Food was great as always, the service was really decadent, almost as if they were doing me a favor, really rude. Bathrooms have a lock on this location and that made me question my safety, also there was an armed security guy inside the place and he was friendly, but I couldn't eat in peace.

Excellent quick service, friendly workers, clean restaurant, and the always, dependably delicious Whataburgers with Cheese and fried apple pies. I picked these up to take on a plane to Montana the next day to friends who desperately miss Whataburger.

Had the weirdest experience, guy orders food and just has a public meltdown making a scene to himself, he randomly threw his phone at my direction but I don’t believe it was intended at me. Eyes were mad red so he was definitely on something. To be fair , this Whataburger location is terrible, just the actual location of it. Yet that’s the best part about it, consider this spot the Waffle House of Whataburger. You’ll never know what you’ll see. We walked out after he threw the phone at me , I don’t blame the workers or manager not asking questions about me as the staff were focused on drive thru ( we all know they take 2 hours for that 🤣 ) but when we did leave the manager talked to the guy. Anyways I got the BOB , it was fire as usual

Although a smaller location, my experience was great. The Don took my family's order and was very polite and patient as my kids can be picky with condiments and toppings. Our food came out fresh, very tasty, and as ordered by my picky eaters. The Don brought the food to our table and offered additional condiments. Thanks for the lovely experience from a long time Whataburger lover.

8/11/24: Great food, great place. Employees and Manager were extremely friendly and patient with our large order. Tried the new boneless wings with honey butter dressing and it was delicious (tasted very similar to the honey butter for biscuits at Church's Chicken.) During our stay of 1hr long, a homeless man came in, dug through the restaurant trash can, pulled out an empty soda cup, help himself to a refill and sat down in one of the booths for at least 15-20min before we left. The Manager did not notice or overlooked. Felt weird having to ask for a pin to open the bathroom doors. Would keep eating at Whataburger, just in other locations

I thought the staff was very welcoming and friendly. The inside was extremely clean, and I noticed the staff would immediately clean an area right after when a customer had finished and left ... even though they were not busy enough to need the table right away. They swept the floor and used cleaning products with paper towels for the tables rather than just a wet rag, which I have seen at so many restaurants (not implying Whataburger ... just in general). Even the soda and condiment area was spotless. I considered taking 1 star from the atmosphere because the music was too loud for my taste. It was festive and Christmas time, so it was appropriate, and I'm certain the manager would have adjusted it if I had asked. He did walk the restaurant asking the patrons if everything was okay and if they were enjoying their meals. Kudos to a great crew with smiles and their manager.

I found that online orders are usually backed up because of the amount they get in a shift . But they work as fast as they can to give you fresh and good tastistng food.. The staff is friendly and accommodating

Great service today! It was a busy Sunday evening. You can actually hear all of the staff speaking out and communicating with one another, in order to serve efficiently. All that were working this shift seemed very friendly.

Came in today 9l26/24. The day before my birthday. Let me tell you it was packed. We came in around 6pm. They were slammed. I felt bad for ordering more food. Dinning room was full. Cashier let me know they were slammed and only had 4 employees on shift. I said it's ok. We were in no rush. We say and waited. We saw people leave and upset. We had our food brought to us at our table. Food was fresh. Gentleman apologized for the wait asked it'll there was anything else we needed we politely said no. It was amazing 😍 food was great. Wish I could leave theses guys a big tip! Y'all sure did an amazing job! Keep it up! Wish I could apply at this location and work with these guys! Seemed like a great crew to work with! 1st time ever at a Whataburger and didn't disappoint. Ordered #2 combo meal. Fries reminded me of McDonald's but less salt and ketchup had an unusually taste but in a good way. Burger was juicy, fresh, and filling! Price was ok for the value. Employees were friendly, quick service and atmosphere paid tribute to Whataburger early days. If I had one near New Orleans I'd go!

Being from the West coast, of course In N Out has been a staple but I have not always been sold that it is the top burger place. I finally got to take a trip to TX and test out Whataburger and I will tell you, In N Out got nothing on this. There is nothing on this burger as far as fast food places. The patty melt was delicious!!!!

They were pretty fast to prepare my order. Foot quality was acceptable but not perfect.

The burgers were pretty big but the buns were a little too large. It was a good meal for the price.

1st time eating Whataburger. Wish they were in NY. We were not disappointed. We got the sweet & spicy bacon burger and the jalapeño & cheese burger. Both were great fast food burgers. Definitely one of my new favorite fast food joints.

