One of the best meals I've had in a long time. The drinks were top notch and staff were amazing. We loved everything! We enjoyed a Hibiscus Mimosa and Bloody Mary, shrimp and grits, and Eggs Benedict.
This is a pricey meal. Enjoyed the food, ambiance, and service. I had an appetizer, entree, and dessert. The appetizer and entree were fantastic. Less impressed with the dessert (espresso something) and it was served cold. I called and made reservations because limited space and fills up quickly. Being within the Hale hotel is neat but if you aren’t a guest —you’ll typically need to park and walk to get there. The flowers (edible on the meal is a cool touch ). The wall garden, candles on the table, and enjoyable music (Otis, BB King, etc ) made for a lovely dinner. Service and staff were friendly and helpful.
This restaurant is inside the Hotel Hale and as guests, we have dined at Eden several times during our stay. The food is excellent and Robert is very attentive. The owners, Pat and Ellen, are equally attentive. Great menu and haven't had anything that wasn't tasteful and enjoyable.
The owner Pat was lovely. We stopped for happy hour and rolled into dinner because the food and service was amazing. Unique and wonderful cocktail and their burata appetizer was a knock out. Thanks to our server Robert for a lovely experience
Love the converted bath house updated with touches of modern elegance. We enjoyed our meal so much we returned the next afternoon for appetizers and wine. The staff is friendly, the steak cooked perfectly and the homemade pepper jelly better than any we've had in Louisiana. The owner was on site for both visits and made us feel like locals that had been there dozens of times. I would count this restaurant as one of the highlights of our visit and would definitely return next time in the area.
Wonderful food and drinks. Best crab cake I've had in years!! I will definitely come here again next time I'm in town. Highly recommend. Don't forget to make a reservation.
Y’all, this spot is something special. Housed in a beautifully restored old bathhouse, it’s full of charm and history. The crab cake Benedict is out of this world, and the fresh mimosa flight? Pure joy. It’s the kind of place that turns brunch into a sweet memory. A must try for locals and tourists alike.
Loved it! It was a relaxed environment with great food. We had filet, surf and turf, chicken piccata and pasta. All four were great and even the sirloin was tender and tasty. The chocolate cake was good and the bread pudding was great! They have a small staff so it is a little slow but not bad. The staff was friendly and helpful and the owner/manager was very friendly and entertaining. They had tasty options for my wife that cannot have gluten, dairy or soy (filet).
Great historic spot to have lunch. I was by myself and even though fully booked for Mother’s Day they tried to fit me in at the bar despite it being one of their busiest days. Avocado toast was above average. Mainly go for the historic location/scene. It seemed like a quick lunch was a good deal for getting the vibe without spending too much.
Absolutely amazing service and delicious food! The chef is stellar, and Stacy made us feel right at home and made our grandmother feel incredibly special on her birthday. Can't recommend this establishment enough!
Fantastic service, casual atmosphere, welcoming staff, beautiful presentation, scrumptious and delectable fare! Robert, our server, was great! Located inside a charming boutique hotel — Hotel Hale — owned and operated by local Mayor Pat McCabe whom we had the pleasure of meeting! We enjoyed the burrata, eggplant frites, and basil pesto pasta! Yum!
Exceptional meal. Wonderful presentation. I had the salmon and every bite was very flavorful. The lavender elderberry mocktail was very refreshing and the service was great! One of the best meals we had in Hot Springs.
Perfect date night! The food was fresh, the palate was so well balanced, and was overall just a treat to the senses. The service from Lindsey was top notch, and the ambience was a highlight of our Hot Springs experience! To traveling city dwellers, just a note to plan an “early” dinner, seating closes at 7. Excited to be back someday!
We always eat at Eden when in town, and it is always delicious. The food is so flavorful and seasoned just right! The presentation is really nice, and the craft drinks are great and very reasonably priced. The service is always very good, and the owners work really hard to preserve this historical gem!!!
Great food for a great price. Really high quality service- made me feel comfortable without hovering. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality and amount of the food for both myself and my sister. Best of all- the ambiance is super cool- love the natural light and the plant wall. Would definitely return here again if I was in Hot Springs in the future.
We recently visited Hot springs Arkansas and Eden was phenomenal. The vibe, the food taste and presentation, and the service were all 5 star. We had the best service! We had the lamb, the Hawaiian walu, the tuna crostini, and drinks. Everything, and I mean everything, was excellent.
