Right on the bike lane. Bike rack right out front. The decaf espresso was the best I’ve ever had. Peanut butter cookie was on point! Blueberry bran muffin was delicious. Loved the graphic design. Super nice and quick barista.

Great spot that was converted from an old auto shop. Coffee was good, food was great, seating options were plentiful. They have patio seating and indoor spots. The breakfast burrito was big and tasty (a little messy).

The cookies… oh my. Tried the Oreo sandwich, choc chip, and chocolate with 🥜 butter. All were delicious. Now I want to go back and try more. The worker was super friendly when telling us about all pastry options! Tons of seating. Would definitely go back to do work and also try the food.

I love both BOLT locations, but the one in Hermosa is my favorite of the two. In fact, it's my favorite coffee shop to work out of in the South Bay. Location: I love that it is walking distance to the beach. Parking is super easy with meters all around and free street parking on Herondo an ~8 minute walk away. Facilities: Look at the photos! Quick pick-up and go cafe side on the left with seating and more seating inside, both countertop and regular tables with inside and outdoor options. The "inside" opens up to the outside so there is a constant cool breeze, especially pleasant when it's sunny out. Three bathrooms. Food: I've only tried the baked goods, coffee and tea. Love that they have gluten free and vegan options. The magic bar is neither, but I am a fan. Service: Everyone is SO nice! Wifi: Great wifi and hotspot works well here too :)

Randomly stopped by Bolt walking by and picked up a delicious rocky road cookie. I don’t like marshmallows but they let me know it wasn’t chunks, instead it was melted throughout. Delish! Excited to try other items on the menu.

Dinner was incredible! The brisket was unreal tender, all of the sides were excellent. Drink selection is nice too. We will definitely be back! (this is also our regular coffee shop - coffee and pastries are amazing)

I was pleased to see the sign saying Breakfast Served All Day Mac was the best ! I felt totally welcome in a friendly atmosphere. Mac politely explained the ordering process and dining arrangements then served the most delicious glass of fresh squeezed orange juice along with hefty Breakfast Burrito.

This place has great vibes, great food, great service and a sweet atmosphere. They have 4 different looks to have breakfast or lunch, with a takeout counter, indoor area, outdoor area and sort of flex like spot. I had a regular latte, fresh squeeze juice and their Bolt Ultimate Breakfast Sandwich. It was all great. Have a feeling we’re going to be frequenting this spot a lot as locals.

Introduced to this breakfast brunch lunch place in Hermosa Beach. Five star visit previously but today’s special beef brisket taco breakfast was slightly disappointing as the brisket was dry pieces of meat. Coffee is excellent and I like the quiet patio out the back. Staff have always been friendly and helpful.

We were excited to try this spot after reading other reviews and did a pickup order, but were sadly underwhelmed. We ordered the pancakes, French toast, and brisket tacos. All were just OK. The brisket in the tacos was overcooked and dry and the tacos lacked flavor overall. Might give this one another go in-person.

Decent Coffee. I hate when the charge you a full price over $6 but give you a smaller cup :-(( How much the make on you buy saving on little more milk? 20 cents!

Iced coconut matcha latte very good. Avo toast with a poached egg decidedly not good. Egg was way over and toast was hard, roof-of-mouth-destroyer kind of bread. It’s forgivable because Hermosa. I’ll probably go back to BOLT it’s charming enough and order different food.

The staff, food, atmosphere, and location are all great. However, the coffee is not good. Which is problematic for a coffee shop.

We stopped in here for breakfast while on vacation. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The prices of everything were a little on the high side for a quick service place. The food was a little on the bland side. The coffee was very, very hot. Decent coffee. The atmosphere is horrible. It's VERY dark inside. This was a weekday morning, and almost every other person in there was working remotely, and some were taking rather loud and long business calls. They have a communal table along with other tables around the perimeter of the inside of the restaurant. All the individual tables were full of people with laptops. The communal table had two people also working remotely on laptops sitting at opposite ends. It was very awkward sitting there trying to have breakfast when you felt like you were in someone's office space. Honestly, we felt like we were intruding. We would've sat outside if it hadn't been pretty chilly and damp out. That alone is enough for me to not want to go back. I think it would be a lot better if the atmosphere were inviting and didn't have a open concept workspace feeling.
