The Cheesecake Factory is a reliable spot with a huge menu that offers something for everyone. The portions are generous, the food quality is consistent, and the cheesecakes are always delicious with many flavors to choose from. The atmosphere is lively and comfortable, making it a good place for casual dining, celebrations, or group gatherings. Overall, it’s a solid choice when you want variety and a satisfying meal.
What can you say? It’s as consistent as it gets and they have this down to a well oiled machine. The consistency of McDonald’s but with a high quality, huge portions and reasonable price. Who doesn’t like Cheesecake Factory?
Absolutely amazing. I went with one of my friends during the evening. Our waiter was super talkative and charismatic. At one point, I had ordered their cucumber salad; however, they were out. Instead of shutting me down, they brought me the few that was left in the kitchen so I wouldn’t be left with a craving. They even covered the cost! Absolutely amazing and a great attention to detail.
Took my dad on a quick lunch date here. We ordered the crap spinach dip & lunch farfalle chicken garlic pasta to share. Service was extremely friendly and prompt. They brought out their delicious service very quickly and even had time to get seconds. We sat on the patio and it was a perfect atmosphere. Dad can’t wait to come back and try more things on the huge menu very soon.
I never get disappointed at this place. I usually eat pasta, but this time i wanted something different. So i ordered "Meat Diane" and im glad i did...i have a new favorite (along with the 4 cheese pasta) ...meat and sauce were amazing and the mashed potato? I was not expecting much and i had a great surprise. Don't believe me ...go to your nearby Cheesecake factory and ask for MEAT DIANE ...and let's discuss!!
Went twice while visiting. we sat at the bar for drinks before a movie (sorry no pictures) but the service was good and the sangria tasty and cold. We also went to lunch. The appetizers were good and everyone was happy with their choices. Posting one picture of my favorite meal, the lunch chicken piccata; always delicious. The server also kept us supplied with the fresh bread
I have visited this restaurant several times, and it never disappoints. The food is consistently delicious, with generous portion sizes that make every meal feel satisfying and worthwhile. The ingredients always taste fresh, and the dishes are prepared with great care and attention to flavor. However, one recurring issue is the wait time. It often takes quite a while for the food to arrive, even when the restaurant isn’t particularly busy. While the quality of the food makes up for the delay, it’s something to keep in mind if you’re planning to dine here. Overall, it’s a wonderful place with excellent food and hearty portions — just be prepared to wait a little longer than usual.
The Cheesecake Factory at the Irvine Spectrum Center is an excellent dining spot for those looking to enjoy a variety of dishes in a relaxed and spacious setting. One of the standout features is its expansive menu, offering everything from hearty pasta and flavorful burgers to fresh salads and globally inspired dishes. No matter your craving, there’s something for everyone. The large portions make it perfect for sharing or taking leftovers home, so you’ll certainly leave satisfied. The restaurant itself is designed for comfort, with spacious booths that offer a quiet and cozy dining experience despite the lively atmosphere. If you prefer outdoor dining, the patio is a great option, with plenty of comfortable seating to enjoy the California weather. Whether you’re there for a casual lunch or a celebratory dinner, the well-spaced layout and welcoming ambiance make it a pleasant experience. Of course, no visit to The Cheesecake Factory is complete without saving room for dessert. Their famous cheesecake menu is unparalleled, featuring a wide range of decadent flavors, from the classic Original to indulgent options like Oreo Dream Extreme and Dulce de Leche. Even after a filling meal, the creamy, rich cheesecakes are well worth the indulgence. With attentive service and a diverse menu, The Cheesecake Factory at Irvine Spectrum Center is a go-to spot for both comfort food and sweet treats.
Dining at The Cheesecake Factory in Spectrum Mall, Irvine, is convenient! My mom’s friend wanted to meet us there for dinner, but we didn’t make a reservation. It was nice that the front desk asked if we preferred to sit inside or outside, and I chose inside to keep my parents warm as it gets chilly in the evening. It worked out perfectly, they gave us a quiet spot where we could enjoy an intimate time together. We even stayed for about three hours, enjoying our delicious and filling meal. By the time we left, the place was packed! We ordered the grilled salmon with potatoes, an old-fashioned cheeseburger with fries, chicken with mushrooms, the SkinnyLicious Asian chicken salad, and two fresh strawberry cheesecakes. I forgot to take more pictures and meal they pick because we were having such a great time. The server was friendly and attentive, making it easy to ask questions. There are so many more dishes to try next time.

