Our favorite place in town.. great people, great food, great beer, and Bloody Mary's so good, they're gone before you can even take a photo. ;)

We love this place, good food, good beers 🍻 good for all the family. Fenaminal food menu. Top floor outside seating, good for sun shine ✨️ I highly recommend it. Football season is really cool here and any sport you may like. I give it 👍🏼👍🏼up.

So good! Was visiting Huntington Beach so I sent my husband to grab some food to bring back to the hotel room. The food was hot and absolutely delicious! They made sure all the condiments were included and the portions were huge. We will definitely be back!👏👏👏

I've been coming here for years and I've never been let down. I tend to always lean toward the ceviche and chips, BBQ chicken pizza with a Hb blonde for a drink. I've had other dishes which I can't complain about but I'm just a pizza lover. The staff are extremely friendly and easygoing and always provide a great environment. Two thumbs up for this place!

Enjoyed drinking their Red. It was full bodied, good rich color, and finished very clean on the palate. My group was fortunate enough to almost have exclusive use of their back patio (the only exception to this was a single guy that came out to our patio for a quick cigarette) When I first looked inside, I didn't remember that it even existed. As the bar can be quite loud with all the screens and din/cheers of the people. The back patio was a welcome escape from the noise and allowed our group conversation to be unhindered.

Great sides to share or just to splurge on yourself. You can take your time going through the menu thinking about what you want to try, or just get a solid burger and their home brewed beer. Nothing on the menu will disappoint. Layout Is good for bar side seat, or a party of 10. Enjoy.

Great beer, great view, great food. The Thai chicken pizza was great. The beer had the most orange flavor, I have ever had.

In short, the place is great for an afternoon bite and beer but I wish they had a bigger beer selection. The service makes up for it. A bit more details, The server with the curly hair was very nice and on point with her work. Sorry forgot her name. Mozzarella sticks came out piping hot and fiesta bowl was very good. Very filling. The food is good bar food. I also like the location if you’re walking down to the peer after to work off some of that beer ha. They have a good variety of beers but I wish the selection was bigger. Lots of TVs to watch sporting events which makes it easy to watch from any angle. I also like they put on the game audio rather than random music when there are good games going on. Park a couple blocks away and walk. You’re not finding anything close.

Visited early on a Thursday Evening. They had Pizza for the weekly special, but decided to order the BBQ hickory burger and my wife ordered the fish and chips I substituted the salad for fries. The salad had a lot of other veggies and cheese. Burger was huge and tasted great. The fish and chips were also great. Only let down was the number of local drafts available (although 805 on tap is nice). We will be back.

Fantastic service by Abigail and Chyna. Enjoyed the Guinness, green beer and corned beef sandwich 🥪 Get in here before people discover how good the Saint Patrick’s Day festivities are in this bar. You have to be kidding me! The beers is why I came, but the food is why I’m so stoked at this place! The Thai pasta is an absolute home run. They garnish each dish with 2 slices of cheese pizza for some reason…but it works!

Great location and the house brews seem to regularly change. The brewer is definitely not afraid to experiment so the beers are not all hits but definitely worth trying. Did not have any food but the prices looked very reasonable for the location.

Great location. Nice beer selections. Outside patio is a big plus on a beautiful day. Nice selection of beer. Food was typical pub fare. Good but not outstanding. Prices were reasonable. We had a great time. Loss of a star for really slow service on a day that wasn't that busy.

Casual little upstairs spot on main in HB with both indoor and outdoor seating. I typically visit at least once whenever I'm in town for either dinner and/or drinks. Service and wait times can be hit or miss. Sometimes the place is super crowded and loud, other times not. The majority of the food and beer I've tried was good, especially the red ale, sweet potato fries and pulled pork sandwich.

First Visit—it’s definitely hard to find this place as it’s upstairs and the door is kind of hidden between a couple of shops on the street level. So you really can’t tell that it goes to this particular place. After figuring it out and going upstairs, I chose to sit on the patio at a bar height counter facing Main Street. I had a nice view down to the pier and the ocean albeit to the right instead of straight ahead. I had the BBQ Pork Sliders during happy hour on Friday afternoon. I thought they were really good and a great price. Iced Tea has a fruit taste. I’m not sure about the beer, as I don’t really drink beer. And I don’t know what the vibe is like any other time or what it’s like sitting inside, because this was my only experience with this place. I would definitely come back for the sliders again and maybe even to try other food. I’ve posted pictures of their happy hour menu and their daily specials. There are several different options for parking from metered street parking on main to side street parking with meters or you might find a couple of free spots. There’s also a parking garage down the side street that gives you free 90 minutes.

4 stars is pretty accurate. The vibes: good, the beer: good, the food: fine, the patio: nice, the sports: good, the decore: cozy. Not too packed not too tacky not too touristy.

