Chuy's in Humble offers a fun, quirky Tex-Mex experience with large portions and friendly service. The creamy jalapeño dip, tres leches cake, and fajitas are popular. Some find the music loud and the atmosphere messy, and some dishes mediocre.

One of my favorite places to visit when I can. The service is always great. The Creamy Jalapeno Dip is a Must Have! For me, I love ordering the Elvis Tribute and it is enough food for me to enjoy two meals out of it.
Love this place, the food is awesome and the atmosphere is great.
Chuy’s is back!!! We’ve been going to chuy’s since the ‘90s in Dallas. This one took a dive after Covid but they are back to being spectacular! Our favorites of chile rellenos and fried chicken are here to stay. Happy hour from 3-6 for $5 chops and any queso. Food was so good and the service was amazing. Best salsa ever which has never changed…. Glad we went tonight!!
This is our weekly date-night place to go. The staff are great - only a few bad service experiences in the 3-4 years we have been going (which is to be expected at any restaurant). For the Charlotte area, the service is fantastic. If you’ve never been, the chips are dangerously good. Pair the chips with creamy jalapeño ranch. I personally love the taco salad or the chicken fajitas. Bring a light jacket or sweat shirt if you’re sitting inside because chances are you’ll be sitting near a vent. I warned you. Parking sucks. You’ll feel like a reef shark looking for pray. There are a ton of teens from wealthy families who act privileged and drive recklessly in the shopping center which detracts from the atmosphere.
Our server was AMAZING! His name was Cam and he even asked prior to me ordering and brought me the sauce to try, without me asking, to make sure I liked the sauce and I wanted to order the dish. Food came out so quick, drink from the bar right after my water! My husband and I talked during dinner and he gave us ample space but also peaked around to check our drinks and make sure we were enjoying everything. I have never had such a great server, he is the best! And Chuy's food is SO delicious! I just hate I was so hungry I didn't take a picture of my food!
Best chips anywhere and plenty of them. I had the new Chile relaño dinner. Excellent
It had been a while since we last ate here and we quickly realized how much we missed their food. Their queso is excellent and the chik a boom sauce is great. Our waitress was excellent helping both with drinks and dinner suggestions upon our request.
Love Chuy's! Great staff and food is great!
I came in today to pick up a container of their jalapeno ranch to bring 3.5 hours to my wife because she loves it and that's enough reason for me. The staff devised a way to keep the sauce on ice to survive the long drive. I can't compliment them enough for doing that for my wife. A thousand stars!
Delicious food. Large portions. Many sauce choices. Fresh salsa. Try the jalapeno rice. Great atsmophere. This was our first time there, so the manager gave us a "sauce tour" which was a sauce sampling platter and explanations of each one. Maybe he felt bad for me because he wouldnt sell me a (hanging) wooden fish that I really wanted. Bring a picture of your pooch in a frame to be hung on the wall for a free app.( I think). We'll definitely be back.
Our family was super glad that Chuys returned to the area after moving from Southpark. It's hard to go a long time without creamy jalapeño , the flour tortillas and beef fajitas. Great, friendly service at the new location. A few tricky spots: the main entrance is hard to find as well as the restrooms in the restaurant. See pictures. (They do have a family restroom now). We came at a moderate time, but they don't seem to have many areas to sit and wait if wait times were long or weather was a factor.
We are from Texas and drive an hour just to eat here. We tried all kinds of Mexican restaurants in Charlotte and were always disappointed, because we are so used to real TexMex. You will not be disappointed in their fajitas! Very generous on meat, meat is very tender and good spices! Yum! Service is always great too!
My daughter and I went here for a bday lunch and our server Asia was amazing. Seriously one of the best dining experiences we’ve ever had. Yes she was that great. Food was good and the atmosphere is fun. But the star of the place is Asia.
Tanner wasn’t an amazing waiter who knew the menu very very well. One of the best servers we’ve ever had
I LOVE this place. They make the best margaritas hands down! The make their margarita syrup/mix and use the freshest ingredients for everything.
I love Chuy's!! Whenever I visit an area that has one make a point to stop in. Delicious Tex Mex in a super fun environment, and the creamy jalapeno sauce can't be beat! Tortillas are made fresh in house, you can even watch them do it! I love their Chile Relleno and Enchiladas, and they have some of the tastiest rice and beans. Stop in for a $5 Marg and some of the best Tex Mex you've ever had. Don't pass this place up!
