It's one my top choices for GDL. The are super friendly, you can get good drinks and delicious food. The pizza salad was better than expected and the wings are worth to try. The atmosphere is enjoyable with great people!

The small curated selection of independent wine is superb. Try something new and support the smaller players. They also have a great selection of mezcal, tequila, and raicilla. Now, the food…. BOMB. Try the beef cheek dumplings and the sausage stuffed fried olives. Wonderful place. 10/10.

It’s a cool vibe and the music was cool, but so loud and the speaker quality not great, I had to leave. If you get a seat at the end of the bar, you’re also right by the passage of dirty glasses. For a wine bar, they only had 2 wine options by the glass :/

Limited wine selection by the glass, even though it’s a wine bar, but great music selection. Turbio has been at the top of my “must-visit” list in Colonia Americana. As a solo diner, I was only offered a seat at the bar. It took a while to be acknowledged and handed a menu. This “wine bar” felt more like a regular bar with some exceptions—they had a fridge with wines, but most were sold by the bottle. The menu didn’t have an explicit wine list, and choices were only available by inquiring with the server, which felt odd. When I asked for a “not too dry” wine, they only had two options: a white and a rosé that had a peculiar color, mostly because they were natural wines. I asked for a taste, and the server seemed unprepared for the request. I opted for the rosé, which was decent but nothing memorable. The music at the bar wasn’t too loud initially, but at one point, the volume got a bit overwhelming, reinforcing the feeling that this wasn’t a full-on wine bar. That said, the music selection was great and added to the overall atmosphere. Service started off average but improved towards the end of my visit. Prices for wine by the glass were around $200, which was fine, but the limited selection was disappointing, especially since I was in the mood for wine. While there were cocktails on the menu, they weren’t to my liking, further diminishing the experience of what I had hoped would be a proper wine bar.

I wish I could say I got to try their food, but the truth is it never arrived. We waited over an hour, only to find out the waiter forgot to place our pizza order. We left without eating. Such a complete lack of attention and organization. Definitely not coming back — what a total waste of time and patience.
