I was surprised by how bad the tamales were. They were usually a standard...you know, they're the result of a more industrialized process...something not quite homemade, but the experience was actually very bad.
Good place, delicious tamales, but prices are a bit high compared to the basic food basket.
It's nice to eat there, they offer all kinds of sauces, but to take away they only give you green sauce, they don't even let you choose which one you want, and the green one is the worst they have.
La verdad si tienen oportunidad de comprar,desaprovéchenla los tamales no tienen nada de sabor se desboronan todos al sacarlos de la hoja (0) recomendables

It used to be good, now it's small.
This isn't meant as destructive criticism. The owner should be more aware of what he's selling and how he's selling it. It doesn't uphold the honor of the Monterrey-style tamale. It lacks flavor and freshness throughout. It doesn't seem to have been made with the correct measurements. I've tried many tamales, but I wouldn't recommend these ones under any circumstances.

On January 6th, I wanted to treat my children to Salinas tamales, which I personally love so much... but this time I was disappointed... I bought a hundred so my family could eat until they were full... but oh, what a disappointment... more than half was just dough stuck to the husk... the tamale was impossible to enjoy. ... I was very disappointed, even though I've been eating them for over 20 years... but today I was truly disappointed...