First time here. So good. Ordered the chuy gooey (not on menu, layered dip..beans, queso, ground beef, pick, jalapeno, sour cream, guacamole, lettuce) one with green sauce on top was chick chick boom boom- it has a kick, other picture is chimichanga, picked the creamy jalapeno sauce. Restaurant was fun and staff was friendly and helpful. Can't wait to go back
Chuy's is one of my favorite go to lunch/dinner spots in Waverly. The food is always delicious, service is great, and the Manager, AJ, is always friendly and kind. If you like Tex-Mex, Chuy's Waverly is your place!
First visit thanks to a friend. I loved the chip bar!! The salsa was great and the creamy jalapeno dip was delicious. I had the steak burrito for dinner. It was quite spicy but had a wonderful flavor. I was very pleased with everything here from the atmosphere to the service to the food. I will be back.
Food is always good and service is hit or miss. The staff seem like they are trying to keep up and it is a little disorganized. Won't keep us away from eating there though.
Chuy's is a whole vibe from the moment you walk in! Great customer service, fresh homemade chips with jalapeño ranch and salsa were amazing, and the shrimp tacos and burrito bowl were absolutely delicious. Definitely coming back!
I had such a great experience! I came in for lunch and the entire team was incredibly kind and welcoming. From the hostess, Nicole, at the front to the bartenders (Britnney & Michelle) and Tamario checking in often to make sure everything was going well. The food and drinks were delicious and I would definitely recommend.
John was absolutely great! This was my fiancé’s and my first time visiting, and he made the experience so easy and enjoyable. He was quick with our order, very attentive, and took the time to give helpful advice about the products. We truly appreciated his knowledge and professionalism. We will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend asking for John!
I love this place so much!!! Service is great and fast servers are always nice and helpful. Food is so good. We love the queso creamy jalapeños and fajitas. Always great and a go to that makes everyone happy.🌮🌯
Came in on whim from a recommendation and I am not disappointed. I was hesitant at first because I’m not the biggest fan of TexMex but the food was great. For dessert I had the tres leches. My server was Julius and by far, Julius was the best server I’ve had in a while. Very knowledgeable after only 2 months working there according to our conversation but I’ll be coming back based on that level of service alone. Very nice person and handled all of his tables very well!
My cousin and I had dinner there the other night. First time there and OH MAN was it delicious!! Chips, salsa and some type of jalapeno ranch to dip their yummy tortilla chips in. I got there fajita beef taco. The beef was to die for. SOO tasty. Everything there great. Our server Matt was super friendly, knowledgeable amd helpful. Not to mention hilarious!! Totally make a trip there if you want yummy food. I just wish I had taken foodie pics while we were there!! What are you waiting for?? GO!! 😁
Chuys is more than just a restauran it’s a true part of the community. The General Manager, Viet Tran, is one of the kindest people you’ll ever meet. He recently started a food drive to help those struggling with food insecurity, and it really shows how much he cares about people, not just customers. The staff are amazing too. Miguel went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect during my visit friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful. You can tell that Chuys is built on compassion and teamwork. I’m proud to support such a great organization that’s making a real difference in people’s lives!
The fact that the Chuy's owner cared enough to respond to my review, I changed to five stars. Appreciate the effort. Only issue was, I ordered a chimichanga with beans and no meat. In the end it turned out to be a veggie chimichanga with the fajita vegetables. I didn't want to waste the food so I ate it but was a little disappointed. But otherwise it tasted good. Thank you for reaching out. Look forward to the next time coming in
Love the creamy jalapeño dip they give you with salsa. The food was good for sure, the mole was a little strong in flavor in my opinion. Surprised they have full bar but no draft beer though. Either way, good food and all staff was friendly, everything was nice inside too. They have outdoor seating as well and parking is easy.
if you’re looking for very good Mexican restaurant. This is the correct place you should visit before you die. I promise the food is amazing and you can easily feel the difference than other restaurants. Whatever I ordered I like it. Location is amazing and it has outdoor and indoor sitting places. SERVICE could be much better but still OK. Price OK. Dating family solo however you go you will like it. If you’re seeking a truly exceptional Mexican restaurant, this is the place you must visit before you die. I assure you that the food is simply amazing, and you’ll immediately notice the difference compared to other restaurants. Regardless of what I ordered, I thoroughly enjoyed it. The location is fantastic, offering both outdoor and indoor seating options. While the service could be improved, it’s still acceptable. The prices are reasonable. Whether you’re dining with a date, family, or solo, you’ll definitely enjoy your time here.