Mojo is excellent. He's super relaxed and chill but professional and timely. Great recommendations with the Japanese Sour. Best whiskey sour I've had. Our friends all ask for his section

I’ve been going to The Cheesecake Factory in Irvine for years, ever since my childhood friend Rosemary first took me there. The atmosphere is always lively and welcoming, and the menu has so many options that it’s hard to choose just one! The food is consistently good, though sometimes the service can be a little slow during peak hours. That said, it’s a reliable spot for a fun meal with friends or family, and of course, the cheesecake is always worth it.
Service and atmosphere is unparall. Food quality appears to be degrading. We are frequent visitors. Last night we ordered 3 vegetarian dishes. Two pastas and one orange qualiflower bowl. Pastas were under cooked and chewey. Orange qualiflower was too sweet. Couldn't finish. Otherwise all good.
We came here with 8 people, and the weather was so nice that sat at an outside table. We ordered variety of Hamburgers, Pasta, Steak, Korean fried chicken, and more. All the food was great and so much that we couldn’t finish it. Nevertheless, We had a Cheese cake, the signature menu here, and it was so good for me that among the best cheese cake I had.
Moderate Review: The Cheesecake Factory – Irvine Spectrum I've been a loyal customer of The Cheesecake Factory at Irvine Spectrum for over 18 years, and it’s always been one of my go-to spots for a reliable dining experience. However, my recent visit on a Saturday night left me with mixed feelings. One major inconvenience was the lack of phone reservations. We had to wait around 35–45 minutes to be seated, which was frustrating considering the crowds. The restaurant was packed, and it was clear that the number of servers didn’t quite match the volume of guests. As a result, the service was slower than what I’ve come to expect over the years. The food, while still decent, seemed a bit off from its usual standard. It felt more like mass-produced, factory-style preparation this time, and the freshness just wasn’t there. That said, the signature brown bread they serve at the beginning is still one of the best — warm, soft, and flavorful. One thing I’ve always appreciated about their menu is the wide variety of options for both kids and adults. Unfortunately, I was disappointed to see that they’ve removed the eggplant stew, which used to be one of my favorites. I still hold hope that they revisit their service standards and food quality. I’d love to see them return to the excellence that made them a standout all these years. Looking forward to coming back when that happens.
Came here for happy hour for the first time in a while and was pleasantly surprised by the variety of options! So many appetizer options for $10 and they were full normal size which can be rare! Some…

I want to love this place, its the Cheesecake Factory after all but they just miss dinner service every time. Due to the location, the restaurant tends to get busy at dinner time, for that reason, we prefer to go to the bar area for immediate seating. We arrive usually before 6pm, which is Happy Hour prices, however, it’s a race to find a server to get an order in. Yes, we can get there earlier and no, the restaurant does not revolve around us, however, when you see people roaming around, smiling at you, asking where you want to sit (yes it was a bar worker) watching you as you come in, they should follow up to see if you want anything off the Happy Hour menu. Servers should be prepared to do a final round to make sure patrons get the participate in Happy Hour. Next, is the lack of attentive service in the bar area due to the bartender, also being a server at the hightop tables. Service is slow and the bar patrons are prioritized. We sat and waited, an extended time for our check and an extra to-go box to no avail. We asked another server helping the booths/tables in the bar if she could help us get our check and a box, to which she flat out refused, pointed to the bartender and walked away (she did not say one word and simply pointed instead). So customer service starts and stops at your assigned tables and not only can you not help the restaurants paying customer, you also cannot walk 5 steps to relay to the bartender their hightop needs support. Please, staff the bar appropriately or ensure that the staff that are assigned are willing and able to help everyone who seeks help, not just ignore them. The food is good, not the best, not the worst, but good enough that if service could keep up, we would probably frequent there more often. The bread though, that is always amazing so I want to make sure it gets its moment in the spotlight.
It had been awhile since my last visit... any way, we came for a team lunch. Sat outside, the weather and temperature can't be better. 2 servers assigned for our group of 20ppl. Service was great, tentative and considerably quick for big group. We pretty much ordered from lunch specials, portions were huge .. for lunch. Big bang for bucks for sure. Foodwise, can't speak for everybody else but my "Famous Factory Meatloaf" was good but didn't knock my socks off. Texture was fine, a bit herbal. Topped with mushrooms sauce which was not mushrooms and was not umami. Since the sauce is not any special so doesn't add any taste wise, I would prefer the old fashioned ketchup-brown sugar glaze. Mashed potatoes was good but not flavorful. We ordered a few of cheesecakes. The original one was average. The tripple berry bliss was very good. The Godiva chocolate cheesecake was exceptionally good, very chocolaty but not super sweet, silky but not super dense. Ran into one of co-workers so I asked what she ordered. She ordered an Asian noodle dish, it was so average at best....
I think the best food in cheesecake factory is the cheesecake and the bread, everything else is just so so. We came on a Sunday morning and requested to sit outside. It was nice out but there was not enough shade. Our waitress was nice but also in a hurry. We ordered the pasta, French toast, and some kids meals. The pasta tasted good for the first two bites, but then I realized it was way too oily/buttery. It made me sick in the end. French toast was the same thing too much oil. Kids meal was alright but the Mac cheese was kind cold. The check book was reminding you in three languages to give tips; that's fine but the tip was calculated after the tax, why do I have to pay tips for tax?
My friends and I decided to have Saturday night dinner at The Cheesecake Factory, and the place was bustling with a crowd. Being located in a plaza, parking was plentiful around the area with free parking garages. Despite the busy atmosphere, we faced a 30-45 minute wait time, which was longer than usual. The wait staff who initially showed us to a table near the restroom wasn't quite friendly when we opted for a different spot. Understandably, it was a busy hour, but after waiting for 45 minutes, we preferred not to sit near a high-traffic area. Once seated at a comfortable spot, our server was very friendly. The restaurant boasts a good ambiance and seating capacity, both indoors and outdoors. We were served the classic bread basket with sourdough and brown bread. While the brown bread was the better choice, the second serving was delayed due to the kitchen not baking new batches promptly. We enjoyed a couple of drinks, with the Mai Tai and whisky smash being our favorites, though the Mai Tai could've been better. For appetizers, we ordered avocado egg rolls and cheesy nacho fiestas with chicken. The avocado egg rolls were tasty, especially with the dipping sauce. However, the nacho fiesta fell short, with one portion being cold and lacking in chicken quantity. Moving on to mains, we ordered jambalaya, chicken Madeira, Diane steak, and shrimp pasta. The jambalaya and steak were enjoyable, but the chicken Madeira was dry and overly salty. The shrimp noodles were undercooked, prompting us to return it, which the server handled with understanding. We wrapped up our dinner with some cheese cakes, the Godiva cheesecake, which was good, but the chocolate flavor dominated the cheesecake. However, the original cheesecake and dulce de leche cheesecake were exceptional. Overall, if you're craving cheesecake and looking for a semi-fine dining experience, this place is worth a visit.

