Had extremely pleasant service the morning of 07/17/2021. The lady that took my order was very kind and patient. The gentleman that gave me my food and drinks was also very amazing. The night shift workers definitely deserve a raise; they were dealing with an extremely rude customer who kept honking their horn in the drive thru; which is sad. Thank you so much for allowing me to eat a great meal at 4am.

Whataburger generally provides good service and food but they to work on the time we spend setting in the drive through waiting to place an order and waiting to get the order. They also need to ensure the cups are dry properly before handing to customers.
After my daughter's graduation we enjoyed a late night feast. I ordered the #4 Jalapeno & Cheese Burger- upscaling the fries and substituting a strawberry shake. Everything was delicious and the service was good. The cashier was friendly and interested in getting my order correct. The inside eating area was nicely stocked and clean. We had an enjoyable late night time at Whataburger 💪👍🎈🎊🎉🎈🎈🎊🎉🙏

This location has greatly improved! They must have new management because the orders are coming out more quickly and more neat. There was a little mistake with my order and they were quick and I fix the mistake and remained professional. I saw the manager going around and making sure things were flowing well with the orders.
I only eat at Whataburger for breakfast because I love the Honey Chicken biscuit. I also only drive thru. This location always has a good breakfast. I'll sometimes get a bacon Breakfast on a Bun. Food is always hot & fresh. The drive thru folks are always nice and efficient.
I messed up and forgot my money at home so as I walked out,feeling like a bum, the manager ran out to me and let me pay with his discount. My props to this place. Come here to eat and meet the awesome staff.

Food was great service was great. Latisha was a one man show during a Saturday rush hour taking orders while running them out to cars. Ownership should really support with more help. These 5 starts are for her she was killing it with a great smile and hospitality.

Please order the Cobb salad with Whatachick'n and extra bacon plus Buttermilk Ranch/Jalapeno Ranch or Creamy Pepper. The salad itself is little more expensive than a standard sandwich and less in portion, but it is still so filling. The mixed greens and shredded cheese instead of lettuce and blue cheese also make it less tiring (taste wise) to eat than a typical Cobb salad.
Absolutely love this place!! The manager Maria always takes care of me , and makes sure the food is fresh and hot. I love the staff there always so sweet it’s definitely worth the stop to get a bite to eat .
I stopped by Whataburger around midnight after a long shift, and honestly, it was the best decision I made all week. The staff greeted me right away with smiles, and the restaurant was spotless even though it was late. My burger came out hot and perfectly put together — not messy, not soggy, just right. The fries were golden and crispy, and they even threw in extra ketchup packets without me asking. The team working that night was fast, polite, and clearly cared about getting orders right. I’ll be coming back again soon!
Just left breakfast and all I have to say is good things about my experience, I was welcomed when I walked it, employees were very kind, from the moment I had arrived and the moment I left. Absolutely stunning, and the food, very hot and fresh just the way I like it.
The whataburger on Barker Cypress and west road is amazing. The manager Eva Peya is does an amazing job with customer service and in maintaining the dinning area and restroom facilities clean. Environment is pleasant and food service is fast.

Note that I’m a fan of Whataburger chain so my opinion is gonna be biased, but I’m putting it in the same realm as a review of fast food burger joints. I encourage anyone to use the app to be able to gather points and rewards and I think it’s a faster way of ordering in today’s world because you either do it pick up curbside or go in and pick it up right there at the counter and it’s typically ready to go The staff here were friendly, had smiles. Make sure that I was taken care of when I went to go pick in On the online pick it up inside the food was freshly prepared. If you could say that about fast food, it was hot. It tasted great as well made great experience clean interior clean exterior note that this Whataburger is right near Lonestar community college and also the very center so I can get busy after a sporting event so you have to be patient. It’s a prime location. Note my rating system: 1 Star: I wouldn't recommend 2 Stars: Didn't hit my standards 3 Stars: Average (nothing special) 4 Stars: Above Average. Would recommend. Still looking for the 5 Star. 5 Stars: Top of their game. Great food. Great service. Would recommend and plan on returning.
Yum Whataburger has been on my mind since moving to Houston. I finally made it here. The orders are prepared after you order meaning that they are not pre made and sitting under a heat lamp. I enjoyed it thoroughly. The store was clean, well lit, and well attended. The staff was courteous. I’ll be back to try other menu items.
Clean restaurant. Friendly staff. We ordered a variety of burgers. I had the jalapeno cheese burger. Really good. One of my daughters got the Dr Pepper shake. She said it was great. The restrooms were acceptable, but needed a little attention. We are just passing through, but will visit again if we see one.
My usual lunch order has several customized selections and this location gets it right everytime. I lime the friendliness of the staff. They make me feel welcome by greeting me when I walk in and there is someone that walks the restaurant area to make sure your order was right and they always ask if I need anything. I have been going to this location for several years and this is a very friendly, clean and welcoming location.
I love Whataburger most of the time, but I won't forgive this location for the time they forgot my sugar cookie on my kids meal when I was fourteen.

