Thursday night—Come here! 25 percent discount on steaks. Buy one shot and get a second shot free. The steak was cooked how I asked. Tender. Juicy. The food was great. My waitress was attentive and gave me quality service. Free parking. Open late. Open 24 hours on weekends. I like this because sometimes I work late.
There’s a large dining room that feels like a restaurant in the suburbs and a very large bar seating area that is perfect for adult groups. Can’t go wrong with anything on the menu - quesadillas are big if you can’t figure out what to get
November 2025. This was my third time at this location and once again the food was amazing, service was just as good. This trip I sat at the bar and lucky for me one of the owners or management was there doing some books and recommended the special. Unfortunately I don't remember what is called but it comes in a giant lava bowl with beef chicken sausage and jumbo shrimp along with the onions peppers and a couple of huge chunks of cheese. It was all I could do to eat this dish but I did not get the tortillas which are delicious BTW but trying to stay just to carnivore. Perfect option. This was my second time to come to this location and very happy that I did. This was the combo fajitas that had ribs, steak, chicken, sausage and onions and bell peppers. I chose not to have any rice and beans or tortillas Just Pico, guacamole and the meat.
There are many place that people can eat Mexican food, but I believe Spanish Flowers is head and shoulders above most. The food and the serve are top notch. The menu is the right portion and out of this world! I would recommend the place to anyone. Alonzo was an amazing waiter!!
I’ve been coming for years!! My bestie & were here a couple months ago & had a flight margarita. Today we came back & had the best experience with our waitress Virgina & Marcos, the bartender. They gave the best service yet. Love this location. ♥️
From the moment we walked in to the restaurant on the first floor. The staff greeted us with such enthusiasm and smiles. We were escorted to the upper balcony. Food was amazing, served chips as bite food. Highly recommend their PARRILLADAS a mix of the Shrimp, Beef, and Chicken always hits. They have Aguas Fresca, Jamaica&Horchata. Service was quick and the music was a great mixture of Spanish Mexican music and English tunes. They also have TVs for Sport enthusiasts by the bars a Jumbo screen and smaller TVs all around. Thank you!
I want to start by thanking Ignacio the manager and Henry the cashier for their wonderful customer service. I woke up from a late nap and needed a quiet place to work on my laptop, but that offered margaritas and street tacos. Now if you live in houston you know, other places are very rowdy and crowded so this was super convenient and less than 5 minutes away from my house. The food came out super quick, and the house margarita was strong. I also tried a Don Julio martini just for funsies and it was pretty good. I paid $71 for everything and left a $10 tip. Tbh, when I came in my host and bartender service was a bit disappointing, not because of the language barrier but more so because they just didn’t seem interested in serving me (sometimes I feel like people don’t pay attention until you’re taking pictures and they realize you may leave a review which sucks). Although I do speak a little Spanish, I’m glad that Ignacio came up to me at the bar and sparked a conversation. They have buy one get one free shots, and one of their products with no additives he had great knowledge about so I tried it and it was VERY SMOOTH. He has only been here a month, but I think with him on the team this family owned business will have better customer service within the next few months. They also have a speakeasy on the weekends, and plan to do a brunch on Sundays - $29 all you can eat. The pictures don’t do it justice but the place is huge, 2 stories, patio and the bathrooms were super clean.
Great little taco shop with good customer service. You'll be pleased with how fresh the items they offer are as well as how quickly they push out the food. They open late night and will definitely feel you up after a night of drinking. They also have both vegan and peacaterian options for those that need them.

Shrimp cocktails are some of the best, micheladas always taste good no matter what beer you use. They make some of the best mole enchiladas, although a bit sweet, but most restaurants can't get mole right! A little pricey though so keep an eye on that.
The version of nachos that this establishment is great but the nachos had no flavor. The meat tasted bland. I would recommend using queso on those "nachos" to add flavor or some salt. Overall nice place and the fact that they are open 24/7 is cool. Most restaurants these days don't do that.