Visiting this Tex-Mex restaurant was a great surprise. The decoration is mimicking the cafeterias from the late 70s. My pleasant surprise was the food, I ordered the chicken deluxe enchiladas, and tomatillo sauce was so tasty and just a hint of chili(I don't eat spicy foods) the tomato base rice was added some cumin which made it very flavorful. Tanner provided an excellent service and was very attentive to our needs. The only thing we didn't even want to try was the pico de gallo, it looked watery and just a mushy mixed.
Everything i had here was very tasty. Was able to get a burrito which was plentiful. chips and dip was free with my meal.

Don’t know who the woman was who brought me my food, but if you’re having a bad day, how about you stay home. Brought the bag out, asked for the name and I don’t remember if she said “here”, “here you go”, or nothing at all. It was obvious she wasn’t happy about something. Also, when someone requests that their food be separated, don’t argue. If you don’t do it, then say so. Otherwise just accommodate the request please.
The food and the value for the food was amazing but the service was the best I've ever seen lately it's been hard to get good service while our server went way above and beyond the overall experience in that restaurant we will go back many many times it's a great place to get a great meal and great customer service had a great price
Great place for a good meal but the wait for a table on Saturday was serious. Go only if you have the extra time to spend. The food was excellent and the wait staff very accommodating. Noise level inside was near screaming so it's probably not a great first date place.
Fun atmosphere, good TexMex. It's not fine dining, but we had great service from our waitress, who was knowledgeable about the menu and offered great suggestions. I got Baja tacos (fried fish) and they were tasty. My wife had the enchilada stack and enjoyed hers. Chips are light and tasty, just try not to fill up before your meal. We dined inside but they also have a cool patio that I'm sure will be packed during the warmer months. This place was very affordable, too, as our tab for two was under $25 (we didn't have alcohol). Excited to have a place open in Waverly! We will definitely return.
Food is always good. Only recommendation I would give to improve would be to offer black beans and not just refried beans for a healthier option. Service is usually good although some visits have had lousy service. Prices are very reasonable
Ask for creamy jalapeño ranch dressing to go with the chips and salsa. The queso compuesto is great for sharing. The tortillas are made fresh in house and you should ask for a couple regardless of what you order. Be sure to save room for dessert - the sopapillas are lovely pockets of fried dough with honey and powdered sugar and the tres leches cake taste like a cloud of magic in your mouth.
Favorite place to get frozen margaritas. The queso is so good and I've only tried the green chile enchilada and it was also pretty good. Service isn't amazing but it may have been a busy time or during shift change.
Good food. Excellent waiter. Wife had WAY too much sauce on enchiladas but they promptly replaced it.
I've been coming to Chuy's since before Elvis was scrubbed from the menu and before covid ended the free queso bar. I'm a serious Mexican food lover and can say without a doubt.. if you're looking for authentic Mexican food you wont find it here. However, if you are looking for fun Tex-Mex then you'll love it. The first thing I fell in love with was the Elvis Fried Chicken (now named Green Chili Fried Chicken). I'm not sure if Chuy's got sued by the Elvis Estate but thankfully the name change didn't actually change the dish. It comes with a chicken breast breaded with Lay's potato chips & fried to a golden brown, served over green chile sauce, topped with cheese, served with Mexican rice + refried beans. Its bonkers delicious but the green chili sauce is a tad on the spicy side so if you're not great with heat.. maybe leave it on the side. I've since graduated from the fried chicken to regularly ordering the "The Kings Memorial Combo" which comes stacked with a seasoned ground beef enchilada topped with Tex-Mex sauce, a chicken enchilada with tomatillo sauce, a cheese enchilada with ranchero sauce, a crispy beef taco, homemade tostada chips dipped in queso, served with Mexican rice + refried beans. I know that sounds like a lot.. and it is... which is why I love it. Another notable mention would be the steak burrito which is labeled as "Big as Yo' Face" for a reason. Its a monster sized burrito meant to be eaten with a fork that comes with a flour tortilla stuffed with delicious grilled steak and jack cheese, topped with hatch green chile sauce, served with Mexican rice + refried beans. The chips and salsa never stop coming, the Jalepeno ranch is so good it should be labeled a national treasure, and the service is always great.
