Update: 71 days after the incident, my son was finally refunded the money. This is after posting this review & then spent a week emailing, texting, phone calls, and filing with the BBB. I really hope this doesn’t happen to anyone else. Scam! Do not share credit card information! When they respond to other reviews about cash app refunds, that too is a LIE! On May 19 2022, my son and his fiancé were moving out their apartment in the Southside, area Jacksonville, Florida. As most experience during moving, they were overwhelmed with the many tasks, so I suggested that they find a cleaning service to do the final cleaning for inspection. My son found Insider Disinfecting and they agreed to the service, but needed a credit (or debit) card to secure the service. My son provided his debit card and the $321 for detailed cleaning (2 bedroom, third floor apartment) was deducted from his bank account. The issue: they never showed. When contacted, the individual assured my son that the money would be returned to his account, however it never was. For two months now, my son and his pregnant fiancé have been trying to get a return on the $321. When the company refused, my son filed with with his bank for a fraudulent debit charge stating this company charged him without providing service. The bank reached out to Insider Disinfecting and the company had the audacity to send photos to prove a service was rendered - however they sent photos of a house, fully furnished - not the empty apartment that they were asked to clean. My son then called the company back to inquire about these fake pictures and he recorded the call - the employee said he would return the $321 via cash-app (of course, another lie). We have no idea what caliber of cleaning this company is capable of because the service was never provided. However, be warned about attempting to do business with them. Insider Disinfecting has stolen $321 from a young, expectant couple and then went so far as to share false photos with the bank when they were confronted with the fraudulent charge. If you are considering using them, be wary. For the business - don’t respond to this review with lies like - you sent a cash app refund - or no record of their name (Greer). Refund the money and stop stealing from people! How can you sleep at night when you are stealing from a young couple expecting their first child?!?

Scheduled initial cleaning over the phone. Was told I needed to pay for a deposit via an email invoice. Which I did immediately. When the day of service arrived I was told there was an issue with the machine they were going to use to clean my carpet. Which I understood and rescheduled for the following day since I moved all the furniture off the area they were to clean. Next day came and went without any communication. When I followed up with the company requesting my deposit back since zero services have been provided and it was a week later without any communication. This was met with accusations that it was my mishap and they attempted to call me multiple times which based on my call logs is inaccurate. Similar experience to another 1 star review.

Called to inquire about snow removal services. Normally, I do my own but my plow truck broke down last minute. Their customer service was rude from the first moment, not even letting me ask any questions, rudely and in hurry the guy just said are you looking for seasonal contract that's all we do, I hadn't even got out the full no when he had already hung up.

I asked for cleaning of 2 bathrooms: 1 (2.5 x 3 ft), and 1 (4 × 8 ft bathroom) with linoleum floors mopping. They were reasonably clean, no mildew, grime, garbage litter, dirty linens, ect..... 1 asked for 1 partial cleaning of kitchen: a few plates, saucers, flatware, bowls and a couple of small sauce pans to be washed .... we generally eat from disposable items. And the kitchen) linoleum floor ( sweeped and mopped). The wall behind the 18 inch garage can did need to be Mr. Cleaned. Also an 18 inch can pantry needed Mr. Clean. A woman and son came to do the cleaning. Neither bathroom was touched by her son as he was on his cellphone. Only part of the kitchen received any mopping. I was charged over $350 for less that 3 hours for 1 partial kitchen. When I spoke with the owner he said his sister in law and nephew always did great work. Never again will I hire outright robbery to be a victim of.

This place is an enormous rip off. I ordered a deep cleaning for a 500 ft plus one bedroom and the company charged me $270.00 and change. The cleaner was two and a half hours late due to a blown tire and then was not informed by the company about the nature of the job. Instead of a deep cleaning I received barely a light clean in a couple of rooms, and the"manager" who said his name was "Shane" was very disrespectful and dismissive. Shane doesn't understand the value of a happy customer or the ire of a dissatisfied customer. They are unreliable and way overpriced. Use anybody else, but stay away from Insider Disinfecting DO NOT USE INSIDER DISINFECTING

If I could give negative stars i would. I booked a carpet cleaning for Friday afternoon, they never showed. When i called, the guy told me they’d be out on Saturday, another job had taken longer than expected. They no showed on Saturday, when we called they said they’d would come out Monday. They never showed up Monday. When i called to get my deposit back they argued with me, gave me the run around and flat out lied to me saying they would refund the deposit. This was theee almost four weeks ago, still no refund and no call back. This is a scam company.

They never showed up for the job did I haven’t called to reschedule when I called, you do not answer my calls I text them trying to get my deposit back no response. This company is a scam. They are not trustworthy.

I hired Insider Desinfecting to clean my couch. The payment process was very convenient — I paid easily, and I even received an invoice. Unfortunately, the cleaning itself was very disappointing. They only cleaned the top of the seat cushions and left the underside dirty. I reached out to them and explained the issue. At first, they asked me what I meant, I clarified in detail, and then they just stopped responding. I asked if they were going to come back to fix it, and I’ve had no answer since. for anyone reading this: if this review is still negative, it means they never came back to make things right. To the company: if you want this review removed, the solution is simple — finish the job properly or at the very least respond to your customers.

Scam. Do not send them money. Google should remove this company's listing. They did end up rudely refunding my money after I threatened them. What a waste of time and energy.

If I could give zero stars I would. First, they never showed up day of appointment. When I contacted them they said they “tried to call me”. I never received a call. Turns out, they had the wrong phone number. When they showed up to the rescheduled appointment they called me and accused me of lying about the square footage. Which I did not it was exactly as I said. Then they said your house is “too dirty” (this was a move out clean and I had already cleaned bathrooms and refrigerator… the rest was just dusty and they ARE a cleaning company!) we need you to pay $800 now before we can even begin the work. Mind you they already collected a $100 deposit! I said “no, I already paid a $100 deposit, when the home is clean I will pay the rest”. They replied “no we don’t do it that way” and just left! They are keeping my security deposit. I’m out $100 and home is still dirty!