Food was as good as could be expected from a fast food chain. They had my meal almost ready when I walked in after ordering online just 5 minutes before. So they definitely get some service stars and they were polite. The only thing that was making was there cleanliness it was tables were rather dirty onlya few clean ones. So, if you have a spot you like to, or want to sit at you may have to wipe it down yourself. The trays were piling up on the trash can but the trash wasn't quite full yet. Overall I give this location about 3.9 Stars. Cleaned up it could get 5 Stars for the market they are in.

Food was decent. A bit cold in the middle. Prickly pear raspberry drink was good. Service was great. Can't control other patrons but it was a bit disturbing to hear the gentleman next to us talking about being the Arch Angel and how he was going to kill everyone. A few different homeless came in while there. The others didn't bother anyone, so not a problem.

I went to the drive thru for the biscuit sandwich deal with my coworker before a SIA testing on a building. First after saying have my phone app ready they did not scan my code. They gave me bacon instead of sausage biscuits and found out later that they gave me unsweetened tea... shoving the whole bag of it into my cup. Normally I would have brushed off the mistakes due to early morning, but the bag in my drink is unacceptable to say the least. Update: Got contacted by the manager and received a free meal and was very nice about everything. Whataburger is the same anywhere but its the workers you deal with that make a place good or bad. Giving 3 stars since I still enjoy the food and it's a first offense for me.

Whattaburger is a solid place to grab a bite to eat, the burgers are big and pretty good in flavor for a fast food place. The fries are also very solid and crispy with just the right amount of salt. However with all the hype around restaurants such as this and in and out, it leaves customers a little disappointed, because it gives them an idea that the restaurant is something super special, when in reality it is an above average fast food chain, falling somewhere above a Wendy's but not as good as a five guys.

The value is the best thing about Whataburger. Great price mediocre foodbut its worth a try. I think I would choose this over in and out personally.

One cheeseburger and fries cost me nearly $10, and it was all poor-quality ingredients—reminiscent of Jack in the Box. If you’re comparing Whataburger to In-N-Out, you’re doing yourself a disservice. It doesn’t come close. P. Terry’s is a much better alternative in Texas—fresher, faster, and far superior. The service here wasn’t speedy either, though the staff was friendly and brought the food out with a smile. Still, I wouldn’t recommend Whataburger and won’t be returning. Plenty of better options out there.

I tried Whataburger for the first time and was hoping for a satisfying burger. While the burger itself was large, I found the patty to be on the small side and overpowered by mustard. The fries were enjoyable, but I was disappointed by the lack of no-sugar tea options. I ordered in-store and faced a considerable wait. I’d recommend ordering online in advance to save time and potentially earn points.

This location is located just across the River from Downtown. Many competing Burger joints on the same block. Food was good not great. A little over cooked and over priced. But for late night eating/munchies it's perfect. Just be prepared to pay the price with you're wallet, and stomach... especially the next day. Recommended for late night eating if no other options.

Coming from seattle, whataburger is not it. One of the worst burgers I’ve had, so dry, felt like a robot made it. Wouldn’t recommend the whataburger but if I did come back I’d try their chicken.

The food was cold! Fries were OLD! The guy at the drive-through (No comment) worst whataburger experience!

Tried to get a kids meal at a decent hour, but nothing for the kids were available, if you’re going to put it on the menu, please have it available. Much appreciated. Or at least order an alternative.

I only come here when I can't get into Sandys. Same great food just don't expect much. Its on a busy street. You will be asked if you can spot some change. Unhoused folks might come in to refill their drinks. They paid for the cup; don't hate too bad. Staff is paid by the hour and they act like it not much sense of urgency. Might have to wait a bit, but your food will be hot. At least in my experience. Not my fav and also no deal breakers here.

What's the big deal about Whataburger? Location: 601 Bartin Springs, Austin Tx We ordered a chicken sandwich and a Dbl meat Whataburger for lunch. The grilled chicken tasted like pressed chicken. The sauce has a little spicy kick to it. The Whataburger was ok just not remarkable. Not sure what the big deal is about Whataburger. Typical for a fast food place, the tables where dirty and I had to ask 2X for service.

Wow. What a disappointment. The staff seemed okay, and the location is walkable from my nearby hotel. But the fries tasted like stale frozen potatoes, and the burger was big, but tasteless. If you must try it, so be it. But if you have a choice, go to Burger King for a fast food burger.

Probably the worst service I’ve gotten at a whataburger so far. Was given my food in a bag instead of brought to table, the burger was drier than the Austin heat and the cheese cold and unmelted. fries have been sitting in the warmer for a while. When I asked for a refund they didn’t even apologize or ask to replace. Paid in card yet was refunded in cash? Loved whataburger and this location disappointed.