I went there on a Sunday around noon. There were seats available when I got there, but by the time I left it was packed. The food was good, but a bit pricey for what I got. The waitress Madison was excellent and very attentive even though she had a table of 12 with 8 young children she was tending to as well. For a grilled chicken salad, double meat and a soda it was $20.20. The chicken was a bit dry on the thin parts, but overall was tasty and juicy. I would go again for sure, but with the cost, it won't be regular visits.
I recently ate dinner at Chuy's in Waverly. The chips and salsa came quickly to our table and are very good. I started off with their house margarita. It was not good, so make sure you upgrade to the more expensive margaritas. I usually order the same thing every time I go to a Mexican restaurant, so I asked our server, Caroline, for a recommendation. She suggested I try the chicken flautas. It is corn tortillas filled with chicken and cheese, rolled, fried, and topped with Chipotle sauce. I really enjoyed it. The food and service at Chuy's exceed my expectations.
The food was pretty consistent, as usual. The margarita was not great, contrary to prior experiences. The menus were filthy. We were seated after around 10-15 minutes after we were told only a 5 minute wait.
Update #2 - Just went with my partner. Get the Elvis Fried Chicken. It is the best! I really like Chuy's. I like the atmosphere and the tex Mexican food is good and plentiful. I had the Nachos appetizer which was excellent and my boyfriend had chicken Tacos. The dessert is the best. A big piece of yummy gooey Tres Leches cake and our server was excellent. I ordered a Margarita with vodka. It did not taste like there was vodka in it and I then ordered a floater and was brought a 1/2 ounce of Titos which did not make any difference. Overall we had a good experience and will come back.
Tex mex food. It’s different than your traditional Mexican restaurant. The food is a very big portion and all the different looking rooms are fun to look in. If you bring a picture of your dog you get a free appetizer. The hostess was very nice. Don’t order the ground beef if you hate onions. They load onions in the ground beef. My wife had to return her food because it was filled with onions that they don’t mention on the menu.
I've passed Chuy's Tex-Mex restaurant a few times, so I met a friend there for lunch. Was greeted by the hostess as soon as we stepped in. The waitress was at our table with chips and salsa and returned with the drink orders. As soon as the food was ready, it was out served hot. I had the fajita chicken soft tacos on flour tortillas served with rice and beans. The shredded lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, and guacamole are on the side. Perfect for the picky eaters, but it's better when it's all on the taco 🌮. The food was good and the service was excellent. Next time, I will go back to try the Tex-Mex enchiladas.

Food was not good. ambiance is fun though. Parking can be a pain in that Waverly plaza.
The food is very fresh and NOT GREASY! The chips are very light without a trace of oil. The salads and soft tacos are delicious.
Good food, service could be better though. Recommend the Steak Burrito.
LOVE LOVE LOVE the jalapeno sauce.... Had the chicken chili and it was delicious. Unfortunately due to the high fat, sodium and calories Chuy's is not a place that I can eat often. But a once in a while treat is always nice!
Was pretty disappointed. This is not good tex mex. Food was nothing special at all. Service on the other hand was fantastic! Just wish the food stood up to it. Pretty fun and eclectic vibe, and good prices. Not sure we'll be back
We visited this Tex-Mex restaurant and was a bit disappointed. The food lacked flavor, and the service was mediocre—we weren’t offered any refills or even asked if we wanted any. Overall, not the best dining experience.
I took my daughter to Chuys to celebrate her 16th birthday because she loves tacos but wanted something different. Even though the parking lot was crowded and difficult, Chuy's atmosphere was perfect for kids. Very colorful and active. Our waiter however acted like we were more of a burden than guests. When I told him it was her birthday, he looked at me and said great. As if to say, What do you want me to do about it? The food was good, but for the price, I definitely expected more quantity. My daughter's tacos tasted good but she couldn't figure out the correct way to eat them due to their unique shape. Overall, we had fun and enjoyed going out and seeing the fancy Lamborghinis next door. We will give it another chance. Next time I hope to get a more personable waiter and I will know what to expect with the food.
Sadly, the food quality is starting to slip at Chuy's. We ordered two things: tortilla soup and the Elvis Memorial Combo Enchiladas. This shouldn't have been hard. The soup came out fine, but everything on my plate had that sheen and hard shell in it from sitting under the heat lamp too long. Don't bother ordering coffee because they don't have coffee cups; it was served in clear plastic cocktail cups.

Wow I've been going to Chuys restaurants for over 30 yrs starting in Texas and this was bad. Half the menu was gone, our waitress was slow. The waiter with other people was rocking, food didn't have the zesty flavors punch like it used to too. Chuys has lost its flar. Parking was bad at this location too. And no more wax sticks for kids to play with.