It literally took them 47 minutes to go through 11 cars in a drive-thru I really do not understand what makes them so slow. any customer can complain about anything that doesn't mean that the whole line should be suffering. Being at this Whataburger on ce and had a bad experience so it was unfortunate that I am sharing this review yet I felt that it was appropriate it is my second three-star review out of 300 plus five-star reviews on my Google maps congratulations.
Food was great. I ordered my food for pick up and it was very confusing to the staff upfront. One of the orders came out much later than the others site compared to other fast food in the area should be cleaner and it is not.
After hearing about Whataburger from so many people up north how awesome it was. It was incredibly disappointing. Way too many pickles, bacon was hard to chew, Mustard overpowered everything else. Fries were good. One of the workers felt overwhelmed. Stopped serving breakfast at exactly 11am. Other people in line were there before 11am but because of the slow service it was to late for them.
Got 2 kids meals. The fries were STALE. The onion rings were soaked in the grease. They were soggy. You can tell they reheated them thru the oil frier! The shakes were not mixed..We got strawberry. The cheese was like play dough. Very disappointed.
Food is great! Whataburger is a consistent favorite. This rating is for how we overheard the manager speaking to his employees. He was rude, brash, and disrespectful. That is NOT how you speak to adults that work with you. Whoever put him in charge needs to evaluate what true leadership looks like. We were appalled. Will be contacting corporate about this one.
The food was great however customer service is lacking. Every whataburger I've gone to the customer service is great. Had a line going out the door and all employees running around doing something close to nothing except for the one running the register. The girl was trying to fill drink orders, grabbing condiments and tending to the register all the while the rest were just talking to friends and to fellow employees. Yes, no leadership whatsoever. Won't return to this location.
Very inconsistent ... depending if the owner is on site. TODAY: Placed an online order for dine in to be ready 3:10 - 3:15. Arrived at 3:05 and was told it'll be ready "soon". 3:30 it was brought to my table. OBSERVATIONS: Party Melt was only warm. Fries were also warm, in pieces and HARD. Most likely old and living under a heat lamp or just double fried. The drink that I ordered was never served. Had to retrieve it myself. Drink counter was a mess with spilled soda and ice on the counter and floor. Condiment counter was similarly messy. Table had leftover ketchup, salt & pepper packets and it obviously hadn't been cleaned in a while. There were only 3 other customers inside but the drive thru was attacking cars up waiting for orders. So - back to my initial comment. This store is very inconsistent and should be avoided. I will.
My family and I eat here maybe 3-4 times a week because we LOVE Whataburger. My order is always the same: Double meat with cheese, no tomatoes, add mustard and tomato and cut the burger in half. I didn’t feel that the young man taking the order, took the order correctly so I asked him to repeat it. Once we realized he’d taken the order down incorrectly, he corrected it to what I’d initially ordered. Once I got to the pickup window, I was given my order. Again, something told me to double check it before driving off and sure enough as I’m in the drive through checking my order - there was no mayonnaise as I requested. I asked for the manager, Flavio. He came to the window and saw me open the burger with my hands to verify correctness and his suggestions were: You can give me the burger back (even after I’d touched it, but ok) or I can give you some mayonnaise on the side and you can go on about your way. Luckily my husband was with me and he knows a little bit about cross contamination and food leaving an establishment and coming back into the establishment etc.. so we gave the burger back to Flavio since he didn’t give us any other choice in this matter. So, the line was held up as we waited for him to recook the order correctly This time. This was a major inconvenience to us and all due to the establishment and managements error and negligence. I feel as a manager, Flávio should’ve been more accommodating since this was their error. There were so many ways that we could’ve left Happy instead of disappointed but we weren’t afforded any of those options so Flávio allowed us to leave disappointed. I live across the street from this Whataburger and world hate for this bad experience to ruin my chances of ever going back to this location. Flávio’s decision and the way he handled this situation was *subpar* at best. Extremely poor customer service, it was literally non existent. Not sure I’ll return. ~One UNhappy Customer!
Went to this location today. Did curbside and it was a mess. They crammed a large cup into a regular sized cup holder and it spilt allover the car. Most of the soda was on the floor board. Order wasn't right at all. Burgers were missing cheese, no mayo, no ketchup. We asked for no onions on the burger. We had onions. The onion rings we got were soggy. Will not be returning to this location. It's like they don't even care.
Terrible experience on Christmas Eve. I had my online order scheduled for 6:30 pm and I reached the location at 6:08 to let them know that I am waiting outside for my curbside pickup and they tell me that my order was cancelled and they’re now closed. I hadn’t received any cancellation email and I had checked the store timings on google before placing my order. My order was placed at 2:40 pm on December 24th, there was no other communication except for confirmation email. To make it worse the staff was extremely rude and there was no compassion whatsoever. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Will NEVER order from any whataburger ever again. My kids were super sad. Please train your staff to handle such delicate situation with care and respect. You LOST a customer. Hope you felt happy after treating us this way. UPDATE: Its been almost 3 weeks since our order was cancelled but we still haven't gotten our refund. I’ve been following up with customer service will update again after a few days.
Past few months service has really gone down hill. Is this place under new management? No exaggeration, the following has happened to me every single time I've gone through. I order online for pick up. Late hours, online orders must be picked up through the drive through rather than curbside. I get to the order box, tell them that I'm here for an online order. When I get to the window, they offer me someone else's order. So frustrating. I remind them that I'm here for an online order and they give me deer in head lights. The whole point of ordering ahead is my food be prepared on time. Again, frustrating. I've learned to look through the bag before leaving the window because they get my order wrong every time. No cap, every time. Why such a long review for a fast food restaurant? Because I've got time. I've literally been waiting in line for 20 minutes for an order I placed 35 minutes ago. The wait times here are regularly ridiculous.
Go to this Whataburger if you want your order messed up or swapped with another customer's. Awful customer service. Not to mention they put way too much sauce on their burgers and sandwiches. When you open the wrapper, the whole thing will be swimming in sauce.
I placed order using mobile application and they take longer than ever. Few times already, I have to move to curside and wait until I call them to remind that still waiting. I always have to wait extra 15mins.
Having to wait 50 minutes for 2 burger meals is unacceptable. Could’ve gone to any other of the fast food places in the area and saved a good chunk of time. Cherry on top was getting home to having been given the wrong drinks.

