Excellent cakes, they're not the classic ones that have been around for years, but personally I think I like them a bit more, mainly because the bread seems to be more golden brown. Their flavored waters were also excellent; I ordered the red fruit one and it was excellent.

Going on a Sunday during rush hour and being served quickly and attentively is a great way to talk about this place. Considering the size and price, you'd think it would be more of a spectacle than a taste, but it's not. Excellent seasoning. Despite being packed, there's plenty of seating (I think there are 3-4 places just for lunch), and they fill up quickly. You have to order at the register and then go find a spot. The size is perfect for two people to eat, or one if you go without breakfast. They have a great variety of sauces.

Delicious tortas locos with a special sauce topping. If you have the chance to try them, do it, but be warned, they're huge! One torta is easily enough for two people, or if you can eat the whole thing, you won't be hungry again until the next day. Located on the ground floor of the San Juan de Dios market, cash only. Highly recommended.

A delicious experience trying these tortas! I had passed by the place before but hadn't tried them, but since I passed by that time and they looked so good, today I went to the San Juan market with my dad and we were going to eat. I never imagined we would try these "tortas lokas" (crazy tortas) 🤪. They are truly delicious, with a great flavor. They aren't spicy; you decide if you want to add hot sauce 🌶, but honestly, they were perfect as they were. I saw that they also sell the famous jericayas, a very traditional dessert 🍰 from Guadalajara. I haven't tried it yet, but it looks interesting. The service was excellent; everyone was very attentive to their customers. The cleanliness was also excellent; the place is very clean, and they constantly clean the dining area. Most importantly, it's decorated with a theme related to one of the most traditional teams in the state of Jalisco, the Atlas soccer team of Guadalajara, also known as the Zorros de Guadalajara (Foxes of Guadalajara), my team since I was little. Thanks to my father, who instilled in me a love for this team from a young age. Red and black jersey 🖤♥ which I've never changed and never would because of my unconditional love for this team, and that, combined with the deliciousness 😋 of this typical Guadalajara dish, made for a delightful experience. I truly invite you to try them, not because of the team, but because of the flavor of this delicious treat. I can assure you that you won't regret this delicious experience. Go for it and enjoy!

Después de.varias vueltas por los locales de tortas en el mercado me decidí por estás y me decepcione,mucho pan y poca carne ,de hecho no hallaba la carne ,demasiada mayonesa ,no me gustaron me comí la mitad ,aunque no son tan gigantes como creen ,esmas pan que nada ,para la otra voy a probar las otras tortas que hay ahí mismo .la torta costo 80 pesos .

Nada del otro mundo. La verdad están muy grandes eso sí 10/10

Ricas tortas aunque un poco insipedas, pensé que era suficiente con la mitad por el tamaño, pero se hacen muy chiquitas a comparación de como se ven, recomiendo si te comas una solo.

Están buenas pero no riquísimas , no hay mucho espacio donde sentarse a comer

The tortas are good, filling, they just need more flavor and a little more meat... At 95 pesos for a whole torta, if you're really hungry, this is the place for you.

Tortas Ahogadas are said to be best in Guadalajara, many shops selling them everywhere. We stopped at the Super Tortas Lokas y Kalientes in the Mercado Libertad for a lunch bite while shopping. This sandwich is not only delicious, it is very ecomomical. The sandwich is large, so we split it and at $90 pesos our lunch including drinks and a sweet treat, Jericalla was under $7 US. My new go to sandwich.

No me gustaron es más pan que carne estaba demasiado seca mucha gente se me hizo eterna la espera y eso que las pedí para llevar las comí llegando a casa y me decepcionaron el pan es grande le dejan todo el migajón el pan se sentía viejo frío muy seca pica carne no me gustó que 😞

Rapidez y sabor.

La comida es aceptable, por vivir la experiencia si la recomiendo, para mi gusto les falta un poco de carne el sabor si es bueno solo la cantidad, el ambiente es como en todo el mercado, suelen estar limpiando las mesas constantemente y se acercan a preguntar si necesitas algo mas, el agua de frutos rojos resulto tener piña lo cual no fue de mi agrado porque no me lo comentaron

In truth, if they're very large, they're prepared on a large grill, so by the time they're served, they're already soaked and a little watery. I think it's more a matter of tradition than actual goodness. The typical dish is the leg, but it lacks flavor, is bland, and is half-cooked with salt and whatever sauces or chilies they give you. The service is good and friendly.

The price is affordable, but the taste leaves much to be desired, as the reviews you'd expect from the place are better. The service was quick, though. As for the sandwich itself, the cream tasted like it was past its expiration date, the meat was bland and dry. The sandwich bread, however, was a good size.

They taste like overcooked meat with watered-down mole sauce; the best part is the Coca-Cola. Plus, they get annoyed if you buy from the other stall...which isn't good either.

As for the tortas, the flavor is just okay, and there are only four types. The service leaves much to be desired. When we asked the waiter what tortas and sodas they had, he went to the next table for the menu instead of telling us the only four tortas they serve: pork loin and leg, pork loin and leg with chorizo, panela cheese, and grilled chicken breast. Furthermore, they never came back to us; we had to go looking for the waiters three times, all the way to the grills, to ask for what we needed. As a tip, the tortas are quite large; one is enough for two people.

Mi familia y yo somos clientes de años. Pero de las últimas veces que hemos comprado ya no son lo mismo de antes. Ha cambiado el sabor y calidad de sus productos. 2 ocasiones hemos comprado en la mañana y al parecer son recalentadas por que el birote esta super tieso. Y sabe del dia anterior.

Está muy mojada. aguada. Sin sabor. La carne de mira como de colores. Muy raro todo. Pero los trabajadores muy amables y eficientes.

Very large cakes and all that, but we got typhoid fever on October 23rd. We had dinner there, and the next morning, five other people and I went to the hospital. Terrible taste!! I recommend you don't go there; they're even more famous. 💩😪

Several colleagues and I went to try the supposedly delicious tortas and it turns out that the next day, everyone got sick, no one was saved from the super typhoid or hepatitis that they gave us, I recommend not going, apart from the fact that the flavor is not very good, those tortas are very overrated... I'll tell you that we all went to the IMSS :(
