Guanataco has consistently served us delicious Mexican food at reasonable prices, and the service has always been great. The GP location has expanded, which is a plus, and the place is always clean. They have 2 or 3 locations in the DFW area, so stop by at any!

We had tacos and margaritas 🍹! All was delicious! Drinks actually had tequila and mango margaritas were so good! Salsas were flavorful with varying degrees of spiciness - delicious! We will definitely be back and recommend!

I am from out of town and the reviews looked promising, and boy am I glad I gave them a shot! I had the quesabirria tacos and consumé, the carne burrito, the eloté cup, and horchata. Those birria tacos were by far some of the best I’ve ever had. Perfect spice level, fantastic flavor, worth getting any time I’m in town! The burrito was huge and can feed two people, especially if you also get the eloté cup. When dipped in the consumé, it is perfect! The atmosphere was great. Lots of fun decor and the staff were super helpful and friendly. If you are craving good tacos please give this place a try. I am beyond impressed!

Food and ambiance was 10/10! Fast service and everything was so tasty. parking might be an issue outside of the restaurant but luckily there are enough surrounding businesses to park at

I enjoy trying out new locations for tacos and Guantacos is always my go too when I can’t decide on a location! The portion of meat per taco never disappoints, and salsa bar is always on point. Downside of location is there isn’t enough parking so when going try avoiding busy hours.

Guanataco was pretty good but, it was not anything spectacular from the food to the agua de limon. Almost everything lacked just a little umph to take it to the next level. The queso was the absolute best thing we had. The tacos look small but they put so much meat you could make 2 from 1. The menu was a bit overwhelming, not sure if it was the colors, the variety or just me. It’s a really cool atmosphere and vibe, the service was quick, and all the food was fresh.

10 taco special, an ordered of "birria tacos" and 1 drink $45. Parking lot is small but the place itself is big. Plenty of seating. Menu is big and can be kind of intimidating. Ordered a 10 taco special 1/2 fajita and 1/2 carnitas. Tacos were small but loaded with meat. Fajita tacos were ok but dry. The carnita tacos were not dry at all but it seemed like they were over cooked. The carnitas has a "mush" feel to them. Im used to the tortilla on my birria tacos to be a little on the crunchy side, sadly these were soft tortilla birria tacos. I will say that they were better than both the carnitas tacos and the fajitas tacos but they were still missing something. Was this place worth the $45 we paid....prob not. This place gave me a fast food type of vibe.

Tacos were meaty but lacked seasoning. Staff was very friendly and accurately filled my order. I like the variety of salsas that are offered. You choose and get your own. I like that. Prices were very reasonable. I loved that the menu had English as well.

The salsa bar was cool. The carnitas was good. The rest of the tacos we got (tongue, bistec, al pastor, barbacoa) were very bland. The environment was laid back. The tacos were filled with meat though. The horchata was too sweet. My favorite salsa was the serrano. In summary, Guanataco was ok. I expected more after reading all of the reviews here. I would come back to try something else, but still prefer another taqueria closeby more.

There are plenty of other latin restaurants to go to that dont have rude staff. Not a good place for placing to go orders as they are greedy with how many salsa cups they give you.

Worst food ever. The tortilla is raw, not even cooked. The meat looks like they kept it in the fridge and microwaved the tacos. The tacos were served in less than 10 minutes. And the orchata is not even authentic its like water with flavoring

Now I know why I have not came in a long time! This is the Last time I come here. Place is overrated. Got the Watermelon drink and taste like water, no flavor and asked for no ice and got a half cup not even topped off. Food has no flavor! Fries were not cooked all The way! Feel like ima throw up! Update: I got sick an hour later! Love the atmosphere. The layout of soda fountain vs. straws and utensils threw me off but I’m a big boy and figured it out. I ordered the Sopes plate with carne asada and rice/beans. The sides were mixed in a cup which works for me but my wife would hate it if she were with me. Rice was bland and something I would expect from a fast food chain. Sopes were so loaded that I decided to use a knife but couldn’t cut it due to them using burger baskets and paper and not plates. I decided to eat off the top and then hold them after. Carne asada was dry as if it were previously cooked and re grilled. I’ll give it another shot and try the tacos next time.

Place is overrated! Food has no flavor , has a lot of grease. Service bad! I got a horchata and it was literally water with milk no kind of taste took the cup full of it back and the guy said he couldn’t do anything no kind of refund or replacement. The cilantro was half black and half green. The limes all brown and dried. Tacos all cold. Wack food and wack place!
