Super cosy place in Holbox, with the friendliest waiters. It is a garden with a roof, lots of plants and cosy lights. What a treat to have such a big menu to choose from as a vegetarian. Also highly recommend for non-vegetarians! We tried the enmoladas, see picture. I would definitely come back!

Great dinner at Arte Sano! They ran out of the Goddess and Mexican burger but Jose recommended the Tropical burger and it was delicious! The burrito was also just as tasty. Both were fresh and great combination of flavors. José provided excellent service and the ambience of the place is very cute/pretty.

The Arte Sano is a lovely place. The menu is huge for a vegan/vegetarian place. I'm sure everyone will find something they will enjoy. I had the green goddess burger and it was really delicious, especially with the homemade spicy sauce. The service was nice and there was no waiting time at all. I will come back and would recommend going here.

Jose was very kind and provided good service. The restaurant is beautiful as they have done such a nice job with the aesthetics. I really enjoyed my meal: I got the Mexican burger. The horchata was very good as well! Must visit while on the beautiful Holbox.

Best in Holbox. A little oasis in the center where you can take a break from the noisy, sandy streets. Relaxing atmosphere: peaceful music, natural wood, and lots of plants. The food is nutritious with homely flavors and generous portions—you won’t leave hungry. The menu is very diverse and they pay great attention to detail. The veggies were crunchy, and you could add as much salsa as you liked. The hosts are very attentive and even made an effort to remember my name. Will come back again!

Fabulous authentic food, just without the meat! And banging drinks too (cacao nib lattes etc). The setting is beautiful, a little jungle with fans to keep it cool. We ate most of our meals here it was so great and such amazing value for money. Felt really welcomed. Kind and chill people. Jose was so helpful with local info. It's also a pretty great spot for gluten-free meals. They don't have specific GF products, but most dishes come with tortillas so just cornflour :-) We will miss this place!

Gorgeous place with a nice garden seating, but no bug spray so bring your own! Extensive vegan menu and a vegetarian section, so great for those who want eggs (or if you want to have brunch with friends who are not vegetarians). Food was decent, and I’m glad to have seitan (finally some decent vegan protein), but the mole missed the mark in terms of flavour. And the smoothies were hard to drink because of how roughly blended they were, with tons of ice. A bit more attention to quality of food versus presentation (which was excellent) and this place would be a 5 star choice

I gave this a 4 but I feel that's probably a little harsh. This little vegan/veg spot is nice. The decor is great and the ambience is relaxed. It's a great place to have lunch or dinner on Holbox (especially if vegan or vegetarian). My wife and I shared the horchata (delicious, would recommend). Then she had the classic burger with potatoes and I had the enmoladas. The burger left a little to be desired, but the potato wedges were fantastic. Honestly though if you're in Mexico you should probably just order what they're good at, you can have a burger when you get back home. The enmoladas were lovely. Nice plate with great taste and it comes with beans, rice, and a salad. Would recommend to others and we will be coming back before we leave.

I really wanted to love Arte Sano given the glowing reviews, but unfortunately, it was a major disappointment. We ordered three different dishes, yet they were so similar in profile that I honestly couldn't have distinguished between them with my eyes closed; the flavors were surprisingly one-note and lacked any real depth. Perhaps this hits the spot if you follow a strict vegan diet, but as a non-vegan, the seasonings just didn't land for us, making it one of our most underwhelming culinary experiences in Holbox. It’s a real shame because the staff is incredibly friendly and the service was genuinely good, but strictly speaking on flavor, the food simply didn't live up to the hype.