I ordered out today and I thought everything was going smoothly until I got home an hour away and realized what we discussed on the phone wasn’t all in the bag. Which is partly my fault which is why I still gave 3 stars bc I should of went inside like I normally do and check the whole bag. I was getting take out for myself and two new people to Chuys. I worked for Chuys for 3 years and I have been talking them up for the longest time. So I had asked the take out guy if he would at least put two big bags of chips in my order, and that I would even go as far as paying even though I know they are free. He said that was fine. I ordered two large bags because I ordered 3 meals and one 32 oz salsa and one 32 oz creamy jalapeño. I only received one bag and I felt bad because I feel the split of the chips was not fair on the family I dropped off 1/2 the food at on my way to my house. Also I’m a little upset that Chuys changed their recipe on their chicken tortilla soup. They seem to no longer be grilling the corn and they added carrots. Luckily I’m only allergic to raw carrots. I really love the way the grilled corn flavor gives the soup. The soup in general was still pleasing though. I just feel I didn’t get to split everything fairly tonight. Next time I will just go in even if it’s cold and busy. I still love Chuys- just check your bag (always). Side note 3rd person opened up their steak burrito and they were given the wrong rice and beans. When ordering the steak burrito it comes with charo beans and green chili rice. I got refried beans and Mexican rice. Giving it 2 stars now. Ordered online - got chicken tortilla soup (bowl) & quesadillas & extra creamy and salsa. Sad note - they forgot the tortillas for the soup - I would like to get food to go whether in person or online and their Togo team be able to follow the steps. As a previous Chuys employee - very upsetting.
D: The music was great. I came here with my mother and my eldest daughter. Service was great the waitress shared her favorite dishes and made a couple of recommendations. Mom and I shared the appetizer plate. Daughter ordered the Chicka Chicka Boom Boom enchiladas. The $5 margaritas were sweet but not enough alcohol for me. The food was consumable. I took the jalapeños off the nachos before my mother could see them. There was very little flavor on the nachos other than cheese. The chicken flautas were crispy but tasteless with very little chicken in them. The queso in the middle was soupy it was as if they added water to it. The fajita chicken quesadillas had a black sauce on the inside that made my mother gag from the spiciness, other than being spicy there was no flavor and very little cheese not enough to call it anything more than a soft taco. The eldest daughters dish was surprisingly good. The enchiladas without the boom boom sauce would have been tasteless but the sauce added plenty of delicious flavor. The rice was a tex-mex blend which together with the beans were something to remember. Due to the price of each dish along with the tasteless food I wouldn't take my family back here. While ultimately it was just about hanging out with the ladies in my life I was a more than a bit dissatisfied with the food. I would suggest adding more flavor to your food as unseasoned chicken breast is usually a bad idea. Keep the servers that know the menu and are personable that part was great. *Also paying $5.50 for sides of sour cream is a bit overpriced. 6 small scoops of sour cream for $5.50. I could have bought a whole container for that. Besides there was no mention of an extra charge. The jalapeños are not mentioned on the menu for the appetizer Plate which I would have ordered on the side had they been.
Ok.. this use to my restaurant. I would drag all my family members to this restaurant even though they wouldn’t want to go. I have to say I am completely disappointed in today’s dinner. What I like about this restaurant was fresh food. Now I am disappointed. I ordered blue corn tortillas, my favorite with my other favorite chicken fazitas. The tortillas came out with ice cold .. guess what they came from - Freezer . Ok my server was very nice and she apologized and took it back. Next thing I see that she literally took the same tortillas and put them on the skillet and warmed them up with bare hands and served them to me. Wow ! I refuse to eat them and got an manger who was nice enough to make a fresh ones and took care of bill .. but , this is not what I excepted My other two dishes - Chicken boom boom enchiladas and kids meal came out just fine. I will think again to go to this restaurant.
If you like frozen food....its your kind of place!! Nothing original or special about this place. Drinks were decent.

5/24/25 - Seated with 3 kids and we were hungry and ready to eat :-). Not once did a waiter/waitress come ask for drinks. We waited patiently and nothing. We were there around lunch time on a Saturday and hardly anyone was there. Super disappointed.
