Great restaurant bar to stay after Mount Peter Ski. Menu is so affordable, the food delicious and the customer service is just unbeatable. I’ll definitely come back to Murphy’s Tavern for more.

Classic looking pub; bar was full of locals on a Monday mid afternoon, older crowd, as expected. Got the shepherds pie, which was okay but not great. Server/bartender was speedy with the service, and the food came out really quickly. I’m sure it would be busy and a great atmosphere on weekends.

Murphy's Restaurant was a great find after another spot had a long wait. The lively atmosphere and nice patio drew us in, and we were seated quickly. The nachos were delicious, though the fake cheese was a slight letdown. My chicken frances sub was flavorful with tasty fries, and my wife's cheeseburger was juicy and generous. Big portions, fair prices, and a menu with tempting appetizers and burgers make this place a must-visit. I'd definitely return to try more!

My girlfriend and I visited for the weekend along with my service animal. On our first day, we stopped by Murphy’s and enjoyed a lovely lunch on the patio. Our server, Christine B, was exceptionally kind and welcoming — her service truly stood out. We were so impressed that we decided to return the following day for drinks. Unfortunately, this experience was markedly different. We were approached by a staff member (name unknown; he had curly hair and a tattoo on his forearm) who informed us that dogs were not permitted on the patio. When we explained that we had been there the previous day and that my dog is a service animal, he responded dismissively and asked, “Oh yeah? Serving who?” — a comment that was both inappropriate and unprofessional. Thankfully, Christine intervened and addressed the situation immediately. Had she not stepped in, we would have left and taken our business elsewhere. It’s important to note that questioning someone about the purpose of their service animal is not only invasive but also highly disrespectful. We hope this feedback encourages better awareness and training for staff moving forward

Overpriced for the food that you get. It's nice for it's location and it's quite lively inside. I got the black and bleu burger which was just alright. Also there's a small menu so you should see that first before anything else

No one even acknowledged us walking in. Seated ourselves , lol. Then waited for someone to finally come over to us. After that welcoming…food was ok, It lacked in service unfortunately. Waitress seemed more inconvenienced then welcoming. The atmosphere was good local sports bar feel. They should learn to great their guest even with a nod or a hello!

The service was outstanding. The black and tan beer was an excellent pour, but the food is simply nothing special. The potato skins were under heated, the burger was ok, no wheat bread for the club sandwich. Edible, ok. Go for the beer.

Absolute shit pints of Guinness. They’ll toss you over a one part pour, no love into the pints at all. Would give a zero out of ten and a major AVOID for any Guinness drinkers. Should take the Guinness tap out all together at this stage.

I had to ask somebody to order food and it took a while before the waitress actually took my order. The “four cheese” mac and cheese was made with fake liquid cheese and the pulled pork severely lacked flavor. I am disappointed and won’t be returning.

Check your order before leaving EVERY TIME! They give you 1/2 portions and charge you full price. Ordered the chili (which is great) but literally got 1/2 a cup for $10. When I asked the waitress about it she seemed afraid to say anything to anyone. Just another restaurant going downhill.
