My family loves this restaurant! I have smaller children and we always have a great time. The service is quick and friendly. We're also big fans of the fried dough fries!

They have some good platters like the cheesy tots are a fave. Good atmosphere and friendly staff! Except who puts the sauce in the food??? Lol

Such a cool place!! My kids (and my husband) love the decor and all the superheros. The food was very good and huge portions. Very fast service, we were there for a late lunch today, a Saturday, and barely waited more then 15 mins for our food and were seated immediately. Nicole K. Was our waitress and she was PHENOMENAL! Friendly, fast, she knew what we needed before we could even ask her, also we appreciated her recommendations. Overall, extremely satisfied and we can't wait to return.

This place is absolutely amazing. If your a big time marvel comic person or super hero fan just in general this spot is a must visit. This café has it all. The food is amazing. I am going to say cheese for at least 15 years all my grandson's apparently grew up there I used to bring them at least once a month. I worked for LabCorp and I suggested to a lot of my patients to bring grandchildren there and everybody loves it. My grandson who's 22 asked me one day if I would take him there for lunch the food is great. The atmosphere is good and the kids love it.

It's absolutely amazing. If you enjoy comics or pizza or both, then this is a must-have. The bbq fries were delicious, and so were the onion rings. I'd die for the pizza, so 😩 Absolutely must try if in Buffalo

I dont usually write reviews but we stopped in for the first time last week and the service was incredible. Wish i got our servers name, but he was absolutely amazing and super friendly to our kids. Fast forward a week later we ordered delivery and even though we dont live on the island they still delivered to me...Ethan, my delivery guy, went above and beyond. i offered him extra for coming and he actually turned it down started walking away and i basically forced him to take it. The service and atmosphere of say cheese will keep us coming back again and again.

Always fun to look around and the food is good too. Server was very attentive. Thanks all.

While my wife myself & 9 month old were in town on vacation / visiting family we came across this restaurant while looking for comic book stores in the area. When we found out it was a combination of both we immediately grabbed my wife's sister and fiance (the later a comic book nerd as well) and headed out. When we arrived we were pleasantly surprised to find adequate parking and were seated shortly after walking in even during peek hours on a Friday evening. For anyone into comic books or have even had a passing glance into the comic book world via movies or TV, the atmosphere can be overwhelming. The first thing you are greeted by is a large standing captain america statue and an at least 10 ft Hulk statue in the takeout area. There are smaller statues from various vendors lining the cases above the seating areas and the bar area. The ceiling and walls are covered with various blown up comic book covers from all eras and aesthetic standee props. The menu is appropriately comic book themed giving a wide variety of bar food to pastas and even a food challenge on the back. Everything we ordered was delicious (personally recommend the Dorito Burrito). Children are also given quite a few options with additional addons for ice cream sundae at the end.On your way out , make sure to get your child they're free comic book gift for getting a kids meal. There is also a small arcade on the other half of the seating area around the bar. The comic book portion (which i do wish was a bit larger) has a series of items ranging from toys to collected TPB / statues and if i remember correctly all of the statues lining the restaurant are available for purchase (or at least most). Overall we all had a great experience and I highly recommend taking a stop in if you are a comic book guru, just have a passing interest into the comic book world or looking for something fun for both adults and children to see.

Hands down one of the BEST pizzas I've had in western New York. The sweet and spice was blended perfectly. You can't beat this when ordered fresh. Must try if you're in the area or no where near.

Try to stop in whenever I'm on the island. Great food and there's lots of stuff for the kids to look at and keep them occupied. The huge beef on weck is definitely filling and good. The old world pizza is delicious and the kids loved the cheese bread and wings.

Always on the top of my list on the island whether you're a local or just passing through! The comic book theme and decor is cool if you've never seen it. Pizza, wings and subs are all solid, only wish they would put a little more sauce on the wings. Sometimes they're on the dry side and I end up having to ask for extra. Bar atmosphere is fun too with experienced bartenders and a vast selection of craft brews.

Seated pretty quickly and our server Hailey is amazing!! Friendly and great about her job. My friend ordered the chicken nachos and it was delicious and huge for the price and well worth it! I ordered the chicken salad and the chicken was cooked perfectly and the salad was great! The dressing is so good. Would love to go back. Loved the life size characters and decor. Family friendly while also having everything an adult would need. Staff are friendly and helpful. Food was delicious. French fries were unique, crispy and edible. Love places that make solid french fries as opposed to just throwing them on each dish haphazardly as an obligatory side. Kids were given a free comic book, the first comic book for both. Definitely coming back.

If you enjoy comic books and food that cannot be mistaken for healthy, this is the place for you! A superhero themed restaurant or a comic book store that serves food, either way it’s a great time. We got the burrito with cool ranch chips on it, and aside from a bit too salty it was delicious! Tater tots were the perfect combination of crunchy on the outside while chewy inside. Well worth the trip!

