Great food, lovely spot for outdoor dining. Very friendly staff. Food was outrageous, simply delicious. We had the Twisted Pineapple Slam with chicken and the Hawaiian Mac Salad. Mac Salad is crazy good! Also had the Hawaiian beef teriaki skewers with side salad & grilled zuchini. Simply delish! Oh, and don't forget the Finadene - Incredibly flavorful! Forgot to take pics of the food, but...we'll be back for sure and take pics next time. Love this place.

The garlic butter shrimp plate was so delicious! I added the grilled pineapples and a side order of musubi. The plate itself has a nice balance of textures and the flavors compliment each other well! The mac is refreshing and the Hawaiian roll adds a nice sweetness. It was my first time trying musubi, it tasted amazing! I will definitely return and eat in the patio area because the vibes were nice with plenty of seating and tropical music playing.

Placed a DD order for pickup and everything was phenomenal!!! This is my second time ordering and Pacific Flame is easily becoming one of our go to places. Salmon/Chicken/Shrimp have been cooked to perfection each time and everything is so flavorful! I highly recommend!

This spot is down a weird alleyway but it’s worth it. Don’t get worried, it’s there you don’t want to skip this spot. Pacific flame One of THE BEST meals I’ve had so far this year! The owner chef provides a perfect meal and amazing service too. The loco moco is🤌🏻 even better than the times I had it on the big island! Grilled pineapple to start is a good choice too. I cant wait to go back again soon.

Went there with my boyfriend and instantly greeted with smiles from the owner! The owner is sweet and patient. The food is AMAZING! I am a picky eater but I am so glad I went here! I didn’t leave a single crumb in my box. I got the chicken dish and tried the pig, the meats are delicious! I also loved the sauce poured onto my rice and meat. I will definitely be back again later this week as I keep wanting it on the weekends when they’re closed. I hope this food truck blossoms and becomes bigger as they deserve it!

I stopped by for an early dinner on a Friday. I ordered the surf and turf plate. The beef and shrimp were amazing! The pasta salad and rice were great and fresh! The roll was very tasty and fresh! Great service from the girl working, she was very friendly. Best Hawaiian food in Austin! I’ll be back! Thank you!

I am so happy to leave this review! So I work about 100 yd away from this place and I found myself at work without a car one day and I was hungry... I've tried four different things so far five if you count the free samples she has given me and ... I'll just say this what I ordered today was dad's spam and cabbage and it's so freaking good I'm getting a little emotional. I'm Irish so it reminds me of cabbage and sausage. Anyways if you come order in person there's a $5 chicken and rice deal... It's so simple it's just grilled chicken over rice with whatever the marinade is and you can taste the grill marks and it's cooked so perfectly... I'm going to stop but I'm just saying I can't say enough about the food it's perfect. But I also have to mention her I don't know why I haven't asked for her name yet but the lady who runs the place exudes Hawaii so clearly that every time I walk away with my food I feel a little bit better about life I swear to God I know that sounds dramatic. For example I walked up today and I was like hey sorry I'm a little bit late and her response was basically no such thing, we're on Hawaiian Time! And I was like... She's right! It's like I've been conditioned for negative self speak even it's something as simple as being a few minutes late to pick up food that I paid for... She is a sweetheart she's beautiful, and I think she deserves to be plastered across social media because she has a sitting area out there that's really nice too! I can't really say enough

Tried Pacific Flame Grill today for the first time, and very happy that I found this place. The chicken teriyaki had an amazing flavor, the macaroni salad was delicious, and there was plenty of rice and chicken to fill me up. The lady who was running it was very kind and allowed me to sample the macaroni salad, as I did not realize it was on my plate (I thought it was just rice and chicken). Great food, great owners/workers, highly recommend!

Recently moved to TX, originally from HI, and have been craving food from home. The Huli Huli chicken plate lunch was so ono, Mac salad was done right & the rice was too. I’ll be coming back! Cece was great!!

First time trying Hawaii food as someone who was born and raised in Hawaii until I was 18. I got the Kailua pig and a POG Hawaiian sun. It was solid, good portion size, Mac salad was good too. The woman in the stand was funny and we shared a good quick conversation. Wait time was maybe 10 minutes for 2 plates and two musubis.

Tried the Shoyu Chicken and it was delicious and a good portion size. I am looking forward to trying their pork next time. The owner was also really friendly and made sure the food came out right. One thing I would love on the menu that some other Hawaiian places have is their take on Chicken Katsu with the Katsu sauce.

The food was okay. It was all cooked well, the mac salad was average. I ordered 🍱 the adobo salmon and shoyu chicken🍗. They oddly came with the same sauce mixture of soy sauce and onions of some sort. My personal opinion, it was to flavor the two protein choices, and it wasn't great, sadly. The pineapple 🍍 options were great, a lot smaller than expected- imagine sliced smaller chunks of pineapple on a kabob stick. The portion servings for the protein choices were small for the price, if you ask me. I do like that this place offers different foods on their menu. However, if you've had Hawaiian🌺, or are looking for a better Hawaiian spot, I suggest going just 3 mins down the road to Shoyu Sugar. Edit (Post-owner response): Thank you for sharing what the mixture is called and educating me on that. (Genuine statement, no sarcasm.) My review was just an honest review. I shared pictures of PART of my order. Not pictured was the shoyu chicken, the grilled pineapple, or the li hing mui & chamoy pineapple. I genuinely tried various things on your menu, and spent a decent amount of money to provide a fair review. I prefer Shoyu Sugar over your food truck, and for you to say they are sending people to leave negative review(s) is a far stretch and wild accusation considering I actually ordered from you. Surely, that slander against Shoyu can't be "the island way," you mentioned. Your food just isn't for everyone, no disrespect.🤙🏽✌🏽

Ordered through Uber eats, notification says order is ready for pick up, but to the cooks surprise of me showing up it was not. When the order was ready I asked what is the best method to order without having to wait so long, and was told the piece of chicken first cooked was too small and another had to be cooked. Chicken does not take 30 minutes to cook, and leaving unattended cooking food is not a best practice. Not worth the wait, 10 minutes of the cook leaving the trailer to go inside, just to come out and give the order immediately after. Sucks getting bad experiences at well rumored places but that’s the gamble of anything these days. ✊🏿