We treated ourselves and a couple of friends to lunch here. No brunch on this Memorial Day Monday but delish, right sized fare appropriate for a warm day. We loved our lamb kabobs, burgers, and tuna crostini. No to mention the absolutely Amazing gin fizz with egg white topper and the power packed “Clockwork Orange” rum martini. We will return and we are already excited about it, too.
The food is always phenomenal. We’re huge Eden fans. Do yourself a favor and get the French toast with a mimosa flight. Robert is always super kind, attentive, and funny. I recommend Eden to anyone looking for a great upscale brunch experience. I love taking my family and friends out to try it.
Best meal and cocktails I have had in Arkansas and that's saying a lot as all the food in this state has been superb! Cozy atmosphere and welcoming staff. Was very happy to see a lot of decadent gluten-free options but hope they add more to the dessert menu. This was a meal I will remember and crave for years to come!
Stopped in to Eden while I was in town for a quick Happy Hour bite. The historic building, intimate atmosphere and charming staff really overwhelmed me. I was not expecting the level of excellence I experienced. I had an old fashioned (made the correct way) a small salad (not normally a salad guy, but wanted to branch out) and a Guinness Beef soup (never in my life have I enjoyed mushrooms, but in this stew I did.) Everything was exemplary. 5 stars.
Lovely ambiance and excellent food. Had the gazpacho soup, a cool and spicy experience! The lamb dish was very good. The grand mariner strawberry cream dessert was light and delish. Would definetly return when next in the area. Thank you, Eden ♡
We had a great dinner at Eden during our stay at Hot Springs. The server was very kind and the chef even came and personally spoke to the guests at each of the tables. Highly recommend.
This is a gem in a tourist community! The ratings are not reflective of the great food, service and atmosphere. We stayed in the hotel and ate there several times. Every meal is 5 stars at a 3 or so star price! The food has tremendous flavor and the preparation and presentation is 5 star. Most restaurants over promise and under deliver. The menu reads great food and comes out even better. We tried every item we can and were super impressed with every serving.
I'm literally still here eating and could not wait to give 5 stars. Everything is fantastic and Miquon is a dream! Phil Rosenthal needs to eat here amd make the face he makes.
We had Sunday brunch here, and the food and drink were fantastic. Our server, Robert, stood out among the service staff. He had a very welcoming personality and seemed to truly appreciate our business - five stars for him!
We had a large party on a Friday night with reservations. They were ready for us and sat us immediately. Our server was Robert and let me tell you he worked his tail off!! He didn’t mess up one orders and was on the spot with EVERYTHING! The food was amazing the atmosphere is great and service was 2nd to none. Save room for dessert! The ooey gooey cake is phenomenal!!
We recently dined at Eden restaurant and had a wonderful experience. The staff was attentive but not hovering. When we asked for special consideration, we were given them. We plan to return on our next visit to Hot Springs. They have a great reputation for the weekend brunch which we will try next time.
Absolutely amazing. Only downfall (imo, and more so a personal thing), the sun can get pretty bright. So if you’re sitting in the middle, prepare to get beamed on. Other than that, the food was delicious. They even gave us a warm brownie with ice cream and whipped cream to celebrate our one year wedding anniversary. Server was great as well. Definitely will be returning here in the future.
Excellent, well thought out and flavorful vegan options! The space is very pretty with beautiful healthy plants on the wall and a sky lights. All the staff was so sweet.
This quaint gem is unpretentious yet classic and elegant without being ostentatious . Robert’s ( the waiter ) service was superb. Another fascinating fact is that most nice restaurants minimize the portion size to save money . The chef did a phenomenal job of feeding those with the hungry hippo appetites . A pleasant surprise for the eyes and the stomach. Thank you
Had dinner here. The food was excellent and the hospitality was amazing. The proprietor was so kind to my mom and my husband enjoyed discussing bourbon with the bartender. our sever, MaQuon(sp?) was attentive and personable. An excellent evening all around.
The old world ambiance is charming. The servers, manager and chef are all delightful. The food was a little heavier on the salt than our group preferred, but the management was so accommodating they replaced my friend's meal and offered to replace ours as well, but we declined. The drinks were lovely and enjoyable. We will be back looking forward to even better food, drinks, and some more of the awesome service they have.
Mushroom lovers- omg the vegan wings were phenomenal! They shredded like chicken and the flavor profile and texture was comfort meets classy. The sweet pepper sauce was my favorite. My friends got the mussels and I’d definitely get those next time, they were some of the best I’ve had in Hot Springs. Also, there’s vegan options, even a soup! A man next to us ordered the pork shank and HOLY COW that thing is impressive! It looks totally worth the price and satisfying. This is a great date night place to impress with not only the food but the atmosphere and location.