We enjoyed our time here. The staff was welcoming, helpful and beyond helpful. The young gentleman saw we were looking for a table on the patio, took my name down and made sure we got a table. Now to the food. We had a steak salad that was very good. The steak was cooked to our liking, we had a kids cheese pizza that we good and we had calamari. I included the calamari picture because this is where this place needs to work hard on. The bed of chopped, dried, visibly "tired" lettuce held wafer thin, and an incredibly small amount of what may possibly be called calamari in some weird universe. This can greatly be improved and I would love to pay a few $ more.

We came here on Cinco de mayo, the place is busy but not as busy as some other places. It plays good music, and people dance and have good vibes. They offer beers on tap and any drink you want. I had their mule, and they go heavy on Alcohol so it's a win for customers. We ordered meat pizza and their calamari and it is delicious. We had IPA's and margaritas and other beers. This is a nice chill place. Service was a little slow at first, but once the server was able to serve us, it was better. We sat in the patio since it was too loud inside.

This place was just okay. We did have a great view from the rooftop deck. We ordered two beers and the waitress came back with a pitcher. How hard is it to take a drink order for two beers? We would’ve probably ordered more cocktails but had a whole pitcher to finish so that didn’t happen. She didn’t even try to remove the charge for the pitcher based on her mistake, so we had to pay for it. Then we ordered food but she had to come back to ask us what we ordered because she couldn’t remember. Maybe she should write things down. The beer was okay, we come from Colorado where there is a lot of great beer, so we weren’t blown away. The food was just okay. Had the nachos and Thai chicken pizza. I’m pretty sure the pizza came from a California Pizza Kitchen frozen pizza box, it was awful. The nachos were okay. It was overpriced. Guess you are paying for the view.

Food was good, we asked for bbq sauce and they gave us miso instead. Asked for bbq sauce again and refills. Server was nice but didn’t help us out often. We felt pretty ignored. Music was so loud we couldn’t hear each other talking to each other at our own table. View was great and atmosphere was great. Had a better time last time.

Service was good for a Sunday. Pretzel cheese needs work. Tastes really fake and is a weird color. Beer was sub par, but I guess it is a beach town. Maybe try harder???

I give 3 stars for food. I came on a Saturday with 4 friends and they seated us pretty quick! This restaurant and bar has outdoor and indoor seating. You get a good view of Main Street when seated outdoors. I ordered the cowboy bowl which I mainly ordered for it’s steak, just to be disappointed by how much fat and chewy it was. We also got the California Sandwich and pizza to share. The fries that came with the sandwich were also not good… they were hard.. hopefully with this review they focus on kitchen a little more. Additionally, my waitress was great but she had other tables to take care of and we had to keep asking the hostess for help.. it’s a nice spot for a drink tho!

2 stars for beer quality which still lacks compared to other micros in orange county. i was here 12 years ago same quality. its a shame given they have had ample time to evolve in the brewing scene and improve the products. outdoor patio view is ideal for people watching on main. wonderful view and nice interior decor. i didn’t try the food. missed opportunity to be a great micro in a scenic location. not a place for beer lovers.

Honestly, pretty disappointed by the service here. I went here with a few friends, bought one drink and then left my tab open. I forgot to close it before leaving. So I went back the next day to close it out and get my card. I waited 5 minutes before anyone asked what I needed. Then it took another 5 minutes for the manager to come talk to me who then blamed me for losing it. They said call back later when the bartender is here. So I called and waited on hold for 12 minutes. I hung up and called again. All that to say they misplaced my credit card. Wouldn’t recommend coming here unless you’re okay with slow service and paying cash.

Has a great view. Nice inside. Was not busy during lunchtime and food service was extremely slow. Order a flight and everything tasted standard/drinkable. No house beer?! Food was not good at all. Chicken was dry, sandwiches was dry, bowls flavor overtaken by the beans, fries were one of the worst I have eaten, had to ask for condiments. Salad was safe. Overall, just disappointing and would not recommend to my friends or family.

I went there last night and had a pretty bad experience with one of the male managers. Don’t think I’ll be going back.