I wanted to give this place 5 stars but they were struggling. Took us 30 minutes to be seated. Server was fine, but just like everyone else... agree the service was so slow. Like I mean even the drinks and waters. Then she came back with only half our drinks and the rest took even longer and we had to ask for them again. Once we ordered food, one out of the 5 plates was made wrong and it came out at different times. All of our cups were empty for a good 20 minutes until I finally asked if everyone could have refills. Again, fighting for basic service here. Then at the end, check comes and the tip is already totaled into the the final bill... like what? Let me choose how to tip. Anyway its kinda small in there and I wouldn't return.
The patio is beautiful and they have quite an extensive menu, but the overall dining experience was underwhelming. Took 15+ minutes to get acknowledged by a server, food was even slower coming out, and our apps and meals were all lukewarm and mediocre tasting at best. The restaurant is super busy and not worth the wait or hype in my opinion.
The food was average. The chicken was too dry. My partner had the Thai chicken and they added shrimp without telling her. Then I tried to pay with a Cheesecake Factory Bonus card, but even though the card was good I had to call customer service to get it activated and that took thirty minutes even though I had already activated it online. The server became impatient and it was not a good experience. Definitely won’t be purchasing anymore Cheesecake Factory Bonus cards and honestly with all of the great restaurants we have in our area I probably won’t be returning there. Parking is inconvenient and the service was a little less than average.

Tipping culture has really changed. Before the pandemic, not tipping on takeout was totally normal — nobody thought twice about it. But now, it feels like not tipping is somehow “wrong,” and this place even mark “Tip Free” on your order. 😔 When I order online and pick up the food myself, there’s no table service involved. Packaging the food is part of the job, not an extra favor. A tip should be a thank-you, not an obligation or a source of pressure. It’s not that I refuse to tip — I just hope restaurants remember that tipping should come from appreciation, not from fear of being judged.
I just got out of the restaurant. My server never smiled, which was okay, and he said his device was not working for Apple pay. When I said I only had Apple pay (I didnt bring my wallet), he kept his suspicious eyes and rude voice not even trying any other way to accepting Applepay. I had to use my friend's cash. Even when I asked more bread, he was rude saying "What? Are you still....." Hey, the extra bread is joy of Cheesecake Factory. Learn your job. So, I will just choose another one in Irvine Spectrum Center.
My friend and I visited this restaurant for a chat and a bite. We ordered appetizers as soon as we arrived, but it took an excruciatingly long hour and five minutes for them to arrive. To make matters worse, they completely forgot to bring one of the items we had specifically ordered and expected to receive first, for some reason they had the audacity to bring it last and forget to add it overall. To top it all off, the manager offered only cheesecakes, which were not even on our menu. So, if you’re willing to wait for an hour and a half for mediocre appetizers and a pizza that tastes just as good anywhere else, this restaurant is definitely not worth your time.