I don’t know when this location started hiring disrespectful, rude associate, but the last few times I’ve been here has been awful. Today was just the worst of it. They had a sign up that said both lanes were open, but nobody ever came to the lane B. So all of us that were in Lane B got out and went to Lane a and when we got there, we let them know that nobody ever helped us in the lane beside and the guy was so rude and disrespectful and just kept cutting us off. nobody yelled nobody curse nobody raise their voice, but he did not care. He did not apologize. He didn’t say anything besides, I would hurry up so I can take your order. So I spoke to the manager, and she tried to justify his behavior by saying that it’s raining when they could have clearly just taken the sign down.
(1) if you can't bring employees out to the second order lane, then close it! You're expecting people to allow you to merge into the first Lane after you've put in your order and pay at the first window. I had to get out of the car in the second lane to pay for my food at the first window because nobody would let me in to the first Lane. Then, when it was time for me to pick up my food I had to get out of my car again to get my food at the second window. Just close the second lane please! (2) now I'm home with my burger and fries and I'm not even believing that this is food that is passing your standard. The burger is like shoe leather, the bread is crusty and hard like 4-day-old bread. Will not be coming back, as this is not our first experience like this. It feels like the owner or manager is trying to save money by serving old food. You can do better
I love most Whataburger fast food restaurants. But the staff at this particular location is absolute underachievers. I've never seen a kitchen staff move at such a snail's pace like the individuals working at this location. My son and I were there at that location on Sunday night, June 23rd at approximately 11:15 p.m.. yes the soccer team of the local high school was there and so they were a little more busier than usual, but it is absolutely unacceptable to wait 30 minutes for a patty melt and an order of fries. But that's exactly how long we waited. One of the people running the food out were calling out names instead of handing out table tents to match the orders like usual. And when he called out names he really wasn't speaking very loudly, and the soccer team from the local high school was being pretty loud so there was no way for them to hear him call their names with their orders. The man running out the food had to walk up to my son and ask him what he ordered because it was the blind leading the stupid in the kitchen. I will never go back to this location again because there are quite a few other whataburgers that I enjoy frequenting. I would like to hear back from a manager of the corporate level so that I can air my grievances to them. Please respond to this with an email address to send my complaint to. If I were the manager at that location, there are quite a few people working there that would have gotten firedfor it to have taken 30 minutes for one hamburger in order of fries. Absolutely unacceptable.
Everytime I go to this location I am disappointed. Just today alone, I go, sit in the drive thru for almost 20 minutes. They took my order wrong, so had to fix that. Get to the window, was not offered any condiments. Got to pull out, check the food, thank goodness I did. It was wrong. Kids burger supposed to be just cheese, plain and dry. It had everything but cheese. Go in to have it fixed and stand there another 10 minutes or so. Long enough for the rest of my order to get cold sitting in the car. Then, to top it off the manager Ayden is pathetic. Refused to look at me, ignored me when I spoke to him, and still had nothing to say when I asked his employee for his name, and he was standing right there. If you cannot handle a problem in your restaurant, you should not be a manager. I would have just put this in the survey they offer on receipts, but they also ripped the QR code in half, so here we are. Drive the extra few minutes to ANY other whataburger, you will be glad you did, trust me.
I go to the whataburger on West rd every weekend. Good service, good food usually. However, Sunday morning after eating a sausage biscuit I became violently sick with food poisoning. I'm not sure what happened. Unfortunately, the thought of whataburger food now leaves a sour taste in my mouth, literally. I will say that he young black lady that works the window most weekend mornings is amazing
I ordered avocado with my salad, I was charged for it on both salad I ordered. But only realized when I got home there was no avocado on both salad. I called and spoke with someone that was very rude and asked me to come back for the avocado (imagine that), not minding if I live close to the restaurant or not. She said she couldn’t process a refund, why!? I only started eating at whataburger because of the salad but that experience let a bad taste in my mouth. Customers should always get what they pay for.

