Every single time I go through the drive thru something is missing from my order. I haven’t been here in a while for that reason but I thought I’d give it a chance again. Ordered an Avocado chicken salad and other items today at 12:10. I Got home excited to enjoy my salad and of course that didn’t happen. Like always they forgot to put the dressing to the bag with my order. It’s so frustrating when you’re expecting something that you paid for and it’s missing! Every.Single.Time. I’m not sure why this place does this every time I go there. They are so . Never going back. Try having an avocado salad with no dressing yourself and see how you like it.

The food is ok, but the service is sketchy. The outside speaker in the drive through needs to be replaced. My order is messed up 80 percent of the time. Check before you leave.

What kind of chicken quesadilla is this big wrap less ingredients inside of it. I was expecting something great but no its a disappointed. First time trying this but it will be the last

Not greeted or told to use the kiosk to order. Employee stingy with the salsa and out of salsa roja. Had to ask for more salsa even though I entered the amount of salsa wanted in my order.

Terrible they always mess up my food the manager Monica needs to be fired ! She refuses to give me any service after she is the one that messed up my food yelled at me through the window of the drive thru told me she will not fix my food and not to come back but this is not fair this location is made for residents of imperial Beach and there family's but apparently the manager of Monica told me that she owns the place and not to come back so I gave this El Pollo loco location 0 stars because they always mess up my food and manager says she owns the place and not to come back I hope the corporation of Pollo loco then she turns customers away

The restaurant looks great inside — I really like the remodel. It's clean, modern, and inviting. The food was ok, for the price. What really bothered me, though, was the service. I was shocked that the cashier didn’t speak English and couldn’t help me at all. In the United States, that’s unacceptable. Customers shouldn’t have to wait or be redirected just to speak English. It left me frustrated and questioning the hiring practices. Are they that desperate for employees? This is a great place in terms of food and atmosphere, but they seriously need to address the language barrier. Hire English or bilingusl for what ypu pay them. English-speaking service should be standard.

Placed an order for a Mixed 8 pc meal. When I got home I realized they had given me a leg and thigh meal. Drove back to get the correct order. I requested that the chicken be made well done because the chicken didn’t appear to cooked correctly. I received chicken that wasn’t cooked all the way through, it was pink and bloody. It had been a long time since I had been to this location, I stopped coming here because of this reason. I usually go to the store on Palomar and they never disappoint. Do better, follow through on your customers requests or at least cook the chicken thoroughly for goodness sake it’s CHICKEN not beef!!!

I just moved here from Washington DC. Back there, we have Pollo Campero and Nandos PeriPeri. Coming to California, I thought it would be cool to try this place. We ordered online and got the 12 piece family meal. Then we head to the store after 15 minutes of ordering. I came to pick it up and waited for another 20 minutes! The cashier was friendly and asked me if I wanted salsa when I got my order. I came home and little did I know, we only got 10 pieces of chicken instead of 12, and the drumsticks were so tiny. We didn't want to drive back just for 2 pieces of chicken. Never going back!!! Food was bland and had no spices on it.

Food really dry , I have to wait 25 minutes on the drive-through Just for a 2 pieces meal They are so slow all the time , they don't have a good customer service. You guys need to improve!

They were painfully slow, and closed 2 hours early. They said they are out of everything. They didn't know what I ordered at the speaker so I had to tell them my order again because they lost my order. The person at the window didn't know how to use the order screen. I was in line waiting from 7:55pm and didn't get my food until 8:33pm and there were only 3 cars in front of me when I arrived. After arriving home, found out the chicken skin was burnt and the chicken was overcooked. I ordered two 2-piece meals, but one was a 3-piece meal. They also didn’t give us and utensils or napkins.

I wish I recorded how long I sat at the order window of the drive-thru without being acknowledged! There was ABSOLUTELY NO ONE eating inside and only one car in front of me which they took forever on them as well. I started realizing why they built a Popeye's Chicken right next door. I got fed up waiting on a measley 2-piece combo that I just ended up driving off since nobody noticed I was even there! Went to Rally's instead, was in and out in a matter of minutes! (You see the empty lot in the picture I provided? Yep. Me too! So why act like you're too busy to acknowledge a customer [me] who is probably helping pay your wages!?)

I order on line, when they said my food was ready I got there and my order was not complete I told them to cancel and they didn’t they made me way 20 minutes more! I got home with less chicken that what I pay for and the cole slaw was damage!!! And the chicken pieces were so small
