Great barbecue pizza and beautiful crust! Make sure you order a large salad with all the fixings included!
This place is amazing. It’s a local gem that everyone goes to out here. Great pizza, but the pastas are the real draw. Great job!!! Great service too.
I just started coming here on my lunch break, and I'm loving the specials. The lentil soup was the best I've had in a long time.. staff are friendly and patient if you don't know what to get.. bringing my daughter for lunch 😋
Delicious!! Friendly staff! Thank you!
Wow, so someone doesn’t like the fact that the owner has made a decision to limit indoor dining hours in order to protect his staff and customers. Oh the absolute atrocity. After seeing that negative review it made my decision to order dinner. Their drive up and pick up system is super easy. The staff are friendly. Food is very reasonably priced compared to other Italian spots. Thank you
Best hole in the wall Italian restaurant around Huntington! Me and my family of 6 ate for only $38 and the food was great! I had a salad, lasagna, and two slices of pizza and all of the food was cooked with perfection. You can also order your food online and take it to your home but by doing that you lose the hole in the wall feel the restaurant has. 10/10 Perfect service again.
The food here is fantastic and so is the customer service. The portions are generous and is phenomenally better quality than any pizza chain you’ll find. I recommend this place to almost everyone we know who doesn’t already know about it.
Authentic Italian food and pizza - great tasting, large portions, reasonable prices. Friendly fast service. Take-out well wrapped so it's still warm and ready to eat when you get home.
A hidden gem of a restaurant tucked in discreetly between 7-11 and a bike shop. Prices are very reasonable compared to the quality of the dishes. Just love the lasagna and stuffed pasta selections. A great local hidden secret.
Service is exceptional. The server Madyson was the best. She was very friendly, professional, she knew the menu she could explain ingredients in the food.
My favorite local pizza mom&pop inside my coastal zip code. Their lunch specials are a good deal, it's real food and beating any fast food or drive thru on price. Expect legit traditional sauce and taste as it's not a trendy bistro. I can always count on a fresh cold salad and hot pasta or hot sandwich. It's a very small place that is clean and not fancy, it's perfect. They make a gigantic pizza that can feed a beach party so just call it in and pick it up on the way. The staff is Beach-City-Chill, so if you want something just ask. A classic and quintessential pizza joint in every way. And it should never change.
Pizza D’Oro is my go to for Pizza. Ordering online is always super easy and I’ve never had any delays when picking up at the provided time. It’s also worth checking out their daily specials, couple specials, and family specials. Their pizza is amazing but their salads, garlic bread and spaghetti are fantastic too.
Recently tried again after a bit of time away because quality went down, and wow, it was great. We will definitely be back and glad to have back in our favorites! Everything was so good.
Here right now and it is so good. Pasta with marinara, sunstone sandwich, and cheese bread were all great. Great prices and friendly service.
Got a catering order for a party. Food was amazing pasta and chicken parm was a hit!
Never tried the HB location but would definitely be back. They have fries at this location. The two young ladies working the front were very friendly. Highly recommend for pizza, spaghetti, calzones and salads. Service with a smile always goes a long way.
Service was great! This tiny place is my new go to for pizza. The single slice is as big as 2 large slices. Good quality cheese and dough.
The lunch special is such a good deal!! I got the D’Oro Calzone off the regular menu and it was AMAZING! Just look at the cross section. It was my lunch on Thursday & Friday. Thank You D’Oro Team and Happy New Year!
Wow o wow I was blessed to have won a free pizza from this place via Instagram contest. I am so glad that I did as I did not know about this family owned spot. Been back ordered three times since winning the pizza.. There pasta’s are out of this world and the Ranch is Drinkable to say the least. My whole family was and is a fan permanently!!

