Slow at times when it comes to services, I asked for hot sauce and they don't offer any hot sauce other than the Colombian one, that is only for Colombian. Very tasty and not over seasoned food. I had grilled chicken with rice and beans and sweet plantains. The plantains were cooked to perfection!! Also they had me in an out quickly while still serving me hot fresh food! Great spot of you have 45 minutes or less for lunch.

Best Colombian food around!! Their bandeja paisa is amazing (the beans it comes with are drool worthy) and their empanadas de carne are always crispy, never greasy, and all around delicious (especially if you add their house made hot sauce to it). If you like Colombian food, this is the place to get it in Pembroke Pines/Hollywood/Broward.

The food is authentic with home cooked flavor, the beer ice cold, kudos to the chef... I've been twice and both times the experience has been great food and service wise. Will be back for the sancocho, they were out which can only mean the ran out cause everyone likes it.

The food is excellent. The staff is nice. My Spanish is terrible but fortunately they had at least one server that could speak English with me. The atmosphere is family friendly. The space is a bit small but make it work where you don't feel cramped. Did I mention that the food is very tasty?

Staff is very friendly and quick my kids are very picky so believe me when I tell you that they ate everything and said Mommy they cook like you and Grandma (Daisy)... now that is the best compliment they've ever given a Latin restaurant...

If you’re craving traditional Colombian flavors, this is the place to be! The food is incredible, and the portions are huge. They have a variety of dishes, all of which are delicious. The prices are very reasonable. The only thing I would suggest is that the wait times could be shorter, especially on weekends since this place is so popular.

My husband stumbled on this place while I was out of town, loved it so much that he brought me back. Little did I know that it was literally next door to a gym I've visited. It's such an inconspicuous restaurant that you don't even notice it. When you visit, you will see what I mean. Food is super reasonably priced and delicious. Staff was friendly as well. It's not a huge restaurant but it makes up for being a cozy family style restaurant. Only odd thing that stood out was the many cameras they had all around. It's a great restaurant overall. Highly recommended.

Every time we visit, the food is of excellent quality, and we leave completely satisfied. The prices are very reasonable, and the sancocho de costilla on Sundays is absolutely to die for. This place was amazing. The portions are soooo generous and the price was very fair. I ordered the breaded chicken and my kids ordered the salchipapas. It was very flavorful. My wife and I are so happy we found this place. I would’ve given this place 5 stars but they have a hard time accommodating large groups. We had to wait standing next to the other tables until a a couple of tables were free so we can try to join them. But it was worth it. I would do it again.

The food is delicious. The portions are awesome; truly plentiful. The only downsides to this place is that they Never open on time. They're always late, so if you go right at "opening time" just expect to wait a good 15-20 minutes at least, before they acutely arrive and open. During busy hours like lunch, they tend to struggle and keep up. Despite these 2 issues, the truth is I still go a lot because as I said before, the food is delicious, they're not stingy with their portions and I truly think their prices are on point. They're neither over nor under priced.

I recently got thr chance to visit this Colombian restuarant and my family and I (and stomach) had a terrific time. Off the bat, their prices were surprisingly very reasonable compare to other restaurants around Broward. My family and I enjoyed their seafood meals. I really loved their Filete De Pescado A La Plancha(Grilled Fish Filet). The atmosphere is small, but crazy and the staff were great as well, especially when our server came back a few times to ask us if we needed something else. Overall, we had a great time and looking forward to return sooner than later.

This place is a hidden gem. I was very happy with my fried fish & there home made hot sauce added more unique flavor. They have a beer that's mixed with soda that is smoothly addictive. There steak was also good, and our waitress was very friendly. Cant wait to go back!

I really loved my meal! I had churrasco, rice and beans. The red beans were some of the best I’ve ever had. My dad had fish with garlic sauce. He thought the sauce was just ok. Everything else he loved. The prices were great for what you get. We will go back!

Food here is great, but don't expect great service or AC. It's pretty hot, and the waiters seemed overwhelmed and tired by the time we went, which was lunch time on a Sunday. The chef gets all the stars, though, maybe take it to go.

Have been visiting this restaurant for 3 years since 2022 and has been exceptional! The bang for your buck is crazy and the food is delicious with their great cooks( some Cuban.) the presentation is lovely, with their hot plates and unique designs. However, their service has dwindled or maybe I got unlucky, but I went to the restaurant, walked in, and nobody even looked at me or even thought about sitting me down. I understand if a restaurant is busy, but it is no excuse to ignore your customers, and it left a sour taste in my mouth, I actually went to another restaurant after 10minutes of waiting.