Place was open at 10 am on a Saturday. Have to agree the food is good but overpriced. I paid 16 dollars for a medium bowl of menudo. Menudo had hominy. Broth was flavorful and watery. I also paid 6.99 per barbacoa taco. Barbacoa had red seasoning. Each taco had about two tablespoons of meat inside. It would have been cheaper to get the plate.
Great atmosphere with good music, nice aesthetics, and a beautiful bar. The service was excellent, very attentive and welcoming, and the drinks were great. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing. I ordered the Spanish Flower breakfast with barbacoa, which had no flavor. The barbacoa was bland, and the hash browns were soft, oily, and lacked crispiness.
We first came here about 3 years ago. We loved it so much we decided to come back on a random Sunday night. Food was excellent, drinks were strong and yummy. My only complaint is that it took forever to get our food and drinks. My order was also slightly off, but no one came to check in on us. They were super understaffed, which isn’t the servers fault. Everyone was running around helping each other out which was nice to see. I recommend sitting on the rooftop if it’s open too! They have a dj and it’s just a whole lot of fun! We sat outside, it was quiet and peaceful (besides the 2 parties that were very ghetto and loud).

The torta size is small for the price \nNot only that but the fajita is nearly a whole without being cut .\nI wouldn't recommend this item .

I was very disappointed! My co-worker suggested we go here for a group lunch. Looking at the food on pics in the reviews looked completely different in person. I was disappointed with that salsa especially, in the pics it looked great in person no so great! My co-worker ordered the queso which tasted more like Rico's nacho cheese...she didn't like it and didn't eat it. I ordered lunch beef fajitas and they were tough! The wait staff were perfect...no complaints there. My coworker that recommended us to go even said he was disappointed because it was not like that when he went. Definitely wouldn't be going back!
hi and hello.. I wanted to write to you in regards to our dinner there last night which was Tuesday February 10th. It has been a long time since I have visited ur restaurant but we went on Saturday, February 7 and I was reminded how delicious the food was. So much that I suggested to a friend, who loves enchiladas de mole as much as I do, let's go to eat at Spanish flowers. We arrived, took about 5-7 minutes to even be greeted after being seated.. the restaurant was not that busy. We order our margaritas, no water was ever brought until we asked for it later during meal.. the server was more bothered it seemed that he had to wait on us. We were his only table on that side.. trust me.. we were watching. He kept disappearing.. so much that I ended up asking another server for more green salsa and napkins. I want to say.. this waiter rushingly checked in on us a few times.. Getting desert was even a bother, I asked for fried ice cream and he turned and pointed towards the entrance explaining the ice cream was there and I serve myself..(which was already closed by the way).. I just looked at him And explained .. we would like the fried ice cream.. once he brought that.. we didn't see him anymore. We waited a long while for the check and I finally asked the bartender.. he searched for ticket. And I asked him, where is our server? He responded w shrugged shoulder and said I'm not sure.. then the other waiter said they had our server by the ear .. I didn't even know what that meant but here we are, what I do know is... the service was absolutely disappointing. And my friend and I love to tip graciously, but not last night. One thing that bothers me the most is absolutely terrible service, especially in a nice restaurant like Spanish flowers. I wanted to send u this privately because I'm not the type to post publicly but unfortunately my email was ignored so now here we are. I would like to be contacted .. also, as we were walking to parking lot along the windows, we saw our waiter seating w a lady talking ..he didn't even acknowledge us, just looked and turned away. Hopefully he is not like this every time he works but his lack of attention on us as guests made dining there last night unpleasant. Especially after hyping up the place to my friend. Thank you..
We've been there for breakfast many times. The food was incredible for the price and atmosphere. This past Saturday we went for dinner and the drinks were excellent, just as we expected... but the enchiladas were a complete disappointment. From the moment they put the plates on the table, they were simply not appealing. I recommend the place for breakfast, but for dinner, the city has so many better options for the same price. Maybe we'll come back for breakfast if we're in the area... but never at other times.