Pizza D'Oro is always great! Been coming here for like 20 years never a bad experience and great prices and staff!
Small place that fits about 10 guests, but looks comfortable. Foods need to add a bit more salts to make it flavorful. We've ordered pizzas, wings and salad, but there is no taste of salt. The service is excellent.
The BEST Eggplant Parmigiana I have ever tasted. Not to boast but I have tried it from LA to little Italy, Vegas to Chicago, Penn state to Florida, and Pizza D'Oro has the best hands down. It is a very easy dish to get wrong. The Eggplant can be over/undercooked. The breading can be too soggy or burnt. It can actually dry out before you finish. They nail it correctly everytime! Take my word for it you absolutely have to try the Eggplant Parmigiana here!
Great food, service and atmosphere. Music really rocks!
I have always enjoyed coming here for pizza, spaghetti, lasagna, the works. My family has enjoyed coming here for about 10 years now. Unfortunately, I noticed gluten issues with myself a few months ago and couldn’t eat here anymore. Recently, they added gluten free pizza and pasta to their menu! There was a slight confusion about the noodles, but they were able to confirm that they had used a gluten free noodle and ensured kitchen safety for my pasta. I can’t wait to come back and try the pizza soon, but I can’t thank the owner enough for ensuring that my food was safe and that I could thankfully eat here again with my family!
Absolutely amazing food! Our waitress was really sweet and the food was just as good as it always is! Customer service was great! My child was bleeding a bit and our waitress got her a band aid! This is my new go-to calzone restaurant.
We love pizza D! They’ve catered several of our parties and the service and food is absolutely excellent. They’re willing to work with all of our special needs. Thank you pizza D!
From out of state and driving by on our way to where we're staying...thought we'd give it a try, not disappointed. Garlic parmesan fries, AMAZING! Pizza was great. Server, so friendly and pleasant. Thank you thank you!!! 😊
Yummy! Great value and so consistent. It’s my favorite pizza! My family loves everything❤️
Excellent classic Italian food and great and friendly service. Lunch specials are a great steal. Worth you visit for sure.

Great service, really lovely. The scent of garlicky goodness when you step inside is enticing. The pizza was delicious, the crust perfectly thin and just crisp enough. Don't bother with the wings, they were crusted with a flavorless uneven coating. The ranch dressing is worth it though, fresh and house made. We will be back
Pizza D'Oro offers delicious, authentic Italian pizzas with a perfectly crispy crust and fresh toppings. The cozy atmosphere and friendly service make it a great spot for a casual meal with friends or family.
Best pizza around. Their crust is so chewy. If my jaw hurts from chewing crust, I judge that very favorably. Prices are a bit over the top and were high even before this runaway inflation started. But we go all the time so obviously it's worth the price. The place is very small and cramped and not a great place to sit and stay, and the service is hit and miss. I doubt that they spend too much effort on service when they aren't really set up for it. Great place, though. I'm not trying to bash. I'm just calling it like i see it.
We love this local business. Thick crust and extra sauce is what we order. We only do carry out. It is now our go to place for Friday night pizza for a few years running. Staff is helpful and if there is mistake they make it right. They are friendly and not a chain.
If you need a quick Italian fix this place is great. Tasty food and service with a smile. A true bang for your buck. Try the daily lunch specials. You can't go wrong
We ordered a medium 1/2 pepperoni 1/2 cheese pizza, one small sweet pork pizza, 1/2 loaf of garlic bread, and 4 small cannolis. The pizzas were delicious, the garlic bread were nice big slices but the garlic seemed to be missing. The place is clean and very small with limited seating. The service was friendly and the order was correct.

In my opinion the best pizza or at least the best deal for pizza in its surrounding area. They extended their hours to 830 on Google but it seems like they refuse to take orders 30 to 45 minutes before closing, they turn off their phone and cancel online orders. I guess I'll just drive the extra distance to Lavi's because Whatta Lotta just doesn't cut it.
Me and my girlfriend drove here from San Clemente to stop by for some lunch and both ordered the big slices of pizza with garlic fries, and the pizza was great and the girls working there were nice but OH, MY GOD! The garlic fries were garlicy as hell I could barely breath! I don't know who thought it was a good idea to put that much garlic on the french fries but Christ I could barely keep my face in the same direction as the plate the fries were on. Yeah we won't be ordering those next time that was waayyy too much. Again, it's a neat little restaurant with nice workers but, next time we'll just stick to the pizza
We are moving with a U-Haul packing up starving. We order a lot of food. We have done dine in for years. First time delivery. No utensils for lasagna or salad, no plates, no cheese or napkins. Disappointed given the amount of money we spent for dinner. Interesting on how we are going to eat dinner with multiple people. I get economy is bad, but do better. Assume the person ordering delivery doesn’t have anything at their location. Lesson learned!
This place used to be awesome and they had weekly meal deals that were great for a family on a budget! All you can eat spaghetti was killer and now it's the same price but you only get one portion and they totally screw you on the garlic bread! I ordered three times where the description said that there would be two pieces of garlic bread and I know it's kind of a petty thing, but I only got one each time. If the meal is different than you need to change the description online and on your menu... I hope they go back to the old model where the servers were lovely and it felt like a good wholesome family place to eat!
Fantastic staff. Inviting storefront. Average pie. I tried the D'Oro Special, their version of the supreme. Much better this morning -- cold -- than last night. Too doughy to rank as elite. Though I won't purposefully return, it's certainly adequate fare.
So I reviewed this place 2 years ago and gave it a rave review. We recently ordered a vegetarian pizza and I have to say that it just wasn’t good. They really need to get more creative with the vegetables. Like add some artichokes or something. Create a Mediterranean pizza with artichoke, onion, olive and feta or something like that. This pizza had no flavor and was soggy. I know that they can do better. Staff is still awesome.

