We had my birthday dinner here. Let me say, this place is PHENOMENAL! We had the shrimp and crab cheesecake as our appetizer followed with their pasta (I can’t remember the names. 😭) pls give this place a try! Amazing atmosphere as well! Very sleek and modern themed decor! Servers were also very attentive!

I had a truly exceptional dinner experience at La Griglia last night, with outstanding food and service. The lively and colorful atmosphere makes it a perfect spot to dine with friends or family. The service was exceptional! It's a pleasure to encounter staff who are well-trained, happy, and friendly, a rarity to find all three qualities in today's world. Dining in their outdoor patio feels like you are sitting at a restaurant on the Mediterranean with the abundant landscaping and beautiful furnishings.

We always come and sit at the bar. We like our bartender always takes care of us and makes great drinks. If we get the chance we will try to sit in front of the wood oven. Truffle ravioli and custom truffle Pizza are a must. Fettuccine in a fire parmesan wheel served tableside is also a great choice.. One of my favorite places in town.

From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, lively, and elegant — perfect for both a special occasion or an indulgent night out. The service was exceptional. Our server staff was attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable about the menu, and made great recommendations, especially when it came to wine pairings. The food was phenomenal. We started with the wagyu carpaccio and mozzarella cheese — both fresh and flavorful. For our main courses, the short ribs pasta, table side pasta, and red snapper were standouts — perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. Every dish was rich in flavor, and you could tell the ingredients were top quality. The dessert menu was just as impressive. We tried the tiramisu, cheesecake, and chocolate cake, which were the perfect sweet ending to an already incredible meal. La Griglia manages to combine elegance, great energy, and consistently delicious food in one experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking for refined Italian cuisine in a stylish setting.

What a great night we had here to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The ambiance was fantastic and service was even better. Our waiter was charismatic and gave great recommendations. There is a free parking lot but several spots are reserved for valet so you might have to valet on the weekend as we went during the week and the streets were full only a few free spots available. Overall excellent food and service would highly recommend for a special outing!

The service was amazing, and they always kept our water glasses filled the entire meal. I ordered the lobster bisque and the branzino fish. The bisque had plenty of lobster and was very delicious. The only change I would make is to add a bit of pepper for some spice as it was primarily creamy and smooth. My wife and I finished both of our orders. The branzino was a very light meal. It had a spicy sauce on the side which really helped the flavor of the fish. We highly recommend this restaurant for a patio lunch on a nice spring day.

We had a wonderful time at La Griglia! A friend recommended it, and it did not disappoint. The meal started with a delicious house pizza, followed by fresh handmade pasta and perfectly cooked lamb. We ended with a beautiful Key Lime pie. Amazing food, great atmosphere, and excellent service, perfect for any celebration!

This was our first time dining at La Griglia. Upon arrival, we were impressed by the upscale decor and atmosphere. The food is some of the best that we have had in Houston. Our experience started off with the charcuterie, which was fantastic. It is more than enough to get a table of 4 to 6 started for the evening. We enjoyed our meals, including the Frutti Di Mare and the Short Rib Capalleti. The pasta was house made and cooked to perfection. We finished the night with a delicious key lime pie, which is a must try and the bread pudding.

Friends recommended this restaurant. Liked it so much. Service is perfect. Wine is great, appetizers are delicious and portions are really decent size. We could not eat more after appetizers, never got to main course because of the big appetizer portions. Enjoyed the desert as well, chocolate cake is good. They have candles just in case you need. Would come back to La Griglia again and would recommend to friends or whoever likes Italian cuisine.

Food and drinks were good. Staff was friendly. The steak was cook perfectly and the ambiance at the patio was great. It has good selection of wines. Parking is by paid valet and it isn't cheap, so come prepared or walk from nearby street parking. Cocktails were good too. Overall a good experience.

Giving two stars cause experience was not great but the food was good. First when we got there the hostess were not the kindest. Sat at the bar because they told us they were running behind on outdoor seating. I had a reservation at 8pm. We sat at the bar for 40 minutes. I had to ask the hostess multiple times when our table would be ready. Suddenly when we speak to a manager a table magically is open. The waitstaff was not the kindest we saw our waitress a total of two times the entire night. It’s seems like she left mid dinner because we never saw her again after the second time. I will say the people assisting the waitress were great. We get seated and our bread and out of no where a roach is on the table! The staff were quick to kill it but still so disgusting! Overall our experience was not great but the food was good. So if you want subpar service but good food the you found your place.

We really wanted to love this place. I made a reservation for five on Friday night to celebrate my wife’s birthday, so we came in excited and expecting a memorable experience. The restaurant itself is beautiful the ambiance and décor are truly impressive. Unfortunately, the service did not match the setting. We were seated right away, which we appreciated. However, once we sat down, we weren’t attended to for quite some time. I had to flag someone down just to get menus so we could begin ordering drinks. No one asked if it was our first time visiting, and there was no explanation of the menu. The menu is fairly extensive and includes several Italian terms, which made it a bit overwhelming. A brief walkthrough or even an offer to answer questions would have gone a long way. We weren’t asked if we needed help or recommendations, and as first-time guests, we felt left to figure everything out on our own. For a restaurant at this price point and reputation, we expected a more attentive and welcoming experience especially on a special occasion. The ambiance is spectacular, but overall the experience felt just okay. We left feeling disappointed, which was unfortunate given how much we were looking forward to celebrating there.

This was the most mid fine dining I’ve ever had. My girlfriend and I went for her birthday and while the place looked nice, everything we had was so overpriced and mediocre. I’ve been to Perry’s Steakhouse and not even paid as much as we did here. They give you some pizza bread as an appetizer that looks like it was from some pizza they had left over from the day before. I was taken back when I saw it because it was so unappealing. We tried the steak, a pasta, some appetizer with prosciutto, got two drinks each and I tried some fish. The bill was over $300. The waiter we had was polite but I wouldn’t waste my time going here again because of the food. Idk if there are good reviews just because of the service or the ambience but I think people just be lying because of the aesthetics. That’s my hot take on this place. Thanks for reading.
