Was Kunden über La Vaca Brava sagen

We were in Hervás on Saturday. We went without a reservation, they had an opening because someone had cancelled, and what a great find! The service was excellent and the food was fantastic. We ordered lamb chops, mixed grill, chorizo, and salad. We'll definitely be back.
100% recommended. Reasonable prices, very good mixed salad, top-notch ham and cheese, and a delicious ribeye steak. What I want to emphasize most is the service from the owner, Juan Carlos, who is a true professional, a great wine connoisseur, and an even better person.
We came from Seville to enjoy Hervás. And the food, the staff, and the owner were absolutely spectacular. I'm giving it a 10 because it won't let me give it more. The lamb chops were amazing! 😁 The entrecote was beyond words. If you want great food, friendly service, and quality cuisine, Don't hesitate and make a reservation. Thank you so much for the excellent service and your kindness! ✨🍂🎒
Very good service, we got everything right. We ordered the snout, and it's been years since I've had it so well cooked. Crispy and exquisitely flavored. The green salad was perfect, and the cheese was a delight to the palate. We'll definitely be back because we have to try the other delicacies on the menu.
"Excellent restaurant in the center of Hervás" Our arrival at this restaurant was very pleasant; in fact, we took advantage of the entrance to take a photo, which turned out beautifully. Upon entering, we were surprised by the aroma of the embers that greeted us. We ordered a wine to pair with the food, and we chose a bottle aged on its lees, which provided an aromatic and unctuous complexity that perfectly accompanied each dish. We enjoyed grilled meat cooked over oak wood, and an asparagus salad to balance the fat of the meat. The waiter, Juan Carlos, was kind enough to offer us a couple of pieces of cured sheep's milk cheese, which paired wonderfully with the Godello de Valdeorras. For dessert, we ordered custard and profiteroles accompanied by vanilla ice cream and red berries. Afterwards, we were offered shots and three generous glasses. I would especially like to highlight Juan's kindness. Carlos, your excellent service and professionalism. He's an "old school" kind of guy, something that unfortunately is increasingly rare these days. Definitely a restaurant we'll return to. Best regards, and thank you very much for reading!
A place with a peculiar decoration, a very good experience, the meat was very tasty and cooked to perfection. We had the grilled meat for 2, a cheese plate, and a chorizillo, all delicious. Fast service and friendly staff. For dessert, we ordered rice pudding and serradura. Excellent value for money. We will definitely return.
Recomendable reservar!
Fast service, all the meats were well-cooked and of good quality, although the potatoes could be homemade. The best part of the meal was the grilled chorizo and the pork belly. Highly recommended!
Homemade food and good service. The place is a bit basic and rustic. You have to book for the weekend as it gets very busy. The waiters are friendly and the service is fast. Pork galore...
- Food: We ordered the grilled meat for two. The portion was very good, but the meat wasn't some of the best I've ever eaten, and it didn't come with any side dishes (no potatoes or salad). The zorza was very strong, and the grilled ear didn't have much flavor. The desserts were homemade and very tasty. - Service: We arrived quite late and received service just the same. Overall, it was good. - Atmosphere: It's an old-fashioned place with a quirky decor. We ordered for two people: grilled meat for two, bread, homemade custard, serradura, and water. The total was €38.30.
A very unique place, from the entrance to the back of the restaurant. The food is quite good, especially the grilled meats, and the service is good and fast. I imagine the place is quite old, but it's fine. Honestly, the worst part for me is having to eat sitting on a wooden stool. Luckily, there are benches with backs, but not enough for everyone. As I said, the grilled meat is good.
Superbien
This restaurant was recommended to us by a local shop, and the food is not bad at all. Except for two, all dishes come without a side; if you want them, you have to order the fries separately. The menu photos are not misleading. When it's time to sit down, if you're quick and get a seat, you'll have a good dinner, but if you get a stool, you'll be uncomfortable. The waitress who served us was rude and glared at us from across the room, so the food was quite good, but we didn't like the service.
In the heart of Hervás lies a restaurant that captivates with its culinary excellence. Upon entering, one is greeted by the intoxicating aroma of oak wood embers, a harbinger of an unforgettable dining experience. The only drawback was that the air conditioning was clearly inadequate, creating a feeling of absolute cold. We opted for a perfectly executed mixed grill, which highlighted the exceptional quality of the meats. The dessert, made entirely from scratch, was the perfect finishing touch: an exquisite brownie accompanied by ice cream that delighted and surprised us with its genuine, artisanal flavor. This restaurant distinguishes itself not only for the quality and variety of its dishes but also for the impeccable service of its staff, which makes every visit a true delight. Without a doubt, it is the perfect destination for those seeking an authentic and memorable gastronomic experience, although it is recommended to dress warmly.
Upon arrival, we asked if we could eat, and they told us we'd have to wait about half an hour because they were full. Then, a minute later, they told us we could go up to the dining room, which was almost empty. We didn't understand it, to be honest. The menu is mostly based on meat, cold cuts, and salads; there isn't much to choose from. We ordered a green salad, which arrived drenched in oil, and a mixed grill, which I've attached a photo of so you can see it. Some of the items were tasty, but they had to take the pig's head away to replace it because it was black (completely burnt). According to the waitress, that's how it's supposed to be eaten, otherwise it's raw. They took it away and brought us another one that was less cooked (less burnt). The service was quite poor, to be honest. We had to keep an eye on the waitress to order dessert and coffee. Then we asked for the bill and left. They were in such a hurry because they were closing after lunch and were eager for us to leave. Not recommended at all! We won't be back, and we want to return to Hervás, as we really liked the area.
No repetiremos.
No recomendamos