What a great experience. Wonderful food, great ambiance. My only criticism is about the two guys sitting at the bar being loud and using a lot of expletives in a family restaurant.

Love the food but my only issue is that you have two items that are very similar with similar names and whenever I call there's always confusion about which one I want. The items are Cheesy Stix and Our Cheesy Garlic Bread.

This spot is amazing! Our server was wonderful and the food was even better! We also loved all the comic book characters everywhere! (We're big marvel fans!) My only complaint is that there were fruit flies we had to keep swatting away. We're sure to be back though!

Amazing place to take anyone big and small. Great concept and I love how you can buy pieces of comic book memorabilia, there is a small arcade to have fun in, and great food to eat. Everything was well portioned, tasted great and was ready in a short amount of time. The service was top notch, checking regularly on us, making sure our drinks were full, and they were so friendly & kind. We will be back there when passing through again.

The service was fantastic - quick and efficient. The food was amazing! We got the chicken bread app and the huge beef on weck. Both were absolutely delicious. Picture is of the chicken bread - we ate the sandwich too quickly to get a picture! As a big superhero fan, the atmosphere was really cool too with life size statutes and other figurines decorating the whole restaurant. It was also decorated for Halloween, with different statues in costume (Batman wearing bunny ears) which made me laugh!

I've been patronizing this establishment since it was a Picasso's Pizza and it's been awesome to see how they've evolved and grown into what they are today. I try to get here at least once a year when I visit from VA and now I love taking my kids here for the food and the incredible comic book atmosphere. Great food, especially the pizza and wings, and you could easily visit just to look around at the collectibles, decorations, and comic book store. A must visit if you're on the Island.

This place has a nice vibe, the overall design and all the different Comic related items makes it a nice thing to look at. The food is good, above average and the service is terrific. I had the Special Challenge thing which I dont remember the name of, and it was a lot of carbs a lot, cheese bread, pizza and a lot of fries. When I go back there I'll try something different for sure this was too much.

This such a cool place, went in again recently and the pizza was way better than I recalled. It was end of the night and the guy working hooked us up - huge slices and threw in an extra. For many reason worth the visit.

One of our favorite places to go out to eat at. We have never waited for a table, the food is consistently good. The chicken bread is a must have every time, same for the loaded tots. Great vibes inside, lots of comic book themes items and tables, but still a restaurant bar.

This place is amazing! Their Cheese and Pepperoni pizza is one of the best I've had! The bake is just right and love the charred pepperoni. I went there once for a Pizza/Buffalo Bills watch party and loved the pizza so much that I had to go back for myself. The atmosphere is very cool with all the comic book decorations and figures and the service was outstanding. I wish I tried you guys sooner! I already ate half the pizza before adding a photo because it was too good!

We had a fantastic experience! The food was completely delicious. We started with cheese sticks, they were just perfect! Seriously the best cheese sticks I've ever had! We also had garlic parm boneless wings, the Kentucky BBQ burger, a Ruben, and the Chicago Beef. All of our entrées were prepared well and tasted wonderful. The fries and the tots were hot, crispy, and light. This place is 100% on point with food! So good! The staff is enthusiastic and friendly. There is a marvelous hometown/neighborhood feel in the restaurant. The theme was fantastic, we really enjoyed the little comic shop in the restaurant and the arcade area was stocked with fun choices! 10 out of 10.

Awesome lunch today at Say Cheese Pizza & Co. Our Cheese & Pepperoni Pizza was incredible everything A pizza should be. Great thick crispy crust, delicious cheese, cup & char pepperoni. Huge Blueberry chicken salad! Fresh mixed greens loaded with tender chicken, blueberries, candied walnuts, veggies and crumbly blue. Great lunch. Perfect place for family dinning.

A really cool place to visit. First of all it's on an island, you take one of the bridges to get on the island. Super easy. They have a comic book shop inside, it sells comic books, figures, toys, apparel. Nice selection from affordable to rare collectables. They also have arcade games in the back to play and cool statues around the restaurant. We really enjoyed all the decorations. It did feel a bit cramped though. It's also not far from Niagara Falls, I recommend this as a stop on the way to that! As for the food, everything we got was good. I had pizza and pretzel sticks, both were great. Service was quick and friendly. Staff checked in, drinks refilled etc. was all good. Would definitely visit again.

Say cheese is an institution on Grand Island. A little bit thinner than traditional buffalo pizza. Definitely not New York style. But still thin. Toppings and cheese high quality, sauce is solid. Good Char on the cups of pepperoni. Wings were good, a little on the small side. Mild wings were a bit sweet. Medium wings had a nice zip. Hot wings were not particularly hot, (I'd say they're like most places mediums.) Not a complaint. Most places make their hot wings way too hot.