Pretty good place, clean and welcoming small location. The food takes a little long to come out, maybe because of the limited employees. Some of the food tasted a bit old, it was missing a little bit more flavor but the customer service made up for it. The place/area seemed very calmed, you can make an order through the phone and pick up. There is a mini bar but only one person assign to service bar and tables and that’s probably because of the space and number of customers. It doesn’t get that full, okay place.

The food is usually good. I've been buying food from them for a long time. However, lately, they have refused to serve me because I have certain allergies, and I put a note with my order. However, this hadn't been a problem in the past. The last 3 times I tried to place an order, the restaurant said they were out of the dish I ordered. Today, I called from my husband's phone after my order was canceled. Only to find out that they did have what I tried to order. They also have a couple of waitresses with a nasty attitude. Not common for the type of people the restaurant hires. My family and I have been buying and eating food there for years. I would hate to see this new trend continue. Our family is not going back for starters

The food is great but do NOT order delivery, only dine in or carry out. They ALWAYS make mistakes with orders from forgetting items, to not adding items that are specifically requested. I've even called to make sure that they read the note on the order to ensure they don't forget the items, they even repeat the note to me yet they still forget to add the requested items. It's very frustrating. Besides that the food is great!

Do not order via Uber Eats. If they do not have the item, you will be ask to cancel in the app. Uber will charge you, as customer cancel order. The process to get that resolved insane, frustrating. Other than that their food has always been great when eaten in the restaurant.

I would had given them 5 stars if they had better service, however the problem I have come across time and time again is that the staff doesn't understand enough English for you to order, they also NEVER pick up the phone either, I'm fortunate that I have someone that understand and speaks the language. The place over all is just one of those whole in the walls that no one knows about but has pretty good food, that's why whenever I have a hankering for columbian food I go here. I am more then happy to change my review once the service is improved.

It’s worth it if you are willing to overlook the cons below. Cons: small place with about six tables and 4 bar seats. Management is mediocre you might eat after 2 tables who came after you even if you order the hot plate. Be prepared for your patience to be tested Location is kind of sketchy and you enter thru the back lot. Bathroom is run down and looks like an old gas station. Also prepare to wait cause there is only one. Tables aren’t very clean with gaps that get brushed out with a toothbrush. Funny videos of rats and monkeys are played on the tv (not the best choice of viewing while eating)

Chicharon was not good and I asked for a fresh one. I had to wait, ready in less than 10 minutes Don't know what I got but it looked like a refried one. The one I was given was tooooooo well done to be freshly made and ready so fast. I've had much better chicharon in Winn Dixie. The pan de bonos were just ok not exceptional. Only thing really good was the arepa with the chicharon.

The food is amazing because I use to buy for delivery from there, but today I wanted to eat in place... the service was very bad. Maybe because they were in a rush hour, but nobody greeted us. Full tables, so I asked for the menu and the waiter almos trow it to me and no even made eye contact, after 5 minutes with no atention I decided to go somwhere else.

The waitress was so stressful. Incredibly they do not have the option to change 4 carbs sides (rice, beans, plantains and salad ) per 1 egg.

Food is good and the people nice. BUT, they always have problems with all the customers... Because charge you more money than the receipt, without any explanation..is always the same. They show you a price in the bill, but when you pass the card, they price changes and they said because another extra fee for paying with card... they need to fix that. They need to show you the real and total price before you pay and dont change it.

You need to update your prices online. I ordered 2 Sopas de Costilla without sides and was charged total price. I called to the restaurant and the lady who's answered my called just said that everything is expensive now, that those were the new prices and that they just forgot to change the prices online.

Today (02/14/2024, Valentine’s day, where restaurants SHOULD have all ordered nice and neat on this day) I ordered two "picanha with avocado" and I was very clear to the person who took my order on the phone, I wanted the meat well done and they FAILED. I later saw in the other reviews that it’s common on them having mistakes on their orders. Facts. The meat was completely raw from the inside. I immediately called the restaurant to speak with the manager or to the person in charge, and they were not willing to help at all. I spoke with a Cuban lady, who said she had just started her shift, and did not helped at all and gave 0 solutions. She said that if I hadn't touched or eaten the food, they could give me another plate or see what they could do. (are they going to give this food to someone else? Of course I had tried the food, otherwise how am I going to know if the meat was raw from the inside or not? Doesn't make sense. If I take this food back to the restaurant, it should be thrown away, for obvious reasons, it doesn’t matter if the food is touched or not). The rice was clearly not freshly cooked and the whole experience was horrible. I wasted my money and tip on them. I had to throw away the two meals I payed for since the food was disgusting and the employees on site did not helped. Please see attached pictures for reference.