Probably a bit underrated, hidden inside a hotel. When I walked in, I thought it was a small food joint, but then we were led into the inner dining room, which was well decorated. The room is a little darker than I’d like. The ahi tuna is a difficult dish and I think they did well. This one was probably among the best I’ve had so far. Barbecue pork was not really interesting. The board was nice.
Great food, very well seasoned. We got the crab cake, Eden Surf & Turf, lemon drop and I can’t remember the other drink but we enjoyed ourselvesz
Decided to try on this place solely for the bread pudding as a lil snack before close at Brunch today and it was amazing. I’m a big fan of bread pudding. I do wish it was served a lil hotter and more of the sauce. Either way I was satisfied for last minute order.
So much potential. The food, drink and service were good but the atmosphere felt like a retirement home dinning room. The decor was not well coordinated and the lighting was too bright. The living wall is a great focal point. Wish they would have carried that natural design element through the space.
Wonderful food, great service, and beautiful atmosphere. Great creative cocktails. Very pricey. Will accommodate vegans. Great for special occasions.
Great restaurant. The food was good. I do feel that atmosphere was nice with the glass ceiling and the chairs were great. The waiter was my only main issue as maybe he was overwhelmed. He forgot to take drink orders and then didn’t bring us our check for a while. The small cakes at the end was a nice touch but I would have ordered another drink if he would have brought back the menu but forgot. Anyway I would still go again and give it another chance.
Charming Brunch Spot in Town Had brunch at Edens while visiting from OKC, and the space is absolutely gorgeous—bright, stylish, and perfect for a relaxed weekend vibe. The Bananas Foster waffles were to die for—easily the highlight of the meal. While the rest of the food was just okay, the drinks were fantastic and definitely elevated the experience. Overall, a lovely spot to enjoy brunch with great ambiance and a few standout bites.
Very nice, a little hard to find from lack of exterior signage. Food was excellent, service was good, ambiance was great! The Old Fashions were different? First I've tasted with no cherry, or cherry substitute, but tasty. Definitely worth a second visit!
Cute little brunch spot, but smaller than expected and tables feel a bit cramped. We enjoyed the French toast and Impossible burger — both were really good. I was surprised that the $4 hot tea was just hot water with Tazo sachets. That may be common, but I wouldn’t order it again. I also wouldn’t recommend the sweetened iced tea. The check-in experience wasn’t great — we weren’t acknowledged for about 5 minutes while staff assisted hotel guests. However, our server was friendly once we were seated. Overall, good food, but the service and overall experience could be better.
Struggled a bit on this review- ultimately the drinks, appetizers, service and really cool location are worth a trip, while the entrees left a bit to be desired. The peach jalapeño martini was the perfect blend of sweet and steady spicy. For appetizers the tuna wontons and goat cheese bruschetta were great, and the Brie tomato galette was fantastic. Dining in the bathhouse with a glass ceiling, it’s a very cool experience in a place with deeply rooted history.
We went for happy hour. We ordered multiple food items, none of which were outstanding, but served the purpose. The Adam's fries were the best out of all our plates. Our drinks were good. Our server was wonderful and made it fun for us to be there, which was highly appreciated! It would have been nice if the man that was walking around watching would have smiled or acknowledged us. It was a little uncomfortable.
Ok so came in today. It was nice restaurant. Every member of staff except a younger hispanic (i think) woman, was acting like they didnt even want to be there. I was honestly shocked by lack of hospitality. Pasta dish was ok, worth half the price. Chicken dish was good but salty. Wedges very good. Atmosphere nice. Staff ruin the place with their attitude. I wont be back. I expect to be treated nicer when im spending 100 bucks (or more for most people). Dishes 30 each
Food was good, but honestly… not worth the price. Came here when it was not busy and still felt like ages to get our food out. The place itself is very pretty and the workers are great it’s just the menu that is the problem.
The libations were very good and the entrees were not good. It was eating salt. I had the salmon dish with broccoli and potatoes. The salmon was ok but it seemed liked they sprinkled salt on top. I took a bite of broccoli and it was like chomping down on salt. The appetizer was good but it didn’t taste like Boursin. The homemade pepper jelly was delicious. This would have been a different review if they weren’t so heavy handed on the salt. The manager never came to our table even after we complained about the saltiness. So much for customer service. The waitress was excellent.
