Bombay Sweets serving vegetarian food since 1997 and we first time visited in 2002, no doubt that their food is popular in all communities even in local and Asian communities. Their prices are also very good so for any budget you can get fresh food. We most of the time enjoyed there Masla Dosa, Samosa Chaat, Chana Batoora, Tea and in sweets specially Julie! Always a good experience. Reminds us of India. We love to indulge in hot pranthas. very casual ambiance. you have to order and pick the food from the counter. They are really fast.

Bombay sweets. Still solid, after all these years. Latest trip include a Bhel puri, Papri chaat and dahi puri. Service is counter top. You find an open table and wait for your order to be called out. The chaats were pretty good. Nice hefty portion and vibrant. Ended with a cup of tea which was the icing on the cake. There is a vast selection of mithai also available for purchase and other Indian snacks I don’t know what happened to the 2 ladies that were always at the front counter? Did Bombay sweet have a management change?

Update: I have visited them a couple of times for dining. The food is delicious and authentic. Will definitely recommend it. I visited Bombay Sweets to purchase some sweets. While the staff interaction could have been more attentive, I was able to sample a few options and ultimately found a delicious selection.

They sell delicious breakfasts too. I ordered chole bathure and dosa. The chai is good here. They have wide varities of sweets and Indian Snacks. This Indian sweet shop offers an incredible variety of fresh and delicious sweets that truly capture the authentic flavors of India. The quality is top-notch, with each bite being perfectly balanced in sweetness. The staff is friendly, and the service is quick. The ambiance is clean and inviting, making it a delightful experience. Highly recommended!

The samosas are just wow. Eating hot samosas with chutneys will make your day just wow! The size of the samosas are big and it’s only $1.50 per piece. Ate there in the restaurant and also took back some semi fried ones at home. Semi fried ones are also of same price. The best samosa place in Houston I would say! Also tried dahi puri and papri chat, but were so sweet! I was expecting those to be spicy!!! The sweets there have lot of scent of rose water or kewra which I don’t like! But there are a lot of varieties that you can try! I would definitely go back there again.

A nice place for quick bite. Self serve but they prepared and delivered pretty quickly. Prices seem to be on the higher side. Lot of options for desi sweet meet, salty and sweet snacks in small packaging are avaliable. Most of them are house made and packed. Also availble are pani puri and chaat and all that street food stuff. Taste is good too. Atmosphere is below average but it was mostly neat and clean. We used to eat there weekly, years ago, but after becoming vegan rather than just vegetarian, it's basically impossible to tell what has cow juice in it, and perhaps unlike India, cows suffer horribly in American agriculture. So, we don't go at all. The people who work there are surly and seem kind of pissed off if you ask them which things have dairy (and they've told me stuff with paneer (cheese) didn't have diary).. so, it's too bad, because the food is good and we miss them yelling 'buffet naan!' over the loudspeaker.

I love you guys so much. I've been a patron for like 15 years. But I have to say that you probably wouldn't need commercials if you would bring your awesome buffet back. I'd pay like $18. I miss it…

Absolutely disappointed these sweets would have caused serious nausea and stomach pain. The ras malai was slimy and clearly expired it completely ruined our family gathering. Even the cham cham and jalebi lacked freshness and flavor. It’s hard to understand how anyone could serve desserts in such poor condition. It seems like the ras malai was at least a week old. This level of quality is unacceptable for any establishment selling sweets. I strictly need a refund on this I will be coming for it tomorrow!!

These guys have no system in place.. the order gets mixed up with other people who have ordered the same item… the quality of food is also bad.. the lady at register has no regards for customers… I would suggest to spend your money at a better place.... I would have given 0 ratings if google had that option 😂

The pani poori was good, and the samosa chaat was okay. Unfortunately, the balushahi was stale and hard, which was disappointing—I was surprised that old inventory was served. Additionally, the lady behind the counter was rude. Overall, it was not a great experience.

I went there with my friends who were in the town for Christmas leave. We reached around 9 10 PM and ordered food. Our food was delivered around 920 PM and within 5 minutes the guy at the counter shouted and asked us to leave within 5 minutes as the store closing time is 930. They should not have taken the order if they close at 930. Everyone was surprised and shocked with that guy's behavior. Even if it was free this is no way to treat customers I recommend no one to this place. They are just rude people with disgusting attitude. Avoid this place like plague!!

I ordered samosa chaat and dahi puri. I just had one bite from the samosa chaat and then I felt something hard in my mouth like a rock..I took this out of my mouth. Thought it was a piece of onion but no it’s a frickin’ piece of some type of plastic. I ordered this in person “to go”. I came home and this happened. This never happened to me before. I usually would come over to this store many times…but tonight this happened. Be careful what you’re eating..I could have choked. Bombay sweet employees…..DO BETTER!

The restaurant's quality seemed to be lacking during your visit, which is unfortunate. It is truly disappointing when cleanliness and hygiene standards are not met. Moreover, the unpleasant smell from restrooms can significantly detract from the dining experience.