"It's fast food--whaddaya want?" That's how my friend hand-waved the horrifically slow service at this Whataburger, something he's become used to as a native Texan. The S 1st Whataburger is a place of opposites. If the food is made fresh, it's because Whataburger cheaped out on ingredients and staff to make that happen. I regularly wait over 10 minutes in the drive thru--not the overflow waiting spot--for small, simple orders like a burger and a shake. I don't think this restaurant knows it has a waiting spot for the overly long orders that regularly block the queue. The poor staff members who take orders outside are the nicest people; meanwhile, the staff who hand me my food don't speak to me, can't tell me my total, and don't know what I ordered. People are seriously overworked here. The turnover must be catastrophic. Admittedly, many fast food joints are like this; but it must be extra bad here. The prices are higher than P. Terry's for an experience that is worse in almost every way. Breakfast service is a different story. Fast and delicious. If only lunch and dinner ran the same way.

99.9% of Whataburgers are perfect, clean, friendly. But store # 892 at 4640 Palm Valley Blvd. Round Rock Tx is Gross..It is Where I was made to feel belittled, unappreciative and scared because the manager didn't wash his hands after fishing something out of the dumpster. I took my daughter and 3 of her friends to the fair at Dell diamond and afterwards we stopped at Whataburger, I gave the young people (17 year olds) their space to talk and I walked around the Walmart parking lot... I saw the manager start diging in the dumpster for ? ? I guess he found the paperwork or whatever but I watched as he went inside and started helping employees before going into the?office?? I asked him about fifo and cross contamination. . He said ...you need to leave my property. . He then took pictures, ,pics of me ..then pics of the kids and us getting into my Child's new car but she is still learning and doesn't have her DL yet so me being 60 years old with insurance on her car and driving experience to make sure all kids got home safely. .well that manager called the police saying I kidnapped them 3 kids... just because I saw how gross that person was... I am a retired Chef of 30 years , retired tow truck driver and Retired First Responder. His actions are inexcusable ,and unacceptable. But the other employees are hard workers and they seem to do a marvelous job. I've never given such a bad review , but you all Need to know that manager is spitful , vandictive and dangerous ! fifo = first in first out. To keep food/ products fresh and customers safe ! That manager Needs a food handlers card before someone gets sick.

Could not order when I arrived the person at the register could not help as supposedly the only person was the person outside. Talk between employees was unprofessional. Food was not up to normal Whataburger standards. I normally enjoy Whataburger this was not the best visit. Also dined in and food came to me as I ordered it to go. Also fries were not hot.

This visit was profoundly disappointing. The burger arrived cold and overly salted, with a soggy bun that offered little structure or flavor. The fries were the most telling failure. Shriveled, cold, stale, and entirely devoid of freshness. In a city filled with thoughtful, well executed boutique burger trucks and independent kitchens, there is little reason to waste time on corporate clones that have lost any meaningful definition of quality. Until this location rediscovers even the basics, it is difficult to justify returning.

Theres a line around the corner and these 2 have just been standing there talking. They could be helping their crew and assisting the rush time but instead they are standing around and we have been waiting in line for nearly 40 minutes. RIDICULOUS!

This just happen last night at 11:50:32 i order the avocado bacon burger, i didn't check what i got because i was just wanted get home and eat but when i got home i end up getting something else i couldn't go back because i live all the way to Bastrop I'm even calling them but no one answering.

This whataburger serves unappetizing food. My good friend Mia ordered my order through her whataburger app. Salad was old and poorly presented. Received salad upside down in the bag. I also ordered an apple pie that I didn’t receive. I tried calling and the phone rang for a minute and a half until the call was disconnected.

Walked in to eat at this restaurant and all just about all the tables are dirty.. I don’t look like they busy.

With only two cars in front of me in the drive thru, it was a 30 + min wait - yes over 30 mins; note- I was blocked in from front and rear as soon as I placed my order. When I got to the drive through window- I asked if the food was even still “warm”. “B” (name left off) felt the bag and said “no.” At least he did look sad for me. I left without the food. “B” said they could remake it; but - that would have delayed others - I wanted to be courteous and declined. Note: The staff could have thought about my food getting cold and likely others behind me- during that long wait and remade it (several times if needed) before I got to the window. #lostmybusiness 😓 I could have driven to the store, purchased food, driven home, and made my own burger. Absolutely unacceptable. If a single car takes 30 mins- have them move out of the way and continue to serve. 30 minutes of my life is wasted. May never return to Whataburger. Shame.

