We visited this restaurant on the last evening of our vacation, and the name was a fitting fit. The atmosphere is exquisite, the staff is very friendly, and the à la carte menu, while traditional, is a bit sophisticated. There's also a typical menu and a set menu of the day, which are excellent alternatives. The wine list is extensive. Finally, the music we enjoyed throughout our meal was delightful. When we return to Gubbio, we'll definitely stop by to say hello to the owner, who carefully explained the dishes and recommended the right wine pairing.

A small but well-maintained restaurant, right on Gubbio's main street. Excellent traditional dishes at a fair price. I must especially praise the service: the waiters, despite their young age, were impeccable, always kind, attentive, and helpful. We never needed to call them because they constantly kept an eye on the tables, trying to make the atmosphere as welcoming as possible. TOP!

I stopped by this restaurant on a solo day trip and just walked in for lunch—what a lovely surprise. They had a truffle menu set, and honestly, it turned out to be one of the best meals I’ve ever had. I’m usually quite picky when it comes to food, but every single dish was spot on. So much flavour, beautifully presented, and perfectly balanced. I only wish I had more room to finish everything—I was completely full by the end, which was a bit of a shame because I didn’t want to leave anything behind. The service was excellent too—professional and attentive without being overbearing. The restaurant itself was beautiful too- I loved the Italian music played in the background 😊. If I ever travel back to Gubbio, I’d definitely come back. Thank you for such a memorable experience.

Amazing experience to dine in this restaurant. The service was exceptional and the food was amazing as well. We chose the truffle menu, so we could try truffle in so many different ways even on the top of tiramisu. I highly recommend trying truffle in this restaurant

It's simple but curated. The menu offers several local flavors but they also present daily combos that are very much worth exploring. This restaurant had a very spacious and clean bathroom complete with baby changing table (stocked with diapers and talc powder). The food was well presented and quite flavorful. The restaurant offered a work in progress wine cart with quality choices yet a tad bit pricey. I highly recommend it for those in search of a quiet place to have good conversation during a quality meal.

I have been there a couple of times and it was great. I ate their mortadella and pistachio pizza and it was like a trip. Their meat was awesome too. Good service and value for money. Suggested!

Locale molto carino e ben curato sulla via del centro. Sembra un po’ turistico ma in realtà la cucina è molto curata e raffinata. Carbonara di buona qualità, amatriciana anch’essa molto buona. Servizio abbastanza rapido. Mi sono trovato bene anche se il prezzo è secondo me un po’ troppo alto.

A good restaurant located in the center of Gubbio. The interior is charming and elegant, and the staff is friendly and fast. The dishes are good, and they have a delicious crescia (I think that's what it's called). We tried it with a platter of cured meats and cheeses, and the first course was a combo menu for €19, which was overall good. Recommended. The only downside is that if you don't eat inside, you're practically eating on the street in the middle of traffic.

Locale accogliente, cibo buono ma il prezzo di alcune piatti è troppo alto rispetto cio che viene servito. Una piccola porzione di spinaci, 8euro. Entrecote servita su un piatto che si era riempito del sangue di cottura della carne. Richiesta cottura media e comunque il sangue sul piatto non doveva esserci. I ragazzi/e del servizio sono gentili, ma completamente inesperti. Da un bel locale al Centro di Gubbio con molte potenzialità mi sarei aspettata di pagare un conto (alto) ma di qualità. Ci tornerò sperando di fare arrivare a 5stelle la mia recensione

The welcome was sketchy. The food descriptions were unclear. A bit expensive for what was offered, both in terms of quality and quantity. Water in a carafe (served in an open bottle) cost €2.50, the same as a sealed bottle. The drying rack is fine for two if you just want to sample something; the cheese selection is very limited compared to the cured meats.

Durante tutto il servizio non ci è stato mai chiesto se andasse tutto bene, finito di mangiare il cameriere ha portato via velocemente i piatti senza dire niente. Avremmo voluto ordinare almeno un'altra portata da dividere, due dolci e un caffè, eppure non c'è stato nessun interesse di essere serviti. Non eravamo fuori orario e c'era poca gente, per un totale di coperto pagato 5 EURO mi dispiace ma non è accettabile. Posto carino nell'arredamento, cibo ok, ma servizio non buono, siamo stati ignorati, ci spiace e parlo da persona che ha lavorato nel settore per anni. Magari è più un posto per turisti e persone avanti con l'età, viste anche le canzoni sicuramente allegre ma dai testi sessisti.

Arrivati al locale puntuali per la prenotazione delle ore 21, abbiamo ricevuto il tavolo poco prima delle 22. Il primo piatto è arrivato 22:45. L'incredibile giustificazione della titolare è che prima del nostro arrivo hanno dato dei tavoli a persone che avevano prenotato per la sede di Roma. Il servizio è stato nel caos fino all'ultimo.Vista l'ora, abbiamo ordinato una sola (buona) pietanza ed un dolce.

We visited this restaurant on December 28th, in the midst of the Christmas festivities. The crowds certainly didn't help the staff's performance. The wait times were biblical (over half an hour for four tozzetti with two glasses of Vin Santo, because they'd forgotten which course we'd arrived for), and the pasta with wild boar ragù arrived cold, overcooked, and with a ragù that, both in taste and appearance, resembled the ones prepared in a jar (to be fair, we were asked if we wanted the dish back, but we declined due to the delay in bringing the courses). When we informed the cashier of this at checkout (because they'd asked how our lunch had gone), we were met with the response, "But all restaurants use ready-made sauces" and "Were you in a hurry for dessert?" In short, not exactly professional. The only positive note is the cold cuts, crescia, and all the dishes not prepared by them (since the second course was passing off pancetta as guanciale). The price, however, is no less than other typical and daily menus at other restaurants in the area, which definitely offer better quality and the attitude of some of the staff. Not recommended.

Worst pizza I have ever eaten, what a terrible place! I have always had great pizzas throughout Italy but this was greasy and tasteless. Also the staff are very rude so do NOT eat here. They will probably write a bad response to this review calling me a liar as that’s what they seem to do if anyone complains...

PLEASE READ, AVOID! Was polite and explained to the chef why the pizza was inedible, it was greasy, toppings were pathetic and it was €20 . Was then physically assaulted whilst my son cried. About as bad as an experience can be. You read bad restaurant reviews, where you might go home hungry, but not ones where the chef pushes you and causes your 9 year old to cry. None of the chefs wearing masks or gloves. Would highly recommend if you enjoy spreading viruses during pandemics, having children in fits of tears and being assaulted. Edit.... Customers are of no value to this restaurant, as demonstrated by the response.