Not sure why this place is so highly rated, unless the pizza situation in Huntington Beach is that bad. It’s a mediocre pizza, at best. First, nothing screams “bad pizza” like the overwhelming stench of garlic powder when picking the pizza up. Their online ordering process is bizarre; it’s not clear if I had to add the sauce option (lest I end up with a white pizza), but I did so, and I think I ended up with extra sauce, which only made the pizza worse because their sauce was by far the worst ingredient. Also, this is one of those places that inexplicably cuts the pie into 12 slices, not eight, so the slices were like two inches wide. The crust was the only redeeming quality; I took the leftovers and wiped the sauce and cheese off and used the remants for dipping into hummus. Too bad the rest of the pie couldn’t have been as good. On a scale of 1 to 10, I’d score them a solid 5; painfully average. If they fixed their absurd online ordering system, stopped cutting their pies into obnoxiously small slices, and cut back on adding so much garlic, they might’ve had something. Otherwise, seek alternatives.
The staff is is a hot and miss... The food is great... Just confusing how businesses want us to come back when the staff are always up in the airbrush you get and have a conversation... We didn't apply to work here.. you did so why make it hard on us when it's your job.. I will continue to eat here hen I can.. till next time

I bought a takeout order home to find they had loaded the pasta dishes sideways(on end) in the plastic bag, poked holes in the plastic bag and drained pasta sauce all over the leather and cloth in the passenger seat when it was set down. I called to speak to the owner or manager and nobody responsible on duty to talk to. The food is good, unfortunately I will smell this everytime I get into my new car for how long will remain to be seen. Thankfully the seat is black and the rally stitching is already red. It was at 6pm on wednesday the 3rd when picked up. This is not the first time loaded like this but it is the first for holes in the plastic bag to allow it to drain out on the seat. FROWN FACE EMOGI!! The owner has just contacted me and intends on making things whole and address the source of the quality issue. Its a good buissiness at heart and the food is good... just check the bag before setting it in the seat.
First time visiting and the last time visiting. First our order was wrong and had to go back. The pasta was mushy and overcooked. The flavor tasted like yesterday's leftovers. The pizza was fine but way over priced for the quality. Little Caesars has better texture and flavor at 1/3 the price. If you want a good pie go to Joey's and if you want good pasta go to a real Italian restaurant. This place sits next to 7-11 for a reason.
In the past 5 years there has been a serious decline in quality of ingredients, preparation of food and overall cleanliness of the restaurant. I live within walking distance and have been coming here for 20 years. It’s rare nowadays even to get a descent pizza, maybe 2/10 times. This place use to have the best pizza within a 10 miles radius, no longer, it’s a darn shame to witness and taste the decline of a once awesome neighborhood Italian restaurant. IMHO the illegal aliens hired to cook the food have zero respect for their bosses, customers and have destroyed the place.
What happened to this spot? Our family enjoyed Pizza D for years however upon returning the CM location was a huge disappointment. Customer service definitely way down, kids food came out boiling hot, adult food was room temperature. Meatballs and Sausage tasted weird, Kid Ravioli had barely any cheese inside.. All of it just tasted mid, sauce included. "Garlic Bread" was hard, burnt on one side and dry. Ordered a side of Alfredo got a barely filled cup and it didn't look the way it used to.. Sent it back, they snickered, we won't be coming back to this one. Really hope the other locations are better but probably won't gamble on it. Sad to experience Pizza D like this.
The food is OK the lady who I believe is the owner is really a very strange person and pretty rude. I order the same thing g for weeks at a time here, today she brings me the wrong thing and copped an attitude about being corrected, calling me wrong in front of all the customers. A very stupid move. I'd say your gonna get the same or better anywhere else stay away.