Our food took almost an hour to come out. The staff was rude, and did not give us our complete order. Also paid for cheese and didn’t get any, and paid for a large tea that we did not receive. I was very disappointed with the service, and everyone there seemed overwhelmed, so it may be a short staff issue of people overworked and underpaid. My recent visit to Whataburger was highly disappointing. ⭐ The first thing that struck me was the unpleasant odor in the place, which immediately set a negative tone for the experience. The wait time for my food was extremely long, clocking in at over 30 minutes from the time of order, which is unacceptable for fast food. To make matters worse, when the food finally arrived, it was of the lowest quality I've ever encountered at a fast food restaurant. Overall, it was a frustrating and unsatisfactory visit. I would not recommend this location.

The manager while we were there on 09/25/22 at 10:30pm was EXTREMELY RUDE. Hardly any sauce on the sandwich and the manager has an attitude when you ask for ketchup… like girl it is ketchup. They taking that out of your paycheck or something? No need to be so dang rude!

45 minutes for an order is crazy. I expect a longer wait time at Whataburger typically, but it's still fast food. I could go to a sit down restaurant for better quality food and probably get it faster. Gimme a refund or a discount for my wait or learn to hire better. You know that you get deliveries. If it’s 4am and you’re hungry, don’t make the same mistake I did by going here. This location is know to be slow, so I thought that ordering pickup 30 minutes ahead would help speed things along, but unfortunately it wasn’t as simple. The person at the counter told me they were still preparing my order and proceeded to completely ignored me and the other people trying to order or waiting for their order to come out. Instead he was pacing back and forth and rambling incomprehensibly. He certainly was not making food, taking orders or managing the amount of to go bags accumulating on the pick up table. I chatted with someone else waiting, and they mentioned that they were already waiting for 30 minutes for their cheeseburger. Eventually he went to the counter and asked, and the employee laughed and said they didn’t have his order. Eventually the manager came and helped, turns out my order was out there in the pick up section the whole time. The food was cold and half the order was missing. Ended up barely eating anything, the deplorable hygiene practices in the kitchen made me lose my appetite. Terrible experience, will not go back.

I recently visited this Whataburger location, barton springs and my experience was disappointing. I ended up waiting almost 2 hours for my order drive through , which is completely unacceptable. It was evident that the store was deliberately slowing down the process, especially during the late hours. There seemed to be no sense of urgency or concern for the customers waiting, as the staff moved at a frustratingly slow pace. I understand that things can get busy, but this was beyond reasonable. I hope management addresses this issue, as it leaves a bad impression on loyal customers.

The management at this location is disgraceful. I understand that there is a seemingly overabundant amount of people who they might call "homeless" loitering sometimes... but the response to the fact that it's literally by a bus stop and the middle of a lot of action, makes it a reasonable amount of pedestrians. What really confirmed that the "homeless" or "loiterers" are not the real issue at all ? In reality? I bought a shake there the other night....( was only 3/4 fulll, but I decided to pick my battles) I had a friend with me and we were both on bikes, we didn't bring locks, so we sat outside and shared the shake... afterwards, I had ordered some food for us off the app, so we finished the shake and continued to wait for our food. Imagine my confusion when the young night manager comes outside and tells me "I'll give yall ten more minutes but yall gotta go, csnt just be out here In front of the store."" I stared at him blanky... and then told him we were literally waiting on THEM to finish our order. He didn't acknowledge his poor behavior or attitude towards us .. simply walked away. I feel like if I order almost 20 dollars of FAST FOOD, I SHOULD BE ALLOWED TO sit at that establishment for at least 20 minutes. At least.....

They don’t sell / serve WATER. It’s a RESTAURANT without WATER. Us and some Aussie tourists stared at each other and eat a couple bites of the extremely smelly burgers and left.

He had an attitude on the microphone then when I got to the window he says that the order is not there when I clearly showed him the order and address. Customer service seems to be declining these days. Supervisors need to do a better job.

Never have i ever reviewed any out to eat places but this was absurd. Tenders shouldn't be that dark at all. I know for a fact oil to fryers isn’t changed regularly. I even took the 3 piece back thinking it was just because they weren’t fresh. They came back with 4 and still the same problem. Never again.

Food was cold while eating it here, asked for it for here, got it to go. Employee sneezing in her hands, playing with her hair, then touching food. Talk about a place that tarnishes the whataburger brand and values. This is absolutely terrible.
