The Mexican Candy Shot was exceptional—sweet, spicy, and perfectly balanced. You can tell the bartenders here are true masters of their craft. Every drink feels like it’s made with precision and passion. Easily one of the best bar experiences I’ve had in a long time. Will be back for the steak night next time
We had a party of 20 Pickleball ladies. We got off to a slightly rough start with the WNBA playoffs games vs football but the manager came thru like a rock star. Love the environment. Food trucks were awesome and staff was great. Funday Sunday!!
Patterson Public House is the perfect neighborhood bar. The vibe is welcoming and laid-back, with super friendly bartenders who make you feel right at home. It’s also a very inclusive spot, which adds to the warm community atmosphere. The location couldn’t be better—right on the edge of Patterson Park, making it an ideal stop after a walk. Outdoor seating with park views is a huge plus. The beer selection is excellent, the cocktails are on point, and the food is much better than typical bar fare. I especially recommend the shrimp po-boy and the daily specials made with fresh, local ingredients. Service here is consistently great—personable, attentive, and fun. It’s the kind of place where you can come for a quick drink and end up staying for hours. If you’re looking for a chill, friendly, and genuinely local bar with great drinks, good food, and welcoming energy, Patterson Public House is a must.
Had my son’s 30th birthday party here and a group of about 40 guest. From location, atmosphere and staff everything was great! We were able to bring in our own catering and decorations. There was a nice inside area they reserved for us. Kayla helped me book it and was quick to answering all my texts. Mel the bartender was amazing and the Manager Jeff was very friendly and helpful throughout the party. My son and all the guest enjoyed themselves and had so much fun! Highly recommend this spot for any type of gathering. You will not be disappointed!
Awesome place to watch football. Staff were super friendly. Lots of drink options. Happened to find the Houston Eagles Nest group and had so much fun. The espresso martini was excellent. They don't serve food but have 2 food trucks outside. They also allowed us to bring food in as long as we were buying drinks. Loved that they had frozen drinks as well since it was hot outside.
We had a post Catholic Wedding celebration here at Pattersons Park. We reserved the top deck for our party. The process was very easy to set up, we emailed the manager to reserve with no charge. There were people in our reserved section once we arrived but the manager helped us ask them to move quickly. We enjoyed our time even though it was outdoors. The fans helped with the heat and there were plenty of TVs to watch football. Overall great process and highly recommend for small gatherings! We will be back!
Super vibes and really great drinks. I went around 3pm for a quick meet up with friends. The French 75 was so good. The patio is cute and the perfect chill spot when the weather isn’t blazing hot. There’s a good amount of parking available. I recommend giving this place a try. The cocktails are on average about $13-16.
Hey, this spot is awesome for hanging out, relaxing, catching the game, savoring drinks, trying out diverse food trucks, and, best of all, grooving to Salsa & Bachata on Sundays! Trust me, it's a must-visit. Can't wait for the weather to cool down so I can fully appreciate the upstairs deck with my buddies. You've got to come check out the Sunday Funday Latin Nights!
Came to visit Houston this weekend and we loved this place. We came during the day around 2 pm and then again around 11pm. Great atmosphere, lots of seating inside with TVs, outside more TVs and fans. Rooftop area was super cute. But our favorite part of the experience was the service from Malcom. We experienced the best service from him all employees were nice but he went above and beyond! He created a drink for us, truly took his time thinking of something unique and different that wasn’t so sweet. It definitely needs to be on their menu now! Will definitely come back when we’re in town.
An absolute gem! The ambiance is vibrant yet relaxed, making it the perfect spot to unwind. The drink menu is diverse and exciting, offering something for everyone. The bartender, Jagger, was incredibly helpful, attentive, and made fantastic recommendations that perfectly suited my taste. Their friendly demeanor and expertise made my visit memorable. I highly recommend! Great place to study or watch whatever game may be playing also 🫶 Pet friendly!!
We hosted an event for our business at Patterson Park with around 60 people and it was amazing! They did everything to accommodate us, we had a section of the bar reserved for our group, and even had a bartender coming and serving so our group didn’t have to keep going to the bar each time they wanted a drink. They also moved around their furniture how we wanted it, to make the space exactly as we liked! This was the perfect spot for a party like ours, it was a blast and everyone afterwards said they loved the venue! Highly recommend Patterson Park for your next event!
Patterson Park is a must-visit spot for anyone looking for a unique and exciting experience. With its charming tree house design and rotating lineup of food trucks. The cocktails are top-notch and expertly crafted, making for a truly memorable evening. Although it can get crowded at times, the energy and atmosphere are unbeatable. Overall, Patterson Park is a 5-star destination that should not be missed!
Being a local here in Houston, we are always looking into new places to go to. Once we heard of the concept of a treehouse bar that is also DOG FRIENDLY opening up( I mean c’mon who could resist as an adult saying no to a treehouse, dog friendly, and plus alcohol) we knew we had to check it out right away. We went on a Saturday around 6:30, although it was pretty packed by then we were fortunate to find parking right away. The walk was under 30 seconds. Before entrance, they do check ID as this establishment is strictly 21+ and up. The view was spectacular and the atmosphere was very lively. Plenty of seatings everywhere. Their drinks are so delicious, and they have some of the sweetest and fastest bartenders. Jay and Adrian are so amazing. Anything you want they’ll make it. They’re super fast and efficient. Stuck on what to drink? Ask for their recommendations, you won’t regret it. Patterson park also has food trucks in case you don’t want to drink on an empty stomach. Can’t wait to come back here again soon with our dog! 💚
Cool patio bar with a laid-back vibe and plenty of space to hang out. Drinks were good, music wasn’t too loud, and it’s a nice place to meet friends or just relax outside. The atmosphere feels easygoing and welcoming. Service was solid overall. It gets lively in the evening, which makes it more fun. Definitely a spot I’d visit again.
This is a great neighborhood bar. The set up is too cute. You can dip your feet in the pool or swing on the patio. I was too early for the food truck. The manager was cool with us ordering something from DoorDash. This is definitely a cool spot to drink, watch TV, chill and play some cool games with your friends.
Only table that was available was not clean. Had to get someone to clean it and take away the empty bottles. Two of the three bartenders were cool. One just didn't give a darn. Nice for watching college games. We only had drinks. Shot it to the bartender on her third day. She was helpful, and cute.
Indoor/outdoor multi-level bar next to some forestry off of i-10 near shepherd. The establishment just opened and they are getting their parking situation figured out, until the be ready to park and walk. Service was incredibly slow, no waiters, only bartenders. Bartenders weren't friendly. The main attraction here is the "treehouse" vibe you get with the indoor/outdoor seating.
Our first experience here was not the best. We arrived early, a bartender and a manager were present, and none of them said hi or anything at all. We ordered some drinks and shots(Mexican candies and green teas) they were bad. They don't even use Jameson for green teas. For a slow day, Scarlett, the bartender seemed really bored or annoyed. Her talk to the few customers was how they are the busiest bar in town and how they do things differently in "The Heights." her attitude itself was rude and obnoxious. It's a shame because the place is nice. They just need to be more friendly and better their customer service. People say parking is limited but since we arrived early we didn't have any problem with it. They don't have a kitchen, but I saw a food truck outside. Honestly, I don't recommend this place. If you are looking for better, friendlier service, bigger bar, just drive down on I-10, and you will find Kirby Ice House. Bigger, busier and nicer place with nice servers.
First off this place is dirty. Staff is rude and bar tenders are slow and even more rude than the staff. Bar tenders had zero personality, kindness, smiles or acknowledgement of guests. Do not go! A real shame because the building itself is very cool and has a lot of potential.
