Simple decor, ample seating area for big and small groups, and friendly staff. I love the green tea shaved ice. So glad to have found a place that sells flavored shaved ice. I could taste the green tea in the shaved ice. It was so delicious. Chocolate and mochi pair well with green tea, thus my topping choices. The Hill size is perfect for one. I also had the Super Mango smoothie with rainbow jelly. So so good. The smoothie is blended with real fruits! This is a perfect dessert place. I would come back for more.

Definitely not your typical shaved ice. We really enjoyed this. It’s a much different way to eat boba since not using a straw, They have many different flavors but we got the green tea. Loved the sweet and condensed milk drizzled on top of the green tea shaved ice. 100% would go again to try all the other flavors.

Our first visit to Nu Ice & Drinks was fantastic. It's such a cute place with so many selections. We loved the Lychee Green Tea with Jellies. We can't wait to return to try other treats.

How could I have passed by this place so often for all these years and not even know it existed!? We clearly stumbled in by luck. Though what a treat!! It's a little overwhelming at first to see so many flavors and options. That said, I prefer options as opposed to limited menus. We had the Nutella shaved icecream with Boba poppers. It was amazing. Light, fluffy and delicious. This could become an addiction!! We shared the small size and it priced just under $8. It was more than enough for two of us. Infact, we can't imagine the size of the large serving given the small was a very generous portion. Fun place with a relaxed vibe and chill music. We look forward to trying more flavors in the near future!

This place is really amazing. I am glad we passed by, and had the best ice cream ever! Very clean. Social distance is enforcing, and the employee had a mask and gloves all the time. The serving size is really huge, looks great, and mostly tasted super.

First time I ever visited this place was in 2015 and I loved it since then. Now after 4 years I am revisiting this place. I loved the way they serve shaved ice. First time I had the shaved ice was a coffee flavor and it was delicious. Every bite of ice was flavorful and delicious. This time I tried three different flavors. First one was Nutella, vanilla and coconut. All of the flavors were good. They also carry bubble teas and other drinks. But I have never tried them but my friends did and they liked it. Thier service is quick and good. After placing the order they will prepare it in few minutes and call out your name so make sure you are paying attention to the names. There are no servers available so you gotta pick up your own orders. Anyway overall experience was good enjoyed the ice-cream and the environment

So, I have been coming here for a few years and surprisingly have not done a review for this place! Here in Houston, we are blessed with having so many great places for bubble tea and shaved ice. Nu Ice and Drinks has consistently been one of my favorites. They have expanded their flavors of ice throughout the years with Nutella and green tea being two of my favorite. They have set shaved ice combinations (sea salt caramel is also very good) and also the option to make your own (with as many toppings)! They have two sizes - hill and mountain. The hill is meant for 1 person but to tell you the truth, it can easily feed 2-4 especially if you had food before! One of my favorite items on the menu is blue honey pop drink. It used to be called Marco Polo. I am not sure what i love about it but it reminds me of the very short lived blue Pepsi that I loved (and was probably the only person that liked it). It has jelly and popping bubbles which are just fun! The decor and inside is also super cute. It is a great place to just sit and hang out. A must visit :)

After having dinner at Happy Lamb and their disappointing dessert, we ended up here to satisfy our sweet craving. I got the hill size Nutella with mango boba and lychee jelly and it was delicious. Size was huge which is my only complaint. Even though it says it’s for one person, its almost impossible for 1 person to finish so much of it. I wish they would have smaller and more practical size options. Service was very good. The place is in a very busy complex and finding parking can be sometimes very challenging specially rush hours or weekends. I liked the fact that they have a dedicated to-go parking spot.

The snow shaving ice looked very pretty. The green tea ice combo, mountain size, was ordered. The combo came with the boba and pudding at side. It tasted great with the green tea flavor. It’s nice sweet treat after dinner. The cashier (probably the owner) was friendly and polite. You will need to order and pay at the cash counter and pick up the order by yourself as well.

Place looks cool. Seemed busy but only one person was working. He was on it though, but people did walk out due to the line. We ordered the Green Tealicous and the King Kong milk tea. The Green Tealiciois was good. Macha Green tea. 👍 The King Kong was entirely too sweet. Definitely needs some extra ice or watering down. Drink if you have a HUGE sweet tooth I did not order the shaved ice but it looks delicious 😋 definitely will try it next time. Add some photos. Like and follow for more reviews - APK

Such delicious drinks.. I hold myself back from going days in a row ummm umm yum! Update I returned again on 11/15, and unfortunately the condition of the place was disappointing. I’m not going to say it was outright dirty, but for a business that serves food and drinks, the level of cleanliness was not acceptable. From the counter, I could see the serving station looking very thrown together. The entire area just looked like it needed a proper deep cleaning. The counters looked sticky, and overall everything behind the counter appeared sticky or in need of a good cleaning.. The front door had visible fingerprints on the glass, which doesn’t give a welcoming first impression. I will come back one more time, but if the place still looks like this, I won’t be purchasing anything and will not return! Dear owner it's your job to make sure this place is clean!
