Large variety of baked goods as well as individual cakes. Savory and sweet choices. Croissants are larger than average, amazing. Chocolate croissant had Nutella filling. Outdoor seating ìn no-car zone, with umbrellas and plenty of space. Price very reasonable.
Stopped by each of the 2 days I was in town. Sweetest, most kind family owned place with amazing desserts & pastries and espresso!!! Next time I’ll try the hot menu!!
This place is the self-declared "pâtisserie française" of Hermosa Beach... or Santa Monica... or LA. Who knows, they probably don't either. Now, when a place claims Parisian roots, it sets the bar somewhere between the Eiffel Tower and pretentious perfection. So no, I'm not giving five stars for the croissant, tarte aux fruits, or pain aux raisins. It doesn’t look French, it doesn’t smell French, and it definitely doesn’t taste French. But that’s okay, because this isn’t Paris - it’s California, where "authentic" often just means it came with almond milk. That said, on the other hand, their smoothies are the absolute stars. Better than anything I’ve ever had in Paris, where a smoothie usually means someone just handed you a room-temperature banana and shrugged. The pastries here had been American-sized for your pleasure. Quality may have taken a back seat to bulk, but hey, that’s the same trade-off they make in France when they try to serve a pumpkin spice latte. Balance in the universe. Big points for their veggie-packed salads, giant samosa variants, toast game, and pretty solid scrambles. But if you’re going to offer gluten-free options, maybe don’t look shocked when someone actually asks for one. California dreamers are used to chasing kale clouds and oat milk rainbows, and this café fits right in. So sip, lean, stare into the ocean - and if you're pretending to be in Paris, don’t worry. Everyone else here is pretending too. Bon appétit, or at least bon vibes.
Favorite spot in LA to eat breakfast/lunch. Everything is delicious and there are so many options you just want to keep coming back to try more. Croissants, pastries, paninis, salads, and coffees all highly recommended.
Coffee is better then Starbucks!! the owner GABRIEL is super nice and keeps this place super clean. Staff is nice and friendly. The pastries are yummy but also the salads are fresh and healthy. This location is outstanding you can seat out in the patio and enjoy the ocean view and the amazing freedom breeze !! Stop and visit thank me later ! 😌
The real taste of the French pastries! I for the first time taste the real French pastry flavor out of Paris. The seating outside the restaurant where the fresh air close to the ocean is just amazing. This cafe is awesome, a little expensive but I believe for the taste and the location it is certainly worth it.
Sweet little café along the popular Hermosa pier. Good pastries and super yummy drinks. I got the Mexican spice hot cocoa and it was super delish. We went early morning and it was misty out. We sat outside. It was a beautiful morning. Super nice staff.
The cafe smells good…it is clean and the choice of music while we waited was nice! I got dark brew and a strawberry cheese 🧀 croissant 🥐 It was ti die for… YUMMY 😋
Good stuff. Lovely place to sit. If you want to take out, it’s right on the pier. Has a beautiful view. Cute patio. The owner is very kind. Tasty and fresh Parisian goods! They had some other good stuff on their menu for breakfast and lunch, however none are halal. But they do have a good variety of vegetarian options 8/10
Quiche is awesome. The cappuccino is not bad either. Heads up: the quiche tasted stale and I was not sure if it safe to finish it when I returned for an evening snack. Bummer. It was $13 with a low ROI. Service can be slow. However it is popular. The coffee beans are by Lavazza
Fun local coffee shop ( Really... they do lunch & more) Yummy coffee. Decadent Pastries- (almond croissant!!!) Light Euro Centric fare - outdoor patio on Pier Plaza 5 doors down to Hermosa Beach Pier. Pier Ave here is walk in only. Park in structure or lot to the North. Dog friendly & a beautiful setting w/ no cars driving by

Great spot if you want to work by the beach and grab a coffee. The muffin was great not too sweet, big and fluffy.
Great coffee, chai, pastries, and healthy lunch options. Salmon salad was amazing. Cool vibe in the whole plaza.
Morning croissant (chocolate with almonds) probably the heaviest, doughiest thing I ever ate . What has happened to the delightful - light and refined pastries you use to make ?
Great spot right by the Hermosa Beach pier. Quick service and excellent food. I had the spinach and feta omelette on my first visit and it was so delicious, I went back the next day and had it again! Friendly and courteous staff. Thanks.
Coffee was okay, my hazelnut latte has a lot of milk than I prefer. But their hot cocoa was better. I recommend the apricot croissant, its sooo good! They have savory breads and ice cream as well. Plenty of seating inside and even outside by the patio. Service was fast and friendly.
On a cold breezy evening the warmth of this coffee shop feels so good. My expectations were set high because of the bright fluffy pastries in the display case. We ordered a Creme Bruelle and Apple Crumb Cheesecake.. plus a latte and cappuccino. Overall, I give the food and experience a B. Nothing bad to say.. just not grade A worthy.
Came here to meet folks before a bike ride. We sat outside and they brought our drinks outside. The pastries were tasty. The service was friendly. The restrooms were clean.

Small flat white was smooth and well-made. A bit too smooth (watery? or only single shot?) but real coffee

Stopped by here to get coffee for my husband. I saw red velvet cake and coundn't resist it. My husband liked his drip coffee. Unfortunately, the cake tasted dry and I didn't like it. It was especiallly disappointing because red velvet cake is my favorite. I only had one cake so maybe other items are good.

Incredibly expensive and mediocre quality drinks and pastries. I don't recall being asked what size to choose from for the matcha latte, so we were charged $8.75 for the (presumably) size large matcha + $1.50 for oat milk, which is absurd. According to the menu outside, the largest size should have been $7.75 (medium being $6.75 and small being $5.75), however there is an asterisks at the bottom of the menu stating they may increase prices due to costs of ingredients. Regardless, we had to go back for an itemized receipt because we were in disbelief of how a single pastry and a drink added up to $17. The almond croissant was pretty but did not taste very fresh, I feel that we could get the same quality from a grocery store. The matcha is a dull green color. There is plenty of seating available outside and it's dog friendly, and the service is solid. However, I will not be coming back here and I would not recommend this place.

My friend and I ordered vanilla lattes, and unfortunately we didn’t enjoy them this time. I usually come here and the coffee is good, which is why this was disappointing. The drinks were very watery, and although an extra shot was added to fix them, we were charged extra and the taste didn’t improve.
Can the owner please install some fly traps⁉️⁉️⁉️ there are concerning number of flies in the outside seating area. The staff never sweeps any of the crumbs and attracts lots of bugs and flies. I will remove this review once something is done about it. It makes sitting out there very unpleasant. They also bite your feet and ankles..