HORRIBLE OWNERS!!! DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY AT EDEN OR HOTEL HALE. I had a confirmed reservation for a brunch for 50 people and the owners canceled a week before the event by sending an email. They said they weren't the "proper venue for our style event". How can they not be the "proper venue" for a brunch?! I asked them to confirm a vegan option on the menu and make a small adjustment and I received this email in response. Everything was perfectly fine for over a month when I was dealing with the wife but as soon as the husband got involved I got this cancellation. I'm not sure if it's because I requested a vegan option or because he found out that our event is tied to a burlesque festival in town. HORRIBLY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!! THIS BUSINESS DISCRIMINATED AGAINST OUR EVENT!!!
I just want to start off by saying that the food and drinks were amazing, and the waiter and bartender were both very sweet. Unfortunately, the service we experienced from who might be the manager or owner was absolutely horrible. To begin with, my boyfriend made a reservation for 7:45 which was offered by where he was booking from and the restaurant accepted this reservation. I did not know the closing time was 7:45 because I was not the one to book it, he was able to make a reservation for that time, and also 7:45 is a very odd time for a restaurant to close, but not my business. We were arriving from out of town and our ETA on Apple Maps said 7:47. I am a considerate person, so even for 2 minutes past the reservation time, I decided to call and let them know. The man on the phone was extremely rude to me saying things like “Well you aren’t going to be here at 8:00 are you?” “We’ll keep the kitchen open if you get here at 7:45.” I remained polite and informed him that the ETA moved to exactly 7:45 and he continued those questions. After a while we got a confirmation call for our reservation. I answered and told him that yes we are coming and I was the woman who called earlier. He then proceeded to act like he did before and told me parking would be bad. I then informed him I would drop my boyfriend off to get the table while I went park. He told me to park at a location and he’ll “deal with my car” which I don’t know what that meant. Upon arriving to the restaurant I decided to just drop my boyfriend off and buy parking not too far away. When I got there we were the only people in the restaurant which I guess because they closed, and were seated at our table. The ENTIRE time we ate the manager or owner stood at the bar and talked about us to the bartender while STARING at us trying to enjoy a meal. I thought that was extremely rude behavior towards a customer. I ended up not being able to enjoy my meal and asked for a to-go box. The owner/ manager did tell us goodbye but by then I had no patience to want to talk to him. I still (as politely as I could in the moment) said thank you to him and the employees. All of this said, if the restaurant had a problem with us being there at 7:45, don’t offer that time on the restaurant’s website or other booking websites. And even if they were frustrated, staring and talking badly about customers the entire time they eat is extremely poor service. The two employees serving us were very sweet and the food was delicious, but we will not be returning after this treatment. There was just no reason for this. The next night we were 5 minutes late to a reservation because we walked there and that restaurant treated us absolutely wonderful. Don’t blame customers (especially in a tourist area) for the times you make available to book. And yes, I am aware of 15 minute grace periods, which we did not break this time nor do I ever allow myself to break. If you want to close your kitchen, don’t accept reservations. Not to mention it’s extremely rude to rush customers when they sit down to enjoy a dinner. I wish those sweet employees well and hopefully they find a better job than working for such a rude and unmannered man.
DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! This restaurant advertises as an upscale establishment however, it’s not. The decor is dated and seems thrown together. They have signage for Dippin Dots in the front lobby, at an “upscale restaurant”. Go to The Porterhouse instead, where your money will be well spent! Upon arrival we were promptly seated at 6:45, our reservation time. The bartender greeted us at our table and brought the water that each table receives. My husband ordered an old fashion and said it was good. We ordered an appetizer and our food at the same time. 20 minutes after we ordered, our appetizer arrived. We finish it and our plate is taken away. By this time it’s roughly 7:20 or 7:30. Keep in mind we ordered our appetizer and meal right at 7:00. At 7:50 our food arrives. My husband ordered the surf and turf, steak cooked medium. He cuts into his steak and it’s grey, well done. We notify the one and only server within minutes. The server requested a new steak be cooked, this was another 30 minutes. Therefore I was completely finished with my meal and my husband hadn’t even started eating yet. So to sum it all up, we were at the restaurant from start to finish 2 hours, my husband’s 2nd steak was still over cooked, my ahi tuna was okay, the sweet potatoes weren’t seasoned at all not even salted, and the chocolate cake was dry. After tip our check was $187 and not worth it whatsoever. To add they had ONE server working a dining room that could seat roughly 50 people or more. There was also a bartender she waited on us at our table, she was very sweet however not attentive.
