An excellent place for brunch. The ambiance is casual trendy, and they have a variety of seating areas, in the front and the back and mostly open air. The food here is tasty, with some unique menu items; a creative chef. I had the old fashioned coffee, which was very good and something you’d find at a top cocktail bar. There usually is a wait for brunch but they are efficient. Friendly staff, good service.

Delicious food and lovely atmosphere. Very hip and trendy and the waitstaff were extremely friendly. Could tell from what I saw at other people’s table that I would have to come back to try more off the menu! Definitely recommend.

Absolutely love this place. Great for brunch, or dinner. Coffee is fantastic. They offer 4 mimosas for price of one and on Sunday it is unlimited mimosas for the price of one. Highly recommended. I have been there 3 times in 4 weeks and will go again before I leave. (Feb 2020)

Food was decent, the service was OK, the atmosphere is very nice. I ordered a Lonche de pancita (pork belly sandwich) and got a sandwich that, in my opinion, was pork leg. I didn't want to wait to wait to discuss and maybe get a replacement sandwich, so I just went ahead and ate it. It was OK, but with the Pajarito (bottled) salsa added, the flavor improved. Their cappuccino is very delicious. The atmosphere is nice. I sat at the bar, the service was mixed, with some servers being very attentive, while my server was just OK at best. I will come back to try other items in the menu, and will seat in their patio next time.

the food here is excellent. we tried a few dishes and all of them were good, not one dish was mediocre. The coffee is good and also have a selection of tea and fresh juice. The only reason I do not give them 5 starts is the service. The restaurant was not packed or super busy, it was normal i would say and we waited about 20 min to get our order in, another 15 to wait for the few dishes they forgot to bring out and had to ask for the bill twice . The staff was friendly not rude at all just forgetful.

Great service. Good food. Very cool atmosphere. You will wait 20-60m on the weekend, so be prepared for that. The food was all delicious although some dishes stops out much more than others so I would recommend sharing with friends. Overall would come back.

Definitely a hidden gem. The food was delicious and we were seated quickly. The only area that fell short was the customer service. Our server seemed noticeably annoyed and gave off a 'not wanting to be here' vibe, even with other tables. She hardly checked in on us, which was disappointing because this could have easily been a 5-star experience. Everything else was great.

My visit to Cafe Palreal in Guadalajara left much to be desired. The food, unfortunately, fell below my expectations, with offerings that were decidedly below average in taste and presentation. It seemed like a missed opportunity for a culinary delight. The service, while not notably poor, failed to leave any lasting positive impressions. It was a functional experience, but nothing about it stood out as particularly special or attentive. The lack of exceptional service added to the overall mediocrity of the visit. In conclusion, Cafe Palreal might be an option if you're in need of a quick bite, but for those seeking a memorable culinary or service experience, there are likely better choices in the area. The cafe has room for improvement to truly stand out in the competitive food scene of Guadalajara.

Poor customer service they only had 4 tables , a lot of staff. It took them 15min to notice we were waiting to place our order. Drink we're late. Waitress awful service and they guy with glasses and tattoos was in another world in his mind. Definitely this place is not worded for me. I believe the torts ahogadas right in front gives you a better service than this piece of crappie place.
