We try to come at least once every other week since we live in about 25minutes away. We love this place. The people here are awesome! The food is consistent and delicious. The waffles are fresh. The fries are crispy. I love personally love their pasta options. I usually get the palermo and abruzzo. Both amazing and always tastes just like the last visit.. We have also tried several breakfast items and they are great size for the price. Definately go and try them out!
We visited this place on Black Friday. We didn’t want to shop we wanted to go to the ocean. On the way tor he beach we stopped by Mavericks. We were glad we did. My daughter had one of their Savory Crepes and really enjoyed it. My wife ordered their French Toast with Walnuts which she liked and there were 6 pieces. I had a Denver Omelette with potatoes and Wheat Toast (excuse the Ketchup in the picture - I dug in before remembering to take a picture). The coffee is also really good also. If you are in the area - stop by you won’t be disappointed- in my opinion.
We had the oatmeal pancakes and the blackstone benedict. Both delicious. Service was very good (only note was that the food didn’t come out at the same time but with a few minutes difference). The place has a very chill vibe. I wouldn’t call it a very cozy spot, but it is clean and simple.
I visited Mavericks Creperie for the first time on Saturday morning for breakfast, as a recommendation from the folks at Seahorse Ranch, and it was FANTASTIC! I consider myself a breakfast connoisseur and it’s rare for a breakfast place to earn five (5) stars from me because I’m such a picky breakfast sycophant! As you can see from the pictures, Mavericks Creperie really does breakfast well. From the outside, Mavericks is unassuming because it sits in a strip mall. The restaurant is quaint with adequate seating. While I was there, I saw the restaurant accommodate parties as small as two (2) and as large as seven (7). Mavericks is a family run business and the customer service was fantastic. Everyone there was friendly, kind, and genuine in their desire to assist customers. Now, let’s get to the good stuff, the food. My absolute favorite dish was the original pancakes. They were so LIGHT, FLUFFY, and AIRY. These pancakes were thick and made with love. I also got the Baja Omelette with egg whites (which I substituted at no extra cost), and it was also amazing. My wife ordered the French toast with bacon and potatoes, which, you guessed it, was also fantastic. Mavericks is GENEROUS with their portions and it’s really worth the money. I can’t wait to go back!!!
Nice spot for breakfast in Half Moon bay. They have plenty of options for all tastes. We loved the Nutella strawberry banana crepe. From the salty side we went with the basics eggs Benedict They have a patio and a Peets coffee on the side for those who wants a fancy coffee.
Good crepery in Half Moon Bay if you’re looking for breakfast, brunch, or lunch. We tried two of their crepes, perfectly done. Comes with a side of potatoes and salads. Honestly enough to share one between two people. Crepe was thin and nicely cooked. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Service was a bit slow, did seem like they were understaffed.
Great breakfast place in a busy location. Waitress was awesome and the food was delicious. No complaints, except for them being out of hot chocolate. 10/10 would recommend

Best Oatmeal Pancakes that I have ever had. Delicious savory and sweet crepes. We drove 2.5 hours just to come back for the food and we’ll do it again.

Had the Tuscany crepe, gluten free. This savory crepe with chicken pesto and tomato was very tasty. Served with potatoes and mixed greens. Casual atmosphere. You walk up and order your food and seat yourself. They serve your food and coffee. Everyone in our group loved their food.
This place is AMAZING! A must stop for breakfast or lunch while you are in HMB. The food is so so delicious and you can tell the ingredients are fresh. The decor is cute and comfortable and the place is always very clean. We have had both breakfast and lunch here and you cannot go wrong. The burger and sandwiches are the best in the area and the breakfast burrito is mouth watering. We like to also get a sweet crepe to share as dessert with our meals. Do not skip this place!!
Love the breakfast here! It’s my go-to spot! Staff is attentive and friendly. You can tell they care about the quality, the portions are generous, I’m really impressed with everything I get when I come here. I recommend the El Paso, Denver omelette, breakfast chorizo burrito and the buttermilk pancakes are top notch.
Wonderful drive to Mavericks,😍🥰simply a beautiful day!!! And the vibe there was truly awesome!!! Family and good friends atmosphere and the food options were great!!! I had the chorizo plate, 😋it was sooooo good!!! I cannot wait to go back!!!😁

These ladies are delightful and pay attention to every detail. They take really good care of their customers. The food is delicious, with the Half Moon Bay crepe being my usual go-to. Highly recommend for breakfast/brunch/lunch! :)

The food was really tasty and quite healthy with lots of salad. Especially the French Fries are really crispy and yummy. The only thing I find strange is that it is almost self service but they still expect you to give at least 18% tips. It was also quite cold so minus one star.
Came here for Sunday brunch and really enjoyed the Half Moon Bay crepe, but would have loved to have a little less red onion and a bit more smoked salmon in the crepe. Fries were super crispy and delicious.
tried their local favorite crepe riviera . It was ok. Will try Nutella flavor next time. Ambiance is good and light. Family friendly and ample space to sit, You need to order at the counter first and sit where you want.

Decent eggs benedicts, with slightly dry potatoes. Unfortunately, the crepe we ordered was below average. The cream was not authentic, the ice cream was low quality, and needed more nutella.
The food was great and tasty, but the 1-hour wait after ordering was too long. It would have been appreciated if the staff had checked in halfway through to update us on the delay and apologize, but that didn’t happen. The team was clearly working hard, but it seemed like they might have been slightly understaffed.
Decided to try here for brunch on Sunday, Memorial Day weekend, based on Google reviews and also support the biz. I'm unclear of the high ratings. The waffle with whip cream and fresh strawberries, $12, were uneventful for our palates. Plus, it arrived barely warm, which the butter struggled to melt and the waffle itself was not as crunchy. Taste was similar to any homemade waffle....3*. The Half Moon Bay smoked salmon crepe wasn't too savory as advertised. Our tastebuds did not jump for joy or excitement. It wasn't bad but wasn't exciting either, 3*. Service: must have been really busy cuz service was struggling as well, but when it was good when delivered.
The food was okay. The service was poor. We never got any waters and sides on our food were missing. It was less of a brunch spot and more like a self service restaurant. We got the Coronado omelette (it was okay) and the Cyprus savory crepe with avocado. The savory crepe was delicious but they forgot the avocado and only served it half way through the meal (even though we complained about it as soon as we got the food). Not the best brunch experience.
I want to give 4 stars but our Corned beef hash and pancakes were ordinary. The kid though loved her pasta. The corned beef was just dry strips of meat but the potatoes was delicious. The pancakes were ordinary. I would try something else next time. I love the big cup of coffee and the atmosphere and the clean restroom.

The person taking orders is grumpy and seems a little angry, definitely not enjoying her job. The chili black bean soup was beans in a broth no chilies, onions, or anything besides a large bowl of beans, boring and bland. I want to support and like this local place but every time we come, the staff feels unwelcoming and distracted (unprofessional). The sandwiches are quite good though and large portions.
