What Huw Thomas below says is true - people must be mixing up the tapas bar with the restaurant next door with the same name. The tapas bar is excellent - the best mushrooms I’ve ever eaten in my life, very friendly lads behind the bar, you just need to check out the QR code for the menu and order from them. Good prices, great food & brilliant ambiance at 8.30 on a Wednesday night. Highly recommend!!

Very tasty, great atmosphere - not crowded thank God - and standard price. The waitress was pretty friendly and helpful. Puerritos, tomato salad and mushrooms, my three favourites. My online no-so-good item, the bread a bit ‘meah’. Totally recommended place.

Amazing food, freshly grilled. Great meat and lots of non meat options like grilled octopus, scallops and mushrooms are must have.

Came here for some quick Tapas. Did some bar hopping to get the most of Haro during our four-night stay. And it is a pretty good Tapas Bar. Ok, some we like more ... but some other less as well. Took a table outside, since we were travelling with our Bulldog. Had two glasses of white Muga (always a good choice), a Tapa with tomato chutney and Blue Cheese, another one with Brie cheese with Jamon. But were very good, but the jamon/brie was just and unusual, yet great combination. Good stuff. Had some other interesting items on the Tapas Menu. And it's not just a Tapas Bar but a full restaurant. But this time we just couldn't make it...had plans already. Might come back next time for more.

Nice place to have a quick dish. I order Entrecot and it was quiet good. Service tho could be better… overall, we had a nice lunch.

It turns out that pretty much all the restaurants here shut on a Monday! This was one of the few options available. We had a decent burger and chips and nice beer on tap. You have to go up to the counter to order. My Spanish is very basic so we had a good game of charades. The barman was very nice and patient with me.

Some of the reviews have clearly confused the small tapas bar with the restaurant of the same name next door. The tapas bar is small, frequented by locals and unlike any other we saw here or elsewhere in Spain the food is cooked on the plancha to order. And it’s fresh - a lovely display of clams, prawns, squid, pork kebabs etc. Some attention needs to be given to the cooking of shellfish and meat in the same area as it could be a bit dodgy for people will allergies. The mushrooms, prawns and pork kebabs were delicious, however. The old guy, who I assume is the owner, creates a bad atmosphere behind the counter, giving orders, interfering and being generally irritating to the other staff while adding no value. He should just come the other side, have a drink and chill out. It makes entertaining viewing though. The the best food we ate in Haro (tapas or restaurant) in 3 days.

There are tables, but you will need to help yourself! Infrastructure is good. No servirce and expensive for the quality of the food.

After 10 years of returning here, NEVER again. What is this crazy idea of self service? There is no service, the food OK, ambience now zero. Pathetic.