A small gastropub that's easy to miss that boasts a killer balcony, good brews and tasty food. This was what my review would have said 7 years ago when I first came to this place. The food was never out of this world, but it was good. They used to have several beers they brew themselves on tap and the atmosphere was electric being that close to the beach. That place has died. Now with only about 5 in-house beers on tap and no IPA, one of the most popular beers in the craft beer world right now, you can tell immediately the passion for beer has come and gone. I was directed to a large TV on the wall to figure out what in-house brew I wanted and was dissapointed to find they only had like 5. Years before, I remember having to choose from around 15-20 choices. After I chose my brew, we had to ask that our table, which seemed to be permanently sticky, be wiped down once more. The menu has seemed to get bigger, but not better. We started with some spinach dip that had an off flavor and was served with chips that were flavorless and hard. My daughter had their pizza, which ended up being the highlight of our meal, my son had their grilled cheese kids meal, which was served on a huge piece of sourdough bread, something that one-year-olds don't care for. My wife ordered the pub style fish and chips which actually wasn't bad, but the breading wasn't cooked all the way and tasted eerily familiar to corndog breading. Although, the fries that accompanied it were very good. I ordered the shrimp pasta with vodka sauce. My pasta sauce had a strange seafood flavor that didn't come from the shrimp, which was juicy and delicious but underseasoned, and as a whole the dish was dissapointing and tasted anything but fresh. Strange flavors and bad smells had us questioning the freshness of most of the food. Overall nobody finished anything and we left unsatisfied. My wife and I both had stomach aches later that evening and into the next day, so the food safety practices concerned us even though I won't try to draw any correlating lines. All in all, this place has really slid. Food was bad, drinks were dssappointing and seemed to take a backseat which is weird considering it's a brew house. Atmosphere was ok and staff was nice and helpful. This place is in serious need of a makeover and not cosmetically. It has the potential to be a charming brew spot with good food and views, but the lack of execution on anything we saw will only lead us to believe that this place will close down eventually. This place helped me fall in love with California and eventually move my family across the country to live here. Each time I've came back here, we visit once every couple of years, it gets a little worse, but this time it really took a big step. I'm begging you, as a fan of this place, hire a chef that knows what he is doing and get him in the kitchen and start over from scratch. Reinvest in the beer and let it do the talking. This place has the potential to be a really great place to eat, drink or catch a game. I hope the owner smartens up and stops expecting customers to pay for mediocre food and drink. It would be a shame to watch them close this place, but as of now with the product they are putting out, it's only a matter of time.

This place was a hot mess on my visit Thursday evening. A group that was over severed from happy hour kept being served despite being disruptive and vaping inside. The bartender mainly stood around whenever he wasn't slowly pouring a drink. A guy proudly bragged to the drunk group he just bought his dog a service dog vest to bring him more places. My waitress was pleasant but she was obviously a bit checked out given the vibe. This is a dive, not was I was imagining as a brewery. Fine if you know what it is.

There were 9 people in our party and we were sat down immediately, so that should tell you how busy they weren't. Chandler was our waiter. He was not attentive at all. We waited a while for our menus, and drink and food orders to be taken. I flagged him down for a refill (because he never stopped at our table) and even then he only brought mine. He didn't bother to ask anyone else at the table, even though everyone at the table was due. Our food took over an hour to come to the table, and not everyone got their meal, a salad was missing, no ranch for the fries, and no silverware or napkins. We had to ask our server twice for all that, and the food runner twice before we finally got everything. The pasta was undercooked and very bland in both dishes we ordered, and the meatballs had way too much salt. Also, we sat with the sun in our faces the entire 2 hours we were there because their windows don't have shades on them. Incredibly bad experience all the way around, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, no matter how convenient it is to the beach.

There is absolutely no way anyone leaves more than a 2 star review for this place. The good reviews must be friends of the employees; there is no other explanation. I don’t even think John Taffer, from Bar Rescue, would try to save this place! Let me preface by saying the place was not all that busy. I’d say 1/2 full at best. After we sat, un-acknowledged by the 4-5 servers who walked past our table during the 15 minutes we sat there; we figured we might get service sitting at the bar, so we moved. The bar seating was 1/2 occupied. The bartender (Abigail on the check) is the most unpleasant and unhelpful person I’ve ever dealt with. Maybe she’s just lazy, or maybe she’s just…… you know what she’s just a lazy and unfriendly person who doesn’t seem to care. She would likely be a better fit working in a back office somewhere, instead of a customer-facing position. This place claims to be a brewery, and even has all the equipment setup behind the bar….. the beers on tap were Kona Brewing, Pacifico, Beachwood Brewing, and Pizza Port. That is literally the only beers they were selling. They can’t even get their own beer on tap! The entire experience was nothing more turns a farce.

Food is absolutely disgusting. We found hair in our salad, also the salad was just low quality lettuce chopped with prepackaged salad dressing. Yuck! The only redeeming quality of this place is the half outdoor seating, so you can get some ocean breeze and a nice 2nd story view of the beach. Only come for the view, but definitely do not recommend the food.

Place is in dire need of an ownership change. They used to have a great wedge salad and wings. But like all great restaurants, they took their best item off the menu. The last two times I have went here it’s been amazing how poor the food and the service have been. The first time the bartender kept Pre-authorizing my debit card as my date and me were having a couple. She put a hold on $200 on my debit card, in $50 increments. Our final bill was $79. The second time the I ordered Casamigos. The waitress brought me casadores with some lemon juice squeezed In it. I had a burger without the bun or the fries, but they charged me $3 to sub a salad. I hope my tax dollars didn’t go to bail out this failing restaurant.

The worst fish tacos we have ever tasted, their rotten fish aroma arrived before the tacos did... The bartender said sorry you didn't like it and have a nice day!
