wants to be there. Zero motivation, orders are always at least 30 minutes behind scheduled time. Today is the absolute LAST TIME I ORDER FROM THERE

We ordered from the catering menu and not only did we have to wait 30 minutes for our large pre-order, the steak kabob was visibly burnt and extremely chewy. We could not serve it at our party. We contacted the store immediately and many times after and the manager was not helpful, unwilling to acknowledge or apologize for the issue and just told us all he saw in the picture was “cooked meat”. I would not order from this store, very poor customer service and the quality of the food at this location in particular gives Zankou a bad name.

There is hardly any chicken or meat in the plate, I will never buy from this place again, I just paid over $20 to end up with a plate full of lettuce and tomato. As an Armenian, I say this. Shame on you people, you have lost one of your most loyal customers today!! everytime I've gone to Tel Aviv restaurant in Encino, the plate is FULL OF FOOD!!!!

The Shish Kabob the taste is just like your eating a lowest quality of Top Sirloin Steak with pepper and salt not the real authentic flavor of Mediterranean food plus it’s like your eating a rubber. I was surprised the owner or managing this place did not take an action with the negative reviews - They should improve not degrade. 1 star is for the food is ready when I pick up and it’s hot and there is no missing items. Negative 4 stars is for the burned, not juicy and tender food. I will not order here again and definitely will not recommend. I think this place is just a franchise there website to order is different from other location. Please go other location to spend your money or else you will feel sorry.

I am so disgusted and disappointed 😔 with my order. I asked for a protein bowl with double rotisserie chicken and they have me all leg meat that was bruised, veiny and purple. I couldn't eat it. I'm in tears on how upsetting this is. I should have listened to the reviews and went to Burbank instead even though it's up the street from me. Terrible terrible terrible.

My girlfriend walked in a few minutes after, but as we were leaving someone had the audacity of using the microphone (the one to call order numbers on the exterior of the restaurant) and calling my girlfriend a “ mamazita ” on our way out. This is unacceptable, in no way shape or form should you have an employee cat calling my girlfriend. If this guy does not get fired I will file a formal complaint to your corporate office immediately for sexual harassment. I want to be clear that the person who handed me the food and took my order was very nice and professional, the others in the back were the idiots who did this. I left the store around 9:44-9:45 pm, please check you cameras and find this imbecile who did that and fire him please.
