Sucha great spot for pictures. I wish there was a space to dance. Amazing designs and cool people. The drinks were affordable. You drink here and chat and relax with your friends. Kinda crowded. Nice restrooms and tons of cool visuals. Definitely felt like aliens in space! Tons of free parking in the neighborhoods nearby.

Really cool place although a bit small. Does have outdoor seating. House cocktails didn't wow me but that's just preference. Decently priced though. Parking is very limited unless you pay valet which was $10 when I went. 2 story with seating on both stories but gets filled quickly. Love the vibe and decor though. One of the coolest places in Montrose. Music was anywhere from rock,country and some house.

The atmosphere, the vibe, and the decoration are what make this place spectacular. A space city bar for Houston, you can't get much better than that. If you are a final frontier/science fan/space geek, you will love this bar. Cocktails are good, pretty clever, and full of spacepuns. Be sure to tip the staff and hang out for a while. There is a lot of hidden details that are worth checking out. Highly recommend.

What can I say this place is literally out of this world. What a perfect themed bar for Houston as space city. We came and checked out this new bar and we arrived for happy hour which is half all house cocktails for the hour what a great deal for Houston. I've loved their theme cocktail to match the atmosphere and nice cool space names. The bartenders are very friendly and great at making drinks. Easily coming back to this bar again especially for happy hour l.

Was able to catch happy hour. The Mango Lasso was delicious. A very cool spot to hang and dj was good. It got extremely busy after we arrived but the bartenders were moving swiftly.

So glad that my crew and I got to check it out on your 1st night of your grand opening. Cool concept. Luv the pastel and neon glowy decor, nice patio, indoor communal long table for peeps to mix and mingle and meeting new friends. The cocktail menu is interesting with nice use of different glassware. The main neon mural is a nice photogenic spot. Luv the 2nd floor that overlooking the ground floor. And the entrance to the washroom is cool. Only a few small nits is that...when you sell beer and cocktails at one single bar, it takes a long time to get drinks. Would luv to see a 2nd bar station at the 2nd floor or possibly a line just to buy beer (express line) so we don't have to wait for the cocktails mixing if we don't intend to buy cocktails. Also, would prefer more edm or space/ufo music vs 80s and 90s slow jam that didn't really fit the vibe. Otherwise, this is an awesome place in Houston.

Such an awesome spot! I am beyond excited to finally see them open up with this new concept. I came in for their Sunset Hour (7p-8p), which is essentially their happy hour. Fantastic deal. Tried a couple of their house cocktails. It was surreal coming back into this building after so many years. I know Chris and his staff are going to do amazing! This is an awesome addition to the Montrose area for sure. I absolutely recommend giving it a shot!

My friends and I LOVE coming here. We've been a few times in the past year and always have fun. Sunset hour is my favorite time to go when all drinks are half off and it's more chill. The bartenders are really friendly and always make us laugh. They kindly gave us free shots in celebration of my sister's birthday. Chris also gave her a free drink. She loved the Leo. :-) The illuminati drink is my personal fave. We have also been when it gets packed later in the night and it's still a fun vibe. This is one of my favorite places in Houston. I love places that give that extra special touch and have such a friendly staff. Can't wait to come back!

We visited on a day that wasn't too busy, but the atmosphere was great. The bartender on duty was fantastic and very laid-back. The drinks were quite good, and the popsicles we tried were delicious! I will definitely be returning.

This place literally feels "out-of-this-world"... Located right in the heart of Montrose, Roswell Bar offers a unique and inviting atmosphere, both very laid-back and lively. It has a friendly, neighborhood feel. The space-themed decor adds a fun and quirky element without being over the top. Dim lighting and comfortable seating on the top and bottom levels with some glow action— truly does not feel like you're in Houston! The drink menu is awesome. Their signature cocktails are creative and well-crafted, blending familiar flavors with unusual twists. We had a little issue with the beer tap being down but there's just so many other things to choose from. I will be investing more time with this place.

From the moment we stepped through the portal (aka the front door), we were launched into a ’90s fever dream fueled by cocktails, neon madness, holographic art, and enough nostalgia to make your inner child weep glitter. It’s like Lisa Frank got drunk with Daft Punk and opened a bar inside a lava lamp. Glow-in-the-dark murals? Check. Arcade games that still require skill and snacks? Check. A dance floor pulsing with the energy of a middle school sleepover gone rogue? Absolutely. If you’ve ever wanted to throw back a shot while locking eyes with a holographic alien, congratulations—this is your new church. Let’s talk drinks. They were just the right kind of ridiculous: brightly colored, possibly radioactive, and somehow still delicious. I don’t know what was in the shot called “Area 151,” but I felt like I got probed—in a good way. The only thing wetter than my cocktails was my nostalgia. We laughed. We danced. We played like it was 1999 and Blockbuster still existed. By the end of the night, I half expected someone to hand me a Capri Sun and a participation ribbon. Final Rating: 5 out of 5 alien abductions. Roswell’s isn’t just a bar—it’s a cosmic collision of retro chaos and boozy bliss. Whether you come to party with your past or just vibe in glow paint under a UFO ceiling, this place will abduct your expectations and return them drunk and smiling.

I came here in the beginning of June, with one of my girl-friends. The service was quick, it gave space vibes. The drinks were all glow in the dark related , which was on theme.

HOW COOOOOL IS THIS PLACE. We accidentally stumbled upon this bar with my friends at around 7PM and believe it or not but they have 50% off happy hour every week day until 8PM. That is just awesome. We got delicious space themed drinks for like 7 dollars each. The decor is a piece of art. You’ll feel like you left the planet for a bit.

This place is so cool! I just popped in because I could see it driving in Montrose anrea and it looked fun! The bartender was very nice and it was decorated spooky for Halloween. Everything was glowing including my drink! Fun place.

My wife and I ended up here after dinner and we loved the vibe of this place! It's always nice when a bar has a menu of specialty drinks, and Roswell didn't disappoint! Their drinks also seemed to include an ingredient that would glow well under black light, and the whole bar is lit with them. The bar was clean, the staff was friendly, the drinks were good! I liked the decor and they have really leaned into the black lights, and pulled it off well! Definitely a place I'd visit again!

Update: Another great visit. Quick service. A cosmic themed bar with neon lights. Cool space themed drinks that glow under the dark setting of the bar. Lively music and pleasant servers. Had a interstellar Smash, Vodka Water, House Choice Bourbon Cocktail and a jello shot. Great vibes!

Great service and the most inexpensive creative cocktails I’ve ever had in my travels. And the drinks are so good you don’t taste much alcohol (experienced) and they aren’t too sweet. Definitely go for their creative cocktails and outer space vibes.

super fun bar! drinks are decent priced and the vibe is AMAZING. got super lucky and came on a sunday, so it wasn’t too busy.

Only a couple of good drinks on the menu. I just cannot give a good review to a place that has low standards in terms of cleanliness. Bar was sticky. Floor was peeling. Bathroom had a bad smell.