Your new drive through plan is terrible. It takes longer, it's very stupid to have the menu so far behind where I now have to pull up to order...I hope this is just this location and not all....so stupid. Now you got people running between cars confused and its so damn hot they are sweating so much into their gloves I don't even want to eat this. Terrible idea, go back to normal.

upon entering whataburger, i was greeted nicely by the employees. however, the store was busy. there was a young lady who was taking out orders and the manager just stood there telling customers that the young lady will be there shortly to take their order. he was just standing there while the lady was visibly stressed. when the young lady finally got there, she asked the manager if he could grab her something really quick. he proceeded to roll his eyes and walk somewhere else. we were appalled! this is not how you treat employees.
Worst experience ever. Had to wait 50 minutes for TWO BURGERS. That’s it. Was told they had the item I wanted at the order screen then after waiting 30 MINUTES to get to the window to pay, I was told they didn’t have the item…. Pick up order.. I CANE FOR THE FRIES SPECIFICALLY BUT THEY WERE NOT COOKED RIGHT, they were soggy and greasy and when I arrive my order was ready cause after 10minutes of waiting I went through the drive thru and they brung it out warm.. the fries are usually on point but not today..
Customer service was extremely rude! I come here from time to time every morning and get my food to go but this time the short girl in the front with the hijab on walked off as soon as i walked up to her to tell her why i was there! When i explained my issue to the manager he went and got someone else to help me with out acknowledging the mistake and rudeness that was made! Whataburger has went down hill extremely! Slowest one ever. You’ll order 2 milkshakes and then wait 30 mins past the time it gives you in the curbside space..only for them to give you no straws. Update: I don’t even know why we went to this one again. It’s not fast food here, could have went to the hwy 6 one and back like 3 times in the amount of time it took for our order.
I know it’s busy but if we order curbside and we ask for our correct order, don’t sit here and lie to us. If we ask for extra condiments, don’t lie and say they’re in the bag. Remember back in the day when there was only one drive-thru line and it all moved so much faster? I really miss those days because Whataburger is completely unable to properly manage multiple lines. I came here at midnight when there were barely any cars and made the mistake of getting in the second line. This resulted in me waiting about 20 minutes for a tiny order! I knew I was in trouble when they were not taking orders through the speaker and I had to wait for an employee to come out to take my order. It seems insanely inefficient to have the same person taking orders and running food, so that’s one obvious failure of management here. The “window” line which took orders at the speaker was moving so much faster because the guy taking orders and bringing the food out at the second line just straight up disappeared for like 10 minutes. So using Whataburger‘s logic, they have a single point of failure for the entire second drive-thru line! Even if that guy just has to use the bathroom the entire second line completely stops operating. It blows my mind how anyone thinks that this is the way to run a “fast” food restaurant.
What I witnessed during my recent visit was something I just couldn’t ignore. There was a mistake with my order nothing major, and honestly, I was okay with calling to get my refund. What really stood out, though, was how the manager, Eva/Ava, handled the situation. Rather than addressing the matter with professionalism, Ava chose to publicly reprimand and raise her voice at the employee in a manner that was both humiliating and entirely inappropriate. This occurred in front of staff and customers, and it reflected a serious lapse in leadership, emotional regulation, and respect for workplace dignity. No one deserves to be spoken to that way, especially in front of customers. We all have tough days, but as a leader especially a general manager how you treat people in those moments speaks volumes. Public humiliation is never the answer. This wasn’t just unprofessional; it was unfair and frankly, unacceptable. I hope this is taken seriously by those in charge, because a toxic workplace doesn’t just affect the team. it reflects poorly on the entire brand. Respect should never be optional.