I truly wish I could leave a glowing review, but unfortunately, my experience fell short. The restaurant is clean and housed in a beautiful building, and I have to commend our server for their patience and the manager for being exceptionally friendly. However, the service was disappointingly slow—our food took an excessive amount of time to arrive, and there was a long wait for refills and tortillas needed to complete the meal. Additionally, I was given incorrect pricing for my large house margarita, with a discrepancy of nearly $4. Chips and salsa were really good tasting but rest of the food was so so. To top it off, we opted for the birthday experience for my son, as his birthday is in three days, only to later find out that it wasn’t complimentary. While the atmosphere and staff were great, these issues significantly impacted my overall experience.

My husband went in Oder to go and I never ever had an issue till Now the chicken soup was all made out of a can potato’s were tasting waxy like from a can they had to also used chicken broth cause it did not taste homemade at all and only reason I went there for chicken soup was cause Arandas was closed on Xmas eve! And they also just chopped up some tomatoes and cilantro and threw it in there had no kind of veggies but potatoe and carrots and when do they ever ask what part of the chicken did we want? This is a first! So I called them to tell them I wasn’t happy w the food and why and the female that answered told me the manager would call me back and nothing I’m still waiting been 3 days a professional would return the call right away this is a nightmare seems like most people in the world r out there just scamming people and don’t care about their customers and I Never expected this from this place used to be my favorite place so this place should be shut down its so nasty disgusting and horrible people shame on you! God sees all!
What a waste of money. This is the shittiest Tex-Mex place I’ve ever been after living Texas for 25 years. There’s no one interested to seat you and I had to wave someone down to get seated. When you order eggs and potatoes, you get potatoes with half an egg - which taste soggy like they’ve been sitting in buffet water for two days. I literally gagged to eat them. The table was filthy. I would’ve asked for new silverware. Had anyone given a crap to come by and see how I was doing. I also ordered for tortillas and I had to wave someone down to give them to me. I also had to beg someone to give me my bill. What a shitty restaurant and a terrible experience . I cannot think of a worse restaurant I’ve ever been too.
LOOKS CAN BE DECEIVING!!!!!! Hi, I came here for my friend's birthday celebration expecting a good time with a great atmosphere and who I was met with? Disaster! While the drinks are amazing and we would love to keep them going the service and the food is less than desirable. I ordered the seafood guacamole, and although it looked pleasing to the eye, the flavors did not mesh well together it tasted as if the shrimp was bad and it led into the guacamole. The next dish would be the queso with the beef now I tried to return my order, but the manager was pretty aggressive and made it seem as if I needed to order another appetizer instead of just not having an appetizer at all. The queso was extremely watery with no flavor. The last meal that we tried would be fajitas we got chicken beef and shrimp. The beef was overcooked. The shrimp tasted all right, but there was no salt and the flavor simply wasn’t there. I called the manager over and let him know that we wanted to return the dishes. There was nothing left. I immediately received aggression from the manager and hostility. He immediately told me that they could only take 15% off because we had already returned a dish and it was unacceptable and the business cannot handle three returned dishes Although at our party there was a returned horchata that was disgusting a quesadilla that was disgusting and sad look at it (refer to the photos). A pollo marinero that was disgusting. Although I wanted to enjoy the place, the food was an extreme letdown so was the managerial service. The manager then came back and told me they could only do 20% they could not return our food because it would be bad for business. There was nothing else that he could do. I am fine with paying the bill, but I don’t believe that the service and the attitude were necessary. Unfortunately, I will not be returning nor will I be recommending this place to anyone that I know. The staff assumed that we weren’t going to pay they had a big gentleman who seemed to be the assistant manager guarding. I heard the waitress whisper to Him “It's okay they are going to pay”. We are the only two black patrons in our party. This was supposed to be a birthday celebration for our friend that turned into us being accosted and racially profiled. As a good lover and frequent patron of restaurants I have never received such horrible service from the waiters and managerial staff/ owners. IThis review was written in real-time.
I haven’t been here in a while. I was thinking on such a lovely day the balcony, as the view is great. It was closed and I opted for the patio. The service was deplorablethe Ws waitress hadtobefoubd the bring utensils. After taking the drinks order the waitress disappeared so long I nearly left. This was followed by flagging her down for utensils and the check. . A definite reason to choose a good restaurant in the area.
