We dropped by from visiting. We dropped by for a small bite it was very tasty packed with flavor. This will be our go to Thai food fix when we hang out at the beach.

This was a great find for me because I prefer the legit small restaurant feel and that's what I got. The service was quick, very polite and they helped me make up my mind on what to order. The food was super good, you could taste the spice, but not overwhelming. If you are a fire breather, you would need to request more spice. Portion was more than I could eat in one sitting, but I got it boxed up and all was good. Great service. Helpful and attentive, but not hovering.

If it's the same place, back in 1999 we had lunch there. The kids wanted KFC but we wanted Thai. We asked the owner if the kids could bring the KFC in. He agreed straightaway, not wanting to lose a sale. And generate a lot of goodwill in the process. A lot of other places could learn a bit.

It's recommended for families. This is the place for traditional Thai food. The food was well prepared; the portion was enough for everyone. The new Thai fish dish is delicious. Try it when you visit Half Moon Bay.

I had one of the duck entrees for lunch yesterday. It was juicy and finger-licking, suck-you-lent good. My wife made reservations at the front window for her son's birthday. He has been to Thailand and thought the food was authentic. Waiter was attentive, respectful and helpful. Steady business. All 5 of us were happy, including 4 adults and a one-year-old.

Quiet today, courteous and prompt service, and the food was wonderful…and plentiful! Had Pad Thai lunch w/ veg soup. Lots of veggies and tofu in the noodles.

Cute little restaurant away from the busy downtown Half Moon Bay area. I ordered the Larb salad and they were able to make it with tofu instead of meat which was awesome! I ordered spice level 3 out of 5 and that was perfect (for me). Customer service was really friendly and helpful, the restaurant was very clean also!

Decent Thai place in Half Moon Bay! Food taste amazing, the service is fast and the prices are reasonable. We opened it for ourselves craving for good meal after a long active day on the beach and it didn’t disappoint. I chose green curry with lamb and was more than happy with its reach and flavorful taste. My husband got Pad Thai and also was fascinated with it tasting it with peanut sauce. Overall it was great experience and we gonna come there again.

This was so good!!! Best Thai food we have ever had, and I don't say that lightly. Service was excellent. Probably one of the most respectful server at any business I've been to. They have a new lifelong customer!!!

I am a local and have been to this restaurant many times. I love the food, especially pineapple curry, pad Thai, tom yum and tom kha and tofu satay. Portions are generous and service is great. This is not a fine dining place though - it is a bit run down and could be neater. If you don’t mind that come for great food!

Local hotspot. Vegetarian. Gluten free options. Generally busy during dinner hours. Highly recommend anything off the curry section, and the pineapple fried rice is 🍍🍚👌 Overall great spot for some good old fashioned Thai Iced Tea~ 🍵

Pad thai is good.. add chili spice to taste. Serving size is big for a medium built asian. Price is typical lunch Special in other restairants

Solid Thai food that's been consistent over the years. My family has been coming here every time we visit HMB for the Art and Pumpkin festival. We came here during lunch and were seated quickly. Servers were friendly. We ordered several dishes. Our family favorite was the fried tofu, vegetarian egg rolls, fried chicken over rice and tofu pad Thai. We'll be back again.

The taste was there but was a little surprised by the little potion of each dish compare to the other Thai restaurants I went to. Ordered chicken tom kha for ($17.95), pad Thai ($13)Yum woon Sen($14.95), Green Curry Tofu ($14.95),a small bowl of rice ($3). All dishes tasted good, just a little disappointed by the potion, especially the Yum Woon Sen - the glass noodle was laid on a bed of lettuce to appear more, very deceiving. Shrimps were over cooked.

Ordered the garlic mixed seafood entree, drunken noodles with beef and papaya salad. Everything texturally was spot on but the flavors were relatively muted and definitely catered to a more western palette. Wished they would incorporate more spice or offer some spicy sauce on the side. Food came out quickly for our takeout order which was appreciated.

We ordered the yellow and the green curry. The green curry was delicious! The yellow curry had a good taste, but seemed a little oily. Overall the food was good. Wish they had some outdoor tables nearby.

We tried Thai food at Half Moon Bay on a Winter noon. The satay was very delicious, the soup could have better, the noodles and green curry was average.

What we initially ordered was very spicy so they took it back and brought a milder one which I appreciated. The restaurant itself looks rundown, and they haven't maintained it properly. The milder food was decent however.

I went in to purchase a Thai tea drink and was told I could not make a purchase with credit card unless it's over $10. So I ordered the chicken skewers on the appetizer menu and waited roughly 10 minutes until I was served. The food was good but I was charged $21's for a small Thai tea and a small portion of chicken on 5-6 sticks. The Thai tea was $5 alone and is a very small cup.

We had lunch here today and ordered spicy squid salad, spicy basil duck, and volcanic beef. The flavor was uninspiring, too sweet and not spicy at all. The squid was rubbery and had a fishy smell. Worst thing was the volcanic beef, which was super chewy and not the "premium flank steak" according to the menu. Won't go back.

I am a big fan of Thai food and have eaten all over places in SF Seattle and NYC. This was probably the worst Cashew Nut I have eaten. Other dishes my friends ordered were equally bad. Avoid this place. It has fake reviews too that deceived us to go there. My cashew nut was boiled - who does that man?!

She was extremely insulting and annoyed about how the waiter showed be given more money. I am shocked to see such behavior where customers are yelled upon and humiliated. The tip is provided to the waiters as an extra token of appreciation to their service not as a basic means of income itself. This is a message to all the waiters working here that if you aren’t getting paid atleast minimum wage or over then please look for a new workplace you deserve. Yes, a good customer service is as worthy as good food. Amazing Thai food restaurant at half moon bay! It’s a small place but totally worth your expectations for a good Thai food. Clean place and healthy staff. Open till 9:30pm. Best of all they have a huge vegetarian menu. Ordered tofu fresh spring rolls comes with tamarind sauce, tofu satay with peanut sauce (my favorite), pad ke mao (delicious drunken noodles), basil fried rice (very fresh and aromatic). The appetizers came in large portions but the entrees were in medium portions. Definitely recommend this place to everyone. Will visit again.