If I could give a negative 5 I would. They always get the orders wrong. Food is cold and service is slow. I thought hey let me download the app to order ahead of time and help them out. Still had to wait 20 minutes and food was still cold and guess what wrong. Stay away from this crap whataburger.
I would skip this location if I were you it took me many times of failed food service to come to this point where I posted this but it’s just too many times when they mess up your food or take 20 to 30 minutes to make your food for you. You gotta order at 9:50 at night. Didn’t receive it till 1010. I was the only person in the drive-through line what takes so long for a number two.
Three different employees purposely ignored me when I came in and said hello to them all. Took over 3 minutes for anyone to acknowledge that I was there. Now when I get home and go to take a bite there is hair in my sandwich. What great service and teamwork :). I will totally be coming back to this location for sure
Drive thru usually has some understanding that it should be quick. I ordered a shake and 1 burger. 30 minutes later, we finally get food. This is not efficient at all. If you need something and expect speed, this is not the location.
Ordered 4 combo meals and ended up missing fries from the meals. Since I was in the farther lane of the drive thru, I had to get out of my vehicle and go up to the drive thru window. I literally stood there for a minute, while employees passed by, until finally being asked if I needed help. I informed them I was missing fries and instead of offering to bring them to me in my vehicle, I stood there again for another minute AT THE DRIVE THRU WINDOW, until they gave me the fries. Glad to know this location is not part of my usual route cause I won't be stopping here again.
I ordered online and took more than 40 minutes to have the food ready I asked for Manager and did not even come out to talk to me. It is fast food not fine dining and I did not order steak well done to take that long.
Giving this place a one star was the bare minimum I HAD to give. I placed my order at 9:50 PM and finally got my order corrected after three attempts I was eating by 10:26 PM. I had visited another location in Cypress and left a review recently & I gave the same rating to this location. Super slow service, really cold food, took me 40+ minutes to get my food after 3 attempts to fix my order. I have officially given up on the company as a whole. I could understand one location being the issue but again gave it one more try at a different location & sure enough my hopes got shot down. Same EXACT issue just a DIFFERENT location. Between the ridiculous wait times, horrible food quality, terrible customer service at this point…I have given this company so many chances to keep me as a customer. As of me leaving this rating I cannot visit ANY location again until really three things change with Whataburger. Prices come down which I REALLY dont see them doing that, quality picks up from the food to the customer service & last the timeframe from ordering your food & getting it in a timely manner. Other than that I will no longer visit ANY locations moving forward. Hopefully corporate reads my review & from the other location I left.
I waited 3 minutes for someone to answer the speaker at the drive thru. No one answered. I drove up to the window to order my meal. Instead of driving to the third window, the cashier made me drive to the front to wait for my meal. I waited another 18 minutes. I got out my car to walk back to the 2nd window to find out if my order is ready. The order been ready. They just forgot I was waiting.
Sat there for 20 minutes waiting a take out order for a burger. Watched people get their food as I sat there. Then they finally grabbed the bag from the drive thru it seems. Didn’t even bother to at least give fresh fries with the order they had sitting there.
