Okay... but just okay! Nothing spectacular! They're tasty, yes, but they're not amazing. The service is super fast and the prices are quite reasonable.
If you know the place, it's still the same so it's worth having a quick bite. Love the traditional hotdog.
A must-see stop on the way to Anáhuac University of the North. This post has been around for a little over 50 years. There must be a reason.
Miss this place. I loved getting the Galán hamburger and Costras after class. Wish we had costras in Texas. Also loved getting hot dogs wrapped in bacon with fresh Serrano peppers on top.

This place has ben there for as long as I remember. A small hot dog cart is now a catering business and a well established street vendor. You need to try the classic Galan Hotdog and burgers. This was the only reason I considered assisting the Anahuac University at one point. An obligatory visit.

The hamburgers are awful, but the chili hot dogs are great! Although the prices are high.
I think it's more about the school year and affordable prices than the actual flavor. Their hot dogs, even though I ordered three different ones, didn't seem spectacular to me.
Food could be better
Today I sent one of my assistants out to the area, and I told him to grab lunch there with the famous hot dogs, the "galán" (a local brand of hot dogs). I ordered three hot dogs to share here at the office, and what a disappointment! They send them on one of those cardboard plates inside a paper bag. They don't even separate them, and then they put them in a plastic bag. It's a 20-minute walk. They arrived all mushy, and I told my assistant, "This isn't how they sent them to me, it was his mistake too." I don't think they even send them like this on the subway. At Costco and Sam's Club, they send them wrapped in aluminum foil, obviously without tomato, onion, chili peppers, or ketchup. What a pathetic food delivery. I hope they take note and stop this to see if they can improve these awful things they sent us.
I ordered through Rappi. Everything was piled up and squashed, the crusts were all squashed. The pastor wasn't even the right kind. The meat was from who-knows-what and had a strong flavor. The flour tortilla was full of grease. The chicken crust was the same, greasy. The hamburger meat had a weird, tasteless flavor. The hot dog was all over the place. ☹️