If I could give this place 100 stars, I would! The atmosphere, service and food is absolutely amazing! We drive 40 minutes to go to Say Cheese, and don't even think twice about it! My only complaint........why have I not gone here years ago?!?!?! Lol We started coming a couple of months ago, and this is our new go to place. Every soup I have tried has been so good! Place is cool all comic book theme characters statues and memorabilia around ... Was disappointment their menu was not updated online. The 2 ft pie was more like 39.00 then 27.00. I get the price seems to good to be true, but that turned me off. On updated menu mozz sticks 6 for 9.99 we got 5 sticks. Asked about it she said that needs to be adjusted. Ok. I'm. They added celery to their chicken wing pizza! It’s not on the menu but they just decided to add it?! I called and they just said “idk that’s how it comes as of now.” It’s good but misleading because this is not what’s described on the menu. I’ve ordered this pizza 100 times and now suddenly it has celery?! Strange.

Everything was hot and fresh and delicious. I really loved the cheesy gooey goodness of the pizza and the sauce is fantastic. My boyfriend got the Beef on Weck and it was massive and he loved it just wished the vessel for the au ju was bigger to dip the giant sandwich. Fries were cooked to perfection. The Spicy Parm wings were yummy but just slightly dry. Only complaint was the pizza we ordered to go. It was supposed to be a Hawiian Pizza with added Mushrooms and Banana Peppers. Instead it was ONLY mushrooms and banana peppers but we paid for a Hawaiian with extra toppings. It was still delicious tho. We will be back for sure.

If you want to splurge on unhealthy food this is the place to do it. The food quality was just ok for me. Blacked chicken sandwich- the chicken was dry and the bread was too hard for my taste. The stuffed peppers were tasty I give that a 👍🏽 All in all it was a fun environment and it totally entertained not only my 5 year old but us adults as well. I love darts, my hubby loves the hockey foosball, they had video games ( pricey some $1 per game) was a good experience and worth taking selfies in 😉

Really great place to eat pizza peruse the comic book history. Had the "old world" pizza, was a great alternative to the standard cheese/pep. Loved it. Had the blackened BBQ along with spicy Parmesan wings. Service was good. Will be back in the future!

Food was delicious and if you are into Marvel then this is the place for you! Lots to look at and you could even but most things inside on display if wanted.

The food is adequate for infrequent family outings. The atmosphere with comic book characters and statuettes throughout the space is a great draw for parents with young children or comic book enthusiasts. I always order Reuben sandwiches when they're offered at restaurants and I gotta say it was not impressive the last time I was there. They have a well priced kids menu available that makes ordering for the little ones easy.

Blast for any fan of comics! Loads of caricatures and comic books to gaze at. Food was delicious and plentiful. Kids plates were good and reasonably priced. Other food was real good. Lots of variety to choose from. I'll have to come back to try more.

The only reason this was put on my bucket list is because it had a catchy name. When I showed up it was a very interesting restaurant to say the least. If you into comic books and action Heroes, this is a place for you to visit The pizza is what I stopped for and it was okay. Not a fan of the conveyor oven, but that's another story all over their menu. It's at award-winning Pizza but nowhere it said what awards they want on their Pizza. Service was pretty good. Friendly takeout stuff

Did Say Cheese change their sub and grandwich rolls?! I remember them having a Parmesan crust or something and now it’s a plain roll. I asked the question and the person on the phone acted like they had no clue.

We usually get the pizza and grilled BBQ wings at least once a month. Yesterday my wings were burnt on over half of the wings. We got large pizza half pepperoni and half mushrooms. Brought it to the girls attention who was at the counter but alls she said was sorry I don’t know anything about online. sorry but that’s not good enough you should probably update your online prices, or get a receipt. So I come in today to pick up pizza and wings I ordered. The minute I opened the door, all the employees were standing in the corner at the counter just staring, no words nothing. I let the black haired girl know I was picking up pizza and wings. The wings were already sitting on the counter, but the bald headed dude who was in the back cutting my pizza mind you, said “well I still have 6 minutes.” All snippy. yup maybe you do but some people live long distances and wanna arrive a few mins early so there food isn’t sitting long and getting nasty. don’t need the crappy attitude. When he was done, the girl grabbed the pizza and THREW it on the counter. My girl said thank you & not a word back. No welcome, have a good night, not a WORD just giggling from the side of the counter where all the employees were & more nasty looks. Do better.

Just a heads up...Whatever you do .. Don't attempt to eat inside at a table if you bought "take out"... Apparently you can't sit at a table if you bought slices from the register... Or some rude lady will be quick to approach you .. And tell you to get out... Even though the place had no other customers at any of the tables.. & The Pizza taste no different than Red Baron out of the frozen section at Wegmans.. I've never had issues sitting down and eating at a table of an establishment after I paid and purchased some of their product.. That was new to me . The service was just as bad as the pizza... Great job guys👎

I got delivery to my house several times and now i get a call saying they don’t deliver off the island and never have. yet online accepted my order and they took my money out of my back account for the order. The manager was extremely rude about EVERYTHING! I’ll never be back to this establishment. Do better Say Cheese and maybe value your customers.