Very rude staff! called to place an order the woman said I don't speak English when my spouse had asked her a question in Spanish and hung up the phone. Walked inside and no one speaks English at all and the woman at the counter who was the same person who answered the phone continued to be rude and did not attemp to even service my spouse and I. It’s a SHAME the review Im going to write coming from a weekly client . I stared the beginning of this year ordering Cantina on a weekly basis PLUS drinks and deserts . Yes the food is amazing overall . After today they just lost a client because of one of their employers by the name Franklin . His customer service SUCKS !! They need to train him how to properly speak to clients . I see this business losing clients because of his attitude and form of apportion clients .

First, when i walked in the restaurant i waited standing there for about 5 minutes before someone even acknowledged that i was there. There was a lady at the bar, that instead of taking in my order just passed me around to other servers. I just went in there for 6 empanadas and 6 pan de bono. Simple as that. OH BOY....i should have walked out when i saw that the empanadas were kept in a freezer by the bar and with excessive ice on them. That should have been my call to get out. At least, keep them out sight. Second, the Pan de bono looked like they were made back when Pablo Escobar was alive. Mas duro que una piedra. Empanadas were even worse.... Took the empanadas home and they were so bad that we took two bites and threw them away in a sealed container, i wouldnt want any raccoons to die eating them. Lastly, the young man taking my order did not charge me correctly even though i clearly expressed what i wanted several times. I cannot recommend this "restaurant"..no way... and if Google ever gives the option for Negative stars this place would get a Minus 5

The worse colombian food I have ever had !!!!!!!!! The agua de panelas are so sweet they are undrinkable, the empanadas seems like they have been sitting all day and had been refried before they delivered. The bandeja paisa terrible, el chicharron is chewy and too salty to taste, feels like my meal was microwaved before it got delivered . Will never eat here again

I ordered churrasco and it arrived completely raw inside, I ended up having to re cook it and it didn’t even taste good. Horrible and they also threw my avocado just in the bag and it got all smushed. Terrible service

They are racist..if you are not Latino they will pay you no mind..just to have you looking stupid for 10 minutes not a word said to let you know they will be assisting you anytime soon..as if they are trying to stall you out..everyone sitting is taken care of avoiding eye contact because they know what is happening...Las America's is the place to be awesome food friendly atmosphere

This place is horrible, I went their and I asked for some type of steak with guacamole on top and rice with lettuce and beans on the side. I found 3 hairs in my rice, beans were awful and the lettuce wasn't even properly cleaned. The steak was ok but they left some blood in it even though I asked for well done. 4/10 just because the service was nice and the drinks were good but I wouldn't recommend coming here unless it's for a drink.

Order BEEF empanadas that had all potato and 2 little slivers of beef in it with no flavor and Pan de bono that you could literally get better tasting ones from 7-11. Employees all seem like they are in a bad mood and don’t want to be there. Maybe it’s because the atmosphere in there is dark and dull from having no sunlight from no windows . I am black American. My goal is to learn Spanish. I go in and ask for a cafe con letche. The servers are so rude & dismissive. Not only that, they challenged my intelligence by charging me 3 dollars instead of $2, even though it clearly says it on the menu & in front of you. I just walked in, because I have chosen to stop buying coffee there. Instead I go to the Colombian restaurant by Chase bank. The women there are professional, classy, and even assist me with my Spanish. Decent human beings. The vibe at this restaurant is very negative & bad. I wouldn’t eat my food here. Full of hate. I walked right out once I realized I went to the wrong restaurant. It’s very unfortunate. I guess they only want Colombians in their restaurant. Which is fine.

I order online and specifically asked for the rice and eggs to be separated from the meat. I asked them to use different containers. Everything came together. When I called to complain they said they were too busy with too many orders which is not an excuse. I will not order from this place ever again.

Levante la comida y me fui para mi casa. Estaba comiendo, recibí un mensaje en el teléfono, y me puse los lentes que uso para ver de cerca y vi terrible pelo en la comida !!! y no comí más. Fui al otro día a reclamar y me dijeron que como había comido la mitad del plato, no se podía hacer reclamo. Después de argumentar por el tema, me devolvieron el dinero ($17 dólares) y me prohibieron que volviera al lugar…. Primero que mi intención era no volver más y segundo, que si no hubiera sido desde el principio tan soberbia la dama que me atendió y que no me hubiera pedido disculpas, no hubiera publicado mi experiencia.
