We are a big fan of Rosa's and super stoked it's nearby now! I personally always order #55 and order of sopapillas. Nice environment, delicious food, and perfect for families!
Slightly more Mex than Tex TexMex. Generous portions and really good atmosphere.
I love this Rosa’s! The migas plate is delicious and affordable for me so it’s always my go to breakfast when I want to go out. Anytime something isn’t quite right with the dish they always happily and quickly make it right and then some! Friendly staff and amazing food.
AJ has been the manager since this Rosas opened and he is absolutely amazing always. The service and food are great and the place is always very clean!
We especially enjoyed our meal there this evening. The manager , A.J., was most cordial and welcoming. Thanks for maintaining a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.
I got to tell you about Rosa's Cafe, incredible food. I ordered chicken fajitas for one and I had to plate boxes. Well, I thought they gave me someone else's order too. But I was wrong, the 2nd container had a taco salad shell with just the lettuce, cheese, sour cream, tomatoes and guacamole. Thank you, thank you, thank you, now can you show the other restaurants how to separate liquid food from solid so it doesn't get soggy. Way to go guys. The service was great, the food was wonderful, so you will be seeing me more often. Thank you for truly caring.
You can't beat how fast they are. Solid food and taco Tuesday prices are great as well as the margarita prices. Not going to say it's the best food you'll ever have but the speed, value, and service make it for sure worth going. Tortillas are made in house as well.
I went to grab dinner for my family on 4/22. I was trying to find an option that would feed my family and I spoke with Mike at the front. He was very helpful explaining the menu and the different options that would work for my family of four. This type of customer service is rare to find these days. Mike is the standard to switch the rest of your employees should be working to achieve. Taking the time on a busy Tuesday to make sure I had a good experience was thoughtful did not go unnoticed. Thank you, Mike. Keep it up.
We dined in at the new Rosa's Cafe in Hewitt and was extremely pleased with the beautiful atmosphere and the wonderful service we received! I'm not sure if it's the fact that this restaurant is new, or what but every single employee was smiling, eager to serve, and seemed very genuinely happy to be at such a wonderful place to serve hungry customers! This location was extremely neat and tidy, the food was made fresh, and the taste was extremely pleasant for any pallette. The restaurant had plenty of diners, but was not too overly busy. The outside areas next to the building and the parking areas were additionally neat and tidy as well. I very easily give this particular location a 5 star because I couldn't find anything negative going on to dissatisfy my taste. I will visit back again when the new wears down and see how this location stands up to the test of time, but for now go dine in, try out their drive thru or even door dash your dinner and simply sit back and enjoy!
Rosa's is great, busy but great, none of my orders have even been wrong, staff have been patient and very polite. Dining room has always been clean or cleaned right away someone leaves so there's plenty of seating. Lot's to see on the walks and hanging from the ceiling, kids enjoy that too.
I gave 4 stars overall because it is a self-service, casual dining restaurant. You go through a line to order, and you go to the counter to pick up your tray of food when it is ready. Not bad, but just not very special. However... Their Taco Tuesday is a fantastic deal, and I go every chance I get. Sometimes for lunch, and sometimes for dinner. They make their own tortillas, and I love them. They have butter and honey to spread on a fresh, hot tortilla, and I love that, too! Best of all, they have a pico/salsa bar where you can get all of the pico, jalapenos (pickled or fresh), salsa (mild, medium, and hot), cilantro, limes, etc. that you care to put on your tacos/food. I live for Tuesdays!
You are sure to get full even though the price of the meal is not much, I just had issues with the tacos, they were more like burritos and I’ve had better. Great staff and lovely ambiance there though, I just wish my tacos were heavenly.
My family and I eat here often. The last handful of times we have had missing food. When I confront the employees I get looks and questioned as if I'm lying. (Always by the girl pictured) No one wears a name tag so I cant get names, although the girl that takes our order is very friendly. We've also been given crazy looks when we sit against the wall at the table and in the booth near the restrooms. I feel that if this is the "employees" assigned break table, it should be marked as so. One of the male employees set his food on the table and consistently grumbled after my dad and kids were already seated at the table. When their break was over we got stares as they walked by. The food is decent but some of the employees are not friendly.
Came here for the first, and last, time. 3 stars for fajita beef that was cooked amazingly well but man the rest of the meal was incredibly disappointing. The beans were gross enough I didn't bother finishing them and the rice was just meh but unfortunately were premixed with the beans so I didn't finish that either. Was told the fajita beef plate was enough food to make 3 tacos but only if you skimped on how much you put on the tortilla. The sides came in a Taco salad bowl but it was so full of generic iceberg shreds you barely had any sides. $24 bucks and I left still feeling a little hungry. Also, for those who do decide to come here, if you want chips and salsa you'll have to order it. I haven't been to a Rosa's Cafe before so I didn't know until after I paid and sat down so I guess that was on me. Treat this place like an expensive fast food place that just happens to have high quality meat and you will probably like it
Let's talk about Rosa's Cafe. Where do I start? I think Rosa's on Hewitt Dr was not prepared to compete with Rosa's on Franklin Ave. Maybe it's a lack of experience, or they didn't expect it to be a success. But that's not it. The organization among employees is bad. The supervisor, or who I believe is the supervisor, is trying as hard as he can to keep up with all the work. I could see his anger and frustration. The food felt low quality, which is strange considering their other store on Franklin Ave. I'm just saying that if they want to keep up, they have to examine everything and start over. Because that's not it. Hope I can upgrade this review to a better one soon. At least the taco salad was good...
Paid almost 40 dollars for two meals that came with more toppings than actual food. Beef fajita was cooked surprisingly well but there was barely 3-4 tiny pieces on there while it looked like they threw an entire bowl of lettuce on top. I come here quite often and it’s always a hit or miss, mainly a miss though I would recommend going to the taqueria that’s down the street.
Me and my boyfriend went here to enjoy a small date while the weather was bad, and we’ve never been more disappointed. Our food was just sloped together with no precision at all. I ordered a taco salad, and yes I know it has lettuce but mine was about 95% lettuce. My boyfriend ordered a nachos plate and the toppings to chip ratio was not it and it just overall was not appealing and good to eat. Walking by the toppings bar we noticed it was all a mess. Toppings mixing in bowls, all over the countertops, it just looks like they don’t care. Then walking to the soda machine in the back all the tables that had been used beforehand were dirty. And keep in mind they were dirty when we walked in and still dirty when we walked out about a 30 minute visit. We are just overall disappointed and never coming back.