Food was god awful, very bland and kinda cold (I can’t even put into words how terrible the refried beans were). Our server Sofia was fantastic though! Will definitely not be back
When my wife and I sat down, No one waited on us, and waitress just rolled her eyes at my wife. So we got up and left. We have no time for foolishness, but plenty of time to warn someone about poor service....
I went to get my food and the beans and rice was all over the place in my plate orders for the chicken chunga.. when I went to see if they can fix the problem, the girl who brought my order to the car was extremely rude and very disrespectful, she didnt know i was walking back inside behind her at the carry out line and was making very disrespectful comments..becaise i showed her the era that was made.. The manager on duty tonight was very helpful. Apologized..made it clear that he would address her, but I am really amazed at this server with this kind of behavior in this line of work with no customer server skills, but want to serve people..she had a very poor attitude..
I arrived to pick up an online order. Instructions said to call. When I called the woman asked what spot I was in. I backed in so I couldn't see the number on the side. I said I'm in the red ford escape. The woman then in a rude tone and being dismissive said "It's 1, 2, 3, or 4. I said spot 4 and she then hung up and someone came out with me order. This experience was a huge turnoff from ever coming here again.
Extremely disappointed with our experience at Chuy’s. From the moment we arrived, the service was unprofessional and unwelcoming. The hostess left us standing at the front without even seating us or giving any direction. Once we were finally seated, the manager came over and harassed us during our meal—telling our group not to come back unless everyone was eating. It was rude, unnecessary, and completely out of line. We were paying customers, minding our business, and still treated with complete disrespect. I’ve never felt so uncomfortable dining out.
Service was absolutely atrocious, my girlfriend and I as well as some friends went here to eat and talk and were treated like we weren’t welcome, the manger was staring and also made a comment that we didn’t get enough food for our party size, to top it off our waitress made a comment about my tip amount ad well even tho she didn’t give us any refills, and was extremely rude, the host also walked away when we walked in leaving us standing there. Wish I could give 0 stars.
Seriously one of the worst Mexican food. Service was good but food was so bad. Walk across the street to Chipotle and save your money. The steak was so tough and chewy. No pun intended. The portions were either gigantic or miniscule. I promise you. Skip this place and you won't miss much.
Went there one night to do a takeout order and this is what we got. This is what we ended up with. I called and spoke with “managers”. They were extremely rude and told me that this is how they make their food. They said they would look my order up, but for some reason was making excuses about not being able to pull it up and that they would have to call IT. I called back a few days later to check the status, and there was not refund. When I spoke to the real manager, I found out they were regular employees. I’m disgusted because those two employees asked about my card number and who knows what they could’ve done with it. The lady manager that spoke to was very nice and ended up giving me a refund.
I want to start with we love chuy’s, we have had Chuys countless times in Knoxville and Raleigh. Always been a great experience. We have been here three times. And none of the experiences were great but the last one was bad enough I felt the need to leave a review. We were sat down then “forgotten” due to confusion on whose table we were. Manager had to finally come over and take our order. My ice melted in my water already at this point and wife’s water was gone and Chips were empty. I was a little frustrated but they apologized and said two servers got our table mixed up and I moved on. Then, our food came out and I got the Tex Mex. first one tasted like it had nothing in it. So I opened the second enchilada. Enough cheese to easily eat in one scoop and some of the cheese was still not melted. Im sorry but I can wrap some shredded Colby jack in a tortilla at home and it would have been better so I didn’t finish it and decided to go somewhere else after. But Then we waited at least 10 more min for the check after wife boxed up her food. By this time my water hasn’t been refilled one time and was room temp since the little ice it had was melted before putting in our order. Check was finally brought over at full price, paid and left and will probably just have to enjoy Chuys when we travel out of town from now on. This was on a Wednesday and there was maybe 3-4 other tables in the same room so they were not busy at all. The staff was all very nice and polite and that’s the only positive I can think of unfortunately. I don’t like to leave negative reviews but I’m just super disappointed since we crave the chips and jalapeño dip a lot but will have to enjoy it on our Raleigh trips.
Food tastes like it came straight off the Sysco truck. I've lived in Charlotte for 12 years, don't eat out often, but haven't had a bad meal until Chuy's. Kinda surprised they are still in business.
This may be the worst restaurant I’ve ever experienced. Their flour tortillas tasted like an uncooked frozen tortilla you’d get at the grocery store mixed with a communion wafer. The enchilada sauce tasted like canned hormel chili. Everything was served cold, and the $12 grande margarita was completely watered down and maybe 12oz. I wouldn’t feed this food to my dog.