Food was hot and good. But the service was not great. I’m not sure if she put our orders in separately but our food did not come out at the same time. The server like disappeared I had to go find her and ask for our check and some boxes. And even after that I still waited for her to come to the table. It was not busy or else I would have understood.

I have always loved the food. Grew up coming here. When I became gluten free I was so happy they had an option for me. Then I was able to get the breadsticks gluten free. I was so happy. Till I tried ordering them again and someone called me to speak very rudely to me that they were losing money giving me the 8$ breadsticks as gluten free and that I can either be charged for a $17 pizza or the order would be voided. I have never been spoken to so rudely by anyone in any form of service over something that had previously been approved by a cook or manager to do. I have always been a loyal customer but not anymore.

1/8/23 First time ordered from. Here last time will order from here. No sauce on wings and told the guy 4 times no chicken on pizza you would think spending 80 some Dollard for 20 wing and 2 medium pizza they could have gotten the order right. SO SAD if there calling this grease at the bottom Buffalo sauce. There's not alot of place to eat on Grand island that has both good food and good customer service. Truly regret moving to this area. If you want good food you have to leave the island and pay toll fees leaving and coming back don't move here you will truly be disappointed at the food, customer service and Grand Island as a hole trust me you don't get what you pay for. Wife and I now looking to move to Buffalo, Lewiston or Sanborn any place would be better.

food is usually good, but the last few times my orders have been repeatedly incorrect. i understand a few mishaps, but tonight i had it. when placing my order, the employee was not attentive at all only for me to get my food and it looks like someone stepped on it. very unsatisfied.

Normally I'd give this place 4 stars. I've been coming here for many years now. On this particular night I had a party of 10 coming. I was told the long table by the dart boards was reserved already for a party. Ok, I get it... Then the waitress told me there's a long table behind me that I could have once that party leaves. So, they leave, they clean the table, and we start heading over and a different waitress says "oh this is taken". I said yeah, I spoke to the other waitress... So, they skip over us and seated another group that just walked in, when I waited 30 mins for the tables. I said to the waitress, what's going on? You said I could have the tables (as my party is standing here waiting). She flat out said "I didn't know you were sitting here waiting" then I was like you must be kidding!!!?? The. she say " I never said that and calls me a liar". Some of us are regulars here and also live on the island. She seriously needs to be a bit more professional, so uncalled for!!!

Not Kid-Friendly and Unwelcoming to Outsiders This place looks like it’s made for kids with the arcade and fun atmosphere, but don’t be fooled. When the kids actually play and make noise, they’re told to be quiet because other customers are complaining. If you’re going to market yourself as a family spot, you should expect kids to laugh and have fun. On top of that, if you’re not from the Grand Island area, it feels like you’re treated differently — not very welcoming at all. Definitely not the kid-friendly or family atmosphere it appears to be

I'm going to start this review with saying my son had a great birthday because I chose to see past the lack of customer service this establishment displayed and our waitress was great! However, the management SUCKS!!! We had been here for dinner before and my young children thought it was great, superheroes & all.. so he requested this restaurant for his birthday dinner/celebration so I checked the website, emailed the email address listed to inquire.. got an initial response within a day, telling me my options.. I replied, but CC'd my fiancé this time so he could be a part of the convo.. no response.. emailed again a week later.. no response.. my fiancé called, after speaking to about 3 different ppl and explaining what he was calling for, they said "can u just call back tomorrow, we're busy".. um ok.... I call back, speak to a young lady that apologizes for me not getting an email back because "he's busy" (why have HIS email listed then if he can't respond??) But she assured me that my reservation for 20 ppl was good bcuz there were no other reservations for that day yet and it was weeks in advance.. day of reservation comes, I call just to make sure the reservation was all set & the lady tells me there is no freaking reservation!!!..... hours before I have 20 ppl showing up!!! The lady on the phone then tells me we should be good but have to be gone by a certain time for another reservation lol.. whatever, we're there, things are fine.. bartender is nasty about getting quarters for the games in THEIR arcade.. kids are playing in THEIR arcade, spending money, having fun & some lady (manager maybe, idk but not our waitress) comes over to say the kids are being too loud (mind you theres no one else there but some ppl at the bar drinking).. Now I know they say things about Grand Island and idk, maybe because we're a mixed family & my fiance has a very non-white name and that is why they started sucking, idk but they definitely sucked throughout the whole ordeal.. luckily I didnt let it ruin my kids birthday but me, nor any of the 15 other ppl that were with me will ever be coming back there again!
